Loretta, I am used to the timer on my feeder going off....but it still startles me every time!!! LOL!
It isn't working right now....timer itself apparently has broken, cause SIL says battery is ok----squirrels and flickers have figured out how to spin the thingy enough to spew out small amounts of corn!

It is still 78 here. I can hear the cicadas and tree frogs singing like crazy, even with the TV on! Carolyn says it is lightening at her place...about 15 miles south of me...still hoping for some rain.
Still no real known answers with the football players....no mention now of anyone being critical.

Well, once again, got the key out from under the mat to let myself in and thanks for the nite lite.
Got the boys to bed then I collapsed. It was a busy busy day! I cooked lasagna for supper and made a double recipe. I froze one dish and will take it to Laurel to pull out next week.
Cute story!!! Boys were in the other room playing when a disagreement broke out. Jacob was yelling. I told him to come in to me and talk to me. His reply...."I have nothing to say." Little smarty!!!
Lynn, so glad things are going well for Carolyn. We wish her well!!
Wish some one would send us rain. Loretta....need another rain dance!
Okay, falling asleep. Another busy day tomorrow. Making pizzas and taking them to Laurel's when we take the boys home. Going to Meet the Teacher for Joseph, eating and then coming home. I will collapse this weekend.

Lynn, so happy about your daughter's new job and her good first day at work. I know she feels better now. Prayers for her continued success.
Keeping my fingers crossed for my son. He was upstairs last night rummaging around for the resume paper. He came in late because he was out buying himself a printer so he would not have to keep running upstairs to use mine. Of course, he came in less than 5 minutes after I put little doggie back in his crate.
Suzi keeps sending me various messages from Hawaii. She seems to be having a wonderful time. She left her old job and will start a new one when she returns. She is enjoying her youth, but she does work very hard with school and a full-time job.
Judie--she was working at Talbot's at Tyson's Corner. They have some pretty nice things there, but expensive. I looked at some of them when I was there to meet her on the night we went to the Kennedy. Just looked. Did not buy. But they were pretty.
Suzi will be working at DSW now. Thinks the with the economy the way it is, stores providing such basic needs as shoes for reasonable prices are more likely to stay around. And, she has good friends working there.
Convocation . . . convocation. Did I spell it wrong before? I can't even find the message now. Anyway, I did miss it, but I can watch parts of it on the school system's website.
Need to go find some more posters in the basement. My room looks pretty plain still. Lolly would not approve. I would not make it as a kindergarten teacher without more decorations. Actually, I ordered a bunch of posters online, but they have not arrived yet. Spent too much, but I need something new just for myself if not for the students.
Sorry to keep rambling on.
Must go rummaging around for more posters.

I remember when Hawaii bacame a state Norma. I'm older than dirt too. Sorry I have not been blogging much lately. This old man got caught up with Facebooks virtual games and has been helping Candy and Gloria do farming. lol I'm doing well and trying to stay out of trouble but not having much luck. I am having fun though and thats what counts. I just sent Magpie an email and hopefully if she can follow directions her PC will have sound again.

Good morning Normabyrd. Tom and Sissy and Mattie are at the lake. They went yesterday evening. She is going to work from there for 4 hours today. Rough life but somebody has to live it.
I am heading to Bedford tomorrow for the week. Come back Friday for the Beaver/Graham football game, then Saturday go to Institute to see Andrew's first public band performance with the WV State University Yellow Jackets. Never been a bee before! :)
I think I am going to get my walk in early today before it gets too hot.
