Nite all! Sweet dreams. Prayers for Japan.

Good Morning Eagle Land!

It's light at the nest, tho not daylight yet.

DID YOU TURN YOUR CLOCKS AHEAD?

Lori O. said...

This would be around the usual time that the switch is made at the nest between Belle and Lib.

Lori O. said...

This darn 1 hour DST difference makes you think...gee it's 6:45, but we moved the clocks ahead an hour so ....
I won't get Lynne or myself confused again. :)

Lori O. said...

Welcome to the Time Change.

7:05 and it's barely starting sunrise. You would still have to drive with your headlights on.

magpie said...

It's the Morning, It's the Day...and it's time for me to get ready for work!

checked BWO, eagle on the right edge of the platform, BWE, has a big pile of feathers on the top of the nest

NCTC - night light will go off pretty soon...see that lovely eagle on the roost there

Best wishes for a Glorious Day....

will "see" you from work, maybe...

xoxo Good Morning early bird Lori!

Lori O. said...

Mmmm mmm. What a wonderful start to the day. Fresh coffee and the eagle nest.

Belle is actively looking to find Lib.

Lori O. said...

Good Morning Margy.

Have a great day at the "office."

magpie said...

ooooh, interesting colors at NCTC

Check my Feathers, Fur and Miscellaneous Link...caught a view of a beautiful Hooded Crow at Finland Water nest, early this morning

Megan
Full Moon name for us this month?
Please and Thanks !!!

Lori O. said...

Going back and forth between full screen on the nest and blog.

Of course, hoping to see the eggs at the switch and a pip!

Bet it's non-stop watching now until the first egg hatches. YEAH!

Lori O. said...

Geese flying and honking in the background.

Lori O. said...

Eggs rolled. Wiggle wiggle. Belle readjusting and getting comfy.

Two eggs. No pip hole to be seen, but grass makes it look like cracks in shell.

Lori O. said...

Power went out, but the new backup power Kate put on kept the computer up and running. Very cool.

Lori O. said...

No switch yet, or since I;ve been watching.

Coffee break. BBinM

Lori O. said...

Of course, as soon as I get up to get my coffee in the kitchen, they will both be in the nest pulling a fast one on me.

Lori O. said...

OK - more coffee.

stronghunter said...

Good morning!

Maybe exciting things will happen today.

Funny that you should mention the grass making the egg look like it is cracked, Lori. Last year I got a shot of the egg looking like it had grass on it, but I am convinced it was cracked. Immediately after that we had Palmer.

Lori O. said...

...and feeding the dogs, FloBear & Dalai (dolly).

Lori O. said...

Hello Shirley!

Lori O. said...

Maybe we will be so lucky this year with the grass & egg guessing game.

Lori O. said...

Glad you're here Shirley! Give Luna and gang scratches from me.

I'll feed my brood now.

glo said...

Good morning everyone. Been up most of the night coughing so this time change isn't having much effect this year. Got the pop up cam up til after coffee and dog treats. Then it will be another eagle cam and I Love Lucy day. they do not need me to cough all through church.

stronghunter said...

Hi Lori,

Good morning. Luna and Flash are right here keeping us company. Kathryn went to Paul's Bakery and picked up doughnuts yesterday, so we are having a pleasant but sweet breakfast.

glo said...

I think Belle is listening to the egg :-). Exciting times the next several days. Will load live cam when I get back. Hoping for sound :-)

stronghunter said...

I am enjoying this morning. I haven't been watching as much recently. My job has kept me busy.

stronghunter said...

Watching to see Belle listening, Glo. I have read that there have been plenty of egg rolls. Maybe that is when she is listening. It is definitely time.

magpie said...

Good Morning from the world of 911...

Glo
I am sorry to hear of your coughing situation...

soon as my head hits the pillow...the coughing starts...I worry that the upstairs neighbors would have a noise complaint against me !!

Hope you keep improving...

Good Morning Shirley, and Lori again

have live feed up and still cams for Blackwater and NCTC

yay!

Morning, all!

Set my alarm for 7 to get up at 6, but woke up at 8, hoping to leave here by 9. What time is it???

Wish I could be like Lolly and have no alarm clock at all!

stronghunter said...

It's 8:49 here at the moment, Paula.

stronghunter said...

You have about 10 minutes until you should leave.

Belle is up.

stronghunter said...

Rolled eggs, flugged the flug and wiggled back down.

stronghunter said...

Or is that flugged the flugg?

paula eagleholic said...

Have a great Sunday, catch ya'll later!

magpie said...

I know Paula is gone, but thanks for the laugh on the times!!

Loved it!!

hedgie said...

Morning all! It is now 9:15.....I'm sure of that!!! But I sure did not want to get up this morning, even tho' the clock was reading 8 which was really only 7! Ha, ha---who's on first?

Glo, sorry you are still feeling bad. :( Have you tried Delsym? I find it works better than anything! Lucky for me, Iam NOT doing much coughing when asleep. It's worst when I am on the reclinig sofa.

Mmmmmm---donuts!!! Sounds good, Shirley. Well, right now don't think I could eat anything. Mai just lost her breakfast.....that was mess.....

hedgie said...

I can't get Norfolk to play...........it just spins away, attempting to connect....maybe too many viewers?

Lori, what caused your power outage??.

hedgie said...

Oh, good----4th refresh was the charm.....it opened, and she's sitting....watching a fly on her wushi!

hedgie said...

Got a great capture of Norfolk eagle with a fly on her head. Will put it on my blog.

grannyblt said...

Good DST morning. Hope we have a good eagle watching day. Very thankful I don't live in northern Japan today. Prayers up for all those affected.

Lori O. said...

two eggs in the nest. Rolling eggs.

Diane said...

Good morning! Just a quick hello, sorry it's been so long. Watching intently the WV and VA nests. VA's first egg is cracking!! There's an animation on the dicsussion forum.

Lori O. said...

Lynn, don't know what caused power to go out. It was one of those out for 2 sec. and back on again. Love this battery backup though!

Shirley, are you sharing donuts with your babies this morning? I haven't had a meal without dogs and cats in I don't know how long.

Lori O. said...

GLO - sorry to hear you got what Lynne2 had. Sounds like same thing.

Rest, rest, rest.

hedgie said...

Pic is on my blog---take a look!!
His Lynne and Diane! Long time no see!

hedgie said...

Discussion not showing on my NBG page..... :(

floralgirl said...

Hey Margy- It's the full worm moon, of course!
Rest of Today
partly sunny. Highs in the lower 50s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
Have a great day everybody!

magpie said...

Megan
Thank you !!

not exactly a very glamorous name, BUT - I bet it gives the birdies a thrill!

Lori O. said...

All unwanted worms can have a home in my garden! :)

Mema Jo said...

Good morning - is it really 10:20
I've been keeping an eye on NBG
If an eagles actions tell you anything then I'd say there is a lot going on
down under. They are flashing a report that "Confirmed Pip or Hatch at this time"

I almost went back to sleep this morning but I decided to fight the time. I'll catch back another time.

magpie said...

Hedgie:
I see you visited "Feathers..."

the red in the nest, at Fin-Ferry...I do not know...have been seeing that when the daylight is strong enough...
possibly : Rust?? on the metal pipes...?

I see the "chain" also, but have not seen it "glowing" much like we do last year

also, until or unless Finland has daylight savings time like we do here, we now only have SIX hours of time difference ☺

Mema Jo said...

Hedgie, that photo is one of a kind.

magpie said...

Yesindeedy Ditto That Jo!
...Ref Lynn's fly-on-the-eagle picture !

hedgie said...

Very little sun here.....only 45°.....and, of course, windy.

hedgie said...

I was so afraid I wasn't going to capture it fast enough! She looks like she's mad at the fly, doesn't she?? Thanks, gals!
Margy, I've seen the chain a few times.....but don't remember seeing the rust or w hatever show so prominently----maybe just the way t he light was hitting it when the got the pic!

Lynne2 said...

Good morning all!

UGH! No hatch yet at NBG??

Maybe we'll get a Monday/ Thursaday hatch...a Boo and a Paddy!

Thank you all for the encouragement in my quest to quit smoking!

Margy, so glad your extended family in Japan is OK and I sure hope they continue to be safe.

Glad you had fun with your daughter's aunt Dana!

been watching NBG...something CLEARLY going on....the has been much more looking under and much more sort of partial standing and looking under.

stronghunter said...

Good pic, Lynn.

hedgie said...

Has anyone actually seen a cracked egg, or are they just guessing??? There are a lot of flies and I think they are really bothering Lady Norfolk.

Lynne2 said...

I was reading back on the NBG discussion...I can't see that anyone has seen any pip or crack or chick. And they don't have anything noted in the box under the comments either. Just says "no confirmed pip or hatch yet"

Diane said...

Hedgie:
There was an animated pic on the discussion cam showing the egg cracking!!

Diane said...

At least that's what I am seeing. Reese has confirmed a pip, but I actually see the shell opening. Maybe I'm seeing things? Wouldn't be the first time. ;-)

Lynne2 said...

Diane, where is the discussion cam?

grannyblt said...

New thread up

Mema Jo said...

NBG - No one has actually seen the eggs
I am sure that they are assuming there is a pip or even a hatching because of
the adults actions when they are incubating.. I don't think they will know for sure until they see an egg shell

wvgal_dana said...

I'm here just woke up. Man I don't know what that time change did to me. I never slept like that before.

So no chick at NBG yet.
