All kinds of things flying around in the sky at Finney's - birds? dust? I saw on the Puleson site the same thing a few days ago...bunches of birds, which they thought were a combination of ospreys and ravens- (Now that I say about the things in the sky, it clears up....duh...what else is new...?)
MORNIN' PAULA!!----Lots of phone calls from MARLEY (3 yr)---Mon. day school at her church starts!---Keeps calling to see if my bunnies are still here---will they be here next time!---ho!----(She is a little magpie)---School time always makes me sad---I always wish I were going back--LOVED SCHOOL!!---- ho!
Also, on the Frodo Forum, I found an interesting link by one of the Dutch viewers to her personal blog, which has a lot of info and pictures on Peregrines in general and on the Australian ones.
Check it out, it's right under my link to the "first" picture of Frieda.
Well, Norma, I always learned a lot in school, and I guess you could say I liked it once I got into about the 5th-6th grade.
But don't forget I lived within sight of the surf at Torrey Pines Park just south of Del Mar, and we had beautiful sandstone cliffs and hills to climb and hike.
So, I always really hated leaving that beautiful, natural life to go to school in the Fall, but I would begin to get used to it again in a week or two.
Morning all! Beautiful day here in the Eastern Panhandle! Good Buddy news...even tho' a little graphic about the rat! Ugh.... Our nest looks like it has more junk in it! WHAT are these adults doing???
My Germany gals are getting some company from MD today! An Aunt & her cousin are going to be visiting for a week. She is going to be the first to HOLD THAT BABY ELIZABETH! She was cooing the other day on the cam! Loved it!
Perhaps the 'rat report' was a little gross, Hedgie; but it's a very important piece of news that Buddy can now use his crooked beak to eat whole prey.
That's a very important milestone, but I just wish they would hurry up the straightening process ... reinstalling that plastic alignment device.
If they would get the process moving at a faster rate, I think Buddy could be released.
Bless you and Thank you Lynn! Any word from home is so uplifting for them. Didn't hear back yet from my 2 sources about the Music selection. I'll let you know.
Now I have Sat afternoon panda nap scheduled - and yes I loved seeing ZZ climb all over her cake!
Just heard from friend in FL and they are batting down the hatches - meaning it's time for the shutters to go up! Fay just may be visiting them!
So glad I don't have to worry about my mom and the 'canes anymore! That was the biggest reason she/we decided that 2005 was the time for her to move. After three in '04, it was just TOO worrisome. Hope Fay fizzles!
I hope we start seeing more of them. Do wish the babies would visit a few more times before they move out. I would love to see all 3 of them together to see if we can tell them apart!
I am just home for a bit to feed the dogs, then I am off to Jane's campsite for a BBQ. Quiet day, they are growing up so fast. Flying and soaring over our heads. We did have quite a few new visitors, so did lots of informative talks.

Good Morning all of you here at Eagleland - Sun is shinning - I am alive to enjoy the day so all is well with me!
Thanks for the current news on Buddy

Hi Hedgie! The adults will bring in branches/leaves to make new flooring.
You know we call it "nestorations".
Lynn, I think the couple had a party last night. Thelma saw them sleeping in the nest at 5a.m.
My Germany gals are getting some company from MD today! An Aunt & her cousin are going to be visiting for a week. She is going to be the first to HOLD THAT BABY ELIZABETH! She was cooing the other day on the cam! Loved it!
It is so wonderful to turn the computer on in the morning and have Lib & Bells sitting there, as if to say, "Where have you been".

Wanda - I'll go with your explanation as to the condition of the nest! lol WHoo Hoo!
Good Morning Jim!
Hearing you GGdaughter coo must have brought tears to your eyes. I t does me and I don't even know her.
Jo, I guess they have to get in practice again. They were so busy with the babies, they may have forgotten they have to have a love life.
Miss Norma was #200 today...no more facials, but I have replaced that blog with a new one: JUST FOR FUN. She is first on the list. Check her out.
I like Just For Fun! Great Idea!
Bai and ZZ are sitting side-by-side eating the morning bamboo....

Wild Watch Osprey Nest
The 2 chicks are really grown!
There is an unhatched egg still in
the nest. I remember when we couldn't even tell if there were chicks in that nest!
JIM Look at Frodocam in the
upper left hand corner. You think it is just a shadow...?
Now, ZZ is climbing up on Bai's back and trying to rassle her into ... well, at least playing with her.

Jim
ZZ is rolling all over the place - I see what you mean Jim - trying to get MOM off of the bamboo is going to be a difficult task!
Mema Jo, I saw the whole thing in shadow earlier.
There's a bright moon tomorrow night, and the camera equipment is casting a dark shadow.
I don't know if that round part is a satellite disk, or what.

Jim
It's actually early tomorrow morning down under, but I liked the sound of the other phrase.

I had not seen the video of ZZ on top of the birthday cake. Soooo cute.
Off to eat - I guess you would call it Brunch!
BBL
Jim, I know that it is good news that Buddy is able to tear apart the food! I wonder how long before they attempt to re-apply the device?
I just got to watch ZZ birthday video. So funny. She really enjoyed climbing on her cake.
Well, I've got to take care of business, folks.
Have a fun Saturday. Talk to you later.

Jo, I bet that was fun hearing the baby coo! Too bad you aren't going on the trip, too. I sent letters to the boys in today's mail!
Bless you and Thank you Lynn!

Wanda, what a great pic of Norma and her man!!!
We have a visitor!!
Sitting right smack dab in the middle of the nest...looking left, right, left
I see who you mean. Lib, the visitor...thought you ment your company had arrived.
I think it's Liberty
I do believe he is looking for Belle. How beautiful he is...never get tired of looking at our beauties.
Wonder what he is looking at?
Do you think he's wondering where the kids went?
Or is he glad to be able to eat a meal in peace :)
Glad you are here to see it too Wanda. It's always nice to share!
Oh, he is gone! Thanks for stopping by Lib
Ooooh, caught the last 30-seconds of that Beauty....
I hope we start seeing more of them. Do wish the babies would visit a few more times before they move out. I would love to see all 3 of them together to see if we can tell them apart!
