Hey, I have a really good receipe
for you all*********************
Jack Daniels Cookies
1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup brown sugar
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups dried fruit
1 1-litre bottle Jack Daniels
Sample the Jack Daniels to check quality.
Take a out large bowl.
Check the Jack Daniels again, to be sure it is of the highest quality.
Pour one level cup and drink.
Turn on the electric mixer.
Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.
Add one peastoon of sugar.
Beat again.
At this point it's best to make sure the JaJack Daniels is still ok - try another cup just in case.
Turn off the mixerer thingy.
Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl.
Chuck in the cup of dried fruit.
Pick the frigging fruit off the floor.
Mix on the turner.
If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaters just pry it loose with a drewscriver.
Sample the Jackie Danilz to check for tonsisticity.
Next, sift two cups of salt, or something.
Check the John D. again - take a good slug.
Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.
Add one table.
Add a spoon of sugar, or somefing - whatever you can find.
Greash the oven.
Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over.
Don't forget to beat off the turner.
Finally, throw the bowl through the window, finish Danny Jack and make sure to put the stove in the wishdasher.

(Blaine, my nephew is hunting) It seems that Blaine's house has been broken into. He has TV's,computers, and who know what stolen. Larry said the house has been ransacked.

Blaine is a great young man. He is the third son of my brother. He and Jana both graduated from Texas A&M and then went to Chiropractic School in NY. They started up their practice about three years ago. They are fantastic young people and I hate that they have had this happen.

Dustin's Dad walked in on a robbery at his home Monday...they ran out the back door and dropped what they were going to steal. Mostly guns, but they had his money on them. Girl was caught, her boyfriend got away. Don't know if the money was recovered or not.
Do not know how Larry found out about the burglary.

Having your home broken into is a very disturbing thing. We were burglarized about 4 years ago and although they didn't get anything really valuable, they did take all the grandchildren's piggy banks and the pouch that I keep Shop change in. Police weren't much help:(
Our car was broken into once. They took my husband's CD radio. I did not even like the dang thing, but I felt violated anyway.

No, not much cops can do----fingerprints, etc. are useless if they aren't on record! Neighbor had both vehicles broken into 2 yrs. ago and they took her work computer, bookkeeping records, change....footprints in snow---but they went into a field and then to the road.

Thanks, Lynn. They are a great young couple with a great future. He is my "Turkey". When he was a baby and I was trying to get to know him (we live 500 miles apart) I could get him to go under the table to play with me. I would call him a Turkey and he would say "No, yous a tukey". He would also give me a kiss....under the table. Now he is a professional and I am very proud of him.

Ceil, those fireworks were really good! I think we actually heard them HERE... We watched on TV and the whole time (we had the window open in our room) we could here far off BOOMING that was about 3 or 4 seconds behind the TV sound...REALLY noticed at the finale!
I was just looking at the DC zoo They have a slide show of how the keepers made snowman and ice snowflakes for the animals with vegetables and stuff in it.
Jo when we were there your otters were taking ice and putting it in the water. Guess their water was too warm. They were so cute.
Lynne the finale lite up the whole area as if it was daylight.
I have a few phone calls to make to wish friends a Happy New Year. Our son and Jennifer called while we were out watching the fireworks and I could not hear them with the noise but we just said Happy New Year.

Here's a great bit of info from an article in The Herald Mail (Hagerstown) about its' 2009 Person of the Year:
HAGERSTOWN — Dr. Dan McDougal had a strategy for dealing with insurance companies that put doctors through a game of “Mother May I” to get procedures approved.
When a company said it wouldn’t pay for a CT scan or an MRI unless its staff authorized it first, McDougal, medical director for Antietam Health Services, would call the insurance company’s medical director, who usually was in another state, and ask for the spelling of his name and his Maryland medical license number. When the medical director said he didn’t have a Maryland license, McDougal threatened to call the state board of licensure and stressed the serious consequences of practicing medicine without a license.
“There’d be this long pause, and then they would all say the same thing: ‘What do you want?’” he said.
ALL doctors should follow his lead!!!
