Belle is up and I think Hidey is too.
K 26 is trying again and again to feed her chick. The chick looks interested part of the time and even reaches for the food now. But I don't think it is opening its mouth and taking the bites yet.
Still trying, still not taking it.

Hi all! Have not been on all day. Headed outside early and was there all day. Even grabbed a bite for lunch and took it outside. Have I said before how much I LoVE spring?!

Just watched the video of the okefenokee. Great video, but I think it has scenes from other places.
Well, I just turned off the "protected mode" and restarted the computer. Now I have the cam. This is interesting as I have had it on before and got the cam. Do not know what the problem is.
I just let the dogs out and it is nasty outside, glad I don't have to go anywhere tonight.

Some very strange sounds coming from there aren't there ?
You all probably read on the Eaglet emails that the Loch Garten Osprey nest, now has a mating paor! EJ - the "regular" female, and a new, unringed suitor, they have been doing the hanky panky, and the nest is getting some attention.
Isla and Angus, at Loch of the Lowe's - have been "at it" for several days now and eggs should appear soon!
Both the above are in Scotland.
Makes Chrissy incredibly Happy! ☺
Makes for some nice early morning watching when I am getting ready for work, that and the Finney nests.
Great Videos, Deb, the two Pelican Harbor ones, and the Fish Tug-of-War at OUR nest today.
Guess Hidey sort of earned his Sea Legs overnight and today with the howling winds...he's not all nuzzled and covered up as he (or she) would normally be. Our Little Baby is growing up...Sigh
Looks like I am going to miss all you Eagle Cats.....
...Because it is my bedtime...

Well, I don't know why, maybe because the wind has died down, both Belle and the chick are awake, and they're getting up and stretching wings and legs.
Looks like she's going to sleep between the chick and the wind in case it starts blowing again..

NBG is feeding, feeding, feeding her chicks.
She has to feed them until they can't stay upright and awake, or they will peck the smaller ones horribly. But she gets them full and then makes sure the smaller one(s) get theirs.
They all seem to be getting enough ... sooner or later.

I think Belle couldn't find breakfast ... she doesn't look as hard as Liberty under the grass at this end of the nest ... and she's either gone to find Liberty or some fish on her own.
In the meantime, the little one was doing some 'nestorations' in the egg cup...even aerating one spot like Mom does.

Good morning everyone. Ya know as I sit here and enjoy the pop up cam looking awesome I think man now that I can really see this little one and its personality etc. I think being our only grandchick we are all going to cheer it on of course but really miss it when its gone. What a cutie.
