Robyn Ann Schonhans Saw Tori, she is agitated again but she's still very stable since the new lungs she isn't desatting anymore. Not sure what is on for today but we will find out soon· · 12 minutes ago
SHARON, love the dress, esp. the gathering on the one side - very elegant! But if you're like me, you will have at least 5 more "maybes" before you arrive at "the one!"
Funny story, this morning there was a meeting of all of the 8th grade teachers in my classroom from 8:45 - 9:30. I had the cam running but minimized. During the meeting, Belle did some vocalizing and everyone started looking around the room. I calmly explained that what they were hearing was a female eagle that needed to eat, stretch, and take a pee after 16 hours of sitting on an egg!! It made for some good comic relief!
LYNN, ouch is right! 30 copays times $35 per copay?? No small chunk of change!!
HODA, how's the dog bite today? Hope it's healing nicely!
WANDA, hope you take it easy today - you don't need backsliding when you've been doing so well!
This appears to be Egg #20..got that info thanks to Paula's report on the E-M page...
The I-T fellow with the County (whose wife works at the NCTC Day Care) has not yet seen the eagle in the nest when he comes to the office to work on things. Boy, will he see that Eagle Now !!
Hello Eagle Pals..... time to do things here at home and watch the nest here Belle is looking UP sometimes, hope Proud Papa Shep is there....and that she gets to go soar and exercise her body soon again
I have that dress listed on the wish list at David's Bridal. I just hate paying $188 for a dress I will wear once but I will only be the mother of the groom once! :)
SANDI, Thank you...the dog bite is OK...no infection some bruising is showing up clearer around the area. The puncture holes are not bleeding and I have taken tyleno as it is still a bit sore...I did my morning stretches and all is good. Funny about the kids questions and your answer...the best part of being in a class room I would say.
Since I am the oldest one in my Mama's and Papa's family I had to send messages of celebration for the wedding on Friday. So I phoned a wonderful little flower shop in this area and they were so excited about the order and I had a great time representing the lineage through a bouquet of flowers to my niece and her new husband. I laugh as he comes from the tribe of Gold...This is her married name...I hope they have some of it in their bank accounts too!!!LOL
Sharon, the dress is loverly. I really like it! Weddings are so much fun. When we went to a wedding Jan 7 I wore my mother of the groom dress. It is short. I was thrilled to wear it as 3 years ago when I wanted to wear it, it was too tight. Woo Woo!
It is a good purchase SHARON and it will make for many memories and you will look awesome in it...I agree with LOLLY go for it...sometimes we simply have to put the little voice that speaks of "too much money" away and go with what our heart tells us... Somehow I now think this way about LOLLY'S Christmas tree that she spoke of before...it is the joy of seeing those grand boys around such a tree that would make it a gift to the whole family and what joy...now why did my mind bring this up again??? I think I mis- spoke when LOLLY asked us...sorry LOLLY...
I was a bad girl.....ever since phone company switch, I have trouble remembering that the bill is due a week earlier than it was with Verizon. AARGH! I missed it! And didn't have an authorization code to pay it online....so my sweet SIL Shannon went to the office (the only local on eis near them, and they have a good friend working there) and paid it in person for me!! WHEW! Gotta start paying more attention!!
Oh, (((HUGS))) Hoda! No, you did not say anything wrong at all!!! We live in Texas, all real trees are hauled in and cost an arm and a leg. An artificial tree with lights is just going to be expensive. When we got to thinking about it, the tree we have now is way over 20 years old. So, if you think about the years you can use it, it is not too bad. And, yes....I am picky when it comes to Christmas trees. LOL I want big and beautiful!!!
Get posting of comments of Belle and Shep at the nest. Thank you all! (:
I see Belle is sitting and not laying. That must mean that the sun up there feels good.
I am very PROUD of our Shep. Reading your comments when Belle came back Shep did not want to get up and off the egg .... hee hee that makes me very very HAPPY for Shep our new Dad.♥
So far he has taken his responsibilities very well.
Home for lunch and got to start reading over 200 to read and the cats want petted tooo Did he come and bring food and shes not on the egg either ???????
Judy - No food brought in is ok! Belle needs to stretch her legs and fly out and get her own food. Not until Eaglets need to be fed will we see food in the nest.
After a full clutch is laid (1k,2,or 3 eggs) will full time incubation begin. Egg rolls will be regular... but incubation with the last egg will mean that hatching days are not so far apart.
JudyEn Belle flew out of nest today and Shep came in and sit on the egg. He looked at it for awhile. Like,"I'm a Daddy". Belle went and ate. When she did come back Shep did not waht to get off of egg lol
Shep is doing good so far. Food to the nest is after the egg/s hatches.
Well if it was very cold and Belle was sitting on the eggs.Liberty would bring food to the nest and even feed her. You have to consider how long they were together for that type of interaction.
JUST READING TO WHERE SHE CAME BACK AT 1048 SO SHE WAS GONE LONG ENOUGH TO FIND FOOD 927-1048 I FEEL BETTER NOW AND READING HOW HE IS DOING WITH THE EGG MAKES ME SMILE
Does anyone know of anybody coming to April 20th and 21st. That has a room at Clairon and would like to have a room mate that will pay her way????? Iris wants to come and there are no more rooms there or at the Comfort. You all know that Iris is a very nice clean person and fun!!!
Well Her Majesty took a twenty one gun salute to celebrate teh start of her Diamond Jubilee and then spnet the morning with elementary school children watching plays..the kids invited her and she went...she seemed pleased to be there...60 years have gone by rather fast I would say...
Good morning! I want to wish Sandra a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hope it's really special for you!
I'm about to go to Best Buy to schedule pickup for our defunct TV, and pay for it--AND re-schedule installation of our new TV!
Glad our DVR is still taping some shows for us. Hope it doesn't get too full to tape anything before they get our new TV working!
Got behind the entertainment center and vacuumed up what looked like a couple of years worth of cobwebs (!) while the electrician was here. That huge piece of furniture is nearly impossible to move, and it weighs a couple of tons, for sure! Not usually enough room behind it to vacuum there--yuck!
So good to hear that Shep has been incubating the egglet this morning! Hope he gets the idea about bringing Belle some food too!
I mean't to tell you about the dress you gave the link for. It is very pretty and I think the Grooms Mother should buy it. You would look beautiful in that dress.
Ok, so I'm confused. I've been watching the next for the last month (at least) and every time I see Belle, Shep is right there. Why has he pulled the disappearing act now? You can see she's looking for him. After last year, I guess I'm paranoid.
Good Afternoon ! Have been catching up with you all and enjoying Belle, egg rolling, sunning and giving us a very good look at that egg !
This is the ultimate reality show ! While it may be fun to ascribe some human emotions wants and needs, we need to remember our lovely eagles are acting on time honored instinct. Mother Nature knows best !
Oh, yes, PAULA, I know the eggs are often turned far more often than the literature says is necessary. Just don't think there should be great alarm if it isn't done every 20 or 30 minutes. Also, leaving the egg exposed a while, as Belle is doing now, is done based on weather the experts say.
This is definitely the ULTIMATE reality show. Won't watch any other! I feel the same way Kay. Mother Nature knows best. We shouldn't worry about whether these eagles are doing the right thing or not. They know EXACTLY what they're doing.
The nest action is going great. Just because WE don't see Shep means very little. He may be in a tree nearby watching and guarding his new family. Also, it is very common to let (especially) the first egg cool some to slow incubation. This allows the eaglets to be closer in size when hatched. Ain't Mother Nature Grand :-)
I'm actually home sick today so I'm able to watch. This year I have a kindergarten run along with my other runs so I won't be able to watch live as often as I'd like to. It's definitely great to be back here again though! Oops I hear Belle yelling! LOL
Good point WV sUSAn ! This behavior indicates she know there will be another egg or two and they need to hatch within just a few days when the time comes. Thanks !
I want to thank everyone for their kind words Saturday when I shared that my daughter's cat, Pookie, had an accident and ultimately ended up with aputation of her left front leg. She is doing fabulous!! She was jumping up and down from the sofa Saturday, purring constantly and seemed oblivious to her loss. Last night, Andrea said she woke up and Pookie was in bed with them. And, the bed is really high. wow She is out mixing with the other cat and dog and she just continues to amaze me. Thanks again to you all.
Kay, even just hours from such trauma, she was purring, rolling and streatching on her back and very mobile. I am amazed, too. Bless sweet little Pookie <3
sUSAn, so glad to hear that Pookie is making a quick recovery and adjustment. Animals are SO adaptable!!!
Maria....are you a school bus driver? YIKES!!! You mist have nerves of steel!
DanaWV...I don't understand your SS situation. Drawing off Ed's has nothing to do with it. You must have opted for "early" at 62, right? That reduces the amount you get...no matter who it's being drawn against because it extends the number of years of collection. Since we were born in '49, our allowed retirement age for full SS benefits is 66.
Hi, Kay - Montana is doing fine - I have to say though that moving from sea level to the mountains (just 5000 ft and not high altitude) is hard on the body! I had to get a humidifier - which would have been absurd in Boston.
Therapy is done for today...added two more exercises: stand on my tip toes, up and down, 30 times. Shallow knee bends, 30 times. Peace of cake:) Mel fussed at me for being on my feet so long to cause excess swelling...has me lying down with ice pack rest of the day:(
IRENE, hope that humidifier makes you much more comfortable. Spent much of my life in the West where the air is often cleaner and dryer. Adding some moisture is wise !
There are about three fish currently in the Sequoyah pantry. That pop is one heck of a provider--he's way out ahead of his triplet's needs !
Wanda, it's on the page before this one. Wow--those exercise sound hard!!! Glad that it was easy for you! I cancelled my ortho apptmt. for Th. Tom always says if I'm doing fine, no need to follow-up....and my knee is about 95% better, so if it was a tear, it's healed pretty well. The brace really helped, along with not being so active!
Irene, that dry air is very different from the eastern seaboard!!
Belle is being quite vocal as she hovers closer over the egg. That's just the way she used to call for Liberty ! I love the feeling of getting back to "normal" at Sycamore Palace.
NBG reports having the male and a female at the nest for a while this morning. They've indentified four different females with him. Puzzling and interesting !
Not only calling loud she moved closer to her cup...I do not think she is happy...someone is up in the tree, she keeps looking up and this is when another wide angled camaera would be really helpful...
Bathroom is cleaned...some mending and laundry next...I will also make a vegetable and meat cubes.LYNN said to eat red meat for iron, so every once in a while I will do so...maybe once a month...every little bit helps.....
Don't think that the fact that Ed was already drawing would affect your being able to draw, Dana, unless you took it early, which I see can start at 60.
here's a laugh for you. I'm wrapping up some Christmas presents to mail off to my sister and her family in Massachusetts... I WAS, until I started watching the nest again...
Also, James tells me that he read that Polar Bears are Left-Handed (well, left-pawed I guess that would be )
MARGY, hospital sent me home with an ice bag. Last evening when my leg was so swollen, Gene had a very swollen hand (gout). So we had the frozen veggie thing going on along with the ice bag:) He has meds for gout, doc told him to start taking it...poor thing, I know it hurts:(
WANDA I don't know whatever made you think you could stand for that long. Did we not just talk about having the leg on pillows above the heart??????????? Please Please don't for any reason do that again. The swelling is NOT good for the surgical area and scar tissue. The leg needs the blood circulating for healing!!!!!
If you are having Soup Kitchen coming up soon and think you should go to it. Lady you better NOT!!! You need the leg UP ABOVE THE HEART!! EVEN ON DAYS YOU HAVE NOT MADE A BAD DECISION TO STAND ON IT FOR A LONG PERIOD. You have done so well. Don't screw this up now!!!! Yes I am giving you a little heck. I love you and that is why you are getting this. DO I HAVE TO PHONE YOU???????? I can't even believe Gene did not say something to you about standing that long. Possibly he did. I don't give a diddely (spelling) what anyone else says to you about this. YOU HAVE TO HAVE HAD THE SURGERY KNEE REPLACEMENT TO KNOW!!!! Oh Wanda take a pain pill......CRAP....NO OH WANDA DON'T STAND FOR THAT LONG. YOU STILL NEED TO LIE DOWN SOME WITH THE LEG ABOVE THE HEART!!!!!!
Head-on collision with school bus right across the county line on that dangerous road I talked about last night.......praying that no children are hurt.
LOLLY, I'll be happy when I can tell you "I've taken my walk" ! Right now I just can't do it. Could hardly walk this morning and am calling a halt to the PT exercises until I have the MRI tomorrow and the doc's assessment on the 16th. I'm continueing with the ice and taking Tylenol. This is no fun !
Thanks Paula and I think you have the good link for it...
Man oh Man I'd like to see Shep! Remember seeing on some nests how the Eagles jump up and down on the nest and splay their wings out, when an unwanted stranger was around... think I saw that at Maine a few times... DO NOT want to see it here !!!
MARGY, my hope is that Shep is working at chasing off whatever Belle sees as a threat ! Wish we could see a much wider view of the nest, but it's a useless wish.....
Well the pants the dog tore are as good as new!!! I thank the Scottish Nuns who taught me how to darn. I can not see it at all and so it is all good. I have a sweater to darn so I will go do so...Lurking and watching Belle while I am darning...

lovely day for Roosting
and fishing too I hope
Where'd everyone go???
Ahhh, there you are!
Good afternoon everyone. I read that our teen father has done his duty. So happpy to hear that. i was genuinely worried.
Did anyone n otice the time on the live cam? It sometimes moves 2 seconds at a time and then backwards a few. Weird!
Sitting here with my first cup of coffee for the day and haven't eaten yet. Must quell this noisy tummy. bbl
MARGY, if I remember correctly, SANDI had posted a picture in an album she created...She is new at posting pictures so she was not sure where it all should go. DANAWV and others spoke of the regular album and all photos are now in the regular album.
Lynn, not too bad of a price for your garage door motor and to be sure you do need it.
The Dr copay with each visit sucks. It
really does... I would think for x amount of days required there could be a flat fee much less then a daily fee.
But what do I know! Only that it sure
hurts your pocketbook.
Pa NANA time is ok on my screen. several have complained last night of cam freezing and having to start over again. It seems alright here now.
Maybe my dress for the wedding
WOW SHARON!!! Very Elegant indeed...I like the flow of the lighter material of the skirt and the top with its matching jacket...make sure you do not compete with the bride!!! LOL I know you love her to bits...it would make for a lovely mother of the groom dress...Blessings
Very nice, Sharon...have you tried it on yet?
Stunning, Sharon !!!
Thanks Hoda...I sure enjoyed cruising through the four pages of E-M albums, realizing how many neat albums we have on there...
so FEBRUARY only it is...

Just talked to Joe's wife, Donna. He might get out of ICU tomorrow. He looks really good and feeling better all the time.
Wow Sharon - beautiful dress for you
Hope it is comfy and moveable.
You can glitter over everything!
You will look beautiful! ♥
checking in from work....
HODA, how's the dog bite today? Hope it's healing nicely!
WANDA, hope you take it easy today - you don't need backsliding when you've been doing so well!
OK, back to work for me! Later.
good to know Shep relieved Belle earlier!
Just repeating because I think it so neat
This appears to be Egg #20..got that info thanks to Paula's report on the E-M page...

I have that dress listed on the wish list at David's Bridal. I just hate paying $188 for a dress I will wear once but I will only be the mother of the groom once! :)
And yes, I tried it on yesterday and loved it. It is comfortable too.
Margy, Sandi deleted the Egg album, and out her pic in the Feb. album.
I am home now and trying to get warm. It is sunny and 49, but I am chilled through and through.
Oh, Shar---LOVE that dress!!!! Can't wait to see pics of YOU in it!! It's perfect! GO FOR IT!
Sharon, the dress is loverly. I really like it! Weddings are so much fun. When we went to a wedding Jan 7 I wore my mother of the groom dress. It is short. I was thrilled to wear it as 3 years ago when I wanted to wear it, it was too tight. Woo Woo!

Shar--you can always sell it afterwards!!!
Hoda, GOLD is a fine name!!! Even better if he has some!
Sandi, so did the other teachers want a look at the cam??
Hoda, neat to order the flowers. Ahhh, you are the matriarch of the family!
I was a bad girl.....ever since phone company switch, I have trouble remembering that the bill is due a week earlier than it was with Verizon. AARGH! I missed it! Late lunch done. THink I'll go to the sofa for awhile. I'm like Lolly today---can't seem to get warm!
Hi everyone! Is this where I admit I haven't been on the blog in quite a while? I couldn't get past "200!"
...and your son in law is GOLD himself...what a beautiful action he took on your behalf...It is an easy slip to make LYNN.
and here I am -

So far he has taken his responsibilities very well.
Lynn with me only being 62 I am on Ed's SS since he pasted. So it should not affect me right?
Well not the amout of course that he received. He received much much more in SS. I only get a percentage of his SS.

Eagle back in nest. about 3-4 mins.
I need to see who it is.....
It's Belle
Fixing the flugg around egg
Waddle waddle down on the egg
Tucking in the flugg around her sides
OK I AM COMING UP TO THROW A FISH IN THE NEST LOL I CAN'T BELEIVE IT SHE HASN'T ATE SINCE YESTERDAY
Judy - No food brought in is ok!
Belle needs to stretch her legs and fly out and get her own food.
Not until Eaglets need to be fed will
we see food in the nest.
I DO SEE WHERE SHE WAS OUT OF THE NEST EARLER LETS HOPE SHE ATE SOMETHING CAUSE HE ISN'T A GOOD PROVIDER SO FAR
She must have had an opportunity to eat today when Shep was sitting on the egg.
SHE LOOKS REALLY CONFORTABLE SURRONED BY ALL THE FLUGG
After a full clutch is laid (1k,2,or 3 eggs) will full time incubation begin.
Egg rolls will be regular... but
incubation with the last egg will mean
that hatching days are not so far apart.
Taking my break!
I think everything is going to be great for this season - at least so far! ♥

NOW I AM OFF BEFORE I WILL GO POOF AND BACK TO WORK THEY APPROVED MY VACA FOR THE 17TH WEEK OF THIS MONTHS
Hi, Everyone!

Well, need to run. Will BBIALW.
I mean't to tell you about the dress you gave the link for. It is very pretty and I think the Grooms Mother should buy it. You would look beautiful in that dress.
Where is SHEP? I think she needs a break...I love her feathers in the wind...
hello can I come over the split?
Yes DanaMo if your legs will stretch that far lol lol
Ok, so I'm confused. I've been watching the next for the last month (at least) and every time I see Belle, Shep is right there. Why has he pulled the disappearing act now? You can see she's looking for him. After last year, I guess I'm paranoid.

I'm not worried because I know she knows exactly what she's doing, but I'm surprised the egg can stay out in the cold air that long.
This is definitely the ULTIMATE reality show. Won't watch any other! I feel the same way Kay. Mother Nature knows best. We shouldn't worry about whether these eagles are doing the right thing or not. They know EXACTLY what they're doing.
SHARON, I agree with all the raves you're getting on that dress ! It's lovely !
HODA, pleased to hear the bite is looking okay and not causing you concern.
LYNN, I share your angst over the medical insurance aggravations ! The whole system needs an overhaul !
MARIA, I'm so happy to see you back with us for this important part of our "life with the birds" !
That sun is really warm when you are just soaking it up. The wind probably cools it down, but for the most part I think the sun is pretty warm today.
I'm actually home sick today so I'm able to watch. This year I have a kindergarten run along with my other runs so I won't be able to watch live as often as I'd like to. It's definitely great to be back here again though! Oops I hear Belle yelling! LOL
Politely "would you get in here Shep!!!" She saw someone flying, from the movement of her neck, and then she vocalized...back to waiting...
Belle just called, not loudly, but talking probably to Shep.
Good point WV sUSAn ! This behavior indicates she know there will be another egg or two and they need to hatch within just a few days when the time comes. Thanks !
Belle just called out I believe for Shep to come in and relieve her<. See how long it takes for him to get there if this is what Belle wants?
I hearfd from Geese
Belle is still off the egg.
Dana, yes she and Lib had a long, sweet history with a time-tested bond.
Sharon, GET THE DRESS! It's gorgeous AND comfortable. Do it!!
Yes, the sun is warm out there today!
Wow, SUSAN, Pookie is remarkable ! Another example of how special and adaptable our animal friends are !
Kay, even just hours from such trauma, she was purring, rolling and streatching on her back and very mobile. I am amazed, too. Bless sweet little Pookie <3
Hi Irene ! Happy to see you found the way in the back door. How are things in Montana today ?
That would be stretching. hehe
Susan, great news about Pookie!
...xo
Paula, I had no idea what to expect and she has been stellar in every way. She would spit out her pain meds but she didn't seem to be in pain anyway.
I know you are amazed about Pookie. We were with our dog. It is wonderful how they adapt better than people would.
Hi Irene (:
Yay for Pookie, Susan...
sure a big part of her healing has to do with "the company she keeps ☺ ♥ "
wow, air-blew out the keyboard, feels like a brand new one now ☺
Feeding of three adorable eaglets now in progess at Sequoyah !
sUSAn, so glad to hear that Pookie is making a quick recovery and adjustment.
Irene....we've been having this problem with the 200 thing on the blog for a couple of weeks....it's a real PIA!
And it's apparently a Google problem! So fat chance of it getting fixed!
Hi, Kay - Montana is doing fine - I have to say though that moving from sea level to the mountains (just 5000 ft and not high altitude) is hard on the body! I had to get a humidifier - which would have been absurd in Boston.
♥ and ☺
Therapy is done for today...added two more exercises: stand on my tip toes, up and down, 30 times. Shallow knee bends, 30 times.
Peace of cake:) Mel fussed at me for being on my feet so long to cause excess swelling...has me lying down with ice pack rest of the day:(
ARGH!! I was tossed back to the first 200
IRENE, hope that humidifier makes you much more comfortable. Spent much of my life in the West where the air is often cleaner and dryer. Adding some moisture is wise !
There are about three fish currently in the Sequoyah pantry. That pop is one heck of a provider--he's way out ahead of his triplet's needs !
SHARON...I can't find your dress, is it on your blog?
I can;t get the Sutton nests to open right now. They may have a lot of folks watching.
Belle is calling loud now.
Alarm calls from Belle...she moves closer to the egg
Finally, she is over the egg and contiues to call as though there may be an intruder.
B is beside the egg now and has stopped calling out.
Wanda, I'm sure Mel knows best! Listen to her.
Couple of more calls from Belle
Lynn Ed was already on SS he took it at 62 he passed Nov. 25, 2009 his birthday was Sept. 31, 2009 he was 68 yrs old when passed.
Belle still alarm calling.
Man, my typing is pathetic today,
WANDA, good for Mel ! Take it slow and easy !
She is looking up and calling...not happy!
Not only calling loud she moved closer to her cup...I do not think she is happy...someone is up in the tree, she keeps looking up and this is when another wide angled camaera would be really helpful...
:)
Belle is being quite vocal!
Kay, NBG - 4 females?!?!?! Now, that's a HAREM for sure ☺
Bathroom is cleaned...some mending and laundry next...I will also make a vegetable and meat cubes.LYNN said to eat red meat for iron, so every once in a while I will do so...maybe once a month...every little bit helps.....
Hedgie, yes I drive a school bus when I'm not drawing and yes, I do have nerves of steel except when I'm sick! lol
So wonderful about Pookie! Animals are the best teachers on how to deal with what life throws at us, aren't they?
LYNN, that is wonderful news about your knee !
At 12:49 Sharon gave us a link to the dress.
Thank goodness, Belle looks like she is getting back on the egg.
Hi,
Observed Belle's calls a bit ago.
All's quiet and she's digging in the bowl. REALLY pulling up the flugg
KAY, these situations with NBG nest and ours is interesting. Nature provides us with many interesting moments:)
Yes, I know Mel knows best...she is a super person and I will and am listening to her:)
Don't think that the fact that Ed was already drawing would affect your being able to draw, Dana, unless you took it early, which I see can start at 60.
Wow, Kay.....4 females....what a Lothario he is!
LOL, PAULA. My guess is, the first one who produces an egg is IT and the others get the boot. Hope it's all done peacefully !
If she keeps digging in the flugg pretty soon we won't be able to see the egg!!!LOL!!! what a mouthful she came up with...
Flugg work at the egg cup. AND she's wiggling back down on the egg. YAAAY
Belle Incubating now.
Looks like she is relaxed now...
had to move that fluff around to make a comfortable spot for herself AND the egg
don't know if I personally have ever heard that much calling..
beautiful sound....
crows aplenty now !
Hoda, sometimes we will not be able to see the egg(s). They can make that egg cup mighty deep...
Lynn when Ed passed I was 60. I went to SS Office and they said I would get a percentage of what he was drawing a month on SS. So it started then.
Still not sound on this computer, no sound from the nest cam, that is. I did see Belle calling out. She is ready for another break.
Good for Mel! Glad she fussed at you! Now, Wanda, be a good girl from now on!
I got tears in my eyes when I read about Pookie purring and jumping on furniture. That is awesome!
Lynn, glad your knee is healing.
Wanda,
Good tippy-toe report and GOOD ADVICE from Mel...
sometimes it's hard to keep the ice where it needs to be....
bags of frozen peas or corn work nicely, and a bandana to keep them in place.....
personal experience taught me that
xo (( Hugs♥ )) to you and Captain
Lolly, we all did. What a girl.
Lolly
could it have something to do with the Adobe Flash Player...
some of us had the problem earlier in the season....
Hope You Get Sound !!
KAY, we just did our walking. Watched Belle the whole time. Lynn, the walking finally warmed me up. LOL
Okay, I know I haven't been on for a while - but why is Shep being called Ben on the other blog?!
Every time I type a post I see Margy's comment about "splitted." Makes me smile. MARGY, maybe it should be splatted!
here's a laugh for you.
I'm wrapping up some Christmas presents to mail off to my sister and her family in Massachusetts...
I WAS, until I started watching the nest again...
Also, James tells me that he read that Polar Bears are Left-Handed
(well, left-pawed I guess that would be )
ttfn xo
Vickie, that was their decision. So, be it! We just do not pay much attention to it. We took a vote here as you know.
Belle alarm calling.
Oh, I see (not hear) that Belle is fussing again.
Something is very close.
Two computers going with eagles calling and the dogs are not paying any attention. She is not happy!!
MARGY, hospital sent me home with an ice bag. Last evening when my leg was so swollen, Gene had a very swollen hand (gout). So we had the frozen veggie thing going on along with the ice bag:)
He has meds for gout, doc told him to start taking it...poor thing, I know it hurts:(
More up and calling out...amazing how protective she becomes when there is an egg or eaglets!
Bell Screeching.........not looking too happy
Something is flying around and really bothering her.
Aw Wanda, he could put his hand on your ice bag on your knee ♥
he kind of looked all puffed up, too! You're right about her being protective, Paula. She looks to be settling down a little now....
My oh My she is not a happy camper at all...she even seemed to me to puff up when she was vocalizing just now...
Belle is quiet now but standing at the egg in alert position.
Head-on collision with school bus right across the county line on that dangerous road I talked about last night.......praying that no children are hurt.
Lost the first letter of my last comment..........It was an S, meaning "She"
Oops....
Margy, I was just going to suggest to Lolly that she updates her flash player,,,
Belle is still standing but more relaxed, a little preening and neck is not so long.
Gee, wonder why Iris isn't staying with Barbara? I thought that is what she did when she came here....
Wanda
the family that shares ice packs together, Stays together ♥♥
Lynn keep us posted on that bus wreck, know it does not affect James...but still...
too scary...
MARGY, my hope is that Shep is working at chasing off whatever Belle sees as a threat ! Wish we could see a much wider view of the nest, but it's a useless wish.....
Lori and Shirley...
I just refreshed the CAM instead of the BLOG
misery loves company xo
trfn xo
while I wrap, package and Watch
Uh oh, long neck and looking back over her shoulder.
understood, Kay, that's comforting...
also hoping that the NCTC folks are keeping an EYE out
Belle calling again.
We're roaring towards
ANOTHER SPLIT-SPLAT SOON
She reminded me of a vulture there once or twice the way she was leaning over with neck stretched out
♫♫ Split, Splat I was takin' a bath ♪♪♫ Oh, sorry, wrong song...
Belle is quiet and looking more relaxed. Still off the egg. Yes, I'm thinking Shep was chasing off the threat.
Lynn did you see my last comment about me being 60 when Ed past and he was getting his SS?
Belle is calling again, not so loud.
Now quiet and still standing.
Well the pants the dog tore are as good as new!!! I thank the Scottish Nuns who taught me how to darn. I can not see it at all and so it is all good. I have a sweater to darn so I will go do so...Lurking and watching Belle while I am darning...
She is standing VERY STILL and just turning her head around looking different places. Sometimes she will stop and just eye one place.
home from school
Hoda be careful it would be a darn shame if while you were darning you darned the darn sweater to your darn finger. Lots of darns!!
I think this will split or after this one we will split.
DanaMo welcome back to the blog. (:
Kay, I am so sorry you are feeling so bad. (((hugs))) I am feeling stiff and sore but the walking did warm me up and help.
I have updated Adobe, did no good. I may try again.
