You probably saw, Rudy flew a fish in, Belle grabbed it and proceeded to ravenously feed on it, Rudy departed immediately.
If I didn't know better, I'd say they look like they are fast tracking to the point of starting a second clutch.

PA Lynn.....OMG. I have NEVER been so painful in my life and I have a bad back. I never heard of it either. It developed after my 2week cough finally ended (I had pneumonia and was REALLY REALLY sick). And it last 2 weeks. Dr not sure if related to the coughing or unrealted.

Well, I had just returned from Syracuse where my niece has been hospitalized with pnemonia with having to have fluid removed from her lungs.
I volunteered to stay with the other 3 kids for a few days. Then I came home with a cold and a week later that awful pain started. I couldn't take in a breath without severe pain. Very strange!

PA Lynn, sure hope your neice is better too. I spent a day in the ER but my fever was gone by then (week 2) so they didn't feel that admitting me was necessary. That must have been awful to have it so bad as to have to have fluid removed.

She went from a cold to a really high fever and into ICU within hours. A day later they had to remove 1.5 liters from one lung and she is only 10 years old. She was in the hospital for 10 days and had to go home with a port for IV meds for another 3 weeks. They almost lost her. It was scary.
She is back to herself now! They heal fast, thank God!
OH, he DID have a fish....I didn't see it at first!

Hancock is a forum, Robyn. You can do all that neat stuff on a forum. The only thing I don't like about their setup, is with all the ads and such, it seems to take forever to get to the next page.

Thanks, Robyn. It is weird because my brother (her dad) also had a rare form of pnemonia when he was 5 and had to have 2/3 of his rt lung removed. You wonder if there is any link there.
I remember those days for years always having to check his breathing. We had 6 kids and the rule was you had to always check little Ben before you went to bed for the night!

Sometimes when Tori has problems breathing I have her sleep in my bed, I have a king so when she gets restless she has room to kick around just so I can monitor her, sometimes I get so scared.

I agree Paula, a fight over fish, not HP. It all happend so quickly, but I thought she brought in a fish to eat. He came right away and I thought wrestled the fish away from her...just an impression I had. Her tail never moved over for HP to take place either. She wasted no time kicking him out the second time he came in at the other end of the nest either! She was truly ANGRY!
Between his first entrance and the second one, she was looking around picking up scraps to eat it looked like - not nestorations. She was ready to send him packing when he tried to get back in the nest then. She stayed defensive the whole time.
I have her in the nest at 1:38p and off at 1:51p He came back at 1:58 and moved a stick or two and left at 1:59

I think my brother continued to have weaknesses at least through high school, but I think after that he kind of outgrew the breathing fears. He's 40 now and I don't think he has problems anymore. I can't check on him anymore. He is 2 hours away!! LOL
In Paula's post @ 2:43 with the two you tube videos, it is REAL obvious that Belle is eating a fish in that altercation. I can't tell if T brought it in or not, but if he did, she grabbed in in a hurry! You go girl!
I saw a fish, intruder was on top of Belle but he seemed to have his talons going for the fish then grabbed it and took off...

I really had hoped to start that thread to give members a place to look for the actual nest activity during the day. The video is a great way to do that.
The first night someone reported observing ME breaking my own rules for posting a video! It was hilarious!! My patience wore thin over there, and I could see it wasn't working!

I sent him a private message when he had his theory thread locked because he was so disappointed that there was not one single constructive or contributory comment to the intention of his thread. He ruffled my feathers on that comment and I couldn't reply to the post because he had the thread locked.
I told him I tood great offense to his comment because I tried to respectfully refute a couple of his "facts" and a remark like he made was uncalled for.
He did sincerely apologize, so I guess there is saving grace there!
He is a ticket, though!
Oh, yea, it's Smitty and Flirty over there...still Intruder to me.
OK, I've got to go, but about the videos:
First, Rudy "attempted" to bond; later, Belle clearly chased him off the nest. Could have been ritual to send him after food, because he came back with a fish (small one).
Second, just Belle taking his offered fish, mantling it and eating it.

Most of us accomplish more when we are polite.
The people here have always been very considerate, kind, and supportive.
There have been a couple of times when I thought they might show up at my front door if I failed to check in regularly. And, if I had someone bothering me, they just might go after them with their eagle canes.

Who are you talking about from the OD forum 0 or is it OC? Either way, I have been over there for about 10-12 days, and there is also a LOT of bickering over there.

Right Shirley just like when I thought intruder landed on Belle for HP. Paula did not insult me nor me her. She was trying to help me see the fish. Which I had the worse probably "seeing that fish". So I thought it was HP. I didn't insult Paula by saying something rude. We are all friends over here. With a difference of opinion until with explanations where to look to help see for instance in this case "the dang fish". So I thank Paula for the help. I know she just wanted to help me. Had a great luncheon. Loads of fun! We celebrate 0 birthdays. But hilarious cards that have to be read outloud and then laugh and laugh! We also give $ to the birthday girl and she gives it to a special project at church. This time money goes to help refurbish the youth room.
Shirley. I couldn't see the fish very well either but she was definitely eating and you could tell the way she walked across the nest she had something in her talons.

Yeah, that is the one I was talking about. It sounds like he is resigning from the forum, but not from viewing the nest.
The lines that keep coming to me are "You're accusing me of what you're doing yourself."
You have to look closely in the first video at the very beginning down at the eagles feet, the fish is there, it's white almost looks like a stick, but you can see the talons wrapped around it.
PA-Lynn or anyone...there was a nice lady called Ruthie over at OC that may not even be there anymore, but the few posts I saw, I thought Wow, she should be on our blog - not here with all this crap. If she is still there, bring her on over, please.

I was a computer technician for many years helping support 1200 US Army civilian workers and and their computers and I know that 99% of all computer problems are self inflicted. Think about it. Think of the<> and the as 1st you give the computer the information so it knows what you want it to do to your text. Then you have to give it the info to stop doing it - thats the same thing but with the / in it. Don't know if that helps or not...

PA Lynn, the reason is these pages are pre-set to accept only certain tags as they are called.
Here the "a" tag if you will is set to produce a blue underlined text because it assumes the only reason you are using it is to create a link to some "other" page. That is why we only have the option to make text blue and underlined. It's built into the system.
Normally, you are right, you would use the style you used in your message and type in either a color name or a color code number.
If you have a laptop, you use the blue numbers on the qwerty board.

Aha, the "dirty" egg. It just refers to the coloring of the egg. The Oregon nest had dirty eggs, too. Mottled colors on the egg, not white...
