Just dragged myself out of bed and got dressed. I am sitting here with my cup of coffee. Sorry I slept through Liberty/Belle's visit. It seemed as if it was short.

GOOD MORNING NORMA! How are you this fine morning? Just got on myself and saw where BOB was heading back to his GOLDEN EAGLE. He must really be excited.
NORMA I only have one bird at BW, but was wondering if we were getting a pair yesterday. This one is sitting where Lonesome Louis usually sits. He was there early yesterday, but then later an eagle came and sat on the other side of the osprey nest. Wondered if we were going to have a relationship picking up. :)

I sure hope that immature golden eagle is there. Just putting on a show for Bob to get lots of pictures. Boy you could feel the excitement for him getting the pictues he did and finding out what he actually had photographed.
Yes NORMA it must have been really excoting for him. I sure he sees more and gets some good pics. His pics are sooooo beautiful and lifelike. He seems to capture nature just as it is. Wish I could do that.

priest was talking about Veterans'day yesterday, and I have never been a big history buff, but he quoted the reason for its observance..."the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, 1918, hubby said, and I have since gone to the site, that is when WW1 ended, the war to end all wars...little before my time.

Hi JO and MITS and anyone else I might have missed. Missed talking to you all. Robyn just called me and told me she had to put her border collier sammy down today. Needless, to say she isn't feeling great and neither is tori. Tori grew up with sammy. Sammy was a great dog very protective. Know she would appreciate hearing from you. Maybe pick her spirits up. She had me crying on this end along with her and tori. Think she needs to hear from some friends right now.

Thanks mits. I think we have all been through it. Sadly, sammi got out last night from the yard and was found today by the side of the road. Someone must have hit her while she was crossing street. Some good samaritan found her and brought her into the animal shelter.

Wanda - the 4 you sent I already placed in the album. I was trying to get you to read the directions for placing photos into the Momster's albums so you could learn how easy it is for you to do. Let me know after you read them - print them out - Paula has made them very user friendly in writing them up.
Thanks JO for the Power Point presentation of our eagle visit. I had look at all the cams and everyone seemed to be doing other things when I got home so I went in for one of your Panda naps. I left everything on, but withoug a bell or siren, I wouldn't know that birds were in the nest.:) But thanks to the Power Point presentation of everyone's pics, I got to see our famous couple.

Hey NORMA just was watching a DUKE basketball game. Of course they were way out ahead of their opponent. That is the only team that I like to beat every year, if we can.
Well, nothing is appearing on any site, so guess I'll call it a night. It has been fun being on here for two full days. Oh how I wish I could be on all the time for all the excitement and watchings.

Wow, you should see the Yellow-Billed Stork and the Great Blue Heron fishing almost side-by-side in one of the little lagoons at Pete's Pond.

Like last night (early morn at Pete's), the stork and a small egret were taking a break on the bank, and "Fatty" the croc. slipped out of the water and onto the bank right at the birds. But they saw him, and he's acting like he's just looking for sun to stretch out in.
His gut looks a little flat and empty this time, so he probably would settle for a good sized bird.

GOOD TUESDAY MORNING TO EVERYONE THAT WILL BE WATCHING OUT THERE IN EAGLE LAND! I got up early as I was awake, got dressed and came in to talk to SUZANNE and she is among the missing again today so far.
Bot BW and our nest are MT and Squiggs is sleeping alone in SD. She is such a cutie, She must be having a dream as she move from time to time while she is sleeping. Now I am off to Pete's Pond for a second.
NORMA Carolina plays basketball tonight at 7pm on ESPN. At least that is what it said last night as I was watching DUKE totally win, as usual.

GOOD MORNING WANDA!Glad you finaly mae it on. No I haven't ever tried the bag, but my sister swears by it. James likes to do it the old fashion way, except we don't sue the old grinder anymore :) She says it is much easier to clean up after and leaves the turkey so moist.
I guess we aren't going to see an early visit this moring. I think that I am watching the back of JIM's stork in Pete's Pond. It is just sititng on the ground with it's back to the camera.
Bai looks as if she is trying to stand on her head. She has been like that since she came back in to her den. Maybe she doesn't want to crush Squiggles or is that Squigs beside her now?
I swear by it also, Candy. I always use a bag. It cuts the cooking time quite a bit too.
I did a turkey last week and didn't have a bag large enough, so I cooked it the old fashioned way, It wasn't nearly as moist and it took forever to get done.
Well WANDA, Dana went back for a Panda nap and I am going to have to get off and head to school. I hope you get to see our Liberty and Belle sometime this morning. Both nests are still MT:( YOU ALL HAVE A NICE WATCHING DAY! BBL
It is another ugly morning here. Raining hard and cold. Our eagles are probably huddled together somewhere keeping dry.
Well maybe one year I can convince James to try it that way. He is a bit stubborn at times. Tradition.

Oh ok, raining up there. It has a high of 88 here but now is 55 with possible showers in the PM. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny with a high in the low 70's. It looks like the sun or maybe it is the light making shadows of the nest at BW.

Sorry Candy and Wanda I wasn't panda napping not yet. I have been over in the loveforeaglesforum. I have replay a dozen time this one video with music that is simply beautiful and peaceful. About birds in Singapore and then fish all around you. Awesome....
