Hi Dana Actually it is a balmy 51 BUT we are headed down to the 20's tonight. I will lose my outside flowers this week. Brought a Fuscia inside to try to winter it over. I hope it works. Hi Red good to see you here this morning.

LOL, Dana, coffee allllll gone! I have Paula's travel mug here at work to keep the coffee warm, cause it takes me a while to drink a cup. So, darn, doesn't keep my hands warm. Wish I could type in gloves! I sit right under an AC vent, and it goes on every morning at 5 till 5! BRRRRRR. Ridiculous when it's so cold out now!

DANA, I had Maine up til the storm came up Saturday p.m. Live is not up, but looks like still is working, you can tell by the angle of sun on the nest that it is a.m., That area had 85 mph winds and above, so might be awhile before they get back on track
If it was me and I could stand on my desk and reach it. I would fold a piece of cardboard and tape it up there to make the cold go another way. That's just me and I would probably get in trouble. So I'd tell them then I can too do it because I am freezing.....

Dana, I would like to do that, unfortunately, I don't usually carry tools with me to work. It's in a tile ceiling, so I'd have to take the grate tile off before I could reach it. But hey, at 4 in the morning, usually nobody here but me, so I could do that!

LOL, yes, Norma, and believe it or not, I have some. Used them in Germany. But ya can't type with them on, you keep them in your gloves or mittens! If you use hand warmers, mittens are better, but typing can be a bear that way!
SUZANNE---IMPORTANT!!!!!---My Sunday "Woods Editor" says!!---This is MATING season for DEER!---When they are chasing the DOES---They do not stop & will dart directly across the road!!!---He says if you see "ONE" DEER--slow down---& watch the sides of the road---BECAUSE THERE IS ALMOST ALWAYS A "SECOND DEER" NEARBY!!!!
Hello Norma:) When I'm working outside I use those hand warmers you shake to activate, but they only last for 7-8 hrs.

OMG now think about it we could get a small group together and travel there.. Who knows Cap Gene gas up the Eagle EXPRESS!!!! MTBR

Mits I still wished they hadn't cut the limb last season in Maine. I think it gave more protection from the winds, rains, and snow.
We could see them ok. Of course now see them better when they are there.

Now I'm really glad they cut the limb, Dana, not for the reason of seeing them better, which was not the reason they cut it, but, for their protection, so it would not fall on the nest.
Paula, I was surprised Maine was up so fast, Peggys' Cove is still down.

I haven't seen the one at Atlanta, Nilla, but Lisa told us about the one at San Diego, and I watched that video.

Good morning, world. Raining out in PA, but not here, though the roads are wet, so it has been raining. We still need it. 48° at my house, 54° here, not too bad.
Took day cold pills on the way down here at 2:03, and now have an Airborne which I'm drinking. Believe it or not, doesn't taste too bad. I guess.
We have an awesome pic on our cam, hope the kids show up this morning. Looks like the same pic that was there yesterday on the F&F cam. Will have to check to see if Dolly-Hope returned to let us know she was alright!
Ok, gonna check cams find out what's going on in the world. Tai is sound asleep on what looks like rocks on cam 2, and bai and Squiggles are asleep in birthing den. Oh, since we can vote more than once, want to vote for Squiggles real name again.

Tai has rolled over onto his back, has hind legs in the air, and his front legs are out up over his head. He is adorable! I guess Pandas really like to sleep on their backs.
But both cams have 06:04 as the time, and it's just now 5:00. So something isn't right, but good cam pic, so who cares.
Well, darn, read the panda blog for SD, and Mei Sheng left yesterday for China. Made me cry. I wish him all the best, and hope he makes lots of baby pandas!

The boys go home today after school and YAY peace and quiet and I can straighten up my home lol.
I have missed so much this past week, I did get to see Dolly(Hope)hanging out on the ledge a few days ago and then poof, she is gone.
