Now Squiggles is back on cam in SD. And I too haven't seen Dolly today ... but I did see her lying on the wall considerably after dark last night. Don't know if she flew the jernt this morning, or if she's at the other end of the ledge.

Jim, there was a hurricane that past off the coast of DEL-MA-VA, yesterday, but doesn't look like they got any rain from it....yesterday almanac for the area said trace.
Nilla...My daughter moved into a mountainous area close to Front Royal (Linden, Va.) a few years ago and has a lot of birds around her house. She has put up feeders and planted flowers and attracted a lot of different birds and a love for them. So, of course, the next step in the love of birds, comes the love for EAGLES. So she has joined us and is about to join our journey of love for wildlife and each other. She is a wonderful youg woman and is my BABY (I have an older daughter).
They roost in the trees, just like other birds. When they start to think seriously about a family and produce some eggs, they are in the nest most of the time.
That is why I will always have the Sycamore Nest Tree - I just don't think I remember how to change it without a having a hassle. AND the eagles are right up in that tree above our nest!
I'm going to have to check with others to see if they are getting them. Mostly everyone is - but maybe 2 or 3 others I need to chek on. It is your verizon account right?
I've checked my settings and everything should be going through to you. I'll call Shentel and see if they can help me tomorrow. Although I thinks it's weird how you get verizon mail on Yahoo screen.
Make sure to watch the video of Dolly fledging...watch closely, she's fast.

Nice clear night out, tons of stars, and saw a sliver of a moon down here. 33 at my house, 41 here, but not windy so not too bad. Did have to scrape this morning, but it wasn't much. See Dolly-Hope has fledged. There is a video on their site dated today with first flight. So she fledged today sometime. It's evening there now, and all I see is an MT nest. Maybe she'll come back and let us know she's doing alright. That was sure fast! Bai and Squiggles are asleep in birthing den, and Tai is curled up in a ball asleep on cam 2, and can't see panda on cam 1. Need to go see what I missed. All have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
Morning, Jim. Sorry I missed you. Didn't expect anyone to be up this early on this Monday. Figured everyone would be training their body clocks to the new times. Glad you're getting a flu shot, got mine a couple weeks ago. And yup, got the clocks that I use changed, but did get up early. But slept most of the weekend anyway, cold is still hanging on and making me crazy! Can't seem to shake it. Hopefully, soon. Ok, Jim, sleep tight, and get a good rest. Blog at you later.
Maybe talk before you leave again... Try that "Zicam"--homeopathic-- at any drug store. Make sure you breathe deeply through your nose for a while, and it should help a lot.

Mom walked out and left our Squiggles all alone. And yup, that last almost a whole minute! Squiggles was squiggling, now mom has her. Mom came in with a half ton of bamboo, picked up Squiggles and think she may be trying to get Squigs to nurse. Mom is sitting right in the middle of all the bamboo. Yup, Squiggles is nursing, but I can't see Bai's legs, they're under the bamboo. Oh my, now we're gonna roll the Squiggles.

Wanda, it's Meerkats! They live on the Kalahari, and Columbia(?) University has been studying them for 4 years now. Awesome show! It's on Animal Planet Fridays at 8:30, at least in my area. Also repeats on Saturdays at 11:30, and sometimes in the afternoon at 3:30. It is an awesome show! But unfortunately last Friday was the last show of Season 3. I found them by accident, and watch them every week, but gotta admit, mostly on Saturdays, cause I fall asleep on Fridays!
Check into Dish Blue I heard it is expensive. If you have called verizon and cable and they can't give you an idea when they might be available to you. Well then I guess Dish Blue is what you'll have to go with. There isn't a something called "frontier" is there Butterfly?

Well - I thought all birds "live" in the nest (or hole in the tree). Just like Daddy says - you learn something every day.

DANA--how did you know Butterfly Mama was my daughter?
Last season and the one before I always went by the tail feathers. Didn't have too much of a problem.
This season the way the cam is set to picture them is so different. I'm still trying to tell them apart.

When Belle is in the nest, it doesn't look like there is going to be room for 3 babies. The nest looks smaller. I guess it is the cam angle.

Yes, Suz, BM is my baby. Her name is KARLA and she joined us yesterday. I'm soooo glad to have her on board.

I agree, Wanda. The inside looks smaller than last year by quite a bit. I'm hoping it's all those sticks they have in the center that maybe they're gonna use to build up the sides! Cause Belle sure fills that nest when she's in it. No wonder little Lib stays on his perch, he can hardly fit.

Suzanne - I live somewhere on a mountain and am limited to lifes conveniences - so all we have is dial up. Dish Blue is available - I think we may go with that.

Dana - Verizon isn't even the phone system here - we have Embarq (which used to b Sprint). Comcast is outrageous - almost unreal. We have Dish Network and can get Dish Blue - so I better get it soon so I can keep up! LOL
Wanda, it's Meerkats! They live on the Kalahari, and Columbia(?) University has been studying them for 4 years now. Awesome show! It's on Animal Planet Fridays at 8:30, at least in my area. Also repeats on Saturdays at 11:30, and sometimes in the afternoon at 3:30. It is an awesome show! But unfortunately last Friday was the last show of Season 3. I found them by accident, and watch them every week, but gotta admit, mostly on Saturdays, cause I fall asleep on Fridays!
Check into Dish Blue I heard it is expensive. If you have called verizon and cable and they can't give you an idea when they might be available to you. Well then I guess Dish Blue is what you'll have to go with. There isn't a something called "frontier" is there Butterfly?
