Well, my big day is here! We are heading out of here at around noon to catch that TRAIN! Will check back in with details as soon as I can. For those of you on Facebook, I will be sending pics from my phone as I can!
Well, I think it has stopped now, but there could be more the next couple days. Our first freeze is predicted in the next couple days. We will see. Funny to see snow while my impatiens are still looking great! Moved all plants to the greenhouse and the garage yesterday. Have two more to move into the house, but need to go buy two huge saucers before I do.
Will do my best to keep it from you. Times like this...I think of Deb. Use to accuse her of leaving the freezer door open.

Yes, Lynn, it is still so hard to believe. Not sure why it has affected us all so. Guess it was that we "talked" with her every day. She was a very important part of our daily lives and it was so sudden, without a clue to any of us.

Sad eagle story, Paula, but really, as light as she is, it's a wonder she was able to win a challenge and get as far as she did in the cycle.

Lynn, know what you mean about the knees--mine are creaky, too. Do you have one of those foam "kneeler pads" for gardening? It helps a little. Been threatening to get some knee pads like they use for sports. Not sure whether they'd help, though. Well, better get to the homework so I can do Christmas decorations too! Glad I was able to get on today and hope this finds you all doing fine after the Thanksgiving holidays. My family all went to Myrtle Beach the day after, and we all had such a good time. Well Ms Bookworm WE are back from our stroll. Dex has a wonderful fur coat so he will want to stroll all winter. I had scarf, gloves and earmuffs along with my winter jscket. I am thickening up my blood for colder times LOL.
Deb remains on many a heart and always will for NCTC folks I am sure. Dana however rests very heavy on my heart today. I so wish Nilla had felt up to going and am hoping Dana has found eagles somewhere to enjoy for a bit. They just lift the soul. They certainly do mine.

I had to buy an Xmas present for me. I NEVER shop on black Fri., but had to go to drug store & a couple other places. Was 3PM & parking places were opening up, so I went into Mall where they have jewelry stands. Was just checking prices, as loop on my gold rope chain broke off. AND they had an Eagle charm~~~~all stuff 50% off---an offer I couldn't refuse!Put it on another cheapo gold necklace & wore it today.
Hi! I have been sleeping. Went to bed early and woke up. Came down for a glass of milk, some George pats, and to check on the blog.

Finally made an eye appointment. I had made one in October, but they canceled it when I did not have my insurance card. Now I am having headaches, so I had to schedule again. Just a year overdue.
I haven't had time to read everything. I need to crawl back into my warm bed.

LORETTA...I honestly don't think the cheddar cheese will be a very good substitute for the PARMESAN (not mozzerella). The Bacon Pasta is too delicate a flavor to put cheddar cheese in. But, on the other hand, it would be a different flavor and may be a new DISH...BACON-CHEDDAR PASTA:)

GG's appointment: Dr. Chiccino wants her to try a few things for 2 weeks to see if the nausea and vomiting gets better. He also need Dr. Bowers to tell him that she is TUNED-UP and able to withstand the surgery. She passed her stress test with flying colors about 6 months ago and as far as I know, she has nothing wrong that would keep her from being a good candidate for surgery. Only problem is that Dr. couldn't guarantee that laprascopic would be the route to take...said that about 10% of patients have to have the wide open proceedure. Don't think she could stand that at her age??? He said he wouldn't know if the laprascope proceedure would work until he got inside her body:(

Good Morning Wanda yes you did that eagle wanted you to see it. Thank you so much I pee at picture but every time I cry I'll be able to pee more and more then get it fully out of bag. That is so WONDERFUL OF YOU. My heart is full of love for my Ed. God and Ed are helping me. Plus all my eagle friends. In all different ways.

My surgery is suppose to be tomorrow but there seems to be a problem and I am just waiting to talk to the DR. I spoke to the surgical nurse 2 days ago to discuss the heart monitor I am wearing. (LONG boring story) I told her the Cardiologist's name, phone number, my diagnosis (was wearing for heart palpitaions...Sharon probably had those ALL NIGHT!!! LOL!) and they caught enough already to diagnose Atrial Fibrillation, and I told her that, and the name and dose of the meds I am now taking, and told her to please contact the Cardio Dr to confirm my clearance for surgery.
WELL, yesterday afternoon I came to a message from her that we have to postpone pending a diagnosis from the Dr. HELLO!! I gave her all the info....she just never bothered to call!!! My confidence is shaken! I am mad as hell! She had everything she needed to make the call for 2 days and didn't so now we've come down to the wire. GGRRRRRRR!
