Well, been watching for about an hour. Cam freezes every 14.31 and I have to refresh altogether, because the play button is no help. ANNOYING.
Just saw the egg roll, had magnifying glass at the ready. I didn't see anything that looked like a pip or crack in either egg. Of course, I could only see the "sunny side up" parts!
Sorry to see there is no chick yet. But they have been acting differently, as though they have been hearing something, so I will be VERY SURPRISED if we don't get at least one chick this year.
My cam froze too ... 14:54 ... and all I did was "backspace" one level and then "forward" again... it loads exactly like the original entry.

SUSAN, perhaps NCTC doesn't want any visitors near the Sycamore Tree Palace while the King & Queen are in a very delicate condition, right now. If we could get you to the Guard House, that would be perfect viewing. You can see the tree and nest with your naked eye and, of course, binocs will bring it right up to you. Better than nothing. I'm not sure if it can be seen from the road or not...Capt. just said "NO".
I am home today preparing for my bridge club here tonight. I felt guilty missing two days from work, but I really need it, although planning for a sub requires almost as much work as being there. I really need to be home today. I will be checking in when I can.
I've lost track of the number of Momsters and Dadsters coming the Nestville, Friday. Might need to call Jennifer for reservations. Lynn would know, but don't want to wake her...ssshhhh! Do you know, Susan?
Hi, Shirley. You know what...we, non-teachers had no idea how much teachers have to go through and do until you and Judie came aboard. My thoughts were that a sub just came in and told the students to turn to chapter such and such and read until the bell rings. That is pretty much what they did when I was in High School. Things have changed since then, or you are just a very good teacher...probably both!
She just got up a little ways and then wiggled back down. She is certainly jiggier about somethng. Hoping it is a hatching going on underneath her. Fingers crossed xxx

A teacher should never accept that. The truth is that the kids like that book and will read if you insist.
Sub used the worksheets I left, including the "just in case" one. Some subs just want to hand out a pile of worksheets and sit down. That is not always what is needed.
I was just a tad disappointed in the sub to say the least. Fortunately, I do have a different sub today.
Subs get to evaluate us, but we do not get a form to evaluate subs. (But I can go speak to the person in charge of subs if I want to.) I wonder if the sub said that I did not leave adequate plans.
I have seven ladies coming to my house tonight to play bridge in person. We eat, drink wine, and play bridge. We meet at different homes every month. Third Wednesday of the month.
She is out now. She has a moderate sized hiatal hernia that is going to have to be repaired. Not sure when that will take place except I know it will not be today.

Lynn, It stopped for me after about 14 min., there is a button on the bottom left that says pause when you put your curser over it, hit it once and then it says play. Below that is the notice about "due to high volume". Anyway, hitting the button gets it going again but it kept stoppping every few minutes so I had to completely refresh. Very frustrating.

Yes 1st egg at NCTC (I got to keep my papers straight) laid Feb 5th...2nd egg laid Feb 8th. Today for first egg you count the day it was laid. If not at night time. So from the 5th to today is 40th day. That is what Lisa at Blackwater taught me. Thank Hedgie-Lynn

Margie, I'm leaving eagle post on last thread--it's too depressing. In a nutshell, injured eagle found near Park. Was taken to rehab Monday w/bad wing.We don't know if it's the male from our nesting pair yet. Someone will have to see if 2 birds are ever together at nest. Both times I saw nest TU, Mom was chirping---not usual.

Good morning! Have been on for about 30 minutes. Started where I left off last night and reading throught the blog. Have had to refresh once and getting close to another refresh. Whoops! Made it by 14:30 where it stoped last time. Uh oh...stopped at 14:49! Hit the play button and it has started back up.
Saw the last egg roll. I thought I might have seen a pip on the egg on the right.

Lib just got up and stood on the side for a minute, I don't think it was a switch.
Lynn, It stopped for me after about 14 min., there is a button on the bottom left that says pause when you put your curser over it, hit it once and then it says play. Below that is the notice about "due to high volume". Anyway, hitting the button gets it going again but it kept stoppping every few minutes so I had to completely refresh. Very frustrating.
