To answer the comment "Do we have and eagle expert at NCTC?"
NCTC has several bald eagle experts, as does the Fish and Wildlife Service Region, which NCTC is in.
The Service has a long legacy with this bird, including the Mason Neck National Wildlife Refuge, south of DC, which was the first National Wildlife Refuge established for an endangered species--the American Bald Eagle. Also the Bald Eagle Repository in Denver, that helps prevent any trade in bald eagle feathers.

I'm sitting here looking at my kitchen cabinets wondering if I can stain them a darker color. I might take one off and try it today. My husband will LOVE that! Cause he knows it's a job I will start and he will have to finish.

Dana, I've figured out the best way to type the reports and make them bold caps is to type the first bold symbol then leave a few empty space and then type the closing 4 symbols for bolding. Then copy it. When you go to write the nest happenings, paste the bold symbols in the post box and type the report between the symbols. Then just tighten up by taking the space(s) out and send...or publish.
eagles have not returned yet
Guess I should have added to caps bold info make sure your caps lock is on. It's much easier.

Dana, I have been looking at my kitchen cupboards with total disdain for 8 yrs now! I don't think a day goes by that I don't wonder what I can do inexpensively. Only mine are too dark. But not sure I want to paint over wood.

I don't know how to get bold...
I painted my cabinets in my old house and it worked out pretty well. My taste has changed and I don't want to paint them white which is what I did before. I need my contrast to my wood floors which are light colored.

okay. Though I've tried to make music symbols on FB with the code that people gave me but it wouldn't work on my computer. It was really strange, but I will try it. Didn't get the email yet.
remember to delete empty spaces between your last word and the symbol.

Well I've already vacuumed and scrubbed the tube. Lots to do, maybe if I do a little at a time and check the nest every so often it will be bearable.

The eagles have soared elsewhere...they were around for about 45minutes...saw an adult...and some 3 and 4 year olds
