GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!---THANK YOU STEVEN for the new thread!!----It is a very dark rainy a.m. here in WV---temp 51°!!----Hopefully the SUN will come out & the ROYAL FAMILY will visit their nest this a.m.---ENJOY YOUR DAY STEVEN!!---
At the moment I have 3 things up; our nest, BW site with 2 eagles, and fortheloveofeagleforum (looking at Jo's 2 cats). Jo's one cat Tiger reminds me of the cat we had. Ty Jo for sharing that picture there. I sure makes my heart feel good to see Tiger almost my Tiger again. ty
OOppss Tigress well ours was male so he was called Tiger. Then the other looked something like Jo's but more black stripes through body was Tabitha. Daughter named her from the Bible.
That is a beautiful EAGLE at BW!!-----Wish our ROYAL COUPLE would appear soon!!!---Must check the "LITTLE PRINCE" to see what he is into this a.m.!!--We certainly miss SUZANNE!!!----Hope her dental appts. are PAINLESS!!!
Good Morning all. Thanks for the new thread STEVE. Haven't gone back to read old BLOG yet so not sure if Suzanne is busy or not in today. I surely do hope she is not still sick, and is just busy. That rain can make for a slow first morning of the week no matter which day it is. I am though sure glad to see that WV is getting quite a lot of rain since my visit. I want that river nice and full and those fish a breeeding like crazy. Got to have food in abundance for our Rayal Couple . Off for coffee and dog treats.
Well Norma and Dana know what time it is. Maybe Lib and Belle are resting up from their placement of the latest 2 by 4.
Hi Glo nice seeing you this morning. ( : Yes been raining here but glad it all isn't snow.
I've been having quite a morning with cams up, blog up, and going through fortheloveofeaglesforum. Been great!!! ( : I can do all that and see our blog and cams too. Just think what I could do with a 21" lcd screen lol
Morning again Wanda was holding the door open for you to get back in here lol
Good morning Dana, Norma and Glo. Good seeing you in the chat last night Dana. Crazy bunch there. Kinda Gloomy in North Alabama this morning. Hope we get some rain. Still over 23 inches short this year. Good Viewing Today!!
Sorry I left you all by yourself. I had to spend some time with The Capt. He is leaving tomorrow morning for his 10 day hunting trip and I want to spend all the time I can with him. I miss him so much when he is gone, but I am glad he has the opportunity to spend time with a group of such great guys. They seem to have a hoot.
Those Otter Brothers (6 Pak) sure do snap at each other... I feel like removing the straw bedding so the Clouded leopard can get a clean chomp of his meal!
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE What a wonderful sight to see and feel...RAIN...thank God for every drop, ...won't hear any complaints about it from me, have to catch up on reading.
MORNIN' PAULA & HELEN!!---O'PANDA PERSON!!----Been waiting for you to come on!!---What's the BIG YELLOW (floral?) ARCH in TAI'S area?--He ignored it early this a.m.!!
Thank you all for your caring words and cards. Yesterday was a rough day it was as if I lost a child. Tori is hurting but doing well, I can't stop crying when I read your emails or think about her. She will be back home in about 2 weeks as we will cremate her. She doesn't belong in a communal cremation she deserves so much more than that. She was a loyal companion, great watch dog and my baby.
Thank you all so much, you all are just super and loved.
Robyn - Is she listed in the Rainbow Bridge? Some of the bloggers may not realize that you lost your Border Collie, Samantha. Your mom, Bobbi, alerted us after she talked with you. It is hard to lose such a faithful friend! (((HUGS)))
Norma, haven't seen what you are talking about yet, the cams as I have mentioned numerous times are manned by volunteers from 7 to 7 in 3 hour shifts, if a volunteer is not there cams are not manned, if a keeper walks by and has a chance to move it onto a panda, they will, but, the are really to busy to notice the cams.
Dear Robin I am so sorry to read aobut you losing your wonderful Faithful furry friend and companion. I surely do understand your love and devotion to one who loved and was devoted to you in return. It sounds like she truly had a wonderful home and life with you, I pray she has left enough warm and special memories on your heart that soon the tears and pain in your heart will be replaced with only those kind of warm memories that such a great pet can leave for you. (((((((hugs))))))
Big old gnarly meat bone, Jo...If you go right under the pics, you can click on info about the clouded. Their paws are big, because the are great climbers, they also have the ability to climb down front paws first...great balance also, hence the long tail. They are one beautiful cat, you are so lucky to see one that close. We have a new pelt that we can take on the trail when we are interpreting.
ROBYN----I am so very SORRY to hear about the loss of your dog---I understand your pain---you are truly losing a member of your family----Thinking of you & TORI--
HELEN---I AGREE!!---this LEOPARD is just unbelievable & to see her up this close eating for this long---THAT'S A GOOD THING!!----Watched the video---they aren't SLOW!!
Norma, they are just one of the most beautiful animals I have ever seen. When I first signed up for the zoo, wasn't prepared for how much the other animals on the trail would steal my heart away fro the pandas...the pandas are great, but the sloths and otters really seem to have personalities. The people you saw in the sloth exhibit this a.m. were the keepers.
such a nice treat to see the cloudeds...I'm just guessing, but it is probably Tai, the male clouded, Mook is much smaller, and is the one who got out of the exhibit last December
that's the feeling you should have Norma, and pass the feeling around, we want people to get excited and interested in conservation, otherwise, these animals on the trail we not be seen in the future, like the eagles they need protection in order to survive.
Yes Jo, sammi is on the list for the candlelight on monday. Thank you Mits, Glo, Paula, Norma.
Dan is bringing his shepherd here thursday and it will hurt then too because I knew sammi would be giving him the business once he stepped out of the car.
BTW, glad you had her cremated and she will be back with you, I have my Buddy...so listen up everyone, I have told my hubby, family and friends, that I want Buddy to go with me, sooooo when I die make sure my hubby does not forget to do it.
Thank you Mits, I still hurt over my creeper especially now since he looks exactly like Yoda tori's kittie. I sometimes call him creeper and tori goes nuts when I do lol I tell her he is my creepie reincarnated.
Robyn - my Haley girl was 2 years ago Nov 2, she had cancer, finally had to put her down. She is now right by my front door, I see her every day :) Love it when she pops up on my screensaver :)
HELEN---The Nov. page of my calendar, which I have on my fridge---GUESS WHAT?----"LITTLE PRINCE"---(not really)---Little panda head side-ways looking at you!!!---Don't tell---I have found myself talking to him!!---(Think I need a LIFE) ho!!!---
Nobody on the nest when I opened the site, Mits, sorry to say.
Elephants at Pete's place. They were drinking away and a little one was bathing, when all of a sudden one of them starts trumpeting...everybody out of the pool!!
There apparently was a croc scare, but now they're drinking and spraying again.
I've been off line for a while..ran the spybot and cleaned up a bit. Atlanta Panda Cam down for the day Dang! Sorry I missed the visit to our nest... Looks like it is drying up a little...
You're right about that bridge!!! The reflection is fantastic - I was surprised that the follow up remarks were there - I had been checking once or twice a day just to see if any one of the birds were back on the ledge. Sound like F & F are still with Dolly. Glad you saw that comment, Paula!
Mits lol Mooseburgers are what you get when you go moose hunting & shoot one to bring home! I think there are rigid restrictions on shooting moose - like only allowed 1 every so many years. I'll look it up if I ever decide to go Moose Hunting!
they are ignoring him...Paula, eagle has been there for about 20 mins, there have been black birds dive bombing the nest, it was eating a fish or something.
lot of action up there, don't know how to take pics or I would have sent you some, Paula...that is the most I have seen them for quite awhile and the sounds were great lots of screamin and yelling on both eagles parts and the other birds, must have been a little fight going on, hear geese now and a crow
Hi, eagle lovers. It has been foggy up on this mountain all day until just a few minutes ago. It's 50 degrees and somehow the dampness outside reminds me of Spring. Robyn - I'm so sorry to hear about your dog, Samantha. Loosing pets is so hard, and only those who have been through it can fully understand.
Hey, Capt Eagle - I'll be watching for your wave to drift up from the valley tomorrow. If you have time, you could drive up and visit our office with the view "to die for". About 10 miles after Seneca Rocks - get on Rt.33 East towards Franklin. Right before the top of the mountain, make a right-hand turn onto the "Road Less Traveled". Go about 1/4 mile on the dirt road to the Future Generations office.
Tai has found a pile of bamboo out in his yard near his red/yellow/red balls. I think I just saw what Norma questioned earlier - the yellow arch! I think it is simply autumn leaves on a curved branch... Just may be that.
I could just give Tai a hug as he looks through that partition. I guess he is really just seeing 2 large pandas that he may like to play with and not really being homesick for his Mom
Tai is all over that same spot in tree but every which way. Hanging over, on this stomach over, now on his back rubbing and scratching. It's a wonder he doesn't fall. ok going down now.
Dana - I don't know the difference between Tian & Mei...... Can really only tell those 2 when I see them in the same yard or den... I can usually tell Tai because he isn't as long as the adults... Like right now I think Tai is inside! The other 2 adults are still outside!
It's almost like trying to guess which eagle is in our nest - I have gotten to the point that it really doesn't matter, just so I can see them...
Ok he says I've played enough up the tree, inside with my ball, now it's time for some bamboo ! Nope forget it back to the pushing around of the blue ball. lol he is a character
It is confusing alot of times when watching the DC pandas. Unless I see two I am not for sure who I see. Yet when watching both cams here there are 2 on one cam and 1 on the other cam Rawhoo I got it lol!!
Hi Dana, how is everything going. I dont know whats goingon here but here I am. This sight has been blocked for a month and now here it is. It was and sunny here. Fall has arrived .
Mits wasn't that a fish the eagle was eating??? Atleast that is what I thought it was eating...Fuzz from a rabbit like I said I thought it was fish. But what do I know lol

The clouded leopard really has large (HUGE) paws!
Yes, Robyn, it is so very hard....Thanks again, BOBBI for alerting us on the blog yesterday.
I know that no one spotted our eagles this morning, but from the looks of the nest (new leaves/bark) they must have been there.
I am just fascinated watching the CLOUDED LEOPARD---WOW!--She is cleaning her paws now!!!----She must eat BONE & all!!!
Mits can you tell us what kind of food they give the leopard - she/he is really enjoying chewing it!
Going to get some breakfast food - clouded leopard made me realize I hadn't eaten yet... Too busy watching him/her eat/chew that bone of meat!

Norma, they are just one of the most beautiful animals I have ever seen. Norma Double click on the leopard cam like you do on the ButaButa cam. WOW!!
Double click again when you want it to go back to regular size......

BEAR went back in behind the ROCKS!!! -----Look how long the LEOPARD'S tail is!!---(i sound like a kid) ho!---SHE'S COOL!!!!
such a nice treat to see the cloudeds...I'm just guessing, but it is probably Tai, the male clouded, Mook is much smaller, and is the one who got out of the exhibit last December
that's the feeling you should have Norma, and pass the feeling around, we want people to get excited and interested in conservation, otherwise, these animals on the trail we not be seen in the future, like the eagles they need protection in order to survive.

Yes Jo getting to be a nice day outside.
Woo Oregon nest is filled up with snow. wow
There really is a deeeeeeeep hole at the egg well in the Kent nest.
Squirrels I think are the culprits
Glad you said something Jo. I was looking at that earlier. Thought I was seeing things.
I would like to see some Eagle Talon prints in the snow at the OR nest...
blackbirds at BW

Thinking same things you and me....better watch out. lol
Take a look at the blue water in Maine!
Come on over to the Moose Cam

Love the snow in Oregon...
Thanks, Jo. It's updating. It never seems to when I check it.
Jo, what do you call more then 1 moose?
M O O S I E S lol
That is the first I have ever seen it updated....... Cool!
Frodocam Note -
Good news!
Workers at Admiralty Towers say they have seen all three birds flying around the building.

You're right about that bridge!!!
The reflection is fantastic - I was surprised that the follow up remarks were there - I had been checking once or twice a day just to see if any one of the birds were back on the ledge. Sound like F & F are still with Dolly. Glad you saw that comment, Paula!
What do Moosies eat?
MIts - I think Mooseburger is what you make of them! :0
Heading out for the bank...BBIALW
Awww the moosie is gonna lay down! Or maybe he was stretching.
Mits lol Mooseburgers are what you get when you go moose hunting & shoot one to bring home! I think there are rigid restrictions on shooting moose - like only allowed 1 every so many years. I'll look it up if I ever decide to go Moose Hunting!
then maybe the moosies eat vege burgers.
man. the lighter it gets the prettier the frodocam gets.
moose all gone
Hay manager
Salt lick
Moose also love apples
EAGLE UP IN MAINE
Eting fish, other one is nearby.
still eating in MAINE
BIG BLACK BIRDS ARE DIVE-BOMBING THE EAGLE NEST IN mAINE
OMG Eagle in Maine!!!
Just heard the other one call.
Mei and Tian are right nest to Tai-Shan

Thanks, Mits. Was happy to get a glimpse!
lot of action up there, don't know how to take pics or I would have sent you some, Paula...that is the most I have seen them for quite awhile and the sounds were great lots of screamin and yelling on both eagles parts and the other birds, must have been a little fight going on, hear geese now and a crow
Tai is quite vocal, trying to get Mei and Tians' attention, they are still ignoring him, think he wants there treats also
Eagle at BW!!
Great viewing today!
Hi, eagle lovers. It has been foggy up on this mountain all day until just a few minutes ago. It's 50 degrees and somehow the dampness outside reminds me of Spring. Got work to do - take care everyone.
awesome viewing today, I need to get back to chores .
Mei Xiang is not happy that Tai is soooo close to her space
Watching panda cams - I guess Tai is on Cam 2 playing with the lid near the partition where Mei can see him
Memories of the 2 of them playing together as a mom & son seem like just yesterday...
Tai has found a pile of bamboo out in his yard near his red/yellow/red balls. I think I just saw what Norma questioned earlier - the yellow arch!
I think it is simply autumn leaves on a curved branch... Just may be that.
YES JO, saw that also and that is exactly what it is.
Tai is peeking in on Mei and Tian
now he is licking the rest of his honey lid.
wish I were there interpreting, that would be fun, can hear the interpreter
If this doesn't chase all away.
Tai is up a tree cam 2
I could just give Tai a hug as he looks through that partition. I guess he is really just seeing 2 large pandas that he may like to play with and not really being homesick for his Mom
Tai is all over that same spot in tree but every which way. Hanging over, on this stomach over, now on his back rubbing and scratching. It's a wonder he doesn't fall. ok going down now.
Ok if that wasn't Tai on cam 2 who was it???? Help
As Norma would say, He is a little Toot! Up in that tree and now back at the partition......
There are two pandas on my cam 1 only 1 panda on my cam 2.
Woo Hoo! They are nose to nose
That is soooooooo cool - what a
reunion
Awwwww Tai had one paw up on screen and Mei on other side put one paw up. Then Mei put two paws up and Tai on his side put two paws up awwwww
Tai inside is pushing a blue ball around.
Well wasn't that nice of Tai to show us his Poop Shoot! lol
Tai pusing blue ball all over the place. Not trying to get any treats out if there are any in it.
Some little panda cub is playing with back feet in water. While laying his head across a rock lol now that is a snap shot hee hee
I think this one (if not Tai) wore itself out with the blue ball.
Both cams at DC showing pandas eating bamboo.
Doesn't that look like snow in the Maine nest?
it was not there this a.m., Paula, and their high temp was in the mid-50's today, it showed up when the eagle was eating.
Dont ask me what going on but I just got on the blog at work. Hurray!
