Good evening everyone. We went to the concert, sit for about 2 hours in the hot sun and then found out it would be about 8 before Billy Currington would be on, so we left! It was way too hot to be out in that sun on asphalt!
Anyway, I was surprised to see a new thread this late. I hate I missed tonight's visit! I love our eagles!

Yesterday I had a message that I was double blogging!?
I saw your comment on the other thread about the quick 'in & out' but I wasn't quick enough. We went to mass & then ate my classic pizza at Uno's before coming home. Made some phone calls to check on family-Catonsville girls has wisdom teeth extracted today & then tonight the guys left them to their misery (& pain killers) and went to the Raven's Game.
Sharon That's a bummer about not seeing who you wanted to see - they usually have the other bands first - you know The Best till Last. Hope the kids weren't as disappointed as you and Thelma were!
Hey ya'll. I missed the eagles today too. I signed on last night for a minute and lost the signal. Sitting by the camp fire now, blogging. How cool is that.
LOve seeing our couple. I am watching the Orioles, Ravens, Redskins games, the Olympics, the food network and blogging. Don't you just love remotes.
Mits, the blog has been telling me that most of the last year ... alway the first comment after signing on. Then I immediately reenter my password, and it opens up like it should have in the first time.
Fortunately I have a short password, so that paricular screw up doesn't bother me much.
But it's the one that eats my lengthy, but always brilliant, comment, and then tells me there's been a duplicate action or that I should try again later that really gets my dander up.

Howdy Hey Everyone...You shoulda seen me driving all over Charles Town trying to match "perfect sky" with Flat Horizon...finally found a place on Old Kave Rd, which was just barely adequate, did see one of the four Low West planets, figure it was probably Venus...but cannot really tell without another one to compare it to, so it mighta been Mars..Either way, with Jupiter half way around to the East, it was at least a TWO PLANET night. Also saw that old Corn Moon rise overtop the mountains, now that was breathtaking..
Truly, I am just plain old thankful for sky...
Got the TV on...want to see Phelps.

Downtown Martinsburg was a "Mini-Sturgis" tonight....motorcycles all over...parts of Queen Street were closed off, and bikes were parked all over King Street and down Queen Street in front of Saint Joseph's church...not sure, but I think, probably some sort of fund-raising event....

I'm sorry, that's "lots" has been raised. Don't know what a LOAT is...not yet anyway...
Site says Mason is going to have a shunt placed, to help drain fluid from the brain...if this helps relieve pressure, and there are no setbacks, and "everything else being equal" he might make it out of "Critical Care" soon....
I forgot to mention: I saw my first Hummingbird Moth today...those cats are cool!

Good for Dara Torres, too, she's a beautiful woman, at 41 - the oldest woman swimmer, has a 2 year old daughter...She won at least two silvers...
I haven't been able to watch too much of the games, but have been able to see Michael Phelps the last few nights..

Well, I've tried that and although it seems the message are sending, (I send them back to myself) I never see them! So for now, I save them to the Kodak program, then email off that..it's kinda cumbersome...
Power just shut down here! Had to start everything up all over again.
