Good Morning Norma, Candy, Wanda, Sharon and Jim. I see I missed a visit. It is 12 here this morning, and we have already had today's high temp, the cold front is hitting. With the windchill we are -8. They changed our windchill warning to an advisory, so must not going to be as bad as predicted.

I just checked the 10-day forecast. We will get up to 12 on Jan. 23. That is supposed to be first day back to double digits. Hopefully, they are wrong and it will warm up sooner. They tend to change the forecast a lot here.
Schools don't close too often, unless the wind is bad and blowing the snow around.
There were a lot. Looked like a boat load.

Parent been gone a long time this time from Tesoro. Still can't see a chick or chicks...darn had seen material wiggling but put that cause to the air moving it. Now that tiny material sticking up is not moving.

CNN is showing all these DEER in GUNNISON, CO. attempting to wade through the snow---which is up to the top of their legs!!---They don't want people to feed them hay---they can't digest hay!----Didn't know that---They are certainly digesting lots of my BLACK SUNFLOWER SEED!!----This is the first year that I have noticed that!!

When I checked it yesterday, they say the eagles are usually there between 8-10, which would be 10-12 for you in the east.

Norma Deb is watching the Eagle Cam at Fort St. Vrain! Deb mentioned it yesterday - I didn't think it was coming on until Feb! Glad she found it. This is the one that last year we joked about the eagles' hairdo!

My picture at BWO makes it look like 4 eagles sitting in a row. I am back from the grocery store and I am not leaving the house again. That wind is cold. All the talk of soup yesterday, I needed ingredients.

Vermillion police are investigating a string of nine burglaries in the last six days.
Officials say it wasn't hard for the burglar to get into the homes as none of them were locked.
Two of the burglaries happened at night when people were at home. Police say homeowners woke up and found a man going through their things.
The burglar is described as being about 6 feet tall.
I guess that means I better lock my doors until they catch him. That is the trouble with small towns, we are too trusting.
I guess they are visiting one at a time today.

We had one murder about 3 years ago, the first one in 35 years. I locked my doors for a while and then stopped again after a few weeks. I do lock when I go on vacation or away for a few days.

Hey there you all. I just looked into see two eagles, what looks like a small squirrel or mouse and is that another eagle in the nest with them?
I have not seen them show any interest whatsoever to whatever that is.
Hey, Candy, it sure looked like it, didn't it. It was the snow and shadows making in look that way. Sometimes it would look like two white socks.

Ok my guess finally on the meal at Belles feet is "a frozen whole fish". Rethink as I kept enlarging the pictures. I remembered when it snowed last year we all did the same thing. They did seem to want to eat it. Some how we found out it was because it was left in nest and frozen. They are waiting for it to thaw out some......that's what they did last year.
If you look between the nest, I think it looks like two bobble heads. Now that the parent is back , let's see.
