Sounds like a lot of commotion in the background. I hope the others are not coaxing Tiny to fledge. He is still sitting there.
No DANA. Josh moved out of there early May. He is staying with us again until he gets married in early October. His bride to be lives near here and both are trying to make a little money waiting tables for the summer. Meanwhile they will both be looking for jobs in Greenville, NC. and will be living there after they are married.

DANA I can't hear anything now either, but TINY is off the launch pad position
My live feed is still counting down, but can't see anything except black and grey lines. The still cam picks us every once in awhile, but not often.

Looks like parent is in nest so that moves him away from the launch pad. Nope he is back at launch pad maybe with food.
I am doing that mental thingy from me to Tiny #3 "don't leave the nest just yet people are coming to see you fledge wait!!!!".
I see he is back. Today will be the day I bet. Just hope everyone gets there in time to see it.
I will also do the mental thiny with you DANA. Maybe if a few of us get Tiny the message, he will stay put. Now I am getting a very nice pic of the nest; but not live.

Back from coffee and dog treats. Nice to see some bloggers blogging even if we aren't real happy with the cams. Misery loves company and we can all complain and hope together now.

Yes Lolly I made comments earlier. Yesterday 1st chick got in water. Great swimmer right away. Later rode on Dads back. While Mom stayed in nest with other chick.
This morning Mom kept getting in and out of nest. Finally the 2nd chick followed her into water.
Don;'t feel bad Lolly. I missed this morning's launch too.
Yes, I saw the first one riding on its Dads back. Then I saw the second one in the nest. It was really interesting to watch. Just read Larry's log for today. He is such a good writer. He should write a book.
The two chicks already had their fight Lolly that Larry talked about on his blog. They were really battling it out as they rode on parents back. Then also when they went off parents back into water. I figure #1 chick won out.
Keep watching they swim back sometimes in the water other times on parents back.
I don't know if he's ready yet, but No. 3 is standing on the take-off pad and looking like he's thinking about it.

GOOD MORNING JIM. Tiny has been in that spot for awhile now and we are all sending him mental thingy's (Dana started it, Dana started it. :)) to keep him on the nest until the eagle watchers arrive at the nest.
Has anyone seen any wing flapping going on. I haven't yet. Maybe that is a good thing.

Well, Jim, if you are helping him stay on, maybe I can rest my brain for a while! I am starting to see things! LOL
Well my guess is this is a big day for the NCTC cam. It will get lots of hits from folks who have been working all week, wanting to see the last fledge. Momsters who want to see and hear their friends excitement at the tree etc.
It is a shame the feed is not coming on
We'll have to get Suzanne her own laptop so she can do blog again, at least on the weekends or on her own time during the week.

Just spoke with Suzanne they are loading most are on there Vicky did get there to load on the Eagle Express. They know Jo will meet them at the nest. Norma is on the Eagle Express ( :
She has a computer at home Jum but feels so exhausted evenigns and weekends she has not hooked it up. Said she would essentially be paying for the hook up to sleep.
Norma, I know you are not on now, but maybe you will see this later. I want you to know I am having homemade coffee cake with a side of sausage while you are at the nest. LOL
That beeping you just heard was not a phone. It is something backing up. Don't know if it is Eagle Express that soon or not.
Lolly, yours sounds better than mine; scrambled eggs and bacon with coffee.:)
Glo it is awlful hard to stay #1 on the webcam watch. When our webcam is black :(
Dana do you think you could ask them to give us a warning before they back the eagle express up...I could try to record the sound for us to keep. I just need a 5 min warning etc and will sit to hit record if I know when.
DUH guess Sharon could do that right there at the nestsite and have it to keep and share.

If they sit out on this road area well its further drive wise and a little further as the crow flies but view is better.
I am terrible with distances and have only been there once myself. I could walk from Day Care briskly in 5 mins though but nest view not too good from there

Lolly, one could walk up right under, as there is nothing but open field, but they stay back at least a couple hundred feet or more so as not to scare them.
While we wait. I took my first load the other day of my plastic bottles to the recycle place and cans. Really feel good about recycling plastic.

Isn't it cute?! I watched yesterday and a couple of time I was sitting here gripping the arms of the chair, saying "get that baby", as it slid off their backs! LOL
Being a MOM too, I can understand that. I guess they can make it on their own for awhile from what I have been reading on here.
