I hope I didn't fall between the split. Im still doing birthday photos. I am putting them on my Wanda's Wishes and then will copy and paste them to others at the party that wanted copies. I find that the easiest way for me to do that. Have I missed anything today that I should know about? Like another panda baby (I thought there might have been another born last night, guess I was wrong).
Saw your first set of pics of the party and will check out your others.
Requested prayers for Nilla's daughter in LA. Most out-of-towners trying to get reservations for Oct 18. Apple Harvest and Shepherd Homecoming also that weekend. Clarion & Comfort said to be filled - told them to head to Martinsburg & Charlestown & even Hagerstown or Frederick! We're all close by.
OH, yes, prayers for sure for Nilla's daughter and all those poor souls who may have to go through that terror again. I haven't listened to the news since early this morning; I need to do that now to catch up on Gustav and Hanna.
The news I am reading is that 2 million people have already been evacuated...and the ones that refuse to leave will not be rescued, I can't imagine anyone not leaving, they have buses trains, and planes this time, looks like they are better prepared than Katrina. So, it looks like no one is trapped, the mayor is still telling people to get out, or as he put it..."GET YOUR BUTT OUT OF HERE!"
Wanda. Enjoyed all the new pictures !! This has been QUITE the month for the Wright Family.
With all the information about reservations being hard to make, I am pretty relieved to be in Berkeley County...here's hoping everyone else can make the arrangements needed. Even Winchester, Va is not that far away...to consider for hotels and motels....about 35 mins from Shepherdstown.
Packing the lunch and getting out the duds to leave for work soon. Keep an eye out for the Sea Eagles for me.
Jo, we didn't take GeeGee with us today. She wasn't feeling up to another party. We took her to a friends cook-out yesterday and although she had a nice time (and ate fairly well), she's partied out for a while.
Rest of pics are great, too, Wanda! Karla looks too young to have Jillian!! And you and Gene look too young to have Karla and Denise! Good night all. Sweet dreams. Margy, hope you have a peaceful night.
I'm still searching......is there going to be a train ride on Sunday....trying to find a place where we won't get bogged down in traffic....not sure Martinsburg would be a good option due to its parade
I guess I will get some sleep too...have to pack tomorrow.
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE SLEEP TIGHT PRAYERS FOR ALL....STILL PRAYING FOR YOU MASON. THERE IS STILL SOME OF THE WEEKEND LEFT FOR YOU TO ENJOY IF YOU WILL WAKE UP.
I'm keeping a close eye on TS Hanna, one of the computer models has it heading straight for OC....I should be out of here on Friday or Saturday...I would never stay here during a tropical storm
I am getting on, just as most of you are heading to bed again and I will be heading there also. We had another cookout tonight, did some house stuff when I got home and now am Slam Wore Out. I am hoping to get home earlier than 9:30 tomorrow, so I can catch up on the happenings and get some good rest.
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE... HAPPY LABOR DAY... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY KARLA... Forgot to ask you if you had to work today (hope not). ENJOY!
Helen, I did get my hair cut, but not as short as you might think...in the photos of Karla's party, I wore my hair pulled up. Don't think I would ever get it cut that short...I need to have enough hair to wear in different styles. LUN LUN is curled up in a corner with little "Jewel".
Good Labor Day morning. Seems as if many are enjoying sleeping in. I just got back from Mass. Prayed for all in Gustav's way and for our military people. Might join you at the beach in October sister.
I like my hair long also Wanda. It keeps my head warm in winter and can be pulled up in summer to keep my head cool. Just looked in on Lun lun and baby and they are sleeping.

Do you think NCTC should maybe attempt to change their day next year!!--This is SHEPHERD'S HOMECOMING & the APPLE FESTIVAL (not correct name) is celebrated in MARTINSBURG---w/parade!!! (just a thought)
Norma, I have been thinking that for the last couple of years, its not like they are doing anything seasonal with their exihibits, and to compete with everything else, makes me want to run the other way .

Saved a couple pics from Finland BIG nest yesterday--sent to Suzanne. Was probably a juvie Sea Eagle--didn't have the white tail. Beautiful, big bird. Think they are larger that Bald Eagle. Will have to check on Norway SE nest later in year and see if adults are there during winter.
Good Labor Day afternoon to all. Happy Birthday to Karla, and to my doxie, Cinnamon, who turns 9 today! Beautiful day here. Hope everyone is enjoying their day. Jim must have slept through the night!! Wonder what Vicki and Red are uo to...and Chrissy...we haven't seen them in awhile. Bet Dave is having a grand time now that his labors are done! Watched the video of Lun Lun giving birth...how marvelous! Her Labor Day was early! Question....hey, Mits!....where was the umbilical cord and amniotic sac????? That baby came out unattached, unless it is so small that we couldn't see it...???
I've ridden out 2 CAt. 1 hurricanes--one in FL and one at Hatteras.....tolerable, but not a lot of fun. I remember Hazel in '54 which hit DC...I was only 5 but remember sitting in the car while my dad went into a mom&pop store to get bread and milk, and a gigantic tree fell on the car parked in front of ours! Don't know what category the storm was when it hit DC but think it's the worst on record for the city.
Ceil, glad you liked the pics. I have some more to put on---but think we're too busy "Pandaed" right now! I remember Hazel. Was one of the worst around here. Gustav is 200 mi wide, so will sock from FL panhandle to E. TX w/rain & some tornado warnings.Supposed to slow down as it gets inland so TX+ will get lots of rain & possible flooding.Levees are holding in NO.
Loretta, I remember Hazel. We would sit out in our back yard under the porch and watch. Even saw an eye pass over. As far as the panda birth. Sounds strange but they seem to just come out without the sac or cord. I was wondering that. Will have to look it up.
Ceil, remember Grandpop, struggling up the street in the wind, to come eat oyster stew, that Mom had fixed, because it was Friday, and we didn't eat meat then, and we had the gas stove and ate by candlelight...I was sick.....Luns' water broke around 1:30p.m. on Saturday, pretty sure there is no umbilical cord, but may be wrong.
iT'S a kind of overcast, drizzly morning in the low 70's here in So Cal, but it will clear up substantially and break into the 80's later on.
I opened the IWS site first, found a list of the animals on Catalina Island, which Dr. Sharpe posted to answer a question; and I've spent a lot of the morning checking out those animals (especially the snakes) on Wikipedia, etc. So, I'm delayed signing on here by at least 3 hrs. ... it was a very interesting 3 hrs. though.
Still no sign of Finney's chick today, and I think we can consider their season officially ended. :~D
Helen, I remember that. I have been trying to look up How a panda is born? Seems to be no cord nor sac. How is it done? I know I am sounding stupid. But how are they born. No wonder they have problems.
Hi Jim, I've been checking other stuff too. Since the Black Storks in Estonia havge fledged, they have learned from blood tests now that all 3 are females. Miss Middle's GPS shows her to be south in Belarus as of 8-29. There is a click on line that shows map. The cam is running a slide show of the season.
http://www.looduskalender.ee/en/node/86
I was wondering too after seeing the panda birth, that Lun did not have anything to clean up!? Baby just fell out intact.Perhaps that leaves the mother's body later & we didn't see that.Good research ? for Mits!
Sorry to be"labor" the point...all mammals have a placenta w/ umbilical cord which supplies the blood and nutrients to the fetus, which is contained within the amniotic sac, floating in the amniotic fluid. When the "water breaks" it is the sac tearing open and the amniotic fluid gushes out. The umbilical cord remains attached to the fetus and the placenta until the cord is "cut"--or chewed in the natural animal kingdom....the placenta is then "delivered" shortly after the birth of the fetus. Animals usually eat the placenta. But we all saw that cub just drop out onto the floor w/ nothing!! Very strange!!!! I am really wondering!
Happy Afternoon to Everyone, and I second Mema's greetings too: Happy Labor Day no matter what kind of "Labor" everyone does these days...past, present...and future....employed, unemployed, retired...I don't think we have any slackers in this bunch!
Off to check a few sites. Missed Animal Planet...well, can't get it anyway on my TV anymore...
I have six calendars to change pages on...always a fun experience.
I've been in the yard and plan to go back out. Also, watching the hurricane on TV. We may possibly get some rain from it, hope so! We could use it!
Lots of evacuees in our area. Guess some of you will be affected by Hannah. Strange to see on TV two hurricanes on the weather map.
Have a Jaoob quote from yesterday. Jacob will be 4 next week. Last night we were at Braums for ice cream. We were watching multiple birds flying around. It was mentioned it is not too wise to be under that many birds for fear of bird poop. Jacob said, "Do they wipe their bottoms with their tails?" Jack and I lost it!!! LOL
Hi Lolly: Like Jacob's quote..that's a kid's view for you.
- Nice chick at CT Osprey, some funny little stick at 11 o'clock keeps blowing in the wind, looks like a little snake or something, - Chick at WildWatch Osprey soaking up the sun - Labor Day party at Burrowing Owls
And Lun Lun and Baby asnoozing, wonder if Mom has had a meal yet? I've been sleeping so missed all the daytime activity there so far.
Margy, Momma panda may not eat for a few days. She has to keep the cub warm. That much I do know. When Tai was born Mei did not eat for a few days and he started to cry and she went right back to him.
Wow CEIL - What keeps her from being ravenously hungry...just Momma Love I guess...how do the folks at the zoo know when she is ready and do they keep food sitting around that she can get to for when that time happens?
Margy, I don't know how Atlanta is set up but the NZ Mei was in the birthing den and it was next to the bigger den. Lots of food was kept in there. When she went out for food the one time when Tai was a few weeks old they shut the door and took him to exam him. He cried and she tried to get through the door.
Lynn, I sent you a pic of a cub with the cord still attached...animals do a good job of cleaning up after themselves, Lun's cleaning will stimulate baby's bladder and bowels, and you know the rest of the story
Helen, I have never seen a cord. They must be quick. The cub comes out very clean and must be a little cord. Jo, that is the same thing I saw. Nothing about the actual birthing process.
She just walked away from the baby, somebody reached in and picked it up. She was patting at it and then the camera switched off of them. I pray everything is okay!
Lun Lun had walked away from the baby, somebody reached in and picked it up, laid it right back down. Lun Lun then walked up to the baby, smelled it a little bit, reached out and patted it a little bit and the next thing I know, they had turned the cam off of them.
Cam is greyish here too. Clicked on another Atlanta page & they have phone & email info. I doubt they would answer---Zoo gates close to public at 5:30. Admission is $17.99 for adults!!!!Guess we're spoiloed here w/Smithsonian spots! Maybe they will write an update--if they have taken cub, are probably doing weight, checkup, etc.
Anne Marie, read Sharon's blog entry above. That is about all I know, what she told me. Maybe it is just for an exam, or maybe they are going back to their regular schedule. I am praying.
Lets be positive. Its just an exam, everything is ok. I have been painting and sanding a kitchen project all day. Its a built in plate rack. I'm excited it just isnt drying fast enough for me.
Hi everyone. Hope you have enjoyed Labor Day. Glad you were able to get a room in Shepherdstown Anne Marie. My Panda Cam is on but not showing Lun Lun or baby at this time.
If some of you have fax machines, are you getting any messages?? Our kitty, Binky, has discovered if you push some buttons or lift the lid, you'll hear some beeps & a 1 inch strip of paper will come out! What fun, a new game!
Based upon the behavior of giant panda Lun Lun and her new born cub, Zoo Atlanta's colleague from China and the Zoo's Animal Management and Veterinary Teams jointly decided to place the new-born cub in an incubator for closer monitoring and observation.
Zoo Atlanta's Veterinary and Animal Management teams will continue working diligently to ensure that Lun Lun and cub receive the best care and treatment possible.
Zoo officials will provide updates as they are available. Keisha Hines-Davis Director of Public Relations & Communications
Okay, the baby is still alive and you know it cannot get better treatment than what it is getting right now. So, to me, that means God is in charge and we can relax. He has this all under control.
I just got home & was checking LUN LUN & LITTLE LUN!----CLOSED until 10:00 tomorrow!!------SHARON--don't you think they are trying to exam the CUB!---We didn't get to see BUTA BUTA for a while!!---This is so EXCITING!!----Looking forward to watching her!!--
Yes that is true and another thought if there can be up to 24 hours between births perhpas they suspect Lun Lun is in labor and they felt it safer for the cub to be removed so nothig will happen to it if there is an imminent other delivery speculation for sure.
Wanda if I take a look at your tree frog am I going to be happy or sad cause if its sad I will not be looking . Its been a depressing year in many ways but yes N C T C eagles are doing fine as far as we all know and I like it left just like that :)
Family has left from a very enjoyable early evening meal.
Reading the update on Atlanta - I have not had any news briefs through emails - I'll post if I do. I am concerned BUT they certainly are on the ball and not taking any chances with that little cub. I just pray eveything is ok and that Lun Lun can soon have her baby back. I don't have any idea what could have warranted placing the new-born cub in an incubator for closer monitoring and observation.
Glo - There are some really good people watching cams I know of! Also some traffic ones... Not as exciting! And please don't look at the Tree Frog - Wanda fried him on the overhead light! lol
We have been through so much there are times when I would like to say, Please Mother Nature, NO MORE NONSENSE!
Well, my wonderful eagle and panda friends, I am going to go take a shower and find my bed. Camping is fun and I dearly love it but boy it sure does wear me out.
Sleep tight all. Pray for our panda baby. Hope all are safe in Louisiana tonight.
In knowing that Mother Nature and God are so awesome - this is my belief. Lun Lun walked away from that baby so they would know she needed somebody to help her with it. She knew something wasn't right.
OK, I just made my reservations and I am coming to the open house. I sure hope that Belle and Liberty decide to pay a visit when I am there! But even if they don't, we will all have a great time meeting each other in person!
My house guest should be arriving soon. A friend's daughter is going to be staying here for the next 5 weeks. She will be taking classes in town for that time and it doesn't make sense for her to get an apartment or a dorm room. She will just be here Tues-Thurs nights.
Unbelievable, Bob... I saw a SNOWY two years ago in a little marsh area in Jefferson County, WV, was VERY hard to get close to, had to "trespass" to do it but it was nice.
Good Evening All...Wish EVERYONE on here could be at the Open House, and Chrissy and Geula too !
I guess it wasn't exactly trespassing, just had to pull into someone's farm field to ooch closer to the marsh....it wasn't posted so I guess I didn't break any laws....
Just saw an update on the baby panda. They are giving the impression that this is not an unusual thing, but the panda cam will remain offline. Update at 10 or sooner if conditions warrant.
Great pics, Bob. Thank you for sharing them with us. We saw an osprey fishing at the lake this weekend, so beautiful. Saw a few herons too but couldn't get a good shot of them.
MEMA: I would have put up at my place if you hadn't gotten reservations !!! You are a MUST HAVE ! Where will you be staying? We'll start getting driving directions ready from Martinsburg for those staying there..
Well, mysterious report from Atlanta but I also feel that the Baby and Mother are going to get the BEST CARE.
Good Night to those heading for the Feather Pillows...Sweet Dreams, Peaceful rest.
Wasn't that hilarious? Soon as I posted, the boat disappeard behind some trees, but then it stayed around for about 8 refreshes...you can tell I entertain easily, watching a bunch of white lights traverse a dark screen !
That's what working at 9-1-1 does to ya'. Glad you saw it too MITS.. xo
oh Margy, I can sit and watch the ocean and seagulls, and dolphins and be so easily entertained, the fact that we are getting such a clear beautiful pic from half way around the world just amazes me
Wonderful pics Bob! Pics of you and I & some ospreys & herons I took are being used for Patuxent Park section of the division Annual Report!Lady doing the editing wanted more pics of boat, water, etc. & took them off of the blog. Hooray for all the out of towners getting reservations!!!! Gotta hit the hay--Good Night All ;>))
Those ferry boats must be carrying commuters to have two so close together going the same direction..
You know, it speaks well for us that we can take joy in a healed rear-end of a Large Mammal!
You're right, MITS - so much to see, everywhere...used to love to watch the White Storks in the middle of the night..
Think it's almost my bedtime...working dayshift Tues Wed and Thurs....car repair scheduled for the morning, hope I won't have to sneak around anymore...might be broke when it's all done, but at least I can drive safely...
Nighty night everyone, been great "seeing" and talking to everyone today.
Interesting Atlanta news....poor baby and Lun...hope they don't suffer from seperation anxiety. Beautiful new pics of Primo...so majestic! Bob, as usual, your pics are great. So neat to hear of the expanding guest list for Oct. Night all. Prayers for all.

Loretta, I remember Hazel. We would sit out in our back yard under the porch and watch. Even saw an eye pass over. As far as the panda birth. Sounds strange but they seem to just come out without the sac or cord. I was wondering that. Will have to look it up.
Ceil, remember Grandpop, struggling up the street in the wind, to come eat oyster stew, that Mom had fixed, because it was Friday, and we didn't eat meat then, and we had the gas stove and ate by candlelight...I was sick.....Luns' water broke around 1:30p.m. on Saturday, pretty sure there is no umbilical cord, but may be wrong.
eating lunch then off to beach, hubby has been down there for a couple of hours, this old skin can't take too much high intensity sun.
GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE..
iT'S a kind of overcast, drizzly morning in the low 70's here in So Cal, but it will clear up substantially and break into the 80's later on.
How's everything with you folks today??
HAVE A VERY GREAT LABOR DAY CELEBRATION TODAY!!
C(°ï®¡°)D
Jim
Helen, I remember that. I have been trying to look up How a panda is born? Seems to be no cord nor sac. How is it done? I know I am sounding stupid. But how are they born. No wonder they have problems.
Ceil, looks like they just point and shot...off to beach...later
Hi Jim, I've been checking other stuff too.
Since the Black Storks in Estonia havge fledged, they have learned from blood tests now that all 3 are females. Miss Middle's GPS shows her to be south in Belarus as of 8-29. There is a click on line that shows map. The cam is running a slide show of the season.
http://www.looduskalender.ee/en/node/86
I was wondering too after seeing the panda birth, that Lun did not have anything to clean up!? Baby just fell out intact.Perhaps that leaves the mother's body later & we didn't see that.Good research ? for Mits!
In a short while, Paula alerted us that AP will show the Pelican Harbor attack on nest again.
P.S. Could not get back on NCTC again the normal way!? In back door...DUH
I have six calendars to change pages on...always a fun experience.
xoxo Back Later....xoxo
Hi all! Hope you are enjoying your Labor Day.
LOL
Again, have a great day!
Hi Lolly: Like Jacob's quote..that's a kid's view for you.
- Nice chick at CT Osprey, some funny little stick at 11 o'clock keeps blowing in the wind, looks like a little snake or something,
- Chick at WildWatch Osprey soaking up the sun
- Labor Day party at Burrowing Owls
And Lun Lun and Baby asnoozing, wonder if Mom has had a meal yet?
I've been sleeping so missed all the daytime activity there so far.
xo
I guess that's the chick at CT - or could it be the adult?
That stick is so funny!
Margy, Momma panda may not eat for a few days. She has to keep the cub warm. That much I do know. When Tai was born Mei did not eat for a few days and he started to cry and she went right back to him.
Can hardly wait to get a good view of the new panda. She really keeps him out of sight.
Went outside and worked for a short while, but I can not stand it when the sweat starts pouring!
Off to get hubby to light the grill

Can't find anything out yet about
umbilical cord...... Just don't
think there is one.........
Hear the sound of the panda cub
Lynn, I sent you a pic of a cub with the cord still attached...animals do a good job of cleaning up after themselves, Lun's cleaning will stimulate baby's bladder and bowels, and you know the rest of the story
Helen, I have never seen a cord. They must be quick. The cub comes out very clean and must be a little cord. Jo, that is the same thing I saw. Nothing about the actual birthing process.
Helen, Please send that picture to me also.
Are you all watching Lun Lun?
She just walked away from the baby, somebody reached in and picked it up. She was patting at it and then the camera switched off of them. I pray everything is okay!
The baby was moving a little bit after whoever picked it up laid it back down.
Missed it Sharon..someone mentioned earlier they might try to do an exam of the baby...will be watching, and waiting....
Prayers from this end, too...
My Alanta cam shot shows something outside----metal wall, gravel & couple logs!?
Lun Lun had walked away from the baby, somebody reached in and picked it up, laid it right back down. Lun Lun then walked up to the baby, smelled it a little bit, reached out and patted it a little bit and the next thing I know, they had turned the cam off of them.
Pandas do have umbilical cords, probably not very big, cause they are so small.
Thanks, Megan. Knew that had to have one, but it is must be very small.
Sharon the update for today from Atlanta said that they could hear the cub nursing. Don't know what time that was posted. Hope all is okay.
They had a better outdoor pic, but after last 5 min. refresh it is all blue. Wonder if they're going back to their regular cam time schedule. Boo
F or F is on cam right now down under!!
MEGAN - So Good to "see you."
Hope all is well with you.
Thin little wispy crescent moon should be out tonight, look as soon as you can when dusk settles in..
Atlanta Panda Cam is blank grey here for me.
xo
Thanks, Paula. Just one there now but good to know they are together.
Well, my gut is just in a wad wondering what is happening in Atlanta!
F or F is gone now...
BBIALW
Poof! Falcon gone
Panda cam on but gray here also
Oh my gosh!! Everyone pray for the little baby panda! I just now am home to where I can watch it.
Anyboy home?
Yes Anne Marie, we are here. How are ya?
Cam is greyish here too. Clicked on another Atlanta page & they have phone & email info. I doubt they would answer---Zoo gates close to public at 5:30. Admission is $17.99 for adults!!!!Guess we're spoiloed here w/Smithsonian spots!
Maybe they will write an update--if they have taken cub, are probably doing weight, checkup, etc.
Guess not, will try back later....
Hi whats going on with the cub? Anyone know?
There is a note on there now that says the Panda Cam is temporarily offline.
Panda all sprawled out - Big Panda Nap at Smithsonian Cam II
In between Dana and Jo I finally got my room in Shephardstown. they are all sold out now. I feel very blessed.
It looks like they flashed the camera on Lun Lun for just a second and then to Buta. Maybe all is okay!
Hi everyone. Hope you have enjoyed Labor Day. Glad you were able to get a room in Shepherdstown Anne Marie. My Panda Cam is on but not showing Lun Lun or baby at this time.
Make that Yang Yand they are showing now.
Hi Glo, its great to hear from you. Hope everything is OK your way. things are hot here.
Family is here. BBL
At Atlanta can see an outdoor panda now--wonder who?
If some of you have fax machines, are you getting any messages?? Our kitty, Binky, has discovered if you push some buttons or lift the lid, you'll hear some beeps & a 1 inch strip of paper will come out! What fun, a new game!
And that would be Yang Yang, not Yang Yand!

You know Lun Lun is probably flipping out!
Thanks, Sharon. I just saw that also.
Hope cub will be okay.
Okay, the baby is still alive and you know it cannot get better treatment than what it is getting right now. So, to me, that means God is in charge and we can relax. He has this all under control.
I just got home & was checking LUN LUN & LITTLE LUN!----CLOSED until 10:00 tomorrow!!------SHARON--don't you think they are trying to exam the CUB!---We didn't get to see BUTA BUTA for a while!!---This is so EXCITING!!----Looking forward to watching her!!--
TIME FOR FOOD!!----later!
Boy it's gonna be hard to wait until 10 AM. Hope I can see something at work tomorrow.
awww geeeesh poor Lun Lun :( I swear I am gonna swear off animal cams.
Know how you feel, Glo! At least everything is OK. Baby was healthy & fairly well developed at birth & Lun did good!
This has been a bad year for animals and birds. Take a look at my poor Tree Frog on "Wild and Wonderful.
Glo, you know you can't swear off watching the cams. You love those birds too much. It is what it is!
Glo-you probably shouldn't look at the tree frog pic..
Don't look Glo...I am going to take it off. I think it was insensitive of me to post it. Forgive me!
Sunday's BW photos:

I'm off to do the treadmill. I'll check back in later.
Bob
Well, my wonderful eagle and panda friends, I am going to go take a shower and find my bed. Camping is fun and I dearly love it but boy it sure does wear me out.
Sleep tight all. Pray for our panda baby. Hope all are safe in Louisiana tonight.
WAKE UP MASON.
In knowing that Mother Nature and God are so awesome - this is my belief. Lun Lun walked away from that baby so they would know she needed somebody to help her with it. She knew something wasn't right.
Well, what a treat, thanks Bob! very nice pictures as usual. Love the heron in flight.
Bob - gorgeous bird pics....love the little yellow leg, too!
OK guess I will not look at the tree frog :(
Look at Bob's pics, Glo- they are happy shots..
Great pictures, Bob.
OK, I just made my reservations and I am coming to the open house. I sure hope that Belle and Liberty decide to pay a visit when I am there! But even if they don't, we will all have a great time meeting each other in person!
Tree Frog is gone now. I promise to leave the photography up to Bob now.
KK Megan I will go do that.
Enjoy Deb N C T C is a place to see for sure and you will meet some special folks as well.
I have some very cheirshed memories form my trip there for sure.
Guess Atlanta is doing the best for baby Panda, and that's what matters. I hope that Lun Lun isn't too upset.
YAY Deb! That's awesome! Where are you flying into?
I am flying into Baltimore airport, then will stay in Martinsburg.
My house guest should be arriving soon. A friend's daughter is going to be staying here for the next 5 weeks. She will be taking classes in town for that time and it doesn't make sense for her to get an apartment or a dorm room. She will just be here Tues-Thurs nights.
Talk to you tomorrow!
Unbelievable, Bob...
I saw a SNOWY two years ago in a little marsh area in Jefferson County, WV, was VERY hard to get close to, had to "trespass" to do it but it was nice.
Good Evening All...Wish EVERYONE on here could be at the Open House, and Chrissy and Geula too !
xo
I guess it wasn't exactly trespassing, just had to pull into someone's farm field to ooch closer to the marsh....it wasn't posted so I guess I didn't break any laws....
Just saw an update on the baby panda. They are giving the impression that this is not an unusual thing, but the panda cam will remain offline. Update at 10 or sooner if conditions warrant.
Great pics, Bob. Thank you for sharing them with us. We saw an osprey fishing at the lake this weekend, so beautiful. Saw a few herons too but couldn't get a good shot of them.
Ok, really going to bed this time. See ya'll tomorrow!!
AJC News update on Baby Panda
I am going to call it a night also. Pleasant dreams. Prayers for the little panda cub. Light your candle for Mason.
Any volunteers to go to Atlanta and help bottle feed that little precious cub in the incubator?
OK, I just made my reservations and I am coming to the open house
