Well, I was out for a while this evening but just reviewed back through the RP and saw my Baby Littley in the nest!! THREE SUCCESSFUL FLEDGES AGAIN! YEAH RAH!
I don't care, I'm keeping my wrinkles, I ain't covering my face with bird poo and I'm certainly not paying for the experience.

Ladies I received my first Eagle Facial....The experience was wonderful..The music that played was "Fly Like An Eagle"..your eyes are close and you see Pearl, Middy and Tiny soaring through the breezy air. Meeting up with Liberty and Belle for more instructions. The smell is called "Gentle Breeze" it is a fragance like your clothes were hung out on the line to dry. Your skin is softner and shiny.
Will be trying for my 2nd Eagle Facial you have 10 days to use it but I couldn't wait. I used it right away. Ta Ta

Has anyone seen the Heron Cam tonight? I only see two. We might have Spidey, but they have "Leafy" - maybe one of the heronettes broke a branch and lowered those leaves. Think I missed most everyone tonight getting on this late. Worked a 12-hour shift, better dayshift than night shift I guess. Sure missed a lot of action today, but everyone described things so well, I almost felt I was "there."

When the leaves are in front of the cam at the heron nest, I think it is because there is a heron in the tree! I was watching the Twins, they are ahead 10-2.

There are magpies in SD! Did you know the first magpie was seen by Lewis and Clark in SD? I have a picture of one from when I was in the Badlands. I will have to find it.
Okey-dokey MITS - I know she described it on a prior blog but doubt if I'll find it...So Glad she is able to hook up from where she is..wouldn't want HER to suffer from Separation Anxiety...not just from the Eagles, but from us Crazies!

Almost bedtime...Have spent this day with my Mom. She had another set of injections into her lumbar #3 and she said that this set was quite painful. She said she could feel the sensation all the way down into her leg and then it spasamed. She is fine now that she is full of Crab Legs. LOL
Just read my email. Heard from Chrissy. They continue to mend. She did say this........

Just saw Deb's Great videos! That must have been Pearl scrambling to cover the food when Tiny came in. Good for Tiny--nice landing except the wing hug wasn't one at all!! Instead of little Pecking Pearl, she is Piggy Pearl! Guess that's why she's the largest!!

Well, good morning already again, Everyone. I can say that I saw one eaglet for sure, maybe two, one at the launch pad for a minute, and then some wing flaps and hop-ups. So, hop-ups makes me think, Tiny, but I can't say for sure. Still watching...They woke up before I did that's for sure.

It's very hard to see...I think feathered friend just left the nest from the launch pad, think I see an empty nest...trying to adjust my eyeballs to the rolling picture..
I heard some very pesky sounding birds, maybe ravens, at Loch of the Lowe's in Scotland Osprey nest overnight...parent very watchful and alert and kept baby tucked under her protectively...things seem a lot more peaceful now.
My last reference is to the single chick nest in Scotland...meal-time there now, so it must be peaceful.
And I am pretty sure OUR nest is empty.
Two chicks and a train in Harrisburg. Have you noticed the waving American Flag on the cam view that has the clock tower?

I stepped outside to put water in the bird bath and check out the garden and it is sooo muggy. Think I'll find something to do indoors today. It is suppose to storm sometime today...don't know when, but our garden can use the rain. We have green beans about an inch long and my snow & sugar snap peas are needing to be picked (We caught the groundhog that has been eating them).

MAGPIE---I have been watching the PA PEREGRINE FALCONS----Yesterday am--I thought the last 2 might have fledged---couldn't see anyone!!----Hard to see on that cam!!---
PA FALCONS----Read 2 chicks & the FALCON PARENTS are in the area-- on top of new bldg!--church steeple, etc.----cam doesn't cover the ledge well at all!---hard to see them if they are not sitting directly on the ledge or pole!!
