Dana, glad you enjoyed the pics. Some are good, some not so good, but it was nice to see them both there this morning. They were both moving that big Y branch you see on the cam. Neat to watch. But yeah, wonder if it will stay there????

I think that Y Branch sort of looks like a wishbone...anyway it will be pretty easy for us to keep track of its location...:) I really like it. Would love to have watched them getting it up to the nest...must have been awesome.

Glo, didn't see them bring that branch in, but I did send a pic of them right after I think Belle brought it in, 0728. Lib looks like he's saying what the heck is that?? Then at 0729, both of them moving it. Kinda cool. But yes, it would have been neat watching her flying in with that thing!

Hi Vicky. He was at the Open House last year, that's where we all met him. He also signed some of our tote bags, with his pics on them. Very nice person. I would imagine he would be there again this year.

Is anybody getting a decent pic of Frieda and Dolly? Mine has gone from bad to worse as soon as it went to B&W this morning. It was beautiful when in color, then switched, and pic is getting fuzzier and fuzzier. Can't even hardly see them now. Frieda just sorta blends with the fuzzy rocks.

I've noticed the much dimmer picture in Aussieland also, and I think it's just that the bright floodlights from below have been turned off. So now all we are seeing is infra red image the cam can pick up. It could be a dark moon as well.
Does anyone know how to find the current phase of the moon? I thought I had seen it on the weather site, but now I can't find it.

Yes Paula I thought for awhile I was being a jinks for L & B. Cause it seem if I was watching they didn't come in. Suzanne said no way..made me feel better. Now I know I'm not....I really did get all excited I mean really seeing her/him.

I noticed that the baby Panda in San Diego was given its exam today...one day earlier than usual.
There's a short written report, but they haven't published an interview or a video yet..probably in the morning.

Good morning, world. Nice night out, rain sprinkles in spots, and a whole lot cooler than it has been! 60° when I left this morning, 59° here at work. And the wind is blowing here, so seems cooler.
We have a beautiful pic on our cam, but shhh, said that yesterday, and it got back on drugs.
SD didn't want to come up, but it's up now and Bai is sleeping, can't see Squiggles, so I guess Bai has her snuggled close.
F&F cam was in color for about 30 secs, not B&W, but man, Dolly sure has grown! And she's alone, just sitting there, not sleeping. But nice to see how much she's grown. Oops, head just went down to sleep, how cute was that.
Will try to glance back on blogs and see what I missed.
All have a great eagle/panda day. Oh, Bai just turned in her sleep and pushed Squiggles away from her! Squiggles is kicking her hind legs, but settling down. Don't think she even woke up. Not sure, she's moving around trying to get back close to mom. Ok, comfy now on tummy. No, maybe not. little Squiggles is living up to her name, just squiggling...

Squiggles moved around so much that mom finally moved up next to her, so now they're touching and both sleeping. Too cute.
Just went and looked at the pics in the album from yesterday. You guys got a lot of good pics yesterday afternoon and evening. I had to laugh, seems Belle does not like that Y branch where guess Lib put it! After all these years, Lib should know Belle's the decorator, and the poor guy doesn't stand a chance on rearranging the furniture. It's gonna end up whereever Belle wants it! Gotta give him credit, he sure tries, though. Too funny!!!
Bai has Squiggles up by her head now, and both sleeping.

Somebody must be working late in Brisbane, they have pulled the cam vie back, and parent is on the edge of the ledge, chick is up by the corner..just moved her head. it's after 7 there. Chick just moved again, think getting ready to go to sleep. Parent is watching her.
Well our little Squiggles is sleeping alone, as is fuzzy Dolly. Both BW and our nest MT. (Whispering...our cam is still a good pic, hope it stays that way.)
This is for our Belle, who did make an appearance this past weekend.

Here comes mom..picked up Squiggles to either hold or nurse. No, we're gonna play roll the Squiggles first, but don't think Squiggles woke up, so Bai's just holding her. Too funny, Bai just sorta rolled onto her side like she does and went back to sleep. She's holding Squigs tightly up by her head, too cute.
Forgot, our parent falcon took off, and fuzzy Dolly is still alone, but sleeping.

I just read the report on Squiggles exam yesterday. They say they are surprized she has gotten so round...well DUH! Bai feeds her so often, she has nowhere to go but "round". Look at the exam pic when you get a chance. S0000 cute; check out those blue eyes.
LOLO, morning, Wanda. Yes, I saw that. Pic is just too cute, and you're right...DUH. Little Squiggles eats all the time, but she doesn't eat every time Bai wants to feed her! Just think how round she'd be then... But I am so very glad she's healthy, and cute as a button!
Did you read about her exam last week.........she yelled her head off and they had to take her back to Mom. She is quite a character. I think we are going to enjoy watching her for a long time.

My shop is not very busy yet, but that is normal for this time of the month. Business did pick up after Gene put our sign out on the highway. We don't get really busy until the last week before Halloween, then it gets crazy. We only have 2 dressing rooms and customers wait in line to try on their costumes. The shop is too small (14 X 36). Thinking of adding on to it. Building materials are very expensive.
