I'm not sure how long the birds had been in the nest when I opened up, but there was one there when I first finally got the comment in.
I put 11 pictures on the Momsters album, no matter what I try (except one at a time) they never go up in the order I want !
Thanks, Margy. The police told them to call 9-1-1 if anything else happens, too. I thought it was strange that the police delayed for so long and then sent three cruisers. It is just unsettling to think that someone could be out there watching her.
She has to walk from the parking lot to her apartment, sometimes late at night. She has bought pepper spray. They will tell apartment management so that they can get a no trespassing order, but apartment complex has no security, not even a camera.
On campus at George Mason, she can get help from security. and she will talk to the people at her work. I am sure the mall has security.
Do they post fairly quickly on the album? I might do it at work, where I am connected to a printer.
Instructions: Pics to Momsters Album
1) E-M Home Page
2) Find/click Photos on left list
3) Find the album you want ("2009
7/1 to 9/20) and click
4) Find Add Photo button top
& right/click
5) go for Basic Uploader/click
6) Browse - find your pictures
(jpg is what I use) and when
you have your picture chosen
hit Open on that process
7) Add as many as five at a time
then do "Add Now" at the bottom
As I mentioned, they are supposed to go up in reverse order to how you add them, but I cannot get that part to work for me very well. This morning's pictures are all out of order. Oh well.
There might be better instructions on the home page, this is just how I learned to do it.
Yes, Shirley, they post pretty quickly. Sometimes the site is busy if others are adding also but that doesn't happen very often. I used to be able to move the pictures around once I posted them but I think I don't have the edit rights to do that ...
Okay, sounds like some plans are in place for safety there....
Tell her to yell FIRE if she gets in a tough spot....people tend to react to that faster then "HELP"

Will have to spend some time today reading essays and grading papers. Our first reports go out on Tuesday. Everything goes into the computer and grade reports show everything that is in the gradebook. Times have changed.
Next semester, everything will be online. Students and their parents will be able to access the gradebook whenever they want to. I hope that will work okay. Heard stories of one college professor who would post all the grades and then run away from his office before the phone started ringing!
Awhile ago, I had one parent who questioned why the grades were not in chronological order. I had put them in the computer in the order I graded them, not always in the order they were turned in. (I had a great many grades.) I received this very businesslike, typed note from the father. The girl and her mother (a teacher) told him he was being silly. I told the girl that I had just forgotten to press the botton that told the computer to arrange grades according to date, so I did, and I guess he was happy. That was an easy one.

You can please some of the people all of the time, and you can please all of the people some of the time, but you CAN'T PLEASE ALL OF THE PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME!

They are working on that. The police gave them the necessary information so that they could take care of it. The woman is Middle Eastern. I am wondering if she is in the country legally.

Will investigated the little computer I got. It does not have a disk drive. I think it is strange that it has a disk with it. You would have to download the info onto another computer and transfer it with a flash drive. I do not think it will be my primary computer, but can be used to get online.
Must go find some breakfast.
