I hear osprey...LOL... I was just saying on the othr thread there was an osprey flying over the house calling and calling...not sure if it had a fish or not
Carried over from old thread Lynn and Liesl We're h-o-m-e!!! Liesl is ADORABLE!!! Took her out first thing with no results! Let her explore a little, but starving (me!) so put her in crate while I eat. Typing with one hand!! I hollered at Sandra, Megan and Wanda/Gene as I went by their houses/roads!!
Lynn - So happy you're home with lil Liesl..... A new beginning for both of you!! I hope she has a good night tonight in her new home. She has no idea how much she'll be loved by you.....and afar by us!!! I wish you all the best!
Hedgie, I can't wait to see lots of pics!! Paula, there are lots of osprey here at the lake too! Love them! Their beauty is second only to a bald eagle!!

CONGRATULATIONS Hedgie and Liesl...It is an awesome event an establishement of a new relationship...I hope it is the one you wanted.
Paula I am smiling at your assistant with more paint on head...a true delight as an image.
Maybe tomorrow the Space Shuttle will take off. I think of Gabby Giffords and wonder if she should be back at the rehab centre in Texas, I am sure they all know what they are doing and I won't worry...
Was outside most of the day, sooooo lovely out! Think I may have seen an oriole, and I found a Pickerel Frog! Did LOTS of yard work, enjoyed watching the birds while doing my stuff. Hoda, I share your thinking on Gabby Gifford, but I'm sure they'd not put her in any danger. Prayers for a safe journey for her hubby and crew.
Paula, wow, you sure picked the exact right place to get a beach house!
Gonna ice my knee and have some Chocolate Milk....have a good night all, prayers for you!
LYNN ELLEN... so happy for you! Glad you didn't have to wait so long to get Miss Lee-sul (had to look that up). Give her an extra hug from Grandma Tiger:)♥
Cannot begin to express how happy I am for Lynn and her new Liesl. I wish them both a lifetime of happy adventures together.
Liesl, you now have the best mom possible. May you love and appreciate her as she will love and appreciate you.
The night light has been set for automatic turn on at 11:00pm. Hopefully, Shirley will not stumble in before then in an intoxicated pre-retirement euphoria. Andy will set our security alarm system when she comes in later.
Sorry, getting on late enough for "Nighty-nite"!!! Had a giant panda nap , ate half of din din, watched Barb Wawa show about the wedding & read all the rest of last blog! Lynn, so glad you fnally got Liesl!! Did you get the L you picked? Had NBG new nest up & a notice that they would be working on better transmission Sunday. So it could be up & down for awhile. Paula, sounds like a wonderful trip to your own Park!!!
For all those hitting the hay, Pleasant Dreams ;>)
Seth was very tired tonight and sawing logs by 9:30. He has physical therapy and swimming at Ohio State on Saturdays and they really put him through the paces today. So as soon as I heard him snoring I just had to check in and see if Lynn and Liesl were home. Whoopee ! I'm so happy to hear the good news and to know she is exactly the one you had in mind. A little over a year ago my son and grandson who live in NJ went to southern IN to pick up a Shepadoodle pup, via Columbus. Rufus upchucked a couple of times between the kennel and here, but made it from here to NJ with no upsets. A couple of months later a neighbor drove to nothern OH to pick up her Puggle pup and Kobe did the same thing on the ride home. Guess it takes them some time to get used to the swing and sway of a vehicle. Is Liesl housebroken, Lynn ? Apparently she's crate trained, I like that !
JudyE and DanaMo, thanks for sharing the grandparent names used in your families and why. Interesting and sweet !
Glo, it's wonderful that your young friend was a ribbon winner in the contest ! She has to be tickled pink !
Today I bought two huge and lush Boston Ferns for the front porch shared by my building. The other 3 owners give small gifts at Christmas time, but just get a card from me--then I decorate our porch in Spring as my yearly gift. I also bought begonias and marigolds for planters on my deck, need another variety or two , but didn't find them today. After doing the potting I cleaned the deck, got out the chairs and decided I need a new umbrella for the table this year. As I'm writing this I hear rain, so the new flowers are getting a good watering. I'm just a little sick of the sound of rain. ☺
Okay, I can relax now that I know Liesl is in her new home. Perhaps I'll be at the SSCC first thing in the morning and hoping to see some of you there as well.
Kathryn and I went downtown for dinner tonight. We just parked the car and walked down the street and ended up at the Irish Pub. No waiting. Good food in a nice quiet place. I had corned beef and cabbage.
Yeay, Lynn, Shirley, you're back for a bit! Glad puppy is OK & Shirley did nt stumble returning from Irish Pub! Good ole Judie lit the night light for us!! LOL
Since my hours are stoopid, I might have the other half of my dinner! Night, if I don't get back ☺
Shirley, if an Irish Pub was peaceful and quiet, you were in the wrong one!!! LOL! Glad you had a nice meal out.
Thanks again for all well wishes for me and Liesl! Uh-hum....apparently not TOO well housebroken.....we've had two accidents already! Still no luck on getting her to drink, and I think she's only eaten about a dozen pieces of kibble. Hopefully by morning she will decide it's time to eat, drink and be merry!!
I, too, enjoyed the grandparent name stories. My girls called their grandma's "Grandma Miss Lorraine" (my mom, because she worked in a day care center where they went with her when they visited her) and "Grandma at Granddaddie's house" (his mom and dad). smart way to distinquish since, of course, my dad was no longer living. Jessica called me "earmaw" for the longest time because she couldn't get grand figured out!!
Wow...they just said that if shuttle doesn't go up Mon., it won't be for at least another week. Doubt that they would let Gabby stay that long. But it was great to see her climbing the stairs of that private jet she flew on.
Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon had twins today. She is 40! Congrats to them! He was so excited when he got to the hospital that he went to the wrong ward!
found and photographed Wild Red Columbines today, on the road to Swinging Bridge...can't wait to share them with you, but no time to download right now
Kathryn is having allergy problems and she stays really busy keeping up with work, Hunter's activities, etc.
She has already gone up to bed, but I'm sitting here watching TV and blogging. Of course, I slept in this morning while she was off to take Hunter to baseball.
did a little catching up last night on the Norfolk saga...found these links on the Puleston site, one of the tributes to Mom Norfolk includes the In the Arms Of Angels song...so very beautiful...(saw where some of you were talking about that song earlier on the animal rescue posts)
Was surprised to see that Sharon, mys sister, has lost 25 pounds and her goal is 50. Thrilled for her!
Laurel called to let me know some exciting news. Today was Joseph's last soccer game. But, as they were leaving they were approached by a man wanting Joseph on his select team. He said he has watched Joseph for the last 3 games and was really impressed with his skill, his enthusiasm, and his "coach-ability". So, looks like Joseph playing soccer will continue through the summer. So proud!
and glad to read that Judie had a good outing at the baseball game and her team won...
has she set the night light? I hate to admit, that I blitzed through the posts and might have missed it...just in case, I am leaving some lights on here !!!
xo Good Night Now...wish I could stay and talk more... but I would be inviting a face plant, and have no cats to blame it on !
good to hear from RED today also...just unbelievable, what they are going through down there...sure comforted he and Diane have safe haven xoxox ☺
Had some storms pop up around here this evening but it was east of us, HOWEVER tomorrow is a rain event! 90% chance of rain and another good chance Monday. I gladly accept that!!!
Oh, and the big fire is contained! Yea!!!! Still other fires but the biggie is "contained".
oh heck why not one more post.. I would give anything to see rose-breasted grosbeaks as Pa-Lynn and Sissy have discussed. Have one on my Wildlife License Plate !
Only place I have ever seen them here, is now, all houses
But I DID hear a scarlet tanager today and will find that little rascal on another outing. He hangs out where the Red Columbines are
I need to start doing some shopping for a laptop. I will have to give up the one I am using when I retire. I can get one at a discount through the school. I think I will check that out.
Oh,oh,oh!!!!! Forgot to tell you.....found out while searching for the erroneous 11-egg nest info that there is a restaurant near Mom's called Lynn's Eagle Nest or some such name....completely forget it now. Sis is going to take a pic of the sign!
The earlier the sun rises, the earlier one or the other, or both shows up. I don't think I'm going to try to be on hand any earlier, however. There is no good reason for a retired woman to be getting up at the crack of dawn. I'd really like to retrain myself !
I do love the SSCC and all early birds, I just don't want to get up with the birds ! Birds here in Columbus have not piped up yet today---still raining. :(
Today: Partly cloudy this morning. A few showers developing during the afternoon. High 66F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%. Tonight: Rain showers early becoming more intermittent overnight. Low 52F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.
Yes, and a jam packed 24 days left of the year. We have our Easter Egg hunt at the City park Friday, our Mother's Day Tea, Monday and we have to start practicing for Graduation ceremony (we do an adorable play if I do say so myself).
Hello and Good Morning Eagle Pals ! Sorry I missed the morning nest twitter... have actually been up since 4:30 - am going to try my hand with a sales table at a local flea market.. Whose Idea was this anyway, oh, yeah, now I remember, mine :( I could use a truck and a big, handsome, strong guy to help! I'll be looking forward to the first Sunday Morning in West Virginia report from Lynn about Liesl ☺ ♥
Best wishes for a good day Megan hope it is a great sales day, can't be there but maybe next week !!
No we don't have to deal with that "testing" stuff!! We will have a lot of fun. I can't believe the year is almost over. I had a fabulous class this year. Very sweet and kind and really hard workers. I've thoroughly enjoyed them.
It looks like the morning appearance is over. I don't know if I'm still the only one here...I hope not I may miss something while I'm working.
Good morning everyone. I guess I missed the early birds but where i live its well an hour earlier. I actually went to bed by 10 last night. Felt so very tired. Lets see today. Church, yard work and then Dex and i are headed to shelter for a while to do some stats. Sun is shining. It sure makes starting a new day easier after weeks of rain and cloud.
Will check in briefly at a few points. Wishing all a good day. oh yes, "God Bless Liesl" snuggle little one and soak up some more love.
Good morning everyone! Sitting here this morning watching cams, getting ready to start the day! Tom is coming home today and I am really glad. I have missed him terribly this weekend. We are still at the lake, me and the dogs. It is overcast here this morning, but the sun is supposed to come out. Watching the triplets stretching their wings this morning. I am so grateful for the Wildlife Center for including us in this process!
Daisy freaked out seeing some deer this morning and did such a good job of doing so that she actually managed to slip out of her NO SLIP collar. SO, she is AWOL. I'm just sitting here waiting for her to come back. Useless to try to catch her. Hope she stays out of trouble....
Wanda, the lake is only an hour from home. Tom and all the men in the Riffe family and a bunch of their friends (over 40 in all) are gone to Buggs Island near Clarksville, VA on their annual fishing trip. Me and the dogs came to the lake Thursday. I love it but not as much without him here. They are about 4 hours from home. He will stop here first to put the boat back in the water, so I am going to wait for him to come before I go home.
Tom said Justin has fished until he can't fish anymore. I think they have all had a blast and caught all kinds of crappie and catfish. I don't care for the catfish but I love the crappie. That is my favorite fish, that and trout. My daddy loved to crappie fish.
Had a good sleep. Liesl slept through the nnight and did all of her duty outside this morning. Did more exploring, and ate some breakfast, but still not drinking....???? Don't know what to make of that!
She is napping and I am reading papers and fixing MY breakfast.
SISSY, I can relate to Justin's fishing til he could do no more! Gene and I went fishing at the OBX one year and I fished til 2 o'clock in the morning. Gene finally said "Don't catch anymore, I'm getting tired of cleaning them!" :)
Wow---pretty little yellow-breasted bird in our nest.....no luck with a pic.....too s mall to really know what it is....working in lower left corner, pulling at fluff......will need to look in the birdbook to see if I can ID.
Sissy, sorry you are lonely....but just look out at the serenity of the lake, and take a deep breath of the lovely air!! And know that God is good!!!
Shar---be careful on the road, and enjoy your time with Andrew!!!!
Margy, wishing you lots of luck with the flea market.....which one are you going to?
Wanda, Frank and Irene tried some night fishing when we down last fall....no luck at all!
Good morning! Just had my first laugh of the day watching Lily Grace. She is really frisky. She has a blanket on today. Taking good care of that baby!
It happened! Not good! Woke up at 3:45 and I could hear thunder. About 15 minutes later the hail started. It pounded us for about 10 minutes, marble to almost golf ball size hail. So, looks like we will have an adjuster out to look at the roof. Groan! There are limbs down all over the yard, but I think my flowers made it through okay. We got a little over a half inch of rain which is great, just did not want the hail.
HmmmmLiesl you need to be drinking more!!! well some it sounds like actually. Maybe its the change in water.
Daisy Get your butt home. That scares me actually. How far will she chase and can she get her butt home :-(
Sissy They are doing scheduled work on the telephone lines and wiring around the cam at Virginia Wildlife Center this morning. Ed Clark said they will get it back on ASAP. Might even be today but then again maybe not. They are quick and on the spot there so MTBR
LOL Lily Grace was bouncing and had all four feet off the ground. She is going to run her mommy ragged.
Oh, and not only was Joseph approached and asked to be on a select team, they changed the dates of the Univ. Of North Texas basketball camp and he gets to go. We thought he was going to miss it because of our camping trip. He is one happy little boy right now.
LYNNE2---is Daisy home yet? Has she done this before??
LOLLY----sorry about the hail....can't believe it didn't hurt the flowers if it broke limbs and damaged the roof. Wow. That is great about Joseph's opportunities!!!!
Lolly, give an extra hug to Joseph and congratulations. Also, very good news that the fire has been contained. Friend of mine in Houston says they would love some of our rain.
Well, Shirley has provided evidence, once again, about why we have a night light -- she stumbled upon a quiet Irish pub?
Lynn, call the foster about the water but I suspect she's just off kilter with the adjustment.
Um, yes, Paula's Paradise. Nice.
Hi to everyone else and wishing all a lovely day.
Going to take a friend to lunch today. She's 85+ but still "doing her thing" with vim and vigor.
Well, too many possibilities to choose from....and size distortion makes it really hard to know..best guess is one of the warblers, or possibly a one of the orioles or a female yellow finch?? Sure wish we had clse-up view!!
Mama cardinal is still busy building nest in my pyracantha....hope that tomorrow is dry and she is still only building....I'll rake closest to the bush and then blow a few feet away.
Guess I better look up incubation and fledge time for cardinals.....I'm waiting for estimates on treating the outside of the house (logs). I've let it go too long...but guess I can schedule it for AFTER the little ones fledge.
Hello to all of you! I hope any rain hold off until afternoon hour when market would be closing for Megan. Lolly - I hope you were saying the shingles on your roof and not your whole roof.I need to read read the past comments instead of skimming. Yea for Liesl drinking and especially for sleeping through the night. Very happy for you Lynn cause I think you have met your match. Sissy - I'm sure that since Tom is always with you at the lake that you really do feel lonely. It's great that you have your Lake Place.
I could only see Lacey so far this morning and then in came Lilly with her little blanket that is a perfect fit. It looked as though Lacey was waiting patiently for someone to come to the fence to visit her. This cam has really caught my fancy
Lynne - let us know when your 'happy traveler' comes home. I bet a bath may be in order!
Hubby is heading down to the mower I told him it was raining at Lynn's and that means in another 20 min it will be raining here unless the mountain stops it.
Lolly I was so thankful to hear you say the major fires had been extinguished.
To Joseph I say congratulations! The world is looking good to him. Fantastic honor for being chosen to join the soccer team - and he will make new friends and learn new skills!
Have finished the paper. Called Sharon. They are at a RV park just minutes from here. Asked how they faired in the night. She said Dan got up and brought in the slides when someone "started throwing bricks". (The hail) The slides have little awnings over them and they needed to protect them. They are watching the weather before they head out to OK. Big cell coming in just north of us right now. Got very dark but now it is getting lighter. We just missed more hail!
Have to leave now and get ready for church. Have to get there early to take care of the nursery. I volunteered for today.
Lynn, so glad she drank. Figured she would when she was thirsty. We need pictures to get a grasp on the size of your new baby!
God a little scare from George last night. He ran outdoors when we were bringing in groceries, and Kathryn grabbed him. He let out a terrible growl that scared both of us.
Kathryn said he turned around like he might bite her, but she yelled at him and he stopped. Maybe there was another cat around or something.
He did that to me once several years ago. Didn't bite or anything. I captured him in the cat carrier that time.
Liesl I think you found yourself a mama. Have a drink to celebrate :-)
Loving the foal cam too. There is a dog who watches through the fence at times. I bet he's thinking gosh those horses are sure having some fun. I want to play too.

Thank you for all the well wishes!
Pics will be forthcoming in a couple of days, I'm sure!!!!
She is snoozing at the moment.
Oh, yes, Paula, she is the one I wanted!!! The other one was equally cute, a little smaller, but quite feisty!!! Did not have a stop button, LOL!!!
Well that is just wonderful Lynn!
Hedgie, will you kiss Liesl on the nose and tell her that Aunt Shar loves her??
Going to go read for awhile...need to get horizontal!

Congratulations, Lynn! I am so happy for you and your new little pup.
We had a sofa nap....woke up in time to see that Jr. finished way back in the pack of the race. Argh!
JudyE---no puppy breath left at 4 mos.!
Yeay, Lynn, Shirley, you're back for a bit! Glad puppy is OK & Shirley did nt stumble returning from Irish Pub! Good ole Judie lit the night light for us!! LOL

Hello! Dan and Sharon have departed and I have been reading the blog. Once again it took me forever to catch up.
Judie, you are forgiven! Just do not do it again! LOL Yes, setting the light to come on automatically is a good thing.
Lynn, I am so excited that you did finally get Liesl. Hope you get sleep tonight. You can give her a nuzzle from Aunt Lolly.☺
We have been talking and talking all day. Drove up to TCU to go to the bookstore. Also, looked at the new construction at the stadium.
Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon had twins today. She is 40!
Congrats to them! He was so excited when he got to the hospital that he went to the wrong ward!
It might have gotten livelier at the pub after we left. The live music was scheduled to begin at 9:00. Kathryn was the one who wanted peace and quiet.
I laugh when I think it's my daughter looking for the quiet place.
Downtown Fredericksburg is filled with quaint little shops and restaurants.
Congratulations and Best wishes Lynn and Liesl..wow, what a fingernail biting wait !
Sleep well, both of you ♥ ♥
Wonderful to see WV Susan back on today, sure have missed her !!
Congratulations to Glo's teen friend....3rd place in photo contest - terrific !
found and photographed Wild Red Columbines today, on the road to Swinging Bridge...can't wait to share them with you, but no time to download right now
sounds like a great day at the Beach, Paula !
Puleston site with NBG information and links
Hi, Margy. Good to see you.
It's a quick fix to a lot of the video and news, for someone like me who couldn't check them all when they were being posted
So proud!
read all the posts, but am too pooped to pop...
headed for the pillows
and taking my prayers for YOU, that's ALL of you to bed with me
God Bless This Nest, and
God Bless Us, Every One
xoxo ♥
Yay for Joseph, Lolly.
Wow Lolly, that is wonderful !!!
Thanks Shirley, good to see you also and always !
and glad to read that Judie had a good outing at the baseball game and her team won...
has she set the night light? I hate to admit, that I blitzed through the posts and might have missed it...just in case, I am leaving some lights on here !!!
xo Good Night Now...wish I could stay and talk more...
but I would be inviting a face plant, and have no cats to blame it on !
good to hear from RED today also...just unbelievable, what they are going through down there...sure comforted he and Diane have safe haven
xoxox ☺
Had some storms pop up around here this evening but it was east of us, HOWEVER tomorrow is a rain event! 90% chance of rain and another good chance Monday. I gladly accept that!!!
Oh, and the big fire is contained! Yea!!!! Still other fires but the biggie is "contained".
Thank goodness, Lolly.
oh heck why not one more post..
He hangs out where the Red Columbines are
bye bye
night night
♥
I need to start doing some shopping for a laptop. I will have to give up the one I am using when I retire. I can get one at a discount through the school. I think I will check that out.
Good night, Margy.
Lily Bear Update
Okay, I am really getting very upset with bad news. This is scaring me silly. I want a fairy tale ending in all the cams I watch!!!!
How many days left, Shirley? Surely you are counting down!
Nite Margy!
I stretched it when I said I would be back in an hour.
Sofa napping! Lucky dog!
Headed to bed - very tired
Good Night friends.. Prayers for
all
Hugs to everyone ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Oh,oh,oh!!!!! Forgot to tell you.....found out while searching for the erroneous 11-egg nest info that there is a restaurant near Mom's called Lynn's Eagle Nest or some such name....completely forget it now. Sis is going to take a pic of the sign!
30, Lolly. But I have an appointment on Monday, so I will not be there. I have a mammogram.
Have to check out the bear update.
ALmost afraid to open the Lily update after what sUSAn said this morning....:(
Good night to all turning in. Sounds like a full day for everybody!
And glad that others got some catnaps, too!
Hoping everything will be okay with the bears. We will have to wait and see.
I am ready to head upstairs for the night. Sleepy. I need to dig into the pile of research papers tomorrow.
Good night and God bless.
I am sure you will share the picture of the restaurant sign when you get it, Lynn. Nice name for a restaurant.
A very special prayer for Lily, Hope and Faith tonight. :(
I am going to bid you a very good night. See you in the morning light---but not early enough for the kaffee-klatch!!! Prayers for all.
I am with you on that, Lynn! The wonderful morning group is way too early for me! LOL
I am heading to the shower. Just finished a late night G&T. Tasted yummy!
Sweet dreams for all! Prayers for Lily, Hope and Faith.
Tbird Alert
GOOD MORNING one and all
Good morning, Judy#, I arrived 2 minutes too late to see Truder's landing ! He is already workihg those sticks at the 6 spot !
Sorry about the #, Judy ! I'm still a bit bleary eyed and foggy headed !
aww I can hear him chripping
He's looking all round and calling out--can't turn the sound up since Seth is sleeping
He s sitting at the 5 just sitting there was tugging on the one stick on end again and then just stopped
Good morning JudyE and Kay. Got here in time to see Truder and now he flew off. :(
It's my last day of spring break :(
Poofed at 6:07--out over the 11 spot
Truder back again
preening his back side
Sitting at 12 and picking first at the nest cup and then at his rear feathers. He has the itchies this morning
sitting at top of nest picking on the one big branch
Tugging on the rails while looking around on and off
pretty colors are here
Color on...beautiful, love it!
Oh,no ! He moves to the 1 spot and starts yanking at the limb he and Belle tussled over yesterday ! Color arrives !
Dana, love seeing your pretty face back on the avatar ! Good morning !
He poofed again at 6:12
Headed out at the 11 spot again.
still cam still down
The earlier the sun rises, the earlier one or the other, or both shows up. I don't think I'm going to try to be on hand any earlier, however. There is no good reason for a retired woman to be getting up at the crack of dawn. I'd really like to retrain myself !
someone is on the cam box still or again
I do love the SSCC and all early birds, I just don't want to get up with the birds ! Birds here in Columbus have not piped up yet today---still raining. :(
Working on lesson plans. I hope I don't miss another visit. I'll keep checking back every few minutes.
Thank you Kay, that sweet of you!
At the nest:
Today: Partly cloudy this morning. A few showers developing during the afternoon. High 66F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.
Tonight: Rain showers early becoming more intermittent overnight. Low 52F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.
Need to get the waitress attention I need a to-go cup for my coffee Just love the service here at Sycamore Cafe
Ah, yes, back to school tomorrow, huh, Dana ?
I think it's self serve today, Judy, but your Hazelnut is on for you. Looks like our Barista set it up earlier.
Yes, and a jam packed 24 days left of the year. We have our Easter Egg hunt at the City park Friday, our Mother's Day Tea, Monday and we have to start practicing for Graduation ceremony (we do an adorable play if I do say so myself).
Winding down the year down in Kindergarten, busy, but fun ! No cramming for exams for the little tikes.
Hello and Good Morning Eagle Pals !
Sorry I missed the morning nest twitter...
have actually been up since 4:30 - am going to try my hand with a sales table at a local flea market..
Whose Idea was this anyway, oh, yeah, now I remember, mine :(
I could use a truck and a big, handsome, strong guy to help!
I'll be looking forward to the first Sunday Morning in West Virginia report from Lynn about Liesl ☺ ♥
Best wishes for a good day
Megan hope it is a great sales day, can't be there but maybe next week !!
Love to all...
xoxo ☺
wow DanaMo -
that sounds very very very busy !!
to build in some serenity time today...
Hi Kay and JudyE and anyone here but not visible
okay now to cram all these "treasures" into the Blazer
ttfn xoxo
DanaMo
that is:
TRY to build in some serenity time !
BBL off to work
Good morning, Margy ! Good luck with the sales ! Thanks for the reminder--time to change the calendars already.
Happy May Day !
Dana, it's up to you--maybe a lurker will join in soon. I heard the Sunday paper hit the porch 15 minutes ago, so going into LM myself. BBL
I missed the nest visit this morning too! The filly has been out this morning romping around! Such a great story about Lilly and Lacey!!
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE...
SISSY, how far is the Lake from your house? Where is Tom?
Morning all!
Good morning, eagle dudettes and dudes!
Cloudy and drizzly here. COOL---only 49°.
Had a good sleep. Liesl slept through the nnight and did all of her duty outside this morning. Did more exploring, and ate some breakfast, but still not drinking....???? Don't know what to make of that!
She is napping and I am reading papers and fixing MY breakfast.
Will try to read back while I eat.
Can't get the eaglets back up this morning. Is this the day they are supposed to be working on it?
SISSY, I can relate to Justin's fishing til he could do no more! Gene and I went fishing at the OBX one year and I fished til 2 o'clock in the morning. Gene finally said "Don't catch anymore, I'm getting tired of cleaning them!" :)
Getting ready to pack up and head to WV. Going to spend a few days with my boy.
Morning all!
Fell asleep reading last night!
Saw a heron this morning
Lolly yay for Joseph
Lynn glad leisl slept all night
Yes they have work going on at WCV this morning
Sissy we used to fish for crappie when we were young
JudyE---cam won't be fixed on weekend days...:(
DanaMo---the advantage of a parochial school---a real Easter egg hunt by the proper name!!! Fun!
SHARON, enjoy your baby and have a safe trip:)
Lynn, sounds like you and Liesl are off to a good start...except for the drinking part...ask Foster Mom if he has been having that problem.
LOLLY, looks like a possibility of having a SPORTS STAR in the family...keep encouraging Joseph!
Have to get my Sunday face on...
HAVE A BLESSED DAY♥
With all that wonderful wildlife, Paula should call her Beach House, PAULA'S PARADISE:)
Liesl is awake. Time to venture outside again.
Lynn, I saw the bird, too, and was wondering what it was. Hope you can ID it.
I am so glad Liesl slept through the night. Guess she will drink when she is thirsty.???
Liesl may be tiny, but she can handle a tennis ball!
And she finally drank! Also tasted of some greens outdoors!
LYNNE2---is Daisy home yet? Has she done this before??
LOLLY----sorry about the hail....can't believe it didn't hurt the flowers if it broke limbs and damaged the roof. Wow.
That is great about Joseph's opportunities!!!!
Good morning.
I hope any rain hold off until afternoon hour
when market would be closing for Megan. Lolly - I hope you were saying the shingles on your roof and not your whole roof.I need to read read the past comments instead of skimming.
Yea for Liesl drinking and especially for sleeping through the night. Very happy for you Lynn cause I think you have met your match.
Sissy - I'm sure that since Tom is
always with you at the lake that you really do feel lonely. It's great that you have your Lake Place.
Judie, enjoy lunch with your gal pal, as Margy calls hers!
Wanda....your face is lovely ANY day of the week!!
Raining substantially now. Temp UP to 51°.
I could only see Lacey so far this morning and then in came Lilly with
her little blanket that is a perfect fit. It looked as though
Lacey was waiting patiently for someone to come to the fence to visit her.
This cam has really caught my fancy
Good morning.
Have been reading bits and pieces.
Hope Daisy is home now. Glad that
Liesl is doing so well.
Enjoy your lunch, Judie.
Daisy i here...in the yard roaming around. She won't come near me. Hope she likes rain.
Yes Lynn, this happened before, several times.
Lynne - let us know when your
'happy traveler' comes home. I
bet a bath may be in order!
Hubby is heading down to the mower I told him it was raining at Lynn's
and that means in another 20 min
it will be raining here unless the
mountain stops it.
Lolly I was so thankful to hear you say the major fires had been
extinguished.
To Joseph I say congratulations!
The world is looking good to him.
Fantastic honor for being chosen to
join the soccer team - and he will
make new friends and learn new
skills!
Have a great day!
BBL
Just read up a couple and see that Miss Daisy is 'trying herself'
She must feel like a 'free bird' lol
The rain has cometh and the mower has stopeth! Half ways done is
better than not done at all!
I mean "Got a little scare" . . .
Daisy Butt You better be a good girl.
Liesl I think you found yourself a mama. Have a drink to celebrate :-)
Loving the foal cam too. There is a dog who watches through the fence at times. I bet he's thinking gosh those horses are sure having some fun. I want to play too.
Off to church.
Finney1 has 2 eggs now!!!!
Jo, sorry I could't stop the rain for Ed!
Lolly, hope Dan and Sharon's RV wasn't damaged.
I wanna horse cam...:(
Bad, Daisy, bad, bad girl!
Lynnne, how's your knee and back today? Better, I hope? And Steve's elbow?
NEW THREAD
Come on over! ☺
