«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 233 of 233Well that's good! It has been a very dry year, and we do need all the moisture we can get, that's for sure! Drought's all over the States. And we didn't get much snow here last year, so we didn't get much moisture in the winter. I hope the rains do help, but hope they come down nice and steady, where the ground can soak it up!
Well, I should get to bed .. instead of sleeping in my chair.
Try reading the "Nest Observations" at IWS. They had 19 pgs. yesterday instead of the 1 or 2 they've had lately.
I don't believe they've posted anything at the zoo about ZZ this week yet, but last weeks posts have some interesting material.

Megan, you mentioned the other day about giving the birds fruit; apples, bananas and oranges. How do you put them out for them? Just cut them and put them on the ground? Or do you have a feeder that you put the friut in?

Deer keeps watching over to the right on the cam. Wonder what she hears?
Oh, she heard or saw another deer. 2 doe on cam now.
Both have been eating together, slowly inching closer to cam. One is right in front of cam now, other one not far. Beautiful to watch.

Well, Tai is up and chewing bamboo.
He's so funny. He put the bamboo down, walked around and now he's in his "pools." Went into the little one, or one in front, now he's laying down in the other one. Surely he can't be hot!
As I said that, he got out of the one and is now back in the other. Feet hanging in the water. Oh, no back to the other one. Well darn now he left.
I just went back over comments and it was AFTER HOURS when the site shut down. So, you are probably right; when the crew comes into work, they will work on it.
There was also a question about whether or not we had another stranger in our nest. I looked at the photos on Momsters Album, and I thought something didn't look right. But Steve said they thought it was our pair. What do you think?

I don't know, Wanda, look like Lib and Belle to me. Belle is in one she has her feathers all fluffed, and in another she has her foot up and curled, but they look like our kids. Which time exactly are you talking about, which pic?

Oh, that's the one she has her left talon curled up and she's fluffed out. Still looks like Belle though. She's probably cold, bless her heart! 4:24:48.

Our Precious little girl and her mommie are out and about in the hallway. Oh, no, Bai just grabbed Squigs in her mouth and pulled her right back in! That was too funny!!
Eagle in BWO. Didn't see Bai come out, but she is trying to move the bamboo carpet into the den with her and Precious! Looks like she's got it about half way there.
And the BWO eagle just took off.

Bai must be doing her throw the bamboo thing, and Precious is sneaking back out into the hallway. Oh, no, here comes and there goes Bai. Squigs is still in the hall. Alright, Bai is gonna do the bamboo thing in the hall with ZZBear. And there goes Bai into the other den, squigs is thinking about going in too.
