I see the temp at the nest is 22 and the wind has somewhat died down and I also see the bad stick is no longer in the area where the eagle is but there is one at 5
just on a talk show that she said she would eat crow if something happened Now that it is happening she has to eat crow and she asked that question WHAT WINE would you choose I thought was so funny I thought I would ask our wine tasting expert and ask the DOG also
or maybe its the stopping and stalling of the cam I let the arrow spin and then it starts again but I wonder if Steve would have any idea why it does this When it wasn't like this for years
While I'm waiting on the wind to stop blowing so hard (I have legal errands to attend to), I thought I'd explain the name of 'GEORGE' on the cremains urn. For many years, Gene called all children, whose name he didn't know, GEORGE, until he learned their real name. Some, he continued to call GEORGE long after he knew their names. One 4 year old, who was our church's acolyte, would walk past him after lighting the candles and wink and say 'Hi George', making many of us laugh out loud. The story of GEORGE goes on, and so does the name...thus GEORGE is engraved on the urn~ Wind was supposed to stop at noon, that hasn't happened. Went outside a while ago to feed the babies (I call the kitties that from habit when they were babies) and discovered a tree has blown down, near where our Trail Cam is situated. Not in the way, but it needs to be tended to. WANDA THE WITCH says: Wind, be gone...Winter be gone!!
Hi Wanda - The wind is causing Frigid cold temps and makes it feel even worst then normal.
George - I have 2 ggs that earned the name of George while visiting the nest with our group. In fact Capt Gene was given Joseph's wide brim hat to wear in exchange for a turn in the driver's seat of the Eagle Express
It is still a very windy afternoon and temps tonight should be around 15° but on Friday they are up to 55° Go Figure ♥
Can't be sure Paula who is in the nest - we are just darn lucky the nest didn't blow away today! Short tail feathers seem to mean Shep FB Eagle cam got a nice shot of both in the nest on their site.
My pal and grandson James.... became first "George" and then "James-George" after meeting Gene.....
Love it to this day.... and Jo, I love that your two great grandsons acquired that name also... that is one of the very dear visits that I had to miss because of work
Paula: Wonderful, what you report about Larry
Hello Eagle Pals
xoxox
Thanks Steve for this New Thread and for you and your "guys" work restoring the Still Cam
and Congrats and thanks, Kay, for the discovery and the Shout Out
Lolly: You Go Girl! What an amazing round of adventures and expeditions you and Jack are experiencing.... Way Cool, grabbing up some Fritz glasses: Nice Touch !!!
I read that Janet experienced the double "joy" [not...!] of the Night and Energy Bandits last night.... I did NOT send them over to visit, promise.....but I have not seen them for a few days either
Cold and Windy allrighty, but if dressed right, as I was earlier, it made for a GREAT day to walk, around the downtown streets of Martinsburg....including to the library and the train station
20 articles of clothing, including shoes, hat and gloves and everything from the outside in.... did the trick only thing not pull up, pull over, or slip on were the boots with laces
JudyE, you must know...by now....I cannot comment on wind on the nest of how long it takes to come up or stay up, just cannot fool with it right now, computer limitations for one thing But thanks for your nest reports AND THOSE OF ALL OTHERS....I'D LIKE TO GET MORE "READY" BEFORE HATCHING TIME
Today our school board announced that 30 minutes will be added to the end of each school day, starting next Monday and continuing for the rest of the year. I was hoping for 15 or 20 minutes at the most, but it is what it is. Sigh.
Gotta run (accountant is coming to talk taxes) - hope no one blew away today! And BOY is it back to frigid again! Later!
Don't know why but my buttermilk pancakes just don't taste like IHops. I tried!
The birds have been on the deck all day long...from Bluejays, cardinals, house finches, junco, chickadees and wrens... and one or two I didn't ID. Oh yes, my little titmouse. Love them as they fly away with a peanut in their beak.
I have been watching BaoBao in the DC den - momma is eating and this little girl seems to be so content all by herself rolling around and scooting all over the place. Helen, our friend, who volunteers at the zoo cameras said that is her disposition.
Well Arthur lost his long Jeopardy winning streak last evening. So much knowledge about everything that young man had. The contestants with him last evening followed his game plan and hit the higher $ questions first. I enjoyed the 2 women opponents and at the end and the new winner was announced, that young lady could not stop shaking with delight!
WANDA: so lovely to see you on the blog today. ((((hugs))))
its a busy day, again. I worked of course. after work I went to lowes and purchased 25 feet of carpet protector. the ONLY thing I can find about this RV that I dislike is that it has carpet. but it is a light brown...so that is good. but a protector is better.
I still want to scotch guard the seats and upholstery. but the weather was colder today, and I simply had too much to do.
Olivia skated tonight. we are taking the next two weeks off. this time next week I will be getting ready to head to Virginia beach to see my gal pals. Chris is the one who was diagnosed with non hodgkins lymphoma back in December.
oh where are my manners? THANK YOU STEVE FOR THE NEW THREAD!
well, not a lot else. will check in again before bedtime. hope everyone is doing well.
A late thank you to Steve and those who restored the cam.
Apparently Jufie was out-of-sorts today and blocked the internet. So, evil Jufie, enjoy while you can because you are destined to return to the secret hiding place and life without parole.
Seems most everyone has had a decent day.
Especially happy with the good report on Larry feeling much better.
Wanda, so happy to see you were here today. Remember, the Capt. is still with you and will guide you as you go forward. Glad the tree did not damage the house or the trail cam. How's GG doing?
Margy, please continue to take it slow with recovery. Do not want any residual damage.
Will venture out in the am to pick up a prescription, forage for sustenance, then back home.
Where is Shirley? And where is Hoda? Maybe Shirley's washing expensive socks and Hoda is strewing breadcrumbs in the light of the moon.
Sandperson is already putting on layers and layers of travel wear and packing a large satchel. Something about needing to visit Nashville.
Hoda, glad you decided to do the housesitting...enjoy!!
Wanda, glad you stopped by. We are here for you!
Larry had his appointment with radiologist today. Boy they talked about eat eat eat...nutrition nutrition nutrition. All that was good for Larry to hear....he needs to build himself up before treatments start. Since the radiation will be directed at the throat area, he is probably going to experience some/alot of difficulty eating. They talked about a feeding tube as well. Larry hasn't decided on that yet. Radiation treatments will probably start in 3 weeks...Larry sees the chemo guy tomorrow.
JUDIE: tell that sandman no fair attacking with sleepy sand while I was showering! it won't be long now...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz look out pillows.
JUDYE: I am looking forward to a few days off. we are only staying in va bch for a few days. most of mine will be a staycation, but there is plenty I want to do here.
MEMAJO: plenty snuggly warm here. heat back on. it went down to 29 last night. warming up tomorrow I think.
forgot to share some news. Michael passed his test with Western Express and now is a full fledge semi truck driver. woo hoo~
the trainer was pretty rude several times to him. he said some pretty obnoxious things to Michael just before he released him to be tested. the only thing that keeps resonating with me is on some level he is jealous of Michael?
when the trainer was going to spent a few days with his family in GA, I said if you are going to be there four days, we will put you on a greyhound to come home for a couple of those days. suddenly the trainer did not know how long he would be staying put. well, not only was it four days, but on the fourth day Michael had to check out of the hotel and he trainer didn't show up to the truck til past 9 p.m.
just nonsense like that several times over in addition to the negative comments.
either way, he did it! he has his own truck now (company truck) and will be making a run from Birmingham to Ashland city tomorrow, then take the truck to the terminal and have a couple of days home!` a couple of well deserved days home!
tonight was veg. night again. I made stuffed shells and salad. Olivia less than pleased, but she ate. we had strawberry shortcake for dessert!
all righty, time to do some serious pillow denting!
Hi all! What a fabulous day we had! Totally awesome! First we went to Fritz winery. Had a great time tasting. They did not have glasses, drat, but bought other items that had Fritz logo. Then we went to The Caves of Soda Canyon! We were treated like royalty! We had a private tour of the caves, while sipping wine. Did some barrel tasting, then onto their patio for wine tasting. You would not believe the view! Had cheese and other items with the wine. BUT, the young folks we were with were just so much fun! We bought two bottles but were not charged for the tasting. Nice to know the right people at times! The experience was a definite highlight of our trip!
A Jack Rabbit, of course you should see such a creature, Lolly! Continue, the two of you, to enjoy this wonderful getaway And a Bald Eagle, how Heavenly!
Paula....sounds like things are lining up very systematically for Larry, glad to hear of the Nutrition and Eating discourse.... Best Wishes to you both in the days and weeks to come, and Enjoy YOUR week-end getaway
Prayers for Wellness, All Around Amongst Us
RED FRIDAY, IT IS RED FRIDAY NOW...ON THE EAST COAST... GOD BLESS OUR MILITARY, EVERY DAY
Goodorming my eagle friends - it's finally Friday! What a long week this has been.
Lynne, sorry to hear it's been a tough week for you at work - spend some extra time with the pigs and the donkeys this weekend. They should cheer you up.
His bus comes at 7:30. He has decided that he does not need to get dressed until after 7:15. He watches TV, then tears upstairs at, hmm, maybe 7:20, then tears back down.
I have just been staying out of the way, but we have an agreement that he hollers to me when he goes out the door. Of course I hear all of the tearing around.
And, a good one it is here--sunny with temps rising !
LORI has been in touch with me and asks that I relay a message---she's almost at the end of what has been ONE ROUGH stint and is just very, very tired ! Yet another student dropped out after failing Nutrition, so they're down to 18--can't recall how many were in for starters. But, I do know our gLORI is going to succeed in this remarkable goal she's set for herself !
Just wanted you to know I'm alive and....... not so well.....
Still battling these migraines and trying to keep my head above water this tax season. My hours are not at all normal as I am working whenever I'm not in pain! :-(
I'm getting things done, though, and Lord willing, this, too, shall pass!!
Keeping you all in my heart and my prayers...... And when I feel somewhat caught up........
Wondering if there is a launch adjustment on my toaster--
Last night, it launched a slice of toast high into the air. The toast came down between the cabinet and the refrigerator and is now wedged between the refrigerator and the wall. Will try to retrieve it today.
Here's hoping The Wright Clan will be gathering for a warm and wonderful Family Night.
And, that SANDI n' Denny have a safe trip to Mom's and a grand reunion with Brian tomorrow.
And, that LOLLY n' JACK have a beautiful day as they drive to the Great Redwoods for another acid test of the equipment in the "new home", dry camping.
And, that you all have a gloriously beautiful day.
I'm off to take advantage of the day with a list of errands to run--things I've been putting off too long.
Oh my, Linda. Hope today is a good one for you. Migraines are not fun.
Thinking of Lori and her classmates. It's tough what they have to go through, but we are glad that those who nurse us are the ones who have learned all of this stuff and survived the trials of nursing school.
Oh, Linda, please read back. I asked you a question about the new migraine prevention headband that has been approved by the FDA. Please ask your doc about it.
Ha, SHIRLEY, if you find that launch control on your toaster please tell me where to look. Mine does that occasionally. Yesterday I was toasting one half of an English muffin--it launched and landed face up right on top of the toaster as if to say, "here you go". Hmmm, it doesn't sound as if Hunter is taking the right kind of time to get ready for that cute little miss you saw him with. Have you seen her again ?
Atlanta panda girls in the hammock with some bamboo to play with - I don't think they eat it yet at their age. Lun Lun is also prowling around the day room......
I always try to watch "NEW TRICKS" at 2pm. PBS show - cold cases and the group of 4 investigators are so very enjoyable! The 3 men are retired policemen and their leader is a woman- lots of laughs and also intriguing mysteries to solve.
But it was the next-to-last slice of bread in the house, so I stood over the toaster waiting to grab the next slice I put in there. It did not go flying.
Hunter's new shorts and socks arrived today. He likes them, but is a bit concerned that they do not match his shoes. Interesting for a kid who starts getting dressed 10 minutes before the bus arrives.
Baked salmon loaf and creamed potatoes plus a veggie - probably peas I am hungry - Sounds better then pizza for this meatless Friday.
Not much on TV - I need a table puzzle for sure. I can't seem to settle down enough to read much - well except the newspaper and that's not the kind of reading to which I am referring.
Good to hear from your Paula - enjoy Rehoboth this weekend.
Shirley, remember Keep a half loaf of bread on hand at all times... lol What color shoes does Hunter wear that socks could possibly match. I thought that socks were to match the pants worn... Maybe Hunter needs to know this... ♥
And I thought those socks were a fashion statement all their own and did not have to match anything ! All through Seth's 4 years of H.S. I'd sit in the parking lot waiting for him and marveling at the "stylin" going on ! It's a kick !
Oh, SHIRLEY, so glad you were able to retrieve the toast -- did it taste good ? ☺
JO, that dinner sounds scrumptious--sounds like company fare. Are you having guests tonight ?
Read a squib in the paper on Mr. Chu today. He plans to use his Jeopardy winnings as carefully as he plotted his long winning streak. Says he will take his wife to China as she's never been to their "homeland" and he has relatives he hasn't seen in a very long time. Then they will think about buying or building a house. JO n' SHIRLEY, did you notice the young woman from Ann Arbor adopted his style of play, hunting around for the goodies ? It only served her well for one day, however. I like the new champ and hope he fares well tonight.
Hunter's shoes are grey with chartreuse trim, Jo. I told him that I don't think it is a big problem and he agreed.
Thing is, I tried to match the socks to the shorts. I bought black shorts and I thought I got black and white socks, but they really look like they are white and navy. Either I goofed or the shippers did, but I'm not going to worry. Kathryn was going to buy some more socks and she can pick a pair with black on them. Then, we just need some navy shorts. That should be easy.
Glad I ran errands before high winds kicked up. Gusts of 40-50 mph and small twigs and limbs flying wild. I hate to even go out with Penny and just pray neither of us gets konked on the head. Timing is bad as the groundskeepers spent the a.m. picking up limbs, branches, twigs that had fallen all through the winter. It's wonderful to be surrounded by lots of trees, but can be hazardous at times !
Sorry, to repeat, JO, I missed your comment re:Jeopardy yesterday.
Time to eat my soup n' salad, then on to news, Jeopardy and the Friday night PBS pols. All shortened due to continuing fund raising. Seems like it's been going on for a month !
Love and prayers for everyone, with special mention for all our travelers....
Kay, it sure is ok to repeat! I was agreeing with you and Shirley - I think we are the Jeopardy Watchers. When they jump around like that I can't remember which catagory is for the answers they are to give. I just marvel at their intelligence on so many subjects. Sometimes I can say a correct answer - like for $200.
Clearing the dinner table.. then I'll sit for awhile out here at the computer until 7:30... ♥
BWE looks content. Littlest one is now getting fed a good bit. Didn't read the log to see where the 3rd egg ever went. They have a zoom on their camera - right not it is zoomed in but later when the eaglets get to moving, they will zoom it out. ♥
FB: Sandi and Dennis are on their way to Baltimore and she said that traffic on RT 97 is bumper to bumper. Bandit still won't sleep - Picture has him with his head in a Dunkin Donut bag... lol
It does get confusing when they jump around to different categories in Jeopardy. Lots of times, I think I should know the answer, but I can't recall quickly enough, and it is harder when I can't remember the category.
My son Rus is quite good at things like that.
Need to go down and finish up dinner. I have a chicken in the oven. Kathryn will be wanting to take Hunter out to buy cleats for baseball.
Hi from Mom's place!! Tie-up on Rt.97 was caused by an accident - it took 3 1/2 hours to get here (normally 2 3/4 hours) so we got to listen to Bandit serenading us for an extra 30 minutes! Oh joy!!
Just read a weather forecast on FB - MORE snow for Sunday night into Monday???? Say it isn't so!!!
Lolly, would love to be a stowaway in your RV to see those giant redwoods - some day ...
Shirley, laughed at your flying toast story. Maybe you should consider a toaster oven that opens toward the front so, if it shoots the toast out, it will fly right into you! :)
I am at the Lake house after a very busy day. brought in more of my things and it is a good sign as now I have my food in the fridge and in the cupboards and it all feels alright. I will be here five nights running and that will make it feel more like home. My friends arrived safely and are jet lagging after 15 hour flights
Cooking here and getting used to new pots and pans and but it is always a good sign when I cook in a new place.
Good Evening, Eagle Pals.... I see many have checked in through the day, and many of us "have each other's backs" relaying important messages, like Kay with Lori, Jo with Sandi and then Sandi herself!
Waiting on Judie... hoping she managed her chores OK today!
Lynne2: Hope your busy and not so good week ends on a High Note, maybe you will see more Tundra Swans....
work was good. came home, got the kid, and then I put the carpet protector vinyl down in the camper. I also put some of our stuff in there. nesting you know, lol.
had to run to the wally world tonight as Olivia has a project due on Monday.
Michael got home tonight. good to see him.
flying toast. flying dog poop. JUFIE on the loose! what is this blog coming to! lol!!!
eyes are burning and am very tired so shutting it down shortly. plesant and restful sleep to all!
We have stopped for the night and we will be here for the next two days and three nights. We are NOT dry camping as expected, but in a KOA just north of Crescent City, CA....on the coast and in the redwoods. The KOA is practically empty. Think we got the choice site...it is beautiful. There are woods here and we went for a walk. It is beautiful. We will go exploring tomorrow. Will drive through the redwoods and hopefully do some trails.
We have great wifi here! Has something to do with no one here. (Jack asked if the owners name was Bates! Yikes!) Just now took a peek at the cam and got on easily. Wow! All is quiet at the nest.
Shirley, back at the Fritz winery bought both of Laurel's boys aluminum water bottles. They have printed on them FRITZ winery. LOL
Love the camper pics you shared on FB, Janet. You will certainly travel in comfort.
When we did our camping, we usually had a trailer. But we did enjoy the one time we rented a motor home. It was nice to have all of the comforts while we were on the road.
Goodorming Judy and all my eagle friends. Had a nice evening with Mom - she gets sad at times talking/thinking about her current situation. I would too if I was her. She hasn't complained one time this past week about Lisa controlling her meds so, as long as Lisa is OK with bringing the meds for the day each morning and then calling at night to make sure Mom took her night time ones, I won't mess with success.
I am becoming very intrigued about what happened to this missing plane - new information about communications being deliberately turned off and the plane deliberately taking a different flight path. Brian has been to Malaysia lately on business - I'll be curious to ask him today about his theories and about the current political situation in that area.
Sounds very windy at the nest. It's breezy here as well but warmer than yesterday. Today is supposed to be in the 60s but then there's snow in the forecast for tomorrow night into Monday morning. The bad weather will be traveling from east to west so DE will get it sooner than Baltimore and even we are expecting some more snow. Geez!!!
I have been interested in the airplane mystery, too, Sandi. Have been keeping up with events. It will be interesting to hear Brian's thoughts on the politics involved.
BRIAN will visit with SANDI today. Blessed Be. Very upsetting about the plane. Military radar picked its signal 15 minutes after civilian radar lost its signal! It was diverted twice after that! Not Good I am afraid! God Rest Their Souls.
Hi, Everyone, Well, I've been MIA again. It's taken me about 3 days to catch up on what's happening here! I'm kind of in the same boat as Movin' Jim. My life has gotten VERY busy since Ken is home all the time, and we have lots to do, with applying for Unemployment. Also took Fender's advice in their packet of information they gave Ken. They suggest that we have a lawyer look over the Separation Letter, which is pages and pages long. We have an appt. with an attorney on Monday. We are also drafting a letter to Fender to try to extend the time we have to return the signed (or unsigned) separation agreement to them. The agreement is very long and complicated by a lot of not-so-clear legaleze language. Not saying whether or not we plan to sue Fender--we'll find out more when we visit the attorney. Ken has had sort of a delayed reaction to his "forced retirement"--I'm sure he was numb with shock at first. Been there, done that! He really isn't sure what he wants to do about possible employment, or possible retirement. We have been talking about it, but there's so much to consider! Since he'd been with Fender for 48+ years, a resume is kind of a tricky proposition. He doesn't have a resume yet. Never thought he would need one! Well, I will try to get here more often. Please know that I have been praying for all needs, and trying to read and stay caught up on what's happening! I love all of you, and think of you every day, and pray for you too! Will get back here as often as I can. Ken and Emma say "Hello!" too. I ♥ us!!!
Good Morning to all ♥ I also turn on the world news when my feet hit the floor hoping that some definite information is there about the plane - so many ideas being checked without any conclusions. Praying for all the missing and their families.
Andy, I know exactly the feelings Ken is going through as downsizing of the company where I worked and let go. Of course I only had 12 years under my belt - can't imagine with Ken - he was there a lifetime. Resume was the item - I chose to go with a temp organization and was lucky enough to get my foot in the door and get hired on without one. It is really mind boggling at the late age we are when this happens to know what to do. Prayers for you and Ken and Emma too.
Hoda - I am happy you made the decision to 'house sit' - It sounds like a beautiful home you are watching The grounds are awesome! I remember pictures you posted on FB last year. I am glad you are moving your things in to make you more comfortable.
Lots of new flugg in our nest Come Sunday with more snow it will be very useful. Two more weeks and just maybe some bobble heads will appear. I still will be disappointment during our hatching watch not to be able to see the Pips in the eggs happening. Sure wish we had a zoom and of course a different angle.
Sandi - feeling excited for you as you await your visit with Brian and Lynnis - I forget the due date of your 'no name to be known' grandchild. Hoping the visit will be enjoyed by your Mom.
SANDI, my heart is pounding as I think of the reunion you'll all have with Brian today ! I hope it does your Mom a world of good.
ANDY, a complicated mess Fender has presented you with. Hope the attorney can help and in a hurry. It's stressful having such a thing hanging over your heads. Hugs !!!
HODA, will you have the same Dragon Boat teammates as last year or is there a shuffle yearly ? I hate to think about your having a couple of those people to contend with when it should just be good exercise and great fun !
good morning to one and all. Saturday! off to work shortly. I have a full shift today.
strong hunter: yes, we will travel in comfort. it is not the most fancy nor the most plush RV that we looked at, but I am not a fancy nor plush sort of gal. of course, thereis the argument that it is plush none the less by tent standards.
either way, I love it. I am very excited to take it to PUF in May and then to Gatlinburg in June.
tom is going to work on the wagon today. seems it has developed a vacuum leak. so thankful he is able to do such things!
SANDI: glad you have found a resolution for your mom. and I think sadness/wistfulness is appropriate in this situation. she has time to deal with the reality, say what she needs/wants to say to everyone and hopefully come to a peaceful place. and the same for each of you.
while I hated that we had to go thru thr process....it was difficult, it also gave us a chance to say what we needed to say. I remember at one point, I looked my dad in the eyes and told him how much I love him, appreciate him and thanked him for all that he did for me. that was a very powerful moment I think for both of us.
mom was able to relate somethings to me that I never knew and it helped me to understand her as a person, not just a mom. I can't say we were every close, not even as she came closer to her transistion time, and she certainly didn't want me there, but it was what it was and we were afforded that luxery.
so anyway, nice day here. warm and partly sunny for now. rain later I suppose. will enjoy each as each has its time and place.
light and love to all. make it a fabulous day! hug someone who needs one today!
Yes, thank you, JUDYE ! I always enjoy your pics !
LOLLY, who knew a KOA could be so inviting and grand ? I can't see your FB pics, but know first hand how beautiful and totally awesome those giant Redwoods are ! An unforgettable experience.
Seth will be here tonight for the usual routine---dinner to be spaghetti, salad, garlic bread. Bought special St. Paddy's Day sugar cookies at Kroger yesterday--his dessert tonight and some to spare for visits during his Spring Break. Can't believe he still likes hanging out with me, but I'm not complaining !
LOLLY, good to know about KOA. Some in AZ were downright pathetic back a few years---probably due to the economy. We had a Good Sam in Bullhead City that always thrived due to the short drive across the Colorado River to the casinos in NV.
Just a scare - turned off my computer to be sure I had connected with the new links and COULD NOT get it to come on. Hubby called Dell and got an instant fix WHoo Hoo They say it could be the power supply in the hard drive and will be here on Tues to fix it. Good on Dell ♥
Hello on lunch watch the Berry eagle being feed and the Fl eagle branching all over the tree today and the camera guy is keeping up with them tough job isn't it LOL wish I had that job also
SANDI so happy with the news of your mom and I also have been pondering in my mind the plane situation they aren't telling all I am sure
Thank you Paula for the zoom news. Hope you and Larry are having a nice weekend.
Really enjoying the saga of Shirley's Home Companion - flying toast and happy socks/shorts noises. Always a chuckle. Enjoy the sun and warmth, Shirley. Snow/sleet headed our way.
Sandi, very happy your mom seems to be adjusting. Hoping the family reunion will be a happy one for all.
Kay, enjoy the pasghetti dinner with Seth.
Lolly, continue having an amazing and wonderful vacation.
Hoda, I think marking the 10th anniversary of the dragon boaters would be for the team to row up and down the river with you in the front holding a flag with a dragon wafting in the wind. Perhaps you could wear viking clothes. lol What a sight that would be!
Hope Lynne1 is having a relaxing pleasant weekend.
I am smiling picturing Hoda in the front of the dragon boat holding a dragon flag wafting in the wind.
I will launch ten slices of toast to celebrate.
Love hearing about your times with Seth, Kay.
Yes, good to know we have zoom.
I had good results from Dell, too, Jo. They honored their warranty.
That camper looks far more luxurious than any camper I ever saw, Janet.
We stayed at plenty of Good Sam and KOA campgrounds, Lolly.
I am going to be watching that redwood next door. You know, I had said I didn't have any big trees near my house. I guess that redwood is the biggest one.
It was planted by the first neighbor who lived in that house. She planted trees in little groups like they were daisies--just about that close together. Family #4 is now in that house, and they are dealing with the results.
Anxious to hear from Steve to Paula about the zoom. What I mean is that the area we want to see (egg cup) may not be in the pic if we zoom and only get the middle of the nest...Just need to wait and see... I'm not optimistic - I hope I get proven wrong.
Getting ready to go to Mass. Last Sat closing hymn was Eagle's Wings... I always get teary eyed on that one. BBl
Well wonderful day here still. Lots of birds. Lovely. A bit cold. Am very happy with it though.
KAY The Dragon Boat Team has some new members and some older ones. The problem was with one of the three teams and I do not paddle with them. I however make it a point to talk to every one and I do communication to the whole club and I am also the Sunshine Girl so all is like a water off of a ducks back for me. I tend to not take sides in conversations that bring out the worst in people. Negativity has that effect so I just stay away from it all... It is all good...
Feeling happy with the meeting today. Will go out to Yoga in the afternoon. SO good that it is day light so much later in the day.
Home from work and also anxious to hear about the zoom Unless its a tilt zoom it won't show the cup if they zoom now that area would be gone if I get it right I think anyway would need to tilt up to zoom on the cup are Right?
Yes indeed it is amazing SHIRLEY the temperature fluctuations you are reporting!
Yes JO it is a bit disappointing that we more than likely will not see the pip, but then again maybe we will be able to tell that something is happening from the behaviour???
Judie.. Don't be too mysterious.... Unless you just plain old want to keep things to yourself...I understand that.... I read "One Step Forward and Five Steps Backward...." I hope you have rebounded and all are Forward now
Blacwater Bobbleheads are really moving around that nest now AND there was the sighting of a first osprey, pic is on the BWO site
AND PS TO ANDREA... THANK YOU FOR CHECKING IN, AND I HOPE YOU AND KEN CAN GET EVERYTHING FIGURED OUT AND WORKING TO YOUR ADVANTAGE.... I KNOW YOU ARE THE BEST HELP-MATE TO YOUR DEAR KUBBY, AND A GREAT SOURCE OF COMFORT.... XOXOX (( HUGS ))
Andy..glad you could check in..sorry to hear if the fender mess..an attorney sounds like a good idea....
Have had a good day..pretty weather here. We trimmed some tall grasses our front. Neighbor came over to help. Then got cleaned up and visited some friends of Larry's ...came home..got Larry out a snack...now he is snoozing ..bless his heart ..he is tuckered out and napping
lolly ..those redwoods are so beautiful ...i hiked thru some of them around big sure...amazing...Hoda...hard to believe dragon boating is beginning already .. Snow......nooooo
Paula, read today about Hall of Famer, Jim Kelly of the Buffalo Bills. He has jaw cancer. Said he came out about it to inform others going through it also. I bet a google search is all it would take to find info on him. Just a thought.
Thanks Suzan ... Larry's diagnosis is throat cancer...stage 4..Based upon size and that it metastasized ...but they feel they got it all...the radiation and chemo will be tougher than the surgery ... but he will overcome ...the chemo doctor felt Very positive about Larry's outcome..i think he has the best team in the area...
Guess what? I got one of the Jeopardy question answers lol Love Boat Anyone remember that one Kay I know you are with Seth - but maybe you were watching lol
Along with everyone else, I am soooooo sick of winter and snow and cold.
Andy, do hope you and Kubby can get all the paperwork in order and the lawyer will guide you through this process successfully. Cannot imagine the situation you two are in after 48 years.
Isn't it interesting that wild animals sense when to make adjustments without a weather channel? Extra flugg is a good thing. Flugg tucked in is an even better thing.
Margy, did not mean walking. Meant I found all but two grocery items (step forward) so had to stop at another grossery (two steps back), etc. Actually, left leg feels fairly good, no burning or pain. Right leg is still burning. A topic for discussion next Wed.
Thanks to Judie for your response to my question, quite relieved it was "only" a grocery store malfunction, otherwise it sounds like you are coming along OK
Paula, glad to "see" you, this sounds like a relaxing and restful week-end for you and Larry
and now, Good Night in Advance, Precious Pals...
Prayers for Wellness, and some long hours of Especially Sweeeeet Sleep
Yoga class with a young teacher and some loud film track music!!! The practice became the effort to not leave and or ask her to turn down the music or even better turn it off completely. She was so happy with her plan for the day and it would not have been a good idea to shatter her do good idea of what was happening. I succeeded.she gave me a hug and told me I did awesome. I said thank you and was very happy I was not critical...
PAULA, praying for LARRRY. The Dragon Boat will go in the water in April at the earliest. It snowed heavily in the mountains today. I am skiing tomorrow and going out to a higher pass on Tuesday.
Saw plates today from Maine, Vermont, New York, and Rhode Island...all here for skiing I heard them say.
LOLLY awesome about the live eagle nest. Take pictures and post please.
GDub lost to VCU. Sad for the team. But, this is the culmination of a really amazing season.
Yes, Margy. All the steps backward were stupid. Another fun example: went to the dry cleaner - dry cleaner moved - a step backward. Who moves a freakin' dry cleaner?
Headed to the pillows. Sandperson is preparing to pack a large satchel. Will depart by 11pm.
Hoda must beware of gardens and bear-clawed trees. Evil Jufie can don multiple personalities.
I got a odd email from Thelma and that is the subject matter also I notice HODA on it also plus others and Eagle Momsters along with WV Gal Dana there is a link which I am not opening Geula also is on the list
You are right JUDYE. I got the Thelma email and did not think I wanted to click on the link. I deleted. I do with all liks that have no introductions or comments from the sender.
Sorry about GDub's loss, Judie. But great that they had a good season. Do take care of both of your legs.
Oh, I do hope that we do not get another big snow. My crocuses have managed to bloom, but they seem quite timid. Other spring flowers are trying to emerge.
Nest looks peaceful. Nice to know there is plenty of flugg.
We have had dinner and trying to relax! I am just pooped! We hiked 3 or 4 miles today. The rangers at the ranger station were so friendly and really helpful. When he told us about the eagles nest, he wanted to know if we were up to some effort. We both thought...strenuous hiking. But no, it is a drive! Lol. Can handle that!
Paula, keeping Larry in thought and prayers. He is going to be okay, but know the road will be rough. So thankful you have each other!
Margy....you know we can not travel without sending you post cards!!! :)

My delete--I got too excited over my latest feather !
GA. Berry College Mom feeding her growing eaglet. So cute and trying to struggle out of the cup.
Good morning,
Late start this morning. Wow, that wind is still blowing out there.
Sunshine on the nest. Windy there.
Good morning my eagle budlets. Hate watching all the wind at the nest but I would rather have that than snow.
Good morning again ♥
Thanks Steve for the fresh new thread and your guys have the still cam up & running smoothly. Thanks so much for
"your guys" They are great!
Kay - thanks for the call over !
Sharon - you keep those 3" of snow over in Bluefield
Fluff in abundant and our eagles are snuggled down.
KAY - no recent remarks from Dana or Lori. Hopefully their busy schedules will soon allow them time to come and visit.
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDS
YEAH THE STILL IS WORKING AGAIN
.
THANKS STEVE FOR THE CAMERA FIX
AND THE NNEW THREAD
BOO HOO BOO HOO I can't get the live feed up at all get Message error 404 Page Not Found the page you requested cannot be found and I am trying and it just lock up the page and the blue circle just sits there will keep ttrying I had it up but with a update on puter
shut down and when I brought it back up no go at all
Persistence pays off I got the live feed up after maybe about 20 attempts
I see the temp at the nest is 22 and the wind has somewhat died down and I also see the bad stick is no longer in the area where the eagle is but there is one at 5
and the arrow is also persistent .
around didn't get even one min on the cam
Our temp is 58° so we got part of the cold front also I get to pick up Jordyn she got all her homework done last night
LOL LOL OK LOLLY WHAT WINE would go with CROW
just on a talk show that she said she would eat crow if something happened Now that it is happening she has to eat crow and she asked that question WHAT WINE would you choose I thought was so funny I thought I would ask our wine tasting expert and ask the DOG also
anyone else notice that the sound isn't as good as yesterday It is still windy but not coming across on the speakers
or maybe its the stopping and stalling of the cam I let the arrow spin and then it starts again but I wonder if Steve would have any idea why it does this When it wasn't like this for years
Good morning! In answer to you question, Judy, Jack says Thunderbird wine! LOL
We are getting the cave tour today after all. Ash emailed her friend and they are squeezing us in at one! Yea!
Also, going to Fritz winery to get a bottle of wine and a set of glasses for Laurel and Joey. Fritz being their last name.
So is the live cam down? Did the wind do that?
While I'm waiting on the wind to stop blowing so hard (I have legal errands to attend to), I thought I'd explain the name of 'GEORGE' on the cremains urn.
For many years, Gene called all children, whose name he didn't know, GEORGE, until he learned their real name. Some, he continued to call GEORGE long after he knew their names. One 4 year old, who was our church's acolyte, would walk past him after lighting the candles and wink and say 'Hi George', making many of us laugh out loud. The story of GEORGE goes on, and so does the name...thus GEORGE is engraved on the urn~
Wind was supposed to stop at noon, that hasn't happened.
MY cam has been running almost 50 min now
HI dear sweet WANDA so good to hear from you Always thinking of you
Who ever is in the nest is piling up flugg to their sides
Has anyone else noticed the sound on the cam isn't to par ????
BRRR I just looked at the weather temps on the page and feels like is 11° at the nest norm temps is 26°
no wonder the flugg is being piled up
Winds say 24mph forgot to add
Ok gonna go do some stuff again before I have to go get Jordyn probably go to playworld
chilly out will have to see where she wants to go
Afternoon, all!
Larry got back early afternoon yesterday...we had a nice dinner and a nice evening.
Larry says he is feeling his best so far...which is "pretty good".
We will head to his beach house for the weekend, so he can visit with some of his friends. :)
Cold and VERY windy here!
So good to see Wanda on here. Much love and hugs to you Wanda!!!!
Looks like Belle on the nest.
It is still a very windy afternoon and temps tonight should be around 15° but on Friday they are up to 55°
Go Figure ♥
Can't be sure Paula who is in the nest - we are just darn lucky the nest didn't blow away today! Short tail feathers seem to mean Shep
FB Eagle cam got a nice shot of both in the nest on their site.
My pal and grandson James....
became first "George" and then
"James-George" after meeting
Gene.....
Love it to this day....
and Jo, I love that your two great grandsons acquired that name also...
that is one of the very dear visits that I had to miss because of work
Paula: Wonderful, what you report about Larry
Hello Eagle Pals
xoxox
Thanks Steve for this New Thread and for you and your "guys" work restoring the Still Cam
and Congrats and thanks, Kay, for
the discovery and the Shout Out
Lovins' and HUGS to you, Wanda...
I also cherish your posts, each and every one,
I always have
Sorry about the tree-down, but
happy it did not damage your
trail cam
Lolly: You Go Girl!
What an amazing round of adventures and expeditions you and Jack are experiencing....
Way Cool, grabbing up some Fritz
glasses: Nice Touch !!!
I read that Janet experienced the double "joy" [not...!] of the
Night and Energy Bandits last night....
I did NOT send them over to visit,
promise.....but I have not seen them for a few days either
Cold and Windy allrighty, but if dressed right, as I was earlier,
it made for a GREAT day to walk,
around the downtown streets of Martinsburg....including to the library and the train station
20 articles of clothing, including
shoes, hat and gloves and everything
from the outside in....
did the trick
only thing not pull up, pull over, or slip on were the boots with laces
JudyE,
you must know...by now....I cannot comment on wind on the nest of how long it takes to come up or stay up,
just cannot fool with it right now,
computer limitations for one thing
But thanks for your nest reports
AND THOSE OF ALL OTHERS....I'D LIKE
TO GET MORE "READY" BEFORE HATCHING TIME
XO TTFN
BEST WISHES FOR A GOOD EVENING,
EVERY ONE
Hi all!
Later!
Don't know why but my buttermilk
pancakes just don't taste like IHops.
So much knowledge about everything that young
man had. The contestants with him last evening followed his game plan and hit the higher $ questions first.
I enjoyed the 2 women opponents and at the end and the new winner was announced, that young lady could not stop shaking with delight!
Was fun to watch the young woman do so well at Jeopardy last night, but then she did not win tonight.
The two women really clobbered Arthur, didn't they, Jo?
Yes Shirley they really did
He looked like he didn't feel too well or just wasn't with it - like he burned out!
I am hanging out with Hallmark tonight..
BBL
good evening to all!
THANK YOU STEVE FOR THE NEW THREAD!
well, not a lot else. will check in again before bedtime. hope everyone is doing well.
evening all...
wow,it's been a BAD week, at work, and outside, too, with deaths, illnesses, etc. Looking forward to the weekend and relaxing!
Hi Lynne,
Hope you have an enjoyable weekend.
I changed - I am hanging out with 48 hours
Hi Janet and Lynne and Shirley
Hope you all stay warm!
BBILW
Good evening.
Night light is on. Restful sleep for all.
JANET so happy you get to go see Chris and have some time off
Had a nice evening out Went to Beef O Brady for dinner
Wind has finally died down tonight.
SED, love and hugs to all!
getting ready for bed. need to dent the pillows.
SED to one and all! nighty night.
On to the redwoods tomorrow!
Shirley was here at 8:58
Well I gave up on TV.
I am going to close down and get a good night's sleep without any loud thunderstorms at midnight I hope.
Everyone take care - stay warm overnight since higher temps will be here tomorrow.
SED and AOYP Goodnight ♥
Such a terrific day.
Spring is on its way.
Glad of the happenings reported here.
Love and Light to all
Good night
Hi,
I haven't washed any socks today!
Not really sure where they are, to tell you the truth.
I think the wind has calmed down a bit. Sunday night sounds interesting.
Yawning. Going to say good night to everyone. SED.
Wait a minute, wait a minute......it is only 9:08 here!
Lol
We just finished dinner!
Wild life report. So far we have seen deer, a herd of elk, one bald eagle, bunny rabbits, many hawks, and a Jack rabbit.
Tomorrow we head to the redwoods. Hope to camp in the park and get some hiking in!
After that we go to Sea Perch RV Park in Yachats, Oregon.
A Jack Rabbit, of course you should see such a creature, Lolly!
Continue, the two of you, to enjoy this wonderful getaway
And a Bald Eagle, how Heavenly!
Paula....sounds like things are lining up very systematically for Larry, glad to hear of the Nutrition and Eating discourse....
Best Wishes to you both in the days and weeks to come,
and Enjoy YOUR week-end getaway
Prayers for Wellness, All Around Amongst Us
RED FRIDAY, IT IS RED FRIDAY NOW...ON THE EAST COAST...
GOD BLESS OUR MILITARY, EVERY DAY
God Bless Us,
Every One xoxo
Nite all! SED! Time to hit the pillow!
Goodorming my eagle friends - it's finally Friday! What a long week this has been.
Lynne, sorry to hear it's been a tough week for you at work - spend some extra time with the pigs and the donkeys this weekend. They should cheer you up.
Hoping for a check-in from Lori soon.
Have a great day everyone.
Good Morning SANDI
BRIAN visit tomorrow!
YAY
LORI posts on FB periodically
You are right.
Miss her here.
Coming to an end of ski season.
Tuesday will be the last ski for me.
Bicycle time to follow.
Snow tires need to be changed.
Will do so on the 20th
Busy today with Yoga, meetings, coffee with a Dragon Boat Founder. Club still has stress. Registeration tomorrow.
good RED FRIDAY morning to all!
slept deeply and well last night. Thank you SANDMAN.
feeling great this morning. ready to rock some massages today!
temps are in the 40s this morning, but rain heading our way. even though i'd rather do some yardwork on sunday, we do need a bit of rain.
hope everyone has a lovely day. thinking of each of you as you go thru your day. (((hugs))))
Good morning.
Heading out to see how I fare with chores, etc.
Wishing everyone a terrific day.
BBL
Good RED Friday morning to all ♥
I am getting a late start - had the newspaper in front of me and there were some interesting headlines that caught my eye.
Thinking of WANDA & wishing her a good day.
Would love to see the Redwoods like Lolly and Jack are going to see today. My bucket list is so long ♥
both eagle in Good morning
moving sticks big time
Poof one
and now on the eggs
Good Red Friday morning!
Just saw an egg roll at the nest. Sunny there.
Hunter's latest thing--
His bus comes at 7:30.
Good RED FRIDAY Morning Eagle Buds !!!
Just saw egg roll also and at the nest - everything looks good
Hello Friends!
I'll be back......
xoxo
Thinking I might go down for some breakfast--
Wondering if there is a launch adjustment on my toaster--
Last night, it launched a slice of toast high into the air.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Well, I must be off.....
Hmm, "dry camping."
In that luxurious camper, Lolly and Jack are not going to be exactly roughing it. :)
Food delivery at the nest.
Looks like part of a fish. Maybe Shep had a bit of breakfast and brought the remnants.
Belle's eating.
Thinking of LORI Hang in there gal We know you can make it
Thanks for bringing the message over KAY so good she reached out to you
LINDA so sorry about the headaches
Knock on wood I have only had one headache that I can remember
just send in the stiff socks to retrieve the toast
Have not seen the young lady recently, Kay.
Toast has been flying up and landing on top of the toaster for awhile, Kay. This time it went way beyond that.
I'm just thinking that when it is time, we are not going to be able to see a 'pip' in the egg. :(
Panda nap time for Bao Bao
Mom is very restless and prancing
Atlanta panda girls in the hammock with some bamboo to play with - I don't think they eat it yet at their age. Lun Lun is also prowling around the day room......
I always try to watch "NEW TRICKS"
at 2pm. PBS show - cold cases and the
group of 4 investigators are so very enjoyable! The 3 men are retired policemen and their leader is a woman-
lots of laughs and also intriguing
mysteries to solve.
BBL
Shirley, the vision of your toaster launching a piece of toast made me LOL!~ Sorry!!
It was kind of amusing, Paula.
Was able to retrieve the toast with a broom handle.
Baked salmon loaf and creamed potatoes plus a veggie - probably peas
I am hungry - Sounds better then pizza for this meatless Friday.
EAGLE IN
And I thought those socks were a fashion statement all their own and did not have to match anything !
Glad to see you got your errands run, Kay. No guests for dinner this evening - just us two.
With Jeopardy, Kay I did mention on Thurs about the contestants with him followed his game plan and hit the higher $ questions first. It worked.
Ready to sit down. Keep an eye on our nest.
BBL
Glad I ran errands before high winds kicked up. Gusts of 40-50 mph and small twigs and limbs flying wild. I hate to even go out with Penny and just pray neither of us gets konked on the head. Timing is bad as the groundskeepers spent the a.m. picking up limbs, branches, twigs that had fallen all through the winter. It's wonderful to be surrounded by lots of trees, but can be hazardous at times !
On Jeopardy--I noticed that strategy too, Jo. They were jumping all around the board.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Egg roll!
Bandit still won't sleep - Picture has him with his head in a Dunkin
Donut bag...
Dogs have been fed - people haven't. Later all.
evening all....
I'd have been here sooner but I got hit in the head with a flying piece of toast...I suspect the evil Jufie had something to do with toaster sabotage.
LOL
Actually, with the wind the other day, I was wondering if dog poop might go flying out of my yard.
Flying toast is better.
Been wondering about Jufie, too, Lynne. I thought I heard an evil cackle when the toast went flying.
I love Us.
The food you are cooking Hoda may even taste better in your friend's house - especially if you sit outside
if it is warm enough.
Hi Lynne - Sorry you got a knock in the head lol
I finished my first mystery on PBS
Now I think my only option is to be here or watch Hawaii Five O. Of course then the Blue Bloods are on.
BBL
Good evening eagle bud Doesn't look windy but it sounds windy at the nest can hear it on the speakers Nice to know they are working
Had a great evening and day with Jordyn
Good Evening, Eagle Pals....
I see many have checked in through the day, and many of us "have each other's backs" relaying important
messages, like Kay with Lori,
Jo with Sandi and then Sandi herself!
Waiting on Judie...
hoping she managed her chores OK today!
Lynne2: Hope your busy and not so good week ends on a High Note, maybe you will see more Tundra Swans....
xoxo
Enjoy reading about your
Lake House adventures, Hoda....
I had similar enjoyabilities
at The Big House...for nine months!
I generally just used the microwave,
and the slow cooker
but the place was fully accommodating in many ways including the best mattress and bed in the whole wide world
doctor appointment this morning:
hand-wrist has a little more healing to go, I am written to return to work on March 22,should be good to go
Still taking things easy
And won't have to worry about
slogging around on Monday if we get
"weather" - I just just stay home and watch it

Goodnight ♥
Long day. One step forward and five steps backward. Just one of those days.
Dinner over. Watched GDub defeat UMass. Go GDub!
Sandperson has long ago departed with a large satchel of sleepy dust.
Night light is on. Restful sleep for all.
late Friday night check in. its been busy.
work was good. came home, got the kid, and then I put the carpet protector vinyl down in the camper.
Have enjoyed a few chuckles today.
My former principal and some others are lamenting the forecast and expressing concerns about the big tests they're preparing kids for.
I posted lamentations about missing bowling. Some days, retirement is especially nice.
Kathryn went out to buy baseball shoes for Hunter, and I mentioned we're out of bread, and, I'd really like some kind of dessert stuff.
Sometimes it is really nice to have someone else do the shopping.
Shoes, bread, and ice cream were purchased, among other things. Oh, and another pair of those socks.
Fitz water bottles, Lolly. Cool. They will have plenty of use for water bottles as they participate in their sports activities.
Something dark in the nest. I suppose it's a stick or a nestover.
Hunter must like the new clothes I bought him. I heard happy sounds, then he hauled them away to his room.
Sounds like shorts are not going to be the fashion of choice on Monday, though. Maybe another snow day. Geesh.
Good night, my friends.
Looks very peaceful at the eagle nest.
SED.
Good night
God Bless
See you in the morning.
Sorry about the snow. Hope it does not happen.
Going to shut down for the nght!
SED!!
Good Morning Eagle Buds
looks like it 50° at the nest
Looks like Belle in the nest her head is to us all looks quite at the nest I can hear little wind
both eagle in
Goodorming Judy and all my eagle friends.
Geez!!!
Have a good day everyone.
Congratulations on the win, Judie!
Good morning,
Wrote the above post last night, but did not post it then.
I have been interested in the airplane mystery, too, Sandi. Have been keeping up with events. It will be interesting to hear Brian's thoughts on the politics involved.
Good morning
BRIAN will visit with SANDI today.
Blessed Be.
Very upsetting about the plane.
Military radar picked its signal 15 minutes after civilian radar lost its signal!
It was diverted twice after that!
Not Good I am afraid!
God Rest Their Souls.
Hi, Everyone,
Well, I've been MIA again.
I ♥ us!!!
Good Morning to all ♥
I also turn on the world news when my feet hit the floor hoping that some definite information is there about the plane - so many ideas being checked without any conclusions.
Wow, Andy. What a complicated situation.
I hope you get things worked out without too much trouble or expense. A lawyer sounds like a good idea.
Hoda - I am happy you made the decision to 'house sit' - It sounds like a beautiful home you are watching
The grounds are awesome! I remember pictures you posted on FB last year.
I am glad you are moving your things in to make you more comfortable.
Lots of new flugg in our nest
Come Sunday with more snow it will be very useful.
Thank you JO.
Kootenay Rhythm Dragon Registration Day today.
Season starts in May.
10th Year Anniversary year we will have to find a way to mark it.
Beautiful Morning here.
Enjoy the day everyone.
Thanks Judy for the pics of the nest from this morning. ♥
The redwood pics from Lolly on FB are breathtaking. No way could you HUG A Redwood ! That would take a large group hug. Beautiful!
Good Morning Eagle Buds !!!
JANET, the motor home looks mighty posh and might comfortable to me. Wishing you, Tom and Olivia many happy miles !
Oops, that second might was supposed to have a "y" on the end, too.
New eagle cam for me to watch
MNBound.com solar powered cam
http://www.ustream.tv/mneaglecam
Beautiful nest with 3 eggs
Good morning! Kay we frequently park for the night at KOA's. They are consistently the cleanest and nicest. Also look for Good Sam parks.
Going into the Redwoods today. So sorry it is hard to get pics onto a blog. So easy on fb!
Quite chilly here but sunny!
gotta run! Later Gators!
LOLLY, good to know about KOA. Some in AZ were downright pathetic back a few years---probably due to the economy. We had a Good Sam in Bullhead City that always thrived due to the short drive across the Colorado River to the casinos in NV.
Good afternoon from Rehoboth !
FYI...I emailed Steve ...we do have zoom on the cam.
Just a scare - turned off my computer to be sure I had connected with the new links and COULD NOT get it to come on. Hubby called Dell and got an instant fix WHoo Hoo
They say it could be the power supply in the hard drive and will be here on Tues to fix it.
I only see the tail end of our eagle now
Good afternoon everyone.
Okay, enough. BBL
Hi,
I am smiling picturing Hoda in the front of the dragon boat holding a dragon flag wafting in the wind.
Love you all to the moon and back...
Home from work and also anxious to hear about the zoom Unless its a tilt zoom it won't show the cup if they zoom now that area would be gone if I get it right I think anyway would need to tilt up to zoom on the cup are Right?
I see nest is 60 with thunderstrom warnings with snow coming eventually
Going from 60 degrees to snow in a 24-hour period is remarkable, isn't it?
Yes indeed it is amazing SHIRLEY the temperature fluctuations you are reporting!
Yes JO it is a bit disappointing that we more than likely will not see the pip, but then again maybe we will be able to tell that something is happening from the behaviour???
Very happy to read the LARRY reports PAULA.
I miss SHAR.
Good Evening, Eagle Pals
Yes, it was very sunny today,
and quite breezy, skies were So Blue!
Good Report, Sandi...well, not about the sadness part, but about the positive adjustments through the last week....
Enjoy this precious Family Time
xo
Judie..
Don't be too mysterious....
Unless you just plain old want to keep things to yourself...I understand that....
I read "One Step Forward and Five
Steps Backward...."
I hope you have rebounded and all are Forward now
Blacwater Bobbleheads are really
moving around that nest now
AND
there was the sighting of a first osprey, pic is on the BWO
site
The Royal Nest is looking
really comfy and well-flugged
these days
Good news there could be a Zoom in
our future
suppertime looms large...
ttfn xoxox
OH LOLLY: THE POST CARD IS GREAT,
YOUR MESSAGE IS GREAT, AND THAT STAMP, THE BLUE HUMMINGBIRD...THANK YOU SO MUCH....
!! XOXO
AND PS TO ANDREA...
THANK YOU FOR CHECKING IN,
AND I HOPE YOU AND KEN CAN
GET EVERYTHING FIGURED OUT
AND WORKING TO YOUR ADVANTAGE....
I KNOW YOU ARE THE BEST HELP-MATE TO YOUR DEAR KUBBY, AND A GREAT
SOURCE OF COMFORT....
XOXOX (( HUGS ))
Looks like Shep is nodding off
I got a snip of him with his mouth open or beak open but I heard not a peep
did you notice how deep the flugg is on his chest to the white area
he looks like he keeps dozing off Belle should be showing up soon
Andy..glad you could check in..sorry to hear if the fender mess..an attorney sounds like a good idea....
Have had a good day..pretty weather here. We trimmed some tall grasses our front. Neighbor came over to help. Then got cleaned up and visited some friends of Larry's ...came home..got Larry out a snack...now he is snoozing ..bless his heart ..he is tuckered out and napping
off eggs
diggin and egg roll and now down again
Good evening to all ♥
That flugg is going to really serve a good purpose if we actually get 4"
of the white stuff Sun night into Mon.
I so want Winter weather to go away.
I love that is is still daylight. Some of the little critters are still running around the yard and deck.
he is now sideways and pulling up flugg in front of him
love how he is tucking it in on his side also
lolly ..those redwoods are so beautiful ...i hiked thru some of them around big sure...amazing...Hoda...hard to believe dragon boating is beginning already ..
Snow......nooooo
was that a shadow
yep that was someone going in the attic saw it on the other cam that is behind
off eggs
poof to the right
and BELLE is in the house
Paula, read today about Hall of Famer, Jim Kelly of the Buffalo Bills. He has jaw cancer. Said he came out about it to inform others going through it also. I bet a google search is all it would take to find info on him. Just a thought.
Thanks Suzan ... Larry's diagnosis is throat cancer...stage 4..Based upon size and that it metastasized ...but they feel they got it all...the radiation and chemo will be tougher than the surgery ... but he will overcome ...the chemo doctor felt Very positive about Larry's outcome..i think he has the best team in the area...
Watching a movie on TV with hubby
Guess what? I got one of the Jeopardy question answers lol
Love Boat Anyone remember that one
Kay I know you are with Seth - but maybe you were watching lol
BBL
I remembered Love Boat, Jo.
Dinner over. Kitchen in order.
Going to put my feet up and watch some tv. BBL
Thanks to Judie for your response to
my question, quite relieved it was "only" a grocery store malfunction,
otherwise it sounds like you are
coming along OK
Paula, glad to "see" you,
this sounds like a relaxing and restful week-end for you and Larry
and now, Good Night in Advance,
Precious Pals...
Prayers for Wellness, and some long hours of Especially Sweeeeet Sleep
God Bless Us,
Every One xoxo
What a great day we had!!! Hiking in the redwoods is awesome!!
BUT, can hardly wait until tomorrow! Park ranger gave us directions to an active bald eagle nest! I think I impressed him with eagle knowledge. Lol.
Lolly,
We'll be waiting with Baited
Eagle's Breath....
Have a Great Time !!
G'Night!
[mentioned earlier: thanks
for the GREAT Post card...]
xo
Slow and unproductive day.
Restful sleep for all. Night light is on.
Paula, I am sorry that I got the diagnosis wrong. Wish him the best of outcomes.
I got a odd email from Thelma and that is the subject matter also
I notice HODA on it also plus others and Eagle Momsters along with WV Gal Dana there is a link which I am not opening Geula also is on the list
You are right JUDYE. I got the Thelma email and did not think I wanted to click on the link. I deleted. I do with all liks that have no introductions or comments from the sender.
Good evening,
Sorry about GDub's loss, Judie.
So good that Larry has your support, Paula. Hoping the the chemo is not too bad. I think it might have improved over the years.
Hunter slept in one of his new pairs of shorts last night. It seems he is pleased with them.
Winter storm watch--Oh my. We do not need that.
Goodnight
God Bless
Talk to you all tomorrow!
Going to shut down for the night!
Hugs all around! SED!
I just might be able to call the
S P L I T
Need to say good night. Feel an ocular migraine coming on. Need to rest my eyes.
SED, everyone.
I shall close down for the day ♥
God bless all of us and our loved ones
SED & AOYP
Goodnight to all ♥
