I took Dexter down to walk at the Marina this morning and discovered road is closed to the docking areas, many of the park areas are all under water. Even trying to walk the jog trail is underwater and the Crest right now is scheduled for Sat although we have major weather in the forecast again tomorrow . They are now saying this years flooding has potentioal to be worse than the record floods of 93. So yep I know about the storms . Gone from Snow in the Midwest for winter to rain deluge for spring.

Have not heard from Chrissy today. Did get two wonderful emails yesterday. I do love reading her emails and she sounded great. Supposed to see doctors today, I think, so I will inquire.

I had an email from Chrissy today - she was expressing her concerns and prayers about SSG McCoy's passing.
I responded and inquired about how she was feeling & if Frank was doing better - no response yet. Lolly, I love Chrissy's emails also!
We will fledge no eaglet before its time!

We still seem to be having problems with the mainland computer internet connection, although the provider says there is no problem. I'm going to leave SR off for the rest of the day so that all the available bandwidth is used for the WE nest. We are leaving soon and should be out there between 2 and 3.
Dr. Sharpe & team should be at WE between 2 and 3 PM! (CA TIME)
Around our dinner time - 5-6:00 PM

I got an e-mail from Chrissy. Her blood work was okay--too many cough drops caused the elevated glucose. She had a chest x-ray and goes for breathing tests later in the week. Frank at home, doing much better but not allowed back to work yet.

Parent just came into WE with food eaglet took it right from parent and goobled it right down. Other eaglet didn't have a chance.
OH NO Crow is after eaglet at WE
Dad with tag on wing just flew after crow. Now parent is in nest. Crow flew by nest and parent squawked.
This crow is not giving up. Before this is chased Wray (f) out of nest.
It just grabbed twice one of the eaglets with it claws.

Those are raven attacks at the WE nest. Neokast up and working again.

Tiny is full now and quite content with life at Home...all is well.
Paula, my 30 sec cam is frozen, I can see feeding eaglet on the live feed when it clears.
Boy, those ravens could do some damage afterall!! 01 has shown up now, but it sounds like a raven might be perched on the camera equipment.
Anyway, the ravens kept dive bombing the eaglets until they got so tired they could barely turn around, and then I believe they got in a couple of pecks on the younger one. They could probably kill the eaglets in that way, which answers some of the questions on the IWS blog recently.

Dr. Sharpie is going to have to check out those two eaglets. The one almost rolled over from one attack.
Forgotten for the moment, but earlier, with no warning, Explorer decided it had encountered a problem and had to shut down!
It's been acting better since the crash a month ago, but I think I might be trying FireFox again soon.

The male Eagle just took off after the one raven on the cam.
20 sec. cam still frozen but live feed is in and out--Tiny resting below cam.
By the time Dr. Sharpe and the crew finish banding the eaglets today, they will have had a real, terror-filled day today!!
Probably not the best day for banding.

Those voices may be people on boats....sound really carries over the water. We used to see lots of boats going around that area last year
