Thanks! Somebody turn off the wind! Just wanted to tell you I had a hummingbird at one of my feeders about an hour ago.

Thanks for the new thread and thanks for the invite sitting here getting caught up of some shows I had DVR NCIS, Fringe, Criminal Minds, and more BBL always lucking but hardly reading

Megan, glad you had a little visitor to brighten your day ! Have you been working on clean up, etc. all day ?

paula eagleholic said...

Yay Megan, might have to put my feeder out!

Hey floralgirl, do a market here in Iowa, and the market is named after my famous dog, in Iowa, Meagan. She was my garden helper. Anyway, I still do market here each year, with 2 new little superstars, How did ya do with the storms, anyone?

magpie said...

Well this is great
Thanks Steve
Thanks Megan for the alert.
Glad you have a hummingbird, whoa, tough day for a little tyke like that to be flying

You lost me!!! Bringing over:

Took longer than forecast, but the high winds have arrived in force. Already have lost 2 huge limbs. Wish I had a helmet.....still have to take trash out to the road!

Glo.....I think most of the drivers DON'T like it, but they have basically been told "like it or leave it"........you know....Stifle, Edith!!! It's not much of an individual talent competition anymore.

Sunday, April 17, 2011 6:43:00 PM

KayIM...Mom's Mother lived to 96, and her Dad to 94 (my Grams and Pop). We will hook up for a lunch---or whatever is appropriate for the time I get there!! I drive it straight through.....usually 14 hrs.

Yeah, we are working in the garden, just got my sweet peas in and now to get the eating peas in. Thank goodness hubby made all my gardens raised beds last year, so we can plant them without walking on them, it's so wet out there. The wind is getting fierce, been bad all day. Off to get these plants in before dark! Later:)

magpie said...

Prayers for Sharon's friend Tara, and her father and their family...
sounds like the end is near

Ms Bookworm said...

Thanks, Steve, for the new thread, and thanks, Megan, for the call over!

Well, have spent way too much time trying to get stuff done on the computer. Now that my eyes don't want to focus, guess I'll go put my feet up for a while. I find that the chair here at the computer desk tends to cut off my circulation. After a while my ankles look like they belong on an elephant! Will check back in later tonight. Have a good evening, everyone! :o]

Hoda said...

How can the other female eagle incubate...does she have a brood patch? Is one not needed to do so? I find this part of the information confusing...the female who laid the eggs must be the one with the brood patch yet from the reports here she is not incubating only the male and the female intruder...odd!!

Kay said...

Lynn, I'll count on it and look forward to it !!!!!

Kay said...

Margy, glad to see you back ! How was the day ?

floralgirl said...

That's cool, Sunseeker. I do two markets a week, and hope to get back to that after next weekend.

hedgie said...

No evening visit yet, huh??
Had read about the Jordan Lake eagles fledging....still can't get that cam to "play"....it will be off air as soon as the foliage is all out, I read.

sunseeker2 said...

After all the heartache here, ya all should check out sportmansparadise.com. Nice group of people,to watch Decorah with, and lots of people with some knowledge. You Momsters and Dadsters would feel at home there. Be back in a bit.

magpie said...

Hi Kay and all Eagle Pals
was a great day, two cute babies, a youngster girl, and lots of nice family and friends....

rivers are raging, and a few small streams....

magpie said...

You shoulda heard me hollering for DanaMo near Hagerstown, Jo near Middletown, and Lori near Frederick !!!
wonder if they heard me ☺

hedgie said...

Wow, Megan....it's a miracle the hummer can fly in this wind!

Hey, Margy......glad you are back in your roost. How was the party??? Bet it was great to see your sister again!

Kay said...

Wonderful Margy ! So glad that weather system went through early enough that your plans could go forward !

magpie said...

I took I-81 and 70 over, and 340 back home, beautiful route...could clearly see why 340 was closed, so much water cascading off the roadside cliffs...still some standing water today

My sister is a gem, was great to see her - and two of her boys, their spouses, her daughter, her spouse and three of her grandchildren and one on the way ☺
and some of their friends

hedgie said...

Hoda, I can't answer your question. Maybe he doesn't realize that she doesn't have a brood patch. Or maybe the temps have reached a point where the body temp isn't as critical???

paula eagleholic said...

Hoda, I didn't see the female at Maine incubate, was only eating, then perching on the Y branch, then it took off.

sunseeker2 said...

Glo... still need to get you info. Been helping out in East Dubuque, flooding. Need to get you my e-mail, the New York Daily is coming in to do my story in the next 10 daays.

Hoda said...

Thank You Hedgie and Paula...I am watching the White Rock nest as an egg is due to hatch as of today...there are two eggs there. Thanks for the clarity Paula and for the possibilities as to what might be going on in Maine hedgie ...The views at White Rock are stunning. Two cameras and I like the resolution of the picture...Still some winds your way I read, may they calm down soon...the Robin nesting on your porch brought me a smile Paula, they are beautiful.

sunseeker2 said...

Floragirl, so cool. I started a market here in 1990, flood took my house out twice, last one in 08 took everything.Longtime on the fire dept. and drove the meat wagon for years too, not to old yet, so even though I am in my 50's , most say I have weathered well. One thing we do here when we find a dead raptor, is check for West nile. Hope you can maybe see if that is going to be done. Thankyou, so glad you momsters weathered the storm.

Kay said...

Heading for TV or a book. My bowing out many bring Belle and/or t. on, it seems to work quite often !!! BBL

sunseeker2 said...

Hoda my dear. Are you all talking about Maine, whew! What a year it has been, need something good to happen so soon.

paula eagleholic said...

Yea, Sun, Hoda and I were discussing the Maine nest...wonder when Dad will give up.

magpie said...

oh I am all mixed up and around on comments see Megan answered before I asked...good report...
glad things are coming along

nice to hear what so many of you are involved in and what your interests are ☺

Hoda said...

Yes Sunseeker I should have mentioned Maine...I think I was confused so I put my question out assuming that I was clear and I was not...My questions were about the Maine nest and the female intruder. Questions have been answered. Thanks

sunseeker2 said...

Hey Paula, your flooding is worse now. I am tryng hard to establish watershed projects, all over the U.S.A. Feel for you all, I do travel, but cannot document the whole thing right now. I love your group here, the story that will follow. Just hang on, keep your faith. When my story hits the N.Y.Daily, you will be the 1st . to know. Ya'll should check out the "sportsmanparadisse.com" link to Decorah. It is the ustream link, not xcel energy, but a nice chat group, and you momsters would love it. Hugs to all of you!!

paula eagleholic said...

Thanks, Sun, will do that. Haven't visited that in a long time.

I have to admit I am happy to hear folks can laugh at the happenings in the nest. That is good and laughter is certainly needed. Yet I think "Why did we all including our pair lose so much for ..."?such well I can't find the word "lack of uuum" what am I looking for? Well you can fill it in but sounds like lots is missing indeed.

Hoda said...

Poor old chap!!! He does not know which end is up!!! Why does she put up with him, the gene pool can not be what she is looking for!!!

paula eagleholic said...

I don't know if he vocalized this time or not...can't wait for sound to come back...I want to hear what he sounds like....perhaps Daffy Duck?

sunseeker2 said...

It has been a difficult year, for eagle watching people, along America's East coast. A long time couple, in Sheperdstown, W.V., has had another year of drama. Liberty, the long time mate of Belle, the long time love of the local eagle female Belle, has not been seen now for

Every little tiny step we take forward, take a hand, join in, will make the long, long road a mile shorter. Maybe that is what it is all about. New beginnings.

M. Barta/city of palo

Hoda said...

He did vocalize Paula I saw his beak opening and it was so funny to see his being so very clueless!!! I agree with you it will be good when the sound is back on and I hope it does not make for a poorer quality picture. It has improved a lot with the sound off.

magpie said...

osprey was roosted at BWO but now gone

also, think you probably saw post that the ospreys were at Finland Fin-Ferry this morning, put pics on Feathers link

Hopes for a successful nest year for them, last year, did not work out well :(

things to do here, will catch back up later on

Best wishes for a good evening everyone - Watch for that Full Moon Rising !

Lolly and Lynn
hope you both feel better soon,
kick the sniffles and the achies !

Linda said...

Hoda - Your certainly right about the beauty and great resolution at the White Rock Eagle nest. Right now Mom and Dad are just hanging out on the nest and the wide angle view is just gorgeous with the two of them.

I just saw another eagle fly by the nest, too!! They were screaming at the eagle as it passed over.

magpie said...

Daffy Duck, Paula, ROFLMBO !

sunseeker2 I think part of your post got lost...

Linda said...

Margy - Glad you had a great day visiting with your sister and family!!

Hoda said...

Pa Lynn- Linda I am so glad you saw them I keep checking for a pip and none so far as I can see. Bothe still on nest, I did see the flying eagle too and their fuss is awesome...

Linda said...

What a beautiful picture that is with the two eagles swaying in the nest in the sunshine with the water behind them!!

stronghunter said...

Oh my, poor Truder really does not have a clue. The scary thing is that if he gets it right, he will eventually become a father and fatherhood requires another skill set.

TEAM LIBERTY!!

stronghunter said...

sunseeker, the middle part of your post is missing. I really want to read it.

stronghunter said...

I guess we can hope he will not be able to reproduce until he can handle the responsibilities, but that might be too much to hope for. It does not work with human beings.

magpie said...

Moon, is UP !

stronghunter said...

Daffy Duck! Snicker, snicker.

stronghunter said...

Taxes are filed. Yeah! I can say I did not wait until the last day to file.

GrannieKay said...

Hi all.
Hubby and I are back from the Carolina Raptor Center. Had a real nice trip and a great walk around looking at all the birds. Spent some time trying to see Savannah and Derek's eaglet. I think I got a peak at him but they had a tarp blocking off the viewing area so that he would not become use to people.

At one point something must have approached the nest because all of a sudden both parents started screaming, jumped down from their low perch which is only 10-15 ft away and went running as fast as they could to the nest screaming the whole time. One ran to the eaglet and stayed there screaming while the other went running after something the other way screaming the whole time. I couldn't see what it was but it ran off through the fence at the back with the adult hot on it's tail. I figured it was probably a squirrel.

We had a great afternoon there. Watched the live educational show and spent some time on the trail with one of the keepers and a great horned owl. She answered all kind of questions. For a rehab center it was great and all the birds that we saw looked great.

Loved every minute of it.

Linda said...

Good for you, Shirley!! A day early!

magpie said...

Congrats Shirley !

have to apologize to Jo
just added one pic from Apr 15, one from Apr 16, and a few from this evening in the E-M album, which puts them out of order from when Lynn added her GREAT shot of clumsy bum and his backwards ways

magpie said...

love your little owl avatar, Shirley by the way

Hello and So long to all for awhile now,
much much to do here !

magpie said...

GREAT report GrannieKay...sorry I had missed that a few mins ago

Good for you two !
wow, drama, all that screaming, protective eagles, must have been a sight to see, and HEAR

stronghunter said...

So glad you got to go, GrannieKay! Hmm, you would think the eagle might have grabbed the squirrel up for dinner, but maybe they are too used to being fed by humans.

stronghunter said...

Thanks, Margy, I think I have used the little owl before. It looks vaguely familiar.

stronghunter said...

I would think that a squirrel entering a cage full of eagles would be living dangerously.

glo said...

Sounds wonderful GrannieKay

Lolly said...

Hi all! Loved the reporting on the nest visit tonight. Anxious to see a video. Sounds like Turd Bird aka Daffy Duck has a lot to learn.

Spent the afternoon outside, it was beautiful. I am feeling just fine. It was all allergies and I am sure it was from the smoke in the air. Several people I have talked with have been affected as well. No sneezing tonight and no running of the nose.

stronghunter said...

So the smoke is gone at least for now, Lolly? I hope so.

floralgirl said...

The moon is really beautiful out there now!

stronghunter said...

I got out a bit, too. Kathryn asked Zachary (Tom's nephew) to come mow, and he and his girlfriend came over and worked hard. He messed with our two mowers and got them both started, though the electric starter on the one mower isn't working too well. I went out and did a few things.

It was a beautiful day, though there was a crisp breeze blowing.

paula eagleholic said...

Moonlight is doing a good job tonight...hey I should go out and see the real moon!

stronghunter said...

I will have to go take a look at the moon.

Lolly said...

Have not noticed smoke today, though I do know the fires are still burning. The wind picked up around noon, but no smoke...thank goodness.

It was strange. The weather report Friday evening showed the pattern for the smoke. Never seen that before. Laurel said she saw it and thought she should get the smoke in about 15 minutes...sure enough in about that time she could smell it.

paula eagleholic said...

Aw shucks, clouds in the way at the moment, will have to check in a little while.

stronghunter said...

My brother has sent me pictures of the smoke from fires they've had in Colorado in previous years. Not what you like to see.

GrannieKay said...

We were really thrilled with the place. The walkways were covered with a fine crushed gravel and no steep hills to climb. I was a bit worried that we might not be able to walk it. I have serious lung problems and usually have to use a wheel chair for distance and hubby has congestive heart failure and is just getting over a few months of being in real bad shape but they had benches here and there so we could set and rest and watch the birds and managed to walk the whole thing. It was a two hour drive each way. Beautiful weather. Not to hot and quite wooded there.
We were even treated to seeing several hummers flickering about.

stronghunter said...

We went out this afternoon and planted a tree Hunter brought home from school--a blue spruce about six inches tall. We put a stake beside it so we wouldn't mow it down. It probably isn't tall enough to need staking for any other reason.

Maybe it should have been planted in a pot for awhile. I grew a maple tree that way for awhile before I planted it in the yard. The seed just landed in a flower pot and I let it grow a couple of years. It's now in the back yard.

stronghunter said...

I am so happy to learn that people are going to Huntersville to see the eagles. It is a special place for me.

stronghunter said...

And it is nice to know it is a nice place for people to take a leisurely stroll with plenty of resting spots for those who need them.

Lolly said...

I brought a Blue Spruce home from Michigan one year. Nursed that tree along...named it Bruce...and talked to it. The he just upped and died. Made me so mad! I really wanted a Blue Spruce!!!

stronghunter said...

The moon is bright and beautiful here, and I heard the peepers peeping.

stronghunter said...

Maybe they do not like the Texas climate.

hedgie said...

Wow, moon is beautiful tonight. Full! Didn't realize it was time for that yet. Love Margy's Moon of Many Names!

Lolly said...

My sister and I both bought a Blue Spruce from a nursery up in Michigan. When the lady who sold them to us found out they were going to Texas, she said she would not have sold them to us. Oh, that made me really mad. Sharon's died promptly, she lives down close to Houston. My spruce lived several years. I have seen Blue Spruce around here, not many but I have seen them.

Lolly said...

The nest is lit up nicely with the moon.

wvgal_dana said...

I hope everyone is doing well.

Prayers for those that need them; Bev's Daughter about to deliver so please pray if you didn't know. It is a early delivery.

Prayers for Carolyn's foot and her son's recovery.

Prayers for any and all that need them.

I haven't been on today so I will have to catch up tomorrow. I am tired didn't sleep well last night. Missing Ed too much---sorry can't explain it. Been in all day seeing to my Mom. She is ok just tired.

magpie said...

I had a dirt-ball Spruce tree for a special Christmas in 1979 - planted it and it grew to be about forever tall ! (well, maybe 25 feet)- was at the old place I had in Hedgesville, right in town...
when the place sold in 2004 for reasons way beyond my control...ALL the wonderful trees came down, and the Spruce was the last one...
very sad for me to realize the new owners were going to do that!

I hope Hunter's tree, grows forever and tall, Shirley ♥

magpie said...

finally found Stars of Bethlehem today, right where they should have been, about 2 weeks before now...will get them on my blog one of these busy days

magpie said...

Lolly
glad you are feeling so much better now, and
Lynn maybe you too, a little moonglow goes a long way in the feel-good department I hope ☺

stronghunter said...

Lolly, I just looked it up, and you are in hardiness zone 8, according to the map, and danged if the Colorado blue spruce isn't right there at the top of the list. But I always think of them as growing better in the north, even further north than here. We had some in Ohio.

magpie said...

Hey
my mockingbird is in a blue spruce, by the way !!

Love your cardinal avatar, DanaWV, even though I thought it was a red hershey kiss when I first glanced upon it ! ☺

((hugs to you ♥ ))

magpie said...

did NOT know that the delivery was imminent, for Bev's daughter, though knew there were complications...and it could be going that way
thanks for the info, Dana...

Prayers, big Prayers, for Mom, Baby, and family

stronghunter said...

Oh, how sad, Margy. I can't understand people who want to cut down beautiful trees.

When we built in our former neighborhood, we left a large part of the backyard wild. Just a little patch of undisturbed woods.

stronghunter said...

Prayers for Bev's family, for Carolyn and her son, and for you, Dana. I hope you sleep well tonight.

magpie said...

Shirley
when the deal was done at the lawyer's office, I shook the hands of the new owners, and said
"There are some wonderful trees on the land."
Woof, big whoop, they didn't care about that, put up two big metal garages...then left town not too long after that.
I had a little trio of trees that I called my "Chinese Sisters."
Yeah, it broke my heart into a thousand pieces

hedgie said...

GrannieKay...CRC definitely sounds like a place that Jo and I and Red and NCSuzan could handle! We are all respiratory cripples, too!!
One good thing---if the intruder had been a squirrel, he wouldn't have been after the eaglet! They aren't carnovires!! But would love to see the eagles running and screaming like that!!!

stronghunter said...

Sad, Margy. Some people just do not understand what to appreciate.

I had two pretty Bradford pears in my front yard here. They were the prettiest trees on the street, but I knew they weren't the strongest of trees. I hadn't chosen them--the builder did. The first one came down in Hurricane Isabel, and the second one came down in another storm--it split and fell on the house. I do miss them, but I know better than to plant any more of them. They were big enough for Hunter to climb in--guess he could have broken a limb, though.

Now I have a pink dogwood and a crabapple out there, but they are still pretty small.

paula eagleholic said...

My video is still uploading...

Trying to post a couple of moon shots.

GrannieKay...CRC sounds lovely! Would love to visit there someday. I didn't realize you were that close, although 2 hours is certainly a drive.

Dana, hope you fell better tomorrow. Thanks for the info about Bev's daughter, will keep them in my prayers.

Lolly said...

Oh, Margy, that is sad about the trees. Do not understand anyone who cuts down trees. We want to cry when we have any that die. When we have to take down the dead trees we plant a new ones.

There was a new shopping center that went in not too far from us. It had one huge pecan tree out by the road. They worked all around it and I thought they were going to save it and then one day it was gone. I was just sick! I was just furious!!!

Costume Lady said...

Hello:)
Watching TV, commercial now...posted a few flood photos on Wild and Wonderful blog. Water is REALLY high.
GG is still in a lot of pain, but, again, she ate all that I fixed her to eat. Remember when she would only eat baby food?:)
Hope the doctor has some news for us tomorrow, if not, I have some news for HIM!

Lolly said...

Think I am going to read now. I'll be back!

stronghunter said...

Prayers for GG, Wanda.

I want to keep blogging, but I must get things ready for tomorrow and crawl into my bed. Three days and then spring break.

stronghunter said...

Wow, you do have some flooding there, Wanda.

And I saw your picture of Nu in the sycamore tree.

Costume Lady said...

I've always loved to watch flood waters...spectacular piece of Mother Nature.
How long is your Spring break, Shirley?

Judie said...

Megan, a bright spot with a visiting hummer. Glad you had a nice surprise. Glad you were able to get some planting done and hope the soil dries out a bit.

Margie, so happy you had a nice family visit. Bet you feel refreshed.

Lynn, please remember to take your eagle cane out with you -- fends off spiders and falling branches.

Congratulations, Shirley. Now you can have a nice warm glass of something and head for the recliner. Ah, a Hunter's spruce? Yes, I think you call it a Hunter Spruce.

Kay, so glad you two had a nice visit to the CRC. Yep, probably a squirrel.

Andy, happy you had some time to exercise Emma and get her all prettied up for the week.

Tomorrow begins the final push to give birth to the end of another semester. Email from a student tonight who has not attended classes or submitted any work or taken an exam: "...when can I meet with you to find out what to do..." Well, I don't think you even need to bother. You don't have a snowball's chance in a hot rain storm.

The sandperson is sneaking up on me and I would like to catch some news. Have therapy first thing then school. Will return late tomorrow afternoon. Restful sleep for everyone.

Costume Lady said...

Of course, I do empathise with those affected from the effects of the floods. HOW'S THAT, SHIRLEY, for an example of correct usage?:)

Red said...

Lots of racoons on the Penn woods cam tonight.

wvgal_dana said...

Happy 1st Birthday Giannu bet you had cake all over you lol

stronghunter said...

Lovely, Wanda.

Oh, my, what to do when you have not attended class nor done any of the work? Maybe sign up for the class again? I guess e-mail gives the student the opportunity to approach the prof without facing her.

Red said...

paula eagleholic said...

Oh I hate seeing big beautiful tress cut down too...If I have one die, I replant as well...speaking of which, not sure if my dogwood made it. I just have NO luck with dogwoods!

startling pictures, Wanda.
Sorry to hear your Mother is still in discomfort...any x-ray results yet ??

Yes, when trees come down, it's a loss of wildlife in my book :(

I finally put Rumsey Tavern dinner pics, three, on Magpie's Roost, would have put them on Fun and Dandy but there is a spammmer watching that one
I can't do fancy label titles so you have to ready my first comment for id's

Good Night Judie.... hope all goes well in the morning
I sent you a pic by email....hope it opens for you

stronghunter said...

Yeah, Judie, I am still wondering about the student who left my class with 20 zeroes, transferred to a much lower level class, ended up with a grade of B, and is still not happy.

Red said...

Paula, Dogwoods are very slow growers too. I had one at the old place that was almost 20 years old and was still not much over my head. They are pretty when blooming though

I got a Facebook message from Candy. They are fine, though they got some bad weather. The tornadoes went west of them, and there is some damage in the weather and some power out.

My bedtime now. Diane is going to Birmingham tomorrow so we will be getting an early start.
Goodnight all! And God bless!

Candy also said that she has had some problems logging on to our blog, but she hopes to try again during spring break.

I have Thursday and Friday before Easter and Monday after Easter. Hunter has all of this week. Not too convenient, but that is the way it is.

Interesting article about Bob Anderson ... the man who put the Decorah Eagles online.

Bob Anderson's Legacy

hedgie said...

My brain is fried. My delete....thought I had said something the wrong way as I thought about it. Then when I just re-read it, realized I had it right the first time. DUH!

It is RAINING here. YUCK!

Dana----where did you hear that Bev's grandbaby is being delivered? Last email on momsters mail only said that she was having contractions. Know that they are trying desperately to get another 3 weeks before they do a section. Praying that nothing happens...29 weeks is so early.

Margy, which house was yours in the 'ville? So sorry about your wonderful trees. I know how much it hurt. That's how I feel whenever I see someone taking down a live tree or even when a good one dies. :(

hedgie said...

I remember when we lived on the mountain coming home from work one afternoon and seeing a swath 100' wide all the way from the road up to the top of the ridge where the power line was....they had come in and literally raped the hillside....and nothing was anywhere near as tall as the power lines. Made me physically ill.

Evening all!

Busy day helping move more of Mother Carolyn's things. After Steve, Friend Dave and I loaded the trucks, we were standing in front of the house chatting before we left (in Baltimore City). My eyes were to the skies as usual. I saw it coming...wasn't sure at first but had a feeling. Tapped Steve on the shoulder and said LOOK....

an EAGLE!!

I took my camera with me at the last minute "just in case". But it was in my purse in the truck and I couldn't get to it in time.

We also have a Bluebird egg...checked the box first thing this morning!

Need to get to bed...I haven't read back but I hope everyone is doing well. See you in the morrow!

HaHA, Decorah mom is drooling.

Hedgie-Lynn I had sent an email to Bev this evening. Here is what she wrote me back time is listed on email she sent me as 8:57:13pm
Thanks –you so much.

They are breaking her water tonight, so baby will arrive tonight sometime. We have to sit tight and pray as we are not allowed there right now. I am hoping that on this Palm Sunday, God will hear our Prayers.

They did an ultra sound today and baby is breathing on its own in the womb. How they tell that is beyond me, but all signs are good.

So I ma a wreck but am abiding by the wishes of the hospital.

Hugs Bev

Wanda, which Opequon Bridge in your pics??? Surely not the one on 9????
Sorry GG is so uncomfortable.

Judie, that student is certainly in for a wake-up call, isn't he??? How dumb!

BTW----the power co. did that on OUR property---they only have a 60' right-of-way.

hedgie said...

Red, are you heading to B'ham with Diane? I know my cuz hates making that trip.

hedgie said...

Sorry, I forgot to tell you about Candy...got the same message from her!

Golf Course Rd Hedgie...the stone one-lane bridge near Blairton Rd
but I am sure Wanda will answer that one

hedgie said...

Thanks, Dana......wow---can't believe they are letting her go with a vaginal delivery with an abruptio. Will worry mightily until we hear more.

wvgal_dana said...

Please put special prayers for Bev's Daughter and the baby. God step in during this delivery. Bring forth a crying healthy babe. Which will put smiles on Mom & Fiance and Grandma and Grandads faces. Guiding the doctors and nursers attending. So that we can send PRAISES IN YOU NAME FOR THIS HEALTHY BABY IN YOUR NAME I PRAY GOD...Amen

paula eagleholic said...

Yay for you Lynne! An eagle in the city! And a bluebird egg.

I don't believe Mrs Robin is incubating the eggs on my front light...maybe that is why I haven't seen her on the nest.

Lynne, if she is not incubating the eggs, would you like the nest and the eggs for Irvine? I know they do not reuse the same nest.

magpie said...

really hard to keep up, want to include all the needs in my posts, but surely DO have them all in my heart and prayers

Lolly's Zach for example with the boo boo, and Christine's father, and Bev for sure....

amongst all of us, I think by day's end we include them all in our posts.....

nice going Lynne, Eagle Sighting !

hedgie said...

Hmmm....Margy, is that the one after the rr track and before the golf course? Or is there another one closer to 45?

Lynne2 said...

Paula, if she isn't coming back, I'm sure Irvine would love to have the nest and eggs for the Discovery room!

Christie got some bad news today.....somehow her debit card number got stolen and $700 was spent in 3 locations in Philadelphia. Apparently must have been one of those things inserted into an ATM or gas pump thing......bank caught the fact that charges typical for her account occurred at the same time period at home...so they froze the account yesterday.....but she didn't know it until she tried to use the card today. And, of course, no human to talk to at the bank until tomorrow.

wvgal_dana said...

Heading for bed....may all be safe and if anyone is traveling. May God potect them.

Hope everyone gets home to their roost safe.

Need to some more time into some prayers so will be leaving for tonight ....take care ... be safe..may God take care of each and everyone one of you.

Margy knows her way around Berkeley County:)

paula eagleholic said...

LOL Liz, glad Mom is snoozin :)

Lynne, If I don't see her on it tomorrow, I'll take it down and keep it for you. I didn't see her on it at all today...and she's not on it now :(

Not sure what happened there....

paula eagleholic said...

Lynn, glad the bank caught it! Sucks when you don't have any cash and depend upon your card! I would be SOL!

I know how Red feels in the afternoon, all it takes in the evening is for me to leave and the duo will show up ! I was dozing in my recliner by the time they appeared tonight and didn't wake up til' 10. That should throw me off completely !

Thanks Paula for the video of Nestcapades ! I love seeing my coined word appearing regularly now ! Truder can certainly turn things into a comedy of errors, can't he ? As you say, this one visit should convince folks that this is not Liberty. It's a pain to watch him fiddle with branches, acting like he's really gonna do something and accomplishing nothing. Neither the HP nor nestoratons are Liberty like, at all !

Our prayer list grows daily. Thinking of all with aches, pains and heartaches with concern and love.

Hope to be on with the early birds in the morning. Night, Night ♥♥♥♥♥

got to Decorah too late to see the drooling Liz...but did see all three chicks and Mom off to the side and then Mom sitting up

Checking back in to say good night to all.

Special prayers for Bev's daughter tonight as she prepares to bring a new fragile life into this world.

Lolly - So happy to hear you had a better day today. I hope the smoke stays away. Prayers for little Zach's fast healing!

Prayers for Tara and her family as they must be going through such a difficult time tonight. If this is God's time to take her father, may he go peacefully.

Lynne2 - How awesome you saw an eagle today flying above!! What a neat surprise.

Wanda - I'm amazed at all you do for the Kingdom!! You're truly a Godly woman!

We have a couple blue spruce trees! One was so big Dennis had to move it further back on the property. It did great for almost 6 months until the heavy winds yesterday! It will need to be pulled back the other way, but I think it is ok!

Paula - Thanks for the video and story about Bob Anderson. Very interesting!

Sorry to be so talkative.....

I am sure I forgot some....but you're all in my prayers. I think this is such a wonderful group to be a part of!!
