Thanks Steven for the new thread. We are watching all the Momsters and Dadsters log on after their terrific visit to NCTC and the nest. Sounds like a wonderful time was had by all.

Thanks Candy for the heads up on the new thread. Thanks Steve and I really wish you could have joined us this weekend. We had a lot of passers-by who stopped to ask what we were doing there! :)

Hope someone sees the heads up for the new feed. I have to get ready for a day at school tomorrow. Only three to go. I am giving up on Tiny for today. Maybe he will let you see him fledge tomorrow.

All have a good evening. Tomorrow is a new day with new beginnings. Later gators!

Steve, you just don't know what you missed yesterday. You couldn't imagine what a wonderful time we had. We are so grateful to NCTC for making it possible for bird lovers to be able to view something so spectacular. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU THERE!

Costume Lady said...

AML...You just don't know how much we wish all of you ladies could have joined us yesterday, but, yes October is coming and we look forward to another visit from you.

Anne-Marie said...

I think I am going to fly into Akron and drive to my brothers for a few days and then come down to the nest. He lives in Toledo.

Costume Lady said...

AML...If you tell Deb and Lolly (and all others out there) how much you enjoyed your trip last Fall, maybe they will come too.

Anne-Marie said...

I have Wanda. I had so much fun and meeting all of you locals was wonderful

Anne-Marie said...

I am going to stay in another motel this time. I was just too far out but everything was booked. Apple festival or something.

Thanks for the new thread, Steve!

The nest is beautiful tonight....

Speaking of pretty, I just posted last nights sunset pic here

Eaglet Momsters Blog

gotta go finish mowing...

Costume Lady said...

Temperature is down from 97° to 86° now. That may help Tiny a little. Going down to 70° tonight and up again to 97° tomorrow. We would even welcome a little shower on Tiny.

Paula, that is the prettiest photo I have ever seen of the nest. You can even see an eagle sitting on a branch. GOOD JOB!

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Wow, Paula, that is really a great picture. I got some pretty good silhouettes last night too. Had so much fun. Wish that Baby Littley would get off his butt and get out of that nest. We were hoping he would this morning while we were there, but he didn't make it. Probably God taking care of us, cause we would never have left to come home if anything exciting had been happening.

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

He looks kinda lonely up here by hisself, don't he?

Just Vicky said...

Hello my friends! Picky Vicky is home safe! Thanks for the memories!

Good evening everyone. So much to do when I got home and watching the M&M girls tomorrow. First of all cannot thank Wanda and Gene enough for their hospitality to us. If it had not been for the Eagle Express we could not have stayed as long as we did. They cooled us fed us and the Eagle Talons were great. It was so great to meet everyone who was there. To see that nest in person was amazing. The cam is good but we saw the branches and who was in them. Words cannot tell how it felt. Looked at Paula's picture of the sunset. Gorgeous. Thank you NCTC for giving us this opportunity. Thank you Jo for making the arrangements and the prizes. Love all of you.

ceil said...

I was thinking of you Vicky. Glad you are home. Last Momster is back in their nest.

ceil said...

Helen said before when we were there this morning we were sure it was Lib and I said he was giving us a show. He came right over us to go to the tree. They put on a show for us this weekend.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Well, there were 2 there, one left and one came in and landed not too gracefully! Just about did make the nest! Practice makes perfect. Wish I was there watching them again tonight!

Mema Jo said...

WHOO HOO! Every Momster is back in their nest!

I hope those 2 realize that if you're in the nest after sundown - you stay there until sunup!!

I wanted to take a minute to say how GREAT it was to have Mattie with us for the nest visit!
Green is Mattie's favorite color and she wore it so well - from the tip of her fingers down to the tip of her toes! Love Ya Mattie! ((hugs))

Costume Lady said...

VICKY, Gene wants to know if you had any more problems with your car.
I would like to know what kind of gas mileage you got on your Eagle Stick? LOL

ceil said...

Good night everyone. Bet the other eaglet is roosting in the sycamore tree.

Costume Lady said...

Good Night Ceil..sleep well.

Mema Jo said...

Good Night Ceil and all others who are calling it a day!

I was wondering how the Eagle Stick
handle going home also. lol

Mema Jo said...

Paula The sunset picture of the Sycamore Nest Tree is so
beautiful! I know you love sunset pictures - this should be very
meaningful! Love It!

Costume Lady said...

We can see fairly well through Spidey's web tonight. Maybe some of it melted.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Beverly got a good shot of the sunset too. I think she has it by her name on her last comment.

Costume Lady said...

Haven't seen such a sweet pair as that since they were babies. They really seem to be BUGGED.

Costume Lady said...

Glad you mentioned it Sharon, I would not have noticed it. Bev, that is beautiful.

MITS said...

Lolly said...

Good evening! Have laid a little low today....I felt glued to this yesterday! Glad everyone is home safe and sound. So, you had Eagle Talons, too! Boy, we did miss out!!!

Who's in the nest this evening, keeping Tiny company? They even look friendly side by side.

I felt sure he would soar today. Not to be. Tomorrow is it!!

NatureNut said...

Isn't that sweet on cam? 2 to snuggle.

Caught up on earlier comments. Mauley, your CJ will be in our prayers.
One of my daughter's best friends, who we know well & now lives up here from TX,is in Navy Reserve & will go to Afghanistan as a trainer in July. Leaving wife and 2tiny sons here.We can't believe it's happened.

MITS said...

YES, glad everyone is back home safe and sound, I'm glad Vicky won the eagle walking stick, so she could wack her engine if it gave her any more trouble....GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE......

ceil said...

I'm back for a second. Diane you should have come into the Eagle Express. Nice and cool in there. Thank you for coming. Mauley prayers being said for CJ and all our troops.
God please bring them home safe.

NatureNut said...

Did Megan get her REAL blog name back?? You know all of us on Comments last night are dying to know meaning of the alias?! Tee Hee

paula eagleholic said...

Awww 2 in the nest...and spidey's web is almost non existant!!

Mema Jo said...

I'm thinking that Spidey's web does serve a purpose - capturing all those bugs that are bugging our eaglets.
Probably due to all the fish & turtle scraps in the nest. lol I hope it's not the ticks crawling!

Costume Lady said...

Good Night Helen...sleep well.

paula eagleholic said...

Sissy, I love your pic too! It was great meeting you yesterday!

Ha Ha Wanda, that's a good one! (maybe spidey's web melted!)

Hey Nature, I was there and I don't know the name story either! Cough it up, ladies.

magpie said...

I think we have blogged our little brains out yesterday and today. If our eyes and fingers had "pedometers" I wonder how many "miles" we have logged. Glad, so Glad, to hear that all have returned home safely. Love seeing those two eagles bedded down for the night. Good Night everyone, we need to rest like the eaglets are resting. Thanks Again!

MITS said...

I'm back for a second....all inquiries into Megan's new name can be directed to MEMA JO....:)

Two, maybe three large black falcons on the ledge at San Jose, what a surprise!

paula eagleholic said...

Hey Mits, we asked her last night, and she doesn't remember!! Spill the beans!

NatureNut said...

Yes, Mits. Last night she played dumb - said it was a senior moment!! Heck, I think I'm more Sr. than she is!!!! LOL
Nitey Nite to you and all headed that way.

Mema Jo said...

I thought I heard someone say "Keep your talons on your side of the nest" lol

paula eagleholic said...

LOl Jo, I saw that too. Eaglets looks absolutely pooped! And I am too! Heading to bed early, it's been a wonderful weekend!

Costume Lady said...

Doesn't it do your heart good to see them like that? It must be Middy with Tiny. Pearl isn't that loving. LOL

deb said...

I am glad that you all had such a wonderful visit with the eagles and with each other. Too bad Tiny didn't fledge for you all, that would have been exciting for everyone to see.

Costume Lady said...

Paula, I love sunset and silhoutte pictures too. I like the barn in your photo. It adds something special to the meaning of it.

Costume Lady said...

Sleep well everybody. I am enjoying the sight of those two darlings and being able to see through Spidey's web, so I shall stay up for a while longer.

Costume Lady said...

Personally, I'm glad Tiny is still in the nest. When he leaves, we will all get the "Empty Nest Syndrome".

wvgal_dana said...

Enjoyed all comments and thankful for all the safe travels back to each Eaglet_Momsters nest.

Added CJ to the soldiers pray list.

It was such a joy to refresh friendships and meet new friends.
