Dr. at radiology center said no mammo needed as one was done 2 months ago so I just had the ultrasound...nothing there but 2 large cysts, as I expected!

This Thurs is gs gallbladder surgery. It should go very well - it better because it is one day surgery or better known as Out Patient. He is scheduled for 3 pm - Wonder what time he'll be headed home!

Jo isn't it amazing how fast they get you in and out now! I will pray all goes well for his surgery. If he's like the others I know who have had their GB removed, it won't be long before he's feeling great! Will they be doing it laparoscopically?

I'm dragging in late this morning--was up really early, then fell asleep in front of the TV. Can't seem to get it in gear today--it must be Monday. It's cold here, but supposed to warm up to 63. It was about 42 when I got up earlier. Makes it hard to get motivated.
Happy to see the still cam is working! Sorry, though, that I managed to miss the eagle visits.

I realized today that Deb's name isn't coming up anymore on Facebook in my lists and I checked...her Facebook page is gone now. :(
I received a reply from Steve earlier ref the FWS sites: ( I had listed the up and down and up times over the week-end.)
He stated that maintenance on that site is done in one of the Mountain states, and they know when the sites are down, and were probably doing maintenance on the networks (as Paula suggested) and it is completely out of NCTC's hands....
Personally I hope all the maintenance is done for awhile, but if it results in a better product, well, so be it ☺

Just picked up my poor doggie....she has a very bloodshot eye (lesion removed from lid), a row of stitches onher back from a cyst removal, and burns on her chest from cautery removal of skin tags! But she doesn't act like she hates me!
Did you hear.....about the falcon or hawk who got his foot stuck in an escalator at a Metro station today? Freed my workmen and flew off okay; and about the buck in Colorado running around with Christmas tree lights stuck onh is antlers? They've been trying to catch him for a couple of weeks w/o success...not too concerning, they say, as long as the lights don't wrap around his neck or mouth........

Evening all. Busy day. Soup and sandwich but it is really roast chicken platter. Such nice people.

Lynn hope Cinnamon feels better. MM cat is old and they don't want to put her under anesthesia even to clean teeth.
Don't think I told you but the falcon got a pigeon and dropped all the feathers in our yard.
Lynn my hands are sore also from all the cleaning materials and then was getting out of the car and turned my ankle.
Lynn how are you feeling after your ladder incident last week?
I guess one less pigeon in Baltimore wouldn't be missed but the hawk could
be not so messy next time - like someone else's yard.

Jo my son and Jennifer will be coming in next Tuesday and will leave the following Tuesday. We just step out the door to watch the fireworks. Used to have champagne and Jim would light firecrackers. One year I thought he had to much to drink he was dancing in the street. The firecracker had burned him.

Good evening! Well, I finally finished my shopping today. Tomorrow going to clean house and do some baking. It will be a good day to stay inside. Temp is dropping tonight, but today it got up to 72 and I actually had to turn the AC on in the van.
Jack is doing pretty good. He does not go to the doctor until next Monday, so today he accepted his situation and said he was going to try to get some things done. Sooooo glad he is not just sitting around.
Going to go cook dinner.
OK, home and dogs are fed. Gonna go put up the tree and lights on it. Stopped at CVS and got a couple more strings. Walmart was all out! If I'm lucky, I'll get to put on some ornaments, too!
Found my newest ornament on the kitchen counter when I was cleaning up yesterday, bought it at Colorfest 2 months ago. It's a glass Rudolph!

Don't know what tree to put up. Last year got a small fiber optic one. Loved it, but cats tipped it over. Don;t really need to do the big artificial. Couple years ago made a "Felice Navidad" palm tree out of it & ran lights all up the trunk!Have to look for pic.

Got up for a little while. Was craving pineapple and happen to have some in the refrigerator. Maybe my body needed it. It tasted wonderful.
Kind of got a scolding from the central office for missing those two days before Thanksgiving. A doctor's note was requested immediately. I have it ready to send. I guess they have to be particular about that, but my principal had said it would be okay.
The old body is not entirely cooperating even now with the procedure and the medication. I think it just takes time. Looking forward to the 2-week break coming up. That is when I do most of my gifts, etc.
Found a package from my Colorado brother on the sofa when I came down. I guess Will found it on the porch this evening.
Sorry to read that Judie is having so much pain. I do hope tomorrow is better. Please, Judie, do not push yourself too hard. Take care.

Dana, good to see you this morning as well as everyone else. Lurking around this morning. Tom is home sick with the flu. My sciatica is wanting to rear its ugly head but I am rebuking that junk!! Going to go to the doc today and get me some steroids to kick it with!!
