Not to worry about her need for food as eagles can go several days without eating. When you get a good look at her crop it bulges showing there is a good supply there for her. Looks like he has a full crop, too.

DANA, I think her vocalizing was directed toward something nearby, not toward Shep. Just my opinion.
I'm so bummed when I have to do work over that I feel sure that I have done before. I can't find my "100th day of school" lesson plans. I know what I do, but I can't find my "plans". So I am off to write them over! I looked on both computers, here and at school. Nothing!
Oh I was joking when I said it. I just thought it sounded like she was chewing him out. I remembered being home all day and how I felt so I was just being silly.

When he first landed, I thought the same thing...then they both began calling. Glad it's quiet now.
And now that there is an egg, they will be VERY defensive! They will call out at anything that gets too close to the nest!
DANAMO, I can remember calling Denny at work one day when Brian was 4 and Kevin was a newborn and telling him to get his ass home before I shook his son so hard I detached his retinas!! That was the direct quote and you had better bet that Denny flew home!! =D

Kay, snipping tool is a little program on Windows7 that allows you to "snip" a picture from an online live feed or video...
if anyone was outside down there, including the kids and the DayCare Teachers....they had to have heard and seen some things.....
And I was taking pics when Shep arrived, and it makes my feed temporarily stop, so I couldn't witness any food exchange!

I missed all the action as I was in on the computer, reading and deleting mail. I have been having lots of problems with fb. Can not send a message as it freezes up. Then I have to reboot. Not going to try to send anymore messages with fb,.
I do hope Belle finds a good belly filling meal. She has another egg or two to lay.

My mother used to use human hair, from us kids I guess OUCH to darn woolen sweaters....you can barely see the stitching...I can send you some of mine if you like ☺
Using the snipping tool....mine feezes up and I have to wait way too long. So afraid of missing something.
I couldn't blog and watch earlier Lolly...I shut everthing down, did a bunch of stuff, working much better now.

I had heard of that MARGY...My hair is very long, goes down to my bum, so if I was to try it I have plenty hair...too much sometimes it seems like to me!!! LOL!!! The sweater darned nicely and it is all done...now to cooking and cleaning the kitchen...

Every year we buy two poinsettias for Christmas at church. We used to get them after the holidays, but for the last two years I did not get them. They would last till summer and then I would plant them outside. Going to say something to the person in charge next year. I hate the idea of them throwing them out.

You all probably know this.
The Moon and all the planets are in an "Arc of the Elliptic" means they are all pretty much in the same path...Find the Moon, follow it to the next brightest object Westward, there's Jupiter, keep going, there's Venus...
sometimes a planet will be a little "off" the arc'ed path, but you'll find them in pretty much this way....
but sometimes these planets are out of night-time sight and you won't see them....we're lucky with Jupiter and Venus these winter months...Saturn and Mars come out later on, before sunrise...

Had to laugh at the images that DanaMo and Sandi painted of when the kids were young! I remember feeling the same way more than once!! My best "outlet" was getting on the riding mower and mowing the yard!!! Couldn't hear a thing...not one single "Mommy....Mommy, she such and such me!!" Of course, could only do that when he was home....and after they got older!!!!

Oh Sandi, that is too funny!
Annemarie is the one who made me feel that way. Monte was traveling from the time she was a couple of months old, but the real trouble came when she was 2 and crawled out of the crib. We decided it was safer to put her in a big girl bed. Well that was the end of any of my peace. She wouldn't nap, wouldn't go to bed, would listen to me period and I would sit at the bottom of the stairs and cry! Thank God my mother was close by!

when James was little, his hearing was not so good, because he was so small when he was born....his ear canals took awhile to "grow up."
we could often not understand what he was trying to "say." I guess because he was also hearing things, garbled...and maybe just repeating what he was hearing.
Sometimes he would just slap us in the face out of frustration....
that's all in the past now....
I would call him "Grandson" - and the first time he repeated it, it was "Grinson." I still call him that sometimes

This weekend, on Sun morn, here came Zach a little before 7. "It's morning", he announced. His parents slept til 9:30. I asked him if his parents sent him in to me. Yes, they did! LOL Told Jack is was easier when Joseph was little and Laurel did that. Just talked with her and told her about Zach. She laughed!!! But, we have to get up every morning. I told her....I did too, when you were little!
