There was a Tornado warning in the Norfolk area earlier and has moved on down into North Carolina...look out CANDY! I think the Little Rebels are safe:)
Just returning and see that OKLA has both cams up/running. The NBG eagle is drenched and what a huge fish in our nest! I tuned in on the AEF cam-they have 1 egg and it is being incubated now. The other day both adults were there but neither one was on the egg. I can't find on the site any update of the 2009 season.

Buddy's beak trim was moved up to April 1st.
The eagle’s beak was now so long that it would not fit under the upper beak. The eagle is compensating by twisting the lower jaw to the left, so that the upper and lower beak will unite. To correct this problem, the eagle was brought to the hospital on the morning of April 1 and anesthestized with Sevoflurane. Approximately 5 mm were taken off the tip, and 1-2 mm off of the left side, of the lower beak. After approximately 15 minutes the eagle woke up without complications.

So cute, when the babies imitate the adults, moving fluff, bet baby learned that best from Liberty! Guess Baby is imitating being Brave now too.
Hidey was looking up, then it looked like parent dropped down from up above....grabbed a hunk of fluff from the back and put it next to Hidey...acutally kind of looked like the remains of that squirrel!
Jo, glad the doctor is happy with how your leg is healing. Eagle, my still is ahead of live again.
Okay I don't know whether to refer to the Eaglet as He or She....
what a dilemma.....any suggestions....?
LOL, Belle has a stash of fluff back there...she's trying to cover him up...but he's back up again now!
I was recording part of that and the parent stepped on Hidey's talon.
Precious, Partners Against the Wind !
I think Belle likes to control the flotsam and jetsam that is going to fly around in the wind, battening down the hatches so to speak...
Hidey is absolutly BUTT HEAVY, CAN'T CONTROL THAT END OF THE BODY:)
