I'm thinking that weed in the nest could be choke cherry, but I haven't checked out a good pic yet. They grow easily and anywhere.Just need a bird to drop a seed. If I konk out in front of TV, want to wish everyone "Pleasant Feather Dreams"!! ;>)
Jo, you sound like Laurel. That is what she has done, reread before the movie.
Yeah, the mumps at 29 was not fun! Laurel at 6 months came down with them while we were on our way to Florida. Called ahead to make sure everyone was immune and went on. My mother was going with us. In Florida I had my mother and my mother in law showing their disapporval of what I allowed my 6 month old to do. LOL
Sounds good, Jim----hopefully they are not going to get any worse for you. Vitamins and minerals are good for a lot of things! Thanks, Wanda--never heard of him. Haven't seen that movie---it probably hasn't been on TV yet.
Maybe a couple of tenths is all we have received. However, we have had cloudy days and that is appreciated! Oh, yes, I am sure there are fines for watering in central Tx. Where we are the only restrictions we have is water before 10 AM and after 6 PM. You can water holding the hose anytime. North central TX has had more rain....but not enough! It is dry! Your rain dances are appreciated, Loweeda!
Sharon, in the movie? Or on stage after Michael Crawford?? Of course, never knew what the Phantom really looked like! Don't know if I've seen him in anything else or not but will do a google on him!!
Shirley I only see one. I know Suzanne said one had fledged earlier today. At 3:30 am Finland time (a little while ago) the one was exercising his wings and one was lying in the nest. Now I only see the one.
One of the chicks was said to have a broken leg.. it had been noticed when they were banded. Maybe it healed - I am just concerned and I just can't get any info from their blog.
Morgan also played the guy that Heigle's character Izzy was in love with on Grey's Anatomy! And in the movie set in Ireland I think it was with???Sandra Bullock or Hillary Swank???? Can't remember---argh!!!
Lynn, we went to the new Target store today. Meat shelves were nearly empty of their SPECIALS. Need better supervision...shelves should be kept full, especially during their Grand Opening. Bedtime for me...walked 100miles today, up and down both Target and Lowes.
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE SLEEP TIGHT PRAYERS FOR ALL...SPECIAL ONE FOR DANA.
Wow, I don't know when I will get caught up. I am home and tired. We got all the birds to the tower, medicated and fed. THEN we took a Peregrine Falcon and a Northern Goshawk to the place where the Educational birds will stay. Two other birds are on the way by car, a Red-tail and a Great Horned Owl. More later, have to get up early.
Hunter is coming tomorrow. I called Kathryn and asked if he could bring his camera tomorrow. I gave him one that I do not think he has used. It is a child's digital camera that will connect to the computer. I would really prefer he use that than mine.
Deb, so glad your day was so interesting! Know you are tired! Rest up....back to the old grind tomorrow, gal! Prayers for all...esp. Dana tonight. Talk to you all tomorrow. Peace.
Good night everyone, good luck today Dana....dinner was awesome, we went and got our cheese, crackers and little tomatoes for lunch on the beach, sort of a tradition my friend and I do when she is down....just read email from Ceil about the pipe bomb down here at OC....I'm at 59th street..
Came home and computer was locked up at 6:06 pm. Couldn't execute a single command, had to just turn the PC off. No apparent damage, only had Outlook Express open.
I heard Katydids tonight down by the river in Shepherdstown. Exotic sound....a late summer sound.
Sometime Wednesday I will post my horrendous 3-grand+ repairs right before last Christmas for my Blazer. Only thing it needs now is a back glass defroster. I have just about paid for it twice. Not exactly a lemon....and it runs great now. but lots and lots of $$$$$ spent.
Hedgie and the North Carolina fans: One of my sisters spent a week at Rodanthe a couple of weeks ago. The most easternmost point in NC she said...she liked it a lot.
Great report, Deb on the Osprey Day for you, and the Peregrine Falcon and the Northern Goshawk transport. Hope re-entry back to work goes okay Wednesday.
Prayers for Dana with the cataract procedure Wednesday
Saw on the news where a jogger on the beach was struck and killed by a lightning strike, at Kill Devil Hills NC on Monday. That is where our Candy is from.
I can't do a screen grab (yet) off Finneys or I would have taken some of the disabled chick wingersizing and moving around the nest. It is fairly mobile, but seems to flop over pretty easily. :(
Looking around the INet, I see that all three chicks are back (and lying low in the nest) at Finney's.
And as I watched, Mom flew in with some fish.
There's nothing wrong with the littlest one's wings, that's for sure. But I haven't seen him in anything but a half-risen stance yet...can't tell anything about the injured leg yet. I suppose it could have started to heal by now; he hasn't been putting any weight on it until now.
Well, best of luck in your surgery, Dana. Don't be too surprised how beautiful I am when your eyes are opened next.
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!---I think I love you MEGAN!---Thanks for playing 'AM I BLUE'---BILLIE HOLIDAY!---REAL FAVORITE OF MINE!-----(by the way---the RHUBARB is growing well in the nest)---Our 'BABY' may be wanting a pie!-- LOVE ALL OF YOU KIDS!!!

Stopping by to say good night Pleasant dreams.
Jim thanks for the cataract info.

Last two visits for me would probably about 10 years.
I never think of it every year even when I have insurance.

Lynn, Gerard Butler played the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera. He was also in PS I love You and 300. Gorgeous Scotsman!
But these days, I am crushing on Pat Monahan! :)

Jeffrey Dean Morgan....now that is who makes me melt!!! Oh man!
He was also in P.S. I Love You.
Glad Lolly that you can use the hose. I had seen in Dallas where they can't water.
Goodnight everyone. Pleasant dreams.
Judie

Adult at Finney's. One chick is standing, but other is not.

Yes, Jo, the Nest News doesn't say anything about the broken leg. I do not know where else to find info in English.
I probably missed most everyone, with an hour time difference.
Hunter is coming tomorrow. I called Kathryn and asked if he could bring his camera tomorrow. I gave him one that I do not think he has used. It is a child's digital camera that will connect to the computer. I would really prefer he use that than mine.
Paula, think sokeone heard Hidey earlier...maybe Judie or Jim...or Magpie...
Thanks, Hedgie!
Sounds like a busy day Deb!
Gnite, all!
Hugs to all ♥
Deb, so glad your day was so interesting! Know you are tired! Rest up....back to the old grind tomorrow, gal!
Prayers for all...esp. Dana tonight.
Talk to you all tomorrow. Peace.
Late note: pipe bomb found on 40th St. in OC---hope not near Mits! All safe--did not go off. Also hope she enjoyed her dinner!!!
I spent a little time watching the Finney chicks. I think one is dragging its left leg. I posted some pictures on my blog.
See what you think.
I know we heard that one had a broken leg, but it has been hard to get more information.
iT'S 6:30 A.M. at Finney's nest, and I don't see the fledgling chick back on the nest yet.
Mom is still looking around for her to return, but the other two chicks are snoozing head down in the bottom of the nest.

Got lost watchin TV. Watched After the Rose.
Now I am starting to yawn. Time to go shower.
Deb, glad you had such an interesting day. A good tired, I am sure. Rest up...back to real work tomorrow.
Nite all! Sweet dreams. (Jeffrey Dean Morgan....sigh!) LOL
Good night, Lolly.
Good night. It is getting late!
The chick at Finney's nest with bad leg, rarely stands up....
sun is shining on the Finland chicks, makes their feathers look spectacular.
Yes sure does Mits. Finland that is.
Your picnic sounds fun.
I just got through the last of the Posts.
Came home and computer was locked up at 6:06 pm. Couldn't execute a single command, had to just turn the PC off. No apparent damage, only had Outlook Express open.

Saw on the news where a jogger on the beach was struck and killed by a lightning strike, at Kill Devil Hills NC on Monday. That is where our Candy is from.
BOTH remaining chicks at Finneys were just wingersizing....going to watch for a little while longer.
That poor little Finney chick definitely has something wrong with its leg...very visible now with its wingersizing.
Are you still there Margy?
Yep Shirley, I am - I think the fledgling Finney chick is paying a visit...unless that is the parent, but I think the kid
I can't do a screen grab (yet) off Finneys or I would have taken some of the disabled chick wingersizing and moving around the nest. It is fairly mobile, but seems to flop over pretty easily. :(
I'm sure that it is the chick and not the parent...
All three Finney chicks are in nest.
I did put some pictues to the disabled chick on my blog.
I saw them Shirley....and this is the first time tonight I have had a real clear viewe of the disabled chick on the cam.
That first fledgling wants to leave again I think. Or, show the others they can do it too.
I need to rest the eyeballs, been a long day.
Nice to close the evening out with you Shirley - hope the buggy lasts you another 100,000 miles.
Good Night.... xox
Night, Margy.
And, gone....
And back....I guess I better say good night and do it ! xoxo
God Bless Us, Every One
I think it just left and came back. Kind of hard to tell with the way the picture refreshes.
Good night, again. I need to get to bed and stay there.
There is our Hidey this morning!! How exciting! I heard her for a few minutes before I saw her!! She is so beautiful!!
I was just wondering if she was still coming and going! God is just so good!!
And, she has her own built-in shade tree now!
Gone already?
I crashed early, and now I'm wide awake. Hahaha.
Looking around the INet, I see that all three chicks are back (and lying low in the nest) at Finney's.
