Was enjoying a treeful of songbirds when the grackles showed up.
I have brought in my squirrel-proof feeders so I can clean them. The website says they can be made grackle-proof, too, by removing the perches. I think I'm going to have to try that.
I see that too SHIRLEY. Thank you for the capture.
PAULA I am tempted to say KAY and LORI on the Lib name choice. Several others agreed.
I am supposed to drink half of my weight in liquids when I start the cleanse for the 2nd of April. I had no idea how much I weighed as I do not bother with such things...so off to the doctor I went to get weighed. She let me know I lost 45 pounds from when she first started to see me four years ago!!! Well she apparently weighed me when she did a physical then. Still have to drink an awful lot of liquids in April. I expect I will need to have a portable toilet!!!LOL!!!
Aha, I return from napping and a nice long walk with the pooch to find a nice new thread--thanks STEVE ! And thanks to JIM for the call over !
And, glory be ! Thanks to Belle and Shep for a successful hatch ! Love the pics PAULA !
JO, I suggested using Prez, Lib and Capt. if we have 3 viable eggs. As JO points out the 1st and 3rd eggs appeared on important dates. That left the "middle child" in need of a name. My thought was that we could honor Liberty for he figured heavily in the history of this nest and in the month of February as well. I feel that Prez, Lib and Capt. are gender neutral in this day and age. The day I suggested that it received unanimous approval here and so for some of us those names stuck.
I, too feel we can't really name them til' we know how many eaglets we have to name. And, my feeling is that ranking the names in order of importance would be Capt., Prez, and Lib as HODA also suggested.
Hoda - I just recently saw a commercial for a Patch for your stomach area that guarantees more bladder control. Maybe I should send you a couple packs of them! lol
You will do just fine ! So how much do you weigh - ?? You are so active and agile that your weight doesn't seem to be a problem with any of your activities. Here's to the cleansing in April ♥
Health wise - aren't we told to drink 9-9 glasses of water daily. So if I weigh 150 lbs and half of that is 75 (oz) which would be 9 - 8oz glasses plus a little sip... Right..
Oh my goodness HODA, have you figured out how many glasses of liquid constitute half your weight ? You are literally going to float ! Lay in a supply of Depends and be sure you know where every clean public restroom is along your usual path !
LORI, thanks for the prayers for Shirley her son, Gary. History is, a seemingly healthy and athletic man of 51 began to have a series of heart attacks. Now 54, the doctors at Baylor Grapevine said his heart is 3/4 dead---the reason he no longer feels the pain, just collapses. They said he needs a heart transplant, but had him transferred to Baylor Dallas after the last attack a week or so ago. There he is undergoing another complete battery of tests. A couple of days ago they detected a blood clot that turned out to be rather large. They went in, removed all they could get of it and put under sedation in Critical Care for "24 to 36 hours". Early this a.m. they went back in due to internal bleeding. Another reminder re:Shirley aka Job. Her eldest of three, Diana, died in Dec. of 2012, due to lung cancer. Shirley feels like she's falling apart and is in great despair. She believes in prayer and thanks all of you for remembering her and Gary.
Through a 24 hour Period SHIRLEY. Soup, Juice, Green drinks Smoothies...
Ten 8 ounce glasses JO. No my weight is not a problem and OI feel rather healthy. She tells me muscle weighs more than fat, yet I also recognize fat on me. I will do alright...
LOL No to the patches...I am supposed to be flushing my kidneys so getting rid of the water is a good thing...flush liver, kidneys adrenals and digestive track for the month of April...Two weeks intensive and the rest of the month maintain. Repeat in October...
Thanks for doing the math, JO ! I guess that's how the 8 glasses a day adage came about. "They" now say that all liquids taken in daily--coffee, tea, etc.--soups and that contained in the fruits and veggies we eat are to be taken into account when calculating 8 glasses per day. I won't take in caffeine after noon and curb my liquids beginning at about 5pm. I'm sure I don't get enough liquid twixt 7 a.m and 5 p.m.. Yep, I'd be up all night and like JO, with eyeballs floating !!!
I'm going to fix a salad for dinner--quite a bit of liquid in those ingredients. Then to my PBS Friday night line up---coming back here to peek in on Belle, Shep and hatchling #1. BBL
Exciting to see two eagle hatches this afternoon. I see a pip? In a second egg in our nest as some of you all do. The Pittsburgh nest hatch made the 6 o'clock news. I see that almost 11,000 people are watching that cam.
Thanks, Jo I got a pic of the still cam, but really don't know if it got into the album or not... have not navigated there for quite some time :( maybe I'll figure it out
Working on a bulletin board for school for Alcohol Awareness Month. Just finished making up a chart of what your virgin (non-slcoholic) drink name would be, you know, using the first letters of your first and last name. Now to put the names on all the plastic wine glasses. For some reason Nursing School billboards must include the names of every student. I have no idea why.
I didn't know about the eaglet name of Lib, but think it's a great idea. A wonderful tribute, along with Captain. We know these two can handle two eaglets, think they're ready for three?
HODA, I'm fascinated with your flush! Heavens - you lost 45 pounds . . you've always looked so thin to me. I admire your dedication to health.
JUDYE, why are you using Angie's sign in? Hope your computer is okay.
I'm yawning. Guess it's time to hit the hay. Hope the Sandman comes this way first.
We had 2 clients have pets get bitten by a raccoon this week. It tested positive for rabies. One of the people feeds a bunch of ferals. Animal control now has to come and trap and euthanize them. Very sad.
PAULA Way to go!!! So very pleased for you and very very very proud of you... Glad LARRY is eating well and prayers continue for radiation that starts Tuesday.
Pouring rain here today bouncing off the lake. Very pretty.
I quit a week after Larry quit...but I was cheating . It took me awhile to realize I couldn't have even a couple a day. It like being an alcoholic ..you can't have any...if you truly want to quit...you have to give it up entirely .
So very true PAULA!!! I smoked when I lived up North because it was the thing to do to socialize! Stupidest thing I ever did I might add!!!Talk about peer pressure! Anyway I bet that I could quit and so long as it was about someone else and wanting to prove them wrong it was not about me. I smoked a cigarette lost the bet and quit cold turkey! That was in 1975 I believe...Have not touched it since!!!
PAULA, so pleased to hear about the smoking cessation ! I know it's difficult, but the health benefits will trump the habit !
I kept coming back for a peek at the nest. The fish still lie where they were, so I guess Belle's self storage was sufficient for her needs. She'll be able to snack as she feeds the little bobblehead in the morning. Anyone up at sunrise will probably get in on that first feeding ! The sound of wind is pretty strong there right now, but Belle looks comfy.
Looking forward to lots of watching time tomorrow. Will we have two little eaglets by this time tomorrow night ? Since another pip has been seen I wouldn't be surprised. This whole process never fails to amaze and bring joy, no matter how many years one has been viewing nests !
I think JUDIE dispatched the Sandman a while back and he's heerrree....
Love and prayers for all in need and for our dear Eagle family as well !
Having cat issues again. George comes and sits across my arm. He likes petting, but what he really wants is some more snacks. He would eat until he barfs if I let him.
Hi, Gang, I have been MIA again for a while because of a crazy schedule and some more work from the doctor who sends me reports to transcribe, but thought I'd better get on here and let you know that Ken and Emma and I are all OK. We have had a couple of earthquakes tonight--the first a little over an hour ago. It was a 3-something. I felt it, and Ken didn't. Then about 20 minutes ago, we had another one. That one was a "moderate" quake of 5.3. We felt that one, for sure. It went on for quite a while, and Emma was scared half to death! We don't have any damage that we can see, and we are OK. Keep having tiny little after-quakes. My Sis-in-law was in the car with Bro-in-law, and she thought she had a flat tire at first, then thought there was something wrong with the road. You know it's a moderate quake as opposed to a light one when you can feel it in the car while driving! It was centered somewhere near La Habra, CA, which is about 12 miles from this roost in Anaheim. Don't worry about us--the national news will probably sensationalize the whole thing, and I don't want anyone to be concerned for us. I'll keep you guys posted as the weekend goes on. I hear we have a bobblehead!!! Yippee!!! (Maybe another one soon, too?!) Fantastic! I ♥ us!!!
good late evening, almost early morning to all. just sat down. wheweeee! what a day!
it was supposed to rain, but never did. we lazed about for a bit. took scout and seven for their vaccines today...then home.
we spent a good bit of time moving branches out of the back yard and cutting up the remainder of the tree. we stacked a bunch of the wood to dry for use in the fire pit next year.
the grandkids came over. they are currently asleep. Chelsea and chris will be here in a bit to get them.
watched the eagles for a long time today. love this new computer. I can watch it without problem now! woo hoo!
hope everyone has SED tonight! exciting weekend! GN
Goodorming Shirley, Thelma, and all my eagle friends!
Thelma, great to see you on the blog!
Paula, you go girl!! Congrats on stopping smoking!!!
Meeting with the realtor this morning at 9am so she can take a look at the place. Since Mom only lived here for 2 years, I know we won’t break even on the sale (factoring in closing costs to buy and now to sell) but I hope the price she suggests will at least equal what Mom paid for the place plus the 2 major improvements she has made.
Have a great day all - rain in the forecast here in Elkridge for today AND tomorrow.
LORI I was at Angie when I posted and when I clicked on post it came up with Angie acct and I said either give me your password or I will log you out So she told me her # I also used her fb to post pic of Shep fan page PAULA fantastic you stopped smoking
I smoked for many years and stopped several years ago I think I told you the story Don't miss them at all
pick a little flugg here and pick a little there going on at the nest when I first came on was adjusting in the cup so there must have been a egg roll right when I got up and missed it
Happy day, our 1st eaglet looks hale n' hearty ! No one mentions having seen it, but it must have helped consume that portion of the long fish that has been devoured.
Good morning all. Didn't catch a glimpse of our hatchling yet today. Saw baby Pittsburgh a while ago. I smoked as a teen until my mid 20's then quit for 10 years and started again for another 10 years or so. I had to quit cold turkey and I think I could start again if it didn't kill you, very dirty habit and cost so much.
Time to shelter the little one. Glad I got a peek before Bell settled in again. Couldn't see the pip on the 2nd egg this time.
Hi Thelma ! So very happy to see you this morning ! Hope Buddy is responding to the TLC !
SANDI, good luck with the Realtor, it helps that's she's a friend, I'm sure.
ANDY, appreciate your earthquake report. My granddaughter, Lauren, lives within view of downtown L.A. and works at the L.A. County Museum of Art. I always worry about her when I hear of a quake--will talk to her Dad, my son, later today.
We're expecting rain and snow showers today. Hope they won't move southeast toward the nest ! 39° now and it won't get much warmer than that.
Seth won't be with me this weekend. He is home, but they are hosting an out of town guest and he, wants to be in on all that happens there. I don't mind a bit, of course.
Quite a few ex-smokers here and I'm proud of y'all ! Very supportive of any current smokers who wish to quit. I don't think I've ever met a smoker who didn't rue the day they began to smoke and who didn't want to kick the habit.
************************************* Shirley - in my junk mail I have an email from you at ShirleyPhillips@yahoo.com but I am not going to open it as it only contains a link ........ I see the names of about 30 people that are probably your addresses. Has anyone else mentioned this - like Kay or JudyE
Someone at the Eagle Cam said it looked like 2 heads bobbling in our nest. We need to check this out pronto. I am going to FB and see if there are any comments or pics.... ♥ Only one from all reports
JO, I haven't received that mailing from SHIRLEY's out box today, but both HODA and I have in the past. SHIRLEY can speak for herself, but she knows about bogus use of that e-mail address and she can't get rid of the pesky demon.
JO, I was watching the little one from about 8 to 8:20, very active and cute, but all alone with two egg buddies. I tried, but could not see a pip on either of them--many were sure there was one yesterday so I'm assuming that egg was just turned wrong this morning.
That video shows the aftermath of the first feeding. I saw that action as Belle settled back down on the cup, the eaglet and two eggs. The feeding had to have occurred before 8 a.m., when I tuned in. Doesn't the eagle look terrific ?
Great ! I had to leave for a few and missed it, but now I know what all that parental fidgeting was about ! How thrilling ! Now we must hold out hope for egg #3 within the next two or three days, eh ?
I always share with the Eagle Peeps FB group and put it on our Eaglet Momster page. Your pic was marked Public and everyone can see it. Debi on the Eagle Cam FB page got a good pic also.
Good morning! Sitting here reading the paper and drinking my coffee. Have the cam up, full screen. Saw Belle get up for a feeding and was thrilled to see two bobble heads!!! Awesome! Now, we just need the third!!!
Today is sunny but not supposed to get as warm as yesterday. Lots of storms yesterday but missed us. We had a sprinkling.
Andy, good to see you! Sorry about the shake rattle and roll. Never felt a one while out there. They were all south of us.
Love seeing the fish in the nest. Never will forget one time when Lib, and I do mean Lib, had the nest plastered with a smorgasbord of meals, including a rabbit.
OMG, I see we have 2 babes now. I had lost track of their hatching date. Family Friday was fun...with all the kids and grandkids around, it just fills my heart. They are leaving tomorrow for OBX tomorrow, oh how I will miss them! We have a lot going on at church next week, so that will keep me busy and I'm always happy around my church family. Karla and I took GG to get her do done then went to the newly opened Golden Corral. First she has been to a restaurant in a long while. She enjoyed the food and wants to go again :) Back to taxes...YUCK!
Hi Wanda - happy report about your Friday shindigs! One of these days you must pack up and head for the OBX with the family. Good luck with your taxes - we made out ok - didn't owe ♥
Now I know where Jufie went last night. Sandperson was totally relaxed. Thank you Lynne2. How is Jufie going to get back from Russia after "offing" Putin?
Congratulations Paula. Very happy Larry has an appetite.
Sorry about the earthquake, Andy. It was discussed on Phoebe's blog. She has two little hummers this morning.
Isla should return to Loch of Lowes - first expected arrival date tomorrow.
Wanda, so happy Family Friday was so nice. Glad Miss GG had a night out and enjoyed her dinner.
Lori, good luck on the billboard. Get some rest this weekend.
Headed back to watch the nest. Also need to finish a final library book due by Monday. Good day - raining.
Hello, hello, Eaglebuds! Congrats on our hatch. I just missed it. Went out to dinner w/daughter last night and then SIL arrived at airport. Gotta do some nest watching! ☺
Buddy is responding Kay. He got better so quick after we made those changes and added the chicken and rice. He will sure miss that. : ) I don't know what I would have done if he would of had the C word. Of course we keep praying for Ellie Mae, bless her heart. Positive thoughts.
Hi all - great news about eaglet #2 - thx for all the pics on FB and sent to my email.
Well, a contract has been signed, a lock box is on the door, and the condo is officially on the market. We will be heading to Madeline’s skating show this afternoon and out to dinner with Lisa and family after that.
Tomorrow, we will make a run to Goodwill to drop off an upholstered living room chair and a computer chair that the realtor suggested we get rid of.
I have made a pile of valuable things that I don’t want left here now that strangers will be coming through the condo. Either Lisa will take them to her house or I’ll take them home tomorrow.
THELMA, happy with the Buddy progress report ! I include Petsters in my daily prayers for they are important family members. I love looking at Buddy via your avatar.
SANDI, great progress report from you. You are wise to work on all the details so quickly. Here's hoping the condo sells very quickly.
LORETTA, enjoy your precious company ! The bobbleheads will be there for a while so there's plenty of time for nest watching.
Granddaughter Lauren wrote to say she was in a movie theater and never felt a thing last night. The St. Pat's Day quake shook her out of bed. She says the hope is these small quakes are relieving pressure and delaying "the big one". She also says "they are exciting"---that age 23 for ya !
Ah, feeding time just ending and Belle settling down over the cup again. Even one day makes a difference, the larger/older chick was a more eager eater then the younger. Maybe they'll help keep that last egg warm and jostled so that we get a third eaglet in a couple of days.
we are in sever weather warning It is pouring big time comes in waves and it was in the forecast for today so was expected show customers and some peeps don't pay attention nothing but complaining about the rain Clueless I guess or don't watch or listen to the news
OK GUYS those of you that took snip and pic need to put in EM album I just notice that they aren't in there I put the one I just did from still cam at 222 feeding
1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 egg. Mix. Spoon tsp size onto non-greased baking sheet, press with fork tines, sprinkle with kosher salt. Bake 350º ~8 minutes. Will be soft. Let set a minute then move to cooling rack.
My version of creme pies Jo and Margy use to celebrate eaglets.
Afternoon all and happy second bobblehead day! Really hope that third one comes tomorrow....
The only way Jufie can return is for Shirkey to rescue her. (insert evil chuckle here)
Wanda, glad you had a fun FFN! I know it will never be the same without Gene but what a blessing you you have in the family you raised together!
Andy, glad no harm done during the quake but what a typical Californian to say it wasn't too bad...LOL! We've had a quake here and I about peed myself!
SHIRLEY, if you try JUDIE's p-nut butter cookies using Splenda, let me know what you think. I don't even want to get the p-nut butter jar out around Penny, so will have to bake them some evening after she retires for the night. ☺
Will do, Kay. I haven't made any decision yet. I could halve the recipe. Will need to double check the peanut butter supply. Should be a jar down in the kitchen.
What do you gals think about the kind of peanut butter used ? I buy Jif's Fat Free---here I wonder if an oilier butter is needed as they bake on an ungreased pan. What to do, what to do ? I hate to waste ingredients in trial and error, but I guess that's what good cooks do all the time as they work to perfect recipes. Half an egg, huh, another poser ! Most of us use large eggs I imagine, but a small egg would be the ticket in this case.
I use Jiff extra creamy. I think the additional fat is needed to help with taste and with holding the ingredients together as dough. Also, the salt seems crazy but it makes a huge difference. Just a few crystals on each cookie.
Dinner time for me, too, along with listening to Prairie Home Companion. Then on to some Brit TV on PBS, then on to bed if The Sandman arrives between 9 and 10. Can that be arranged, JUDIE ?
Joplin Shirley called to say they've had a good 24 hours in Critical Care with Gary--he's holding his own. She thanks all for prayers and support--I can hear the profound gratitude in her voice. I'm going to call her about 8 as she will have talked to his nurse at about 5 this evening.
And another thing, maybe I could add a tsp. of vegetable oil to make up for the wrong peanut butter. Soon the recipe is not going to resemble your recipe at all !

Congrats to Belle & Shep!!
WoooooHooooo! Thanks for the new thread, Steve and the announcement JIM!
Jim, I'll share the feather with ya!
So is there one or two eaglets, PAULA???
Hoping to check my nest here as well...maybe inbetween the raindrops this weekend.
one eaglet, Lori
One has hatched, Lori.
Thanks. When are you expecting #2, and #3? Still thinking the same as yesterday?
Lori, we think that there may be a pip in the second egg.
Good that you can join us today, Lori.
Not sure if this is egg 1 or 2 that hatched today...time will tell.
Today is 39 days for egg 1, 36 days for egg 2 and 32 days for egg 3. Could very well be egg 1.
Shep has those eggs and chicklet tucked in tight.
Congratulations Belle and Shep.
Yay on Eaglet
I am getting dizzy with the stream of new threads!!!
When it rains it pours I guess.
Raining here.
Back at the lake house.
Thank you for the reports. Fantastic and exciting
I want us to hold off on names till we know how many eggs will actually hatch.
More important than Prez or Lib is to have Captain...
Not much of a look see that time...should see more on the switch coming up before dark at least.
Was enjoying a treeful of songbirds when the grackles showed up.
I have brought in my squirrel-proof feeders so I can clean them. The website says they can be made grackle-proof, too, by removing the perches. I think I'm going to have to try that.
Woot!!!!
Can someone remind me why we would name one of the eaglets Lib?
It has been a very special day of hatching..... I hope it continues right along.
Great news that the new Phoebe has hatched her first egg too.
Congratulations, everybody! And of course to Belle and Shep!
Paula - I knew about Prez and Captain
I don't know or have forgotten why
Lib... Perhaps someone will remember
The middle hatched egg needs a name
Prez - laid on Presidents day
Captain - laid on Gene's date of passing.
OF course names don't mean anything until we have 3 healthy bobble heads
up and eating and growing.
Sandi got the message and so did
Carolyn.
Waiting to hear from Margy.... ♥
I had forgotten the middle one's proposed name, too. Not sure who suggested Lib. I would think it is to honor Liberty.
LOL Sandi said her car ride is very quiet
Bandit is home with Kevin ♥
I have a platform feeder out for now, and moved it closer to the house. Grackles seem more skittish about coming so close. Little birds are back!
On the road to balto. great news about our 1st eaglet. hope this comment publishes from my phone. will try 2 get the live feed. later!
<3
Got it. Sandi!
Thank you Steve for providing a "hatclet" gift. Bet this one is going to fill up fast.
Congratulations to our Belle and Shep.
Babe is being covered by an eagle blanket.
Jim, thank you. Been watching the new Phoebe. Will check in a few minutes.
I forget who suggested Lib. I assumed it was to honor Liberty.
Okay, son off to the scullery.
Paula, how's Larry feeling today?
Hope Loweeda knows about the hatch.
Eggs and baby were exposed for a moment. I got a screen grab. I see a pip in Egg #2.
On my blog.
I see that too SHIRLEY.
Thank you for the capture.

I hope you do not have to do all of that liquid drinking in a short period of time, Hoda. I think that would be dangerous.

you a couple packs of them! lol
You will do just fine !
So how much do you weigh - ??
You are so active and agile that your weight doesn't seem to be a problem with any of your activities. Here's to the cleansing in April ♥
Paula sent message out on the Momsters email so I am hoping that Loretta sees it. ♥
Health wise - aren't we told to drink 9-9 glasses of water daily. So if I weigh 150 lbs and half of that is 75 (oz) which would be 9 - 8oz glasses plus a little sip... Right..
I would have Floating eyeballs!

Hoda - you know me and that I was just joking you about those patches.
Can't imagine them being of any
value ♥
Hope some more fish come in to the nest. I'll love seeing that first feeding... Please don't let that little one hide behind mom or dad
I'm going to fix a salad for dinner--quite a bit of liquid in those ingredients. Then to my PBS Friday night line up---coming back here to peek in on Belle, Shep and hatchling #1. BBL
Calling for some morning rain Sat
at the nest. Then again on Sunday
there's a chance.
As I recall they feed the newbies liquid from their own systems for the first few hours. We may not see a real feeding of fish til' tomorrow.
Our eagle is digging the way to China. So very very deep. Going to be hard to see those 2 eggs and the
little bobblehead.
I may take a break.....
BBL
FLY IN
BIG FISH
Fly out
Now I AM SEEING IT ON THE lIVE FEED
We have usually seen fish or some kind of meat given pretty early, Kay.
It is just a minute delay from the Still cam until the Live Feed
picks it up........
That is why I keep both can running.
Yeah. I just saw it, too, Jo. I don't have the other feed open. Wow, that was quite a difference.
Exciting to see two eagle hatches this afternoon. I see a pip? In a second egg in our nest as some of you all do. The Pittsburgh nest hatch made the 6 o'clock news. I see that almost 11,000 people are watching that cam.
Good Happy Hatchling Evening, Eagle Pals
Jewels Delivered the Newborn News on the Bobblehead when she arrived at work around 4:45.
I had only seen the very large crack in the egg earlier this afternoon
Congratulations, Belle and Shep !!
Bravo and Clap Clap Clap !!
And by the way there is a Male and a Female Osprey at Blackwater Osprey nest
Spring is Springing !!

Hello, Judy!
Thanks, Jo
I got a pic of the still cam, but really don't know if it got into the album or not...
have not navigated there for quite some time :(
maybe I'll figure it out
Hey there Judy aka Angie...
I could tell right away it was you due to the avatar...
We got our eaglet, Judy...Check out FB
I'm BAAAAAACK!
I'm sharing this link, it is SO cool!
ISS Cam
Going to watch some First 48.
Looks as if all is quiet at the nest. Maybe tomorrow will bring a playmate for #1.
Night light is on. Sandperson is leaving early. Plans to stop at the nest to check on the babe.
Restful sleep for all.
this ISS cam is awesome! I'm traveling the world! I have taken Jufie with me and I let her out over Russia...set her loose on Putan!
in a no signal zone now....
The map beside the live feed is so interesting and is refreshing my geographical knowledge.

geez, looks like Eggbert #2 will hatch in the rain tomorrow :(
Working on a bulletin board for school for Alcohol Awareness Month.
♥
Good night everyone.
We had 2 clients have pets get bitten by a raccoon this week. It tested positive for rabies. One of the people feeds a bunch of ferals. Animal control now has to come and trap and euthanize them. Very sad.
evening all
had a hard time getting on the blog this evening it was my connection
no rain here yet tonight... we are expecting two inches of rain too
have to go back and get caught up
glad to hear our bubble head was cited bubbling... hahaha had to leave that in there love this talk to text
larry is doing good today fed him ribs and pasta tonight :-)
he starts his radiation on Tuesday
oh did I mention I quit smoking :-)
now I suck on fake cigarettes :-)
Paula, I AM PROUD OF YOU ♥
I Pray that you soon will even give up the fake ones.
Nice going, Paula....enjoy
your new good health benefits.
Always good to SEE you and read your posts, always has been

PAULA Way to go!!! So very pleased for you and very very very proud of you...
Glad LARRY is eating well and prayers continue for radiation that starts Tuesday.
Pouring rain here today bouncing off the lake. Very pretty.
Congratulations on quitting, Paula. I will be interested in how the fake cigarettes work for you. One of my bowling teammates uses them.
Will started smoking after 9-11. I know he has tried to stop. He does not smoke in my house or in my presence, thank goodness.
Hope that radiation goes will for Larry, Paula. I went to talk to the radiation people, but ended up not needing that, so I do not know much about it.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
E4 so ready to fledge

It has been such an Eggciting day that I am plumb worn our out......
Prayers for all that need healing - for us and for all our loved ones and friends.
Love you all - goodnight ♥
just realized I didn't check the box when I got home no wonder there is no email in my box to read Talk at ya tomorrow
Paula...way to go!!! You will will enjoy the benefits of not smoking. Proud of you! Prayers for success!
Lynne, I laughed out loud. Kicking Jufie out over Russia. Too funny!
Time to think of getting ready for the pillow. Sounds pretty good to me!!
Night all! SED!!
Having cat issues again. George comes and sits across my arm. He likes petting, but what he really wants is some more snacks. He would eat until he barfs if I let him.
Going to join the others and get under the covers. George just changed the channel by sitting on the remote. If it isn't one thing, it's another.
SED everyone!
Hi, Gang,
I have been MIA again for a while because of a crazy schedule and some more work from the doctor who sends me reports to transcribe, but thought I'd better get on here and let you know that Ken and Emma and I are all OK.
GN
Thank you for checking in ANDY. Yes news reported it in Canada and I wondered. So Thank you. Glad you are safe.
Blessed Be.
Goodnight
God Bless
Good morning,
Good to know that you are okay, Andy, with no earthquake damage. I had not heard the news yet. I would have been asleep.
The earthquake here that damaged the Washington Monument was a 5-something, 5.6-5.8 or so. We certainly felt that one.
Looking for another hatch today. Do stay in touch.
We do indeed have an eaglet.
Well, that post came out in the wrong order--Meant to mention that we have an eaglet before mentioning the expected hatch.
Seeing news about the California earthquake now. Caused a car to flip.
Checked the earthquake map--another aftershock this morning.
Good morning my eagle peeps. What an exciting day yesterday.
Good Morning Eagle buds
LORI I was at Angie when I posted and when I clicked on post it came up with Angie acct and I said either give me your password or I will log you out So she told me her # I also used her fb to post pic of Shep fan page
PAULA fantastic you stopped smoking
I smoked for many years and stopped several years ago I think I told you the story Don't miss them at all
ANDY so happy the earthquakes weren't as bad as the news make out
SANDI I hope you all can sell quickly and get a good price for it
pick a little flugg here and pick a little there going on at the nest when I first came on was adjusting in the cup so there must have been a egg roll right when I got up and missed it
I have been out of the electronic world for a while. It's good to be back with my peeps.
Congrats Paula. Good to see you too Sandi. Good luck with the realtor.
Good Morning Eagle Buds !!!
Nice to see you here Thelma.
Just checked the weather forecast--we are supposed to get s*** tonight! Then in the 60's next week.
Good morning everyone!
PAULA, congrats on the quitting smoking. I'm next! I know it's not easy. Prayers for strength.
SANDI, good luck with the Realtor today. I'm sure it's difficult for you having to go back to your Mom's house. ♥
ANDY, glad you're okay. I don't miss those Southern Calif. earthquake at all!
I'll be waiting for the announcement that we have another eaglet!
Good morning to all ♥
Smells and looks like rain is coming to my valley. I am headed over to the cams to see what is going on at the nest.
Hello Thelma my friend ♥
*************************************
Shirley - in my junk mail I have
an email from you at ShirleyPhillips@yahoo.com
but I am not going to open it as it only contains a link ........
I see the names of about 30 people that are probably your addresses.
Has anyone else mentioned this - like Kay or JudyE
I guess I better bring up the Birthday list over on Momsters site so I don't miss any of the April
special peeps' days.
Someone at the Eagle Cam said it looked like 2 heads bobbling in our nest. We need to check this out pronto.
I am going to FB and see if there are any comments or pics.... ♥
Only one from all reports
1st feeding video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcMBgjc606U
The eagle does, as always ! I meant to say "doesn't the eaglet look terrific" !
I can only see one egg at this point...the other one is tucked this side of the egg cup...little one wiggling around
Parent in the NHZ
Um, there might be two chicks...hard to tell
Yes...I think there is two...
Lets see what happens during this feeding
YES we have a second hatch...saw the second little head bob up!
Great ! I had to leave for a few and missed it, but now I know what all that parental fidgeting was about ! How thrilling ! Now we must hold out hope for egg #3 within the next two or three days, eh ?
Yes, movement under the egg shell
Another fuzzy little head
TWINS or SIBLINGS lol
TY for seeing that Paula
WHOO HOO ♥
I put a pic on FB, I'll try it on the EM blog as well.
Paula, I'll look for your Momster
announcement.
Kay, you're right about #3
Pic on my EM blog
http://eagletmomsters.blogspot.com/
Oh, and I can hear sound today...haven't been able to hear it at work the last couple of days.
Thanks PAULA ! The eyes have it !
Eagle digging to China...
LOL Kay
Shep is doing a good job this morning! Nice to see these 2 hatch so close together!
Yes, sounds windy. Can hear an occasional bird tweeting in the distance.
Going to move to the still cam for awhile...
Jo, sent out the email on yahoo and put it on the fan page.
I always share with the Eagle Peeps
FB group and put it on our Eaglet Momster page. Your pic was marked Public and everyone can see it.
Debi on the Eagle Cam FB page got a
good pic also.
She enjoyed the food and wants to go again :)
Back to taxes...YUCK!
Hi,
Two babies! Now to watch for the third.
Thanks for the links, Jo and Paula.
Hi Wanda,
I still have to do my taxes, too.
Eager little eaters ! They catch on fast !
WANDA, so happy with your Family Nite and GG reports ! It's grand to know you have a comforting Church Family, too !
Hi Wanda - happy report about your Friday shindigs! One of these days you must pack up and head for the OBX with the family. Good luck with your taxes - we made out ok - didn't owe ♥
My lights have been flickering - I know the rain is coming BUT if I become MIA please don't worry.
I will return.... ♥
Good morning everyone.
Need to get some things accomplished today.
Hello, hello, Eaglebuds!
Congrats on our hatch. I just missed it. Went out to dinner w/daughter last night and then SIL arrived at airport.
Gotta do some nest watching! ☺
You better, Loweeeeeeeeeda! We have two bobbleheads to watch!
Getting ready to take the trailer to its home!
Just bein’ a sand shark - keepin’ busy.
Later.
I'll never forget that smorgasbord either Lolly.
CATCH A FEEDING ON OUR LIVE CAM
I SEE FEEDING ON LUNCH
SO HAPPY THAT WE CAN SEE THEM
THELMA, happy with the Buddy progress report !
I wonder if we will have a hatch tomorrow Belle did good timing the two so far
wiggle wiggle down she is on them
Ah, feeding time just ending and Belle settling down over the cup again.
Good afternoon.
Seeing the feeding was just so much fun. Wish the rain would stop and temp would rise.
God news on Buddy. Hope he continues to improve with the new diet.
Loweeda, just check in. Updates will be plentiful.
Sandi, hope the condo sells quickly at asking price.
JudyE, stay safe if the weather becomes too scary.
Did some reading, nest checking, now think I'll bake some flourless cookies.
My version of creme pies Jo and Margy use to celebrate eaglets.
up again
looks like just a adjustment
JUDIE, I have all those ingredients and the cookies sound yummy. Wonder how they'd turn out with the use of Splenda rather than sugar ?
Afternoon all and happy second bobblehead day! Really hope that third one comes tomorrow....
The only way Jufie can return is for Shirkey to rescue her. (insert evil chuckle here)
Wanda, glad you had a fun FFN! I know it will never be the same without Gene but what a blessing you you have in the family you raised together!
Andy, glad no harm done during the quake but what a typical Californian to say it wasn't too bad...LOL! We've had a quake here and I about peed myself!
Judie, what are these "flourless" cookies??
woopsie, I see the recipe for the cookies. Looks yummy!
Good afternoon,
Hmm, I have all of those ingredients except I do not think there is a cup of sugar in the house. I do have Splenda, though.
Got a glimpse of one of the little ones when the adult moved a bit.
Practiced bowling. Want the team to stay in first place. :)
Oh my goodness. Don't know about a Splenda substitute. Could give it a try.
Shirley, if you halve the recipe, how're gonna cut the egg in half?
Just made 4 dozen (2 batches). I needed to bake them about 12 minutes. Probably because I used an extra large egg plus humidity.
Anyway, let me know, please.
Babes are covered. Still looks misty and fluff looks damp. Hoped I might catch a feeding.
Sandperson is pacing the hallway. Wants me to find a disguise. Says he is in abject fear that Shirky will rescue Jufie.
Soon back to the scullery. Tilapia (sp), asparagus, salad.
BBL
Okay, trying how to slice a raw egg.
I suppose I could break it and use half of the stuff inside.
Most of us use large eggs I imagine, but a small egg would be the ticket in this case.
babies are exposed check it out
Feeding!
see one egg
Dinner time with the small one getting extra attention right now. What a couple of cuties !
TWO bobbleheads and one egg are showing!!!!!!
How sweet. Twilight dinner for the eaglets.
Precious!
Another California quake.
4.1
No damage reported.
Shirley, you and Kay are just too funny.
Love and Prayers for all !
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
JUDIE, we're pretty good at turning a molehill into a mountain, aren't we ?
Another quake or big aftershock---good thing my Lauren finds them "exciting" !
And another thing, maybe I could add a tsp. of vegetable oil to make up for the wrong peanut butter. Soon the recipe is not going to resemble your recipe at all !
