Glad to hear she is out of surgery, Margie, and that it went well.

Good news, Margy. Hope you get to talk to your sister later.
I lived in New England for years, the accent is interesting to say the least. Paak the caar

hedgie said...

Great news, Margy. Hope you'll be able to talk to Dorset herself later this evening.
Ceil, how long has MM's husband been gone? Yep, those Mass accents can be a hoot!
Andy, hope the car is running right now.
I agree with Jo---clean carpet AFTER visit!!
Haven't been to get sugar yet. Donald didn't get here til 2:30 and must leave at 4:30, so not too much getting done today, but said he'll be back late afternoons next week. Chimney cleaned but it really wasn't bad at all---but better safe than sorry. Dead trees down, so don't need to worry about them falling.

GOOD AFTERNOON, MOMSTERS & DADSTERS...
It is now one week before our Open House gathering.
Everything has come together very nicely, after a few hitches here and there.
I went to the Clarion Inn this morning and reserved our Party Room. It is ours to do with as we please (within reason). It is a pretty room with beautiful chandeliers. We may want to wear gowns and tux...(Kidding)
There is plenty of room to display our Raffle Prizes which are all exceptional. We have a carved wooden eagle, donated by Jo...A year's subscription to Birds and Bloom Magazine, donated by Margy...An Eagle throw, donated by Suz...A coin with an eagle on it and a T-Shirt, donated by Helen (Mits),...A wooden Nativity music box, made by Jack Ellis and donated by Lolly...A stepping stone with an eagle impressed in it, donated by Paula...A framed eagle picture and eagle checkbook cover, donated by Lynn-Hedgie...A calendar filled with photos of all our favorite things from this past year, donated by Wanda...Iris has made a donation or two, but has not revealed what they are yet. She said it is something really LARGE. You will have to come to dinner to find out what it is. Ceil and others have donated some Door Prizes, also. It is going to be a really fun day, and an even better evening. It's not too late to join us...you won't have this chance again for another YEAR!
Please call anyone of us on the entertainment committee if you are not signed up, but wish to attend. Monday will be the latest day to change your mind. We will meet in Suite C for dinner, beginning at 4:30pm.
Hope to see you there!

Wanda
wewdew@verizon.net
(I have posted photos of our party room on my JUST FOR FUN BLOG
Friday evening dinner (16th) is in the Rumsey Tavern at 7pm.

Wish Sissy would let us know how she's doing.......maybe she'll check in now that the game is over.

Steamed shrimp sounds wonderful, Ceil. Mine are some frozen, packaged breaded ones. But I am enjoying them.

Will is somewhere in Maryland with a friend today. The friend is doing some kind of performance--martial arts, I think.

hedgie said...

Heading out to get the sugar for our pizzelles!!! BBIAF.

Judie said...

Know I've missed a bunch of comments.

Happy Dorset's surgery went well. Now for a speedy recovery.

Margie, thanks for the update on Ed and Dana. I just think something isn't quite right. Maybe some feelings of being "down" with all the medical issues?

Have 75 of 100 responses commented on and grades recorded. Had to stop. Brain is over-tired. Will finish the last ones tomorrow.

I see it's time, again, for my expedition to the frig. Hope I find something good -- sad but don't have shrimp.

stronghunter said...

Judie, you are reading essay answers from all of those students? That is quite a task. I brought home a few things to grade and need to write a quiz and think about what I will have the sub do on Tuesday.

Biggest thing I need to do is finish up most of the assignments on the list for the classes I am taking. I have always tried to stay on top of those.

stronghunter said...

The assignments for one class run Friday-Thursday, so you have the weekend to work on them. I think the other one will be similar. They are posted on Blacboard.

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Everyone,
Just zoomed in from the backyard with a question for all of you, but maybe MEGAN can answer best:
I have THRIPS (UGH) in my roses, and got some Bayer 2 in 1 Systemic Rose & Flower Care from Home Depot to zap the critters. Now that I read the label, it says its EXTREMELY TOXIC TO BIRDS! Do you know whether hummingbirds ever sip from rose flowers? I've never NOTICED mine doing that, but sure DON'T want to take any chances. Not with my little cuties! I'd feel just HORRIBLE if I caused them any harm!
MARGY, glad to hear good news about Dorset!!!! Thank GOD!!! Hope you get to talk to her later! :o]
You guys, the car once again runs like a top!!! Thank GOD for that one, too!
Hahahaha...I know Sierra's only 3, and may spill stuff, but the carpet is SOOOOOOO BAD, the only other option is to set a match to it! (Who was crazy enough to get light beige carpet? Who, ME?!!--NEVER AGAIN!!) Aha--lunch is ready. Back later with an update!
:o]

Mema Jo said...

Great news to hear about Dorset, Margy

Getting a very late 3:00 cup of coffee.

No Mass for me today - trying to stay away from crowds beginning of this week. Family crowds and Friend crowds don't count.

Ms Bookworm said...

Ooooooh, Ceil!
Steamed shrimp?! You've got me drooling all over myself! I'm SO jealous!!! Oh, well...back to yard and housework! (Look out, I'm dangerous on caffeine!)

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

In Bluefield hanging out with my peeps. Haven't seen Andrew yet but will in a little while. Hope all are having a great day!

stronghunter said...

Margy, keep us posted on Dorset.

Andrea, so happy to learn you have your car back in good condition.

Really must go take book to library. Too bad Kathryn didn't just let me hand it over to her and renew it on my own account. Think I will leave most of my other errands for tomorrow.

stronghunter said...

I have to have one day a week just to hang out.

ceil said...

Wanda thought the chandalier was lower. After a few drinks was going to swing from it. Only kidding.
Lynn MM was only married a year when her husband died. He was older than her and had a heart attack. The day of their first anniversary he was in the hospital and she was having a miscarriage. 4 days later he died. Nice man.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Sissy is doing okay. Still hurting in her knee and ankle but she is cooking us supper. I am going to a meeting and then back here to eat and then head back to Bedford. Long day!

stronghunter said...

Lynn, your mention of dead trees reminds me that I need to report one huge pine tree that is leaning over the road I take to work every day. It looks like it could fall at any time. Would take out a power line and land on the road.

I am not sure who to call, but should be able to find out.

stronghunter said...

Very sad about MM's husband, Ceil.

I want to see you swing from the chandelier! Well, maybe not. . .

stronghunter said...

Must go to library! BBL

floralgirl said...

Andrea, hummers will go to almost any flower in your garden. The stuff you bought is very toxic and just plain nasty. You can use insecticidal soap or a spray with Spinosad or neem oil to control them. The first two are the best, but Spinosad can be harmful to bees so alwyas spray in the early am, or evening. Ladybugs and lacewings are good beneficial bugs that eat them.
Planet Natural and Gardens Alive are great mail order sources for organic controls in your garden. Both have informative websites.

Costume Lady said...

Oh, how sad for MM to lose her husband and baby at the same time. That must have taken a long time to get over...probably never did, fully! Bless her heart.

floralgirl said...

Hey Ceil, don't worry, we'll pile up some tables for you so you can reach the chandelier.

floralgirl said...

Gosh, that is heartbreaking about MM:(

hedgie said...

Thanks for posting that, Wanda. When I was there for a buffet dinner, the spread was in the hallway outside of the salons. You are right---it really IS a long walk from the front entrance, so it would be best if we can gain entry through those other doors.

deb said...

That is very sad for MM to have to go through so much sadness at once.

Ms Bookworm said...

Megan, THANK YOU!!! I will use some insecticidal soap and see how that works. Will check out the websites, too. That yucky stuff is going back to Home Depot! Will mention to them that they should warn people how toxic the stuff is to wildlife, BEFORE they purchase it! Surely they have some kind of GREEN concoction they can sell instead!
Wow, mega prayers for MM! Can't even imagine what she's been through. Don't think it's likely that she'll ever quite get over it--but they say that whatever doesn't do you in, makes you stronger. Hope that's true. Faith can certainly get you through a lot, I'm sure of that.

Mema Jo said...

Thanks for the pics of our Party Room for Saturday, Wanda.
Great that you will tell us where to park for the evening.
Where will the Eagle Express be parked that morning at 10am? Same as usual -right out front!

Do we still have the Eaglet Momster sign for above out Party Room "C".
Paula may have that one.

Ms Bookworm said...

Boy, sounds like Shirley and Judie are turbo-charged today! Hope you both can find time to just relax a bit! Who ever said that teachers have it easy?! Sure wasn't me!!

Mema Jo said...

Well I love MM - I know she had 2 sisters that helped her through all her troubles! She is the most thoughtful person I have recently met!

I'm still here, Jo, but not for long--gotta make hay while the sun shines! Have some more trimming and deadheading to do in the back yard. Need to try to fix a clogged sprinkler head, too. Then gotta do some cleaning up and makeup damage control and go meet sister-in-law. Busy weekend, but sure worth it! Will BBIALW to check in. :o]

hedgie said...

Oh, Ceil--and Mits, too---so sorry to hear that MM's loss was so tragic. Had no idea that she had been alone for so long. Please give her extra hugs if you see her before we do Fri.!!!

hedgie said...

Jo, A-M posted on FB yesterday!! Home safe and sound---and I think TIRED!

Mema Jo said...

Good News! Diann just opened my greeting card so she is at her computer. I don't know which shoulder it was but at least we know she is
mobile! Thank Goodness

hedgie said...

Sounds pretty cool that Deb was able to split up her shift. Makes it a little more bearable working weekend and hours that she doesn't like.

Mema Jo said...

I knew I would find Sissy---

I am sore as heck this morning but not as bad I thought I would be. My knee is not great, but it will heal.

Mema Jo said...

It is good that Deb does live within a walkable distance to her work. Great to split up that work day. I sure wish she was able to come to Open House. :>(

hedgie said...

Yep, Jo, Diann opened mine on Thurs. Good sign!!!
Dana still hasn't opened hers.

hedgie said...

Oh, Margy-----have you figured out the converter yet???

Hi Everyone----finally got done working this week! And a crab truck was down the road, so you know what I'll be doing soon!

A belated Happy Birthday to NORMA!
Margy, prayers for your sister.

We were really busy w/a fall Kid's program today. I was assigned cutting triangles and half moons out of adhesive backed felt for pumpkin decorations. Kid's also had option of magic markers!I only did that 1/2 day & then babysat office where tons of people called to ask if it was raining---NO, or how to get there or where is a hiking trail in Laurel!!!!! They estimated close to 300 people!
Gonna go crack some crabs~~~~~

Mema Jo said...

Beautiful sunset of pink colors to my west. Hope that means tomorrow will be another beautiful weather day!
I don't mind the nip in the air!

Mema Jo said...

Hi Loretta! Enjoy your crabs!
You've had a very busy day - I take it you would rather do faces on Jack-o-lanterns then face the phone lines!

magpie said...

We had beautiful colors West AND East here also Jo... fun to be looking and seeing the same things...from different places. ☺

Loretta...sounds like a fun day...especially for the kids.
Grandson scarfed up a crab-cracking mallet at Goodwill the other day! Now we just need some crabs to go with it ☺

Good Evening Everyone... xo ♥

magpie said...

I am prepared to provide a prize for whoever discovers whenever/if we get a new thread ☺

magpie said...

Lynn -
didn't try the converter box routine yet, did not want to stray from the house, might go check out neighbor lady's a little later on, that should be all I need to do, I think, maybe.

magpie said...

I called the hospital, Cooley Dickinson in Northhampton, Mass, and the nurse at nurse's station put me through to my sister...

She was pretty groggy, but awake enough to tell me, that she kept falling asleep while trying to read the instructions for the Spirometer or whatever that little tube with the ball in it that you have to blow into. I told her to forget the machine and go back to sleep for now ! But her son confirmed that only the ruptured appendix and some of the associated fluids and things needed to be removed, NO intestine involvement, no other problems.
She has some recovery time ahead of her, not sure how big of an incision they had to make, will get those details in the morning when she is more able to talk.
Her daughter was expected for a visit, (she has the two kids, and two grandchildren) so maybe I will get a call later from her.

I am one thankful sister, Praise the Lord. xo

And I hope you all don't mind my repeating often, Thank You for all your prayers, inquiries, comfort, and encouragement.

xo ♥

On the PIX PA woods it looks like a new block of food (not sure if it's a salt lick or something else)

magpie said...

I would have tried to stay on the phone longer earlier, when I called Dana's and spoke with Ed, but I was trying to keep phone time rather short...

I do believe there is no doubt in her mind that we are with her in prayer. I wish I had asked if she knew yet about Open House or Dinners...

magpie said...

It would have been fun to watch and see that block get delivered.
I wonder what time the Feed Toss will be tonight....I can't keep the cam up continuously..does anyone else have a problem with computer freeze with that ?

magpie said...

last night Megan reported at 7:31 pm that it had just gone off.

Mema Jo said...

Margy, Dana knows about the Clarion for the dinners - She was hesitant & wouldn't be able to make a decision until last minute as to how Ed was doing. I pray her eye is doing better and that her health is holding up.
Yes, they are definitely in Momster prayers.

Mema Jo said...

Like you said - we have not turn our clocks and I really don't think other states have already done so.

Don't know why the times seems to be off. There night light is on

I bet our nest's light is on also!!!

Mema Jo said...

My grammar is becoming sloppy
I need a break .. No TV shows to waste my time on this evening.
I need to pull an Andy/Margy and pick up around here if family is streaming in tomorrow.

THERE IT GOES

magpie said...

FUNNY 7:31 again for Feeder

magpie said...

Fat little rascal has the whole place to himself and seems to be enjoying it.
Thanks Megan for your Hot Tip last night !

I can understand about Dana..not being able to say yay or nay about next week-end....I will try to call her again Sunday, let me find out when the Steelers play if they do, and work around that ! ☺

Okay TTFN, going to try to pick back up where I left off before my nap and phone calls. xoxo

hedgie said...

Jo, I said last night that I bet he reset timer because of getting dark earlier or else battery died and he forgot to reset it when he replaced the battery!
donald worked onm mine again today, but no luck---definitely a bad timer: as in, it won't work at all!! With my smart flicker gone, no one spins the spinner, unless I walk out there and do it---takes a lot of spins to put out much corn!!!

hedgie said...

I bet A-M forgot that her momster mail is off!!!

hedgie said...

Margy, so glad to hear that Doreset is doing well. What relief you must be feeling!!

hedgie said...

Just took my pork out of freezer....if anyone would like my "recipe":
works with loin roast, thick chops or country-style ribs!
Put meat in bottom of roaster. Season w/ garlic salt and seasoned pepper to taste. Cover with thick-sliced onion.
Top w/ sauerkraut. Sprinkle a little brown sugar on top. Bake covered at 350:
1 hr. for chops, 90 min. for ribs, 2 hrs. for roast. Enjoy!!

magpie said...

Oh Lynn..stop it !! That sounds too delicious. And I can just imagine the aroma filling the household. That would have worked nicely with my thick pork chops last night...maybe next time.
Let me know what time dinner will be ready ☺ Just kidding....
xo

Yes, relieved, grateful....regarding Dorset...
Now, for the recovery, could be a challenge with the New England winter approaching, but things will work out.
xo

magpie said...

Wonder how Judie is coming along with her essays....well, it is still "Friday" so she has some extra time to do it ☺

floralgirl said...

Well, ok, but I do not like sauerkraut. I will coat the pork loin witha paste made of minced garlic, fresh rosemary and olive oil, and refrigerate it for several hours, then roast it at 350° with 1/4 cup of wine or chicken broth in the pan. and probably potaotes.

Lolly said...

Hi all! I have a few minutes to get on and say hi! We are calling this trip a HUGE success and starting home tomorrow. We went Thursday and saw the special shape balloons. Great fun! We went back Thursday night and saw the special shapes "glowdeo". All the special shapes inflate on the ground and glow! More fun! Jacob collected approx. 20 cards from different balloons and pilots. His favorite was Darth Vader!

It was 33 this morning, but warmed up to a beautiful day. Jacob does not want to go home, but he will get excited to see his parents and Joseph.

Have not read through the blog, but have been wondering about Mits newest granchild. Has he arrived?

Anyway, we have also been to the Sante Fe Children's museum twice and the Albuquerque "Explora" once. Jacob has been thoroughly spoiled!

Mema Jo said...

I turned Momster email on for AM....

Something is at the snowman cam but it is too dark to tell what it is.. Not the bear I don't think - too small but is dark black....

magpie said...

Awesome Lolly!
Bet you are getting some wonderful pictures....

Megan, you can stop that too....sounds deliriously delicious...

magpie said...

The cam folks were panning the camera up into the trees a short while before the feed toss...wonder if they saw something Mema Jo....

Hello Lolly! SOunds like you've had a great time!! No grandbaby yet for HElen.

Mema Jo said...

HI LOLLY ! So great to hear from you! Thought the 3 of you were still floating up in a hot air balloon. lol
No new grandbaby yet for Mits-Annie has DR appointment Monday and the 19th is induce day if Benjamin isn't here yet. Take care and safe journey home

Lolly said...

Yep! Have some fantastic pictures.

Gotta go. Jack is back at the trailer with Jacob. I came over to just get on here.

Back with you in a few days!

Bye!

Mema Jo said...

Margy I was referring to SNOWMAN Cam
as to something dark lying down where the bear usually is but it looks too small.

Their blogs on Snowman and/or Pa woods don't give you a clue in their chatting as to what they are seeing..

magpie said...

Geez, sorry Jo, I thought you were talking about the Pix cam...re-read now you meant Snowman cam - maybe it is the porcupine

magpie said...

I'll get with the program one of these days...

Bye Bye Lolly, that was Short and Sweeeeeeeet

Grandson in SC was hoping to see an armadillo or two there, there not really part of the environs, but have made a presence in recent years

stronghunter said...

Good evening all! Got back from my journey out into the world. I was too late to return the book. The library was closed already. I think they have started closing early on Saturday nights. I dropped the book into the return box, but now it will be late. Oh well, they charge 10 cents a day. I can handle that. Would give them a bit more if it would keep them open on Saturday night.

Here is part of my blog class assignment:

Look at a some blogs. Take some time to explore them and you may even want to post a reply, but be careful, blogs can be addictive!

Addictive? Really? I think I have done the "post a reply" part already!

Hi Lolly! Good to see you back.

Yes, do be careful....you may get addicted.

Megan, yours sounds yummy, too!!! can't imagine not liking kraut!!!
Judie gave up on essay grading for the day---still has 25 left to do, poor gal.
Good to see you on, Lolly! Sounds like a trip to remember for all of you, but especially for Jacob. Travel safe. Let us know when you get home.
Margy, didn't know that armadillos had migrated up to SC!!! Learn something new everyday...they were all over the golf course in FL that my aunt and uncle played, and mom had one living under her patio slab that had to be removed professionally!

stronghunter said...

Kind of looks like the porcupine at the snowman cam.

Mema Jo said...

Maybe that is a small bear on Snowman I think Shirley saw something similar the other night and made a remark about it.

Mema Jo said...

Snowman bloggers are asking the same thing we are - what animal is that.

I don't really know if porcupines have tales. Better google that one.

floralgirl said...

They are saying raccoon

Judie said...

Well, here I am again.

I think it might be a baby bear at Snowman. Keep seeing a small dark critter too big for a bird or squirrel. Climbing a tree and sitting near the bird feeder.

Too much to catch up tonight. Brain is fried. So, turning my light off but leaving the night light on for others. Will be back tomorrow. Prayers for everyone in need. G'night all and sleep well.

Judie

stronghunter said...

I am pretty sure porcupines have tails, but I am not sure it is a porcupine. It could be a raccoon for all I know.

stronghunter said...

Good night, Judie.

Mema Jo said...

Porcupines do have tails....
Guess that is Porky........

Mema Jo said...

REST WELL JUDIE

Porcupines do climb trees.
Don't think it is the baby bear because it has too much tail........

Mema Jo said...

Where is CRUNCH - he'll tell us.....

I did see the grey fox the other week at the Okie Bird feeder when crunch mentioned it.

Mema Jo said...

Shirley did you see the article about
POE's FUNERAL........

stronghunter said...

Yeah that is what I was thinking, too. Bears don't have that much tail.

stronghunter said...

Haven't seen the article yet, Jo. Where is it? I had heard about the funeral on the radio the other morning.

Costume Lady said...

I just caught a glimpse of the critter before the car scared him away...it looked like a coon.

stronghunter said...

Yes, it was Crunch who first identified Porky.

Costume Lady said...

Well since it was too dark to see it there were any rings on the tail or quills on the back.... I guess we still don't know for sure.

Both raccoons and porcupines climb trees. Only the tail knows........

and trying their best to get in.
Aren't as many as there were a week ago.. probably in behind all my pictures and curtain and maybe even in my cupboards.......

I spent many a Saturday at the skating rink when I was in high school. Took my children skating when they were little. The rusult--Kathryn met her husband at a skating rink.

I am afraid I don't skate anymore. Did not really do much skating when the kids were little, even. With four children, I could not afford to break any bones.

Mema Jo said...

Guess they are raccoons, Shirley.
I don't think that porcupines travel in pairs...... LOL

Mema Jo said...

The shuttle buses at NCTC open house are great! They get you where you want to go.
Not too much walking - guess I might bring my eagle cane!

Mema Jo said...

Deb - I am glad to see you are home from you day of mandatory work. I know the feeling about having to be told you HAD to work.... Business must be booming!

stronghunter said...

I zoomed in on them, and am wondering what is back there near the trees in the background. I don't think you can see them until you zoom in.

stronghunter said...

I am getting really tired. Think I need to call it a night. Will came home. He said he was at Fed Ex Field for a huge martial arts competition.

Mema Jo said...

Every time the critters move around on Snowman they look like a different animal... I give!

stronghunter said...

I don't know what they are, either, Jo.

magpie said...

Deb
I hope you will be home to watch the Twins Sunday, remember the word "Win " is part of Twins...think positive.

Glad you are back at YOUR Roost.

xoxo

Mema Jo said...

They really disappear fast

deb said...

No, Jo. Unfortunately, the company I work for is not treating people very fairly in my opinion and lots of long time employees are leaving, we are way short handed right now. I am looking, not too impressed with company or with the leaders in the building.

Mema Jo said...

lol Memories! I can remember the skating skirt and top my mom sewed for me. I thought I was something else at the rink.....

deb said...

I work until 7:30 tomorrow, Margie. They will be playing at home, so that should help!

Mema Jo said...

A change will be good, Deb.
You'll get where you belong in due time!
Any communication with Janie recently.

magpie said...

That's Un-American, Deb....sorry to hear of it...and hope you find something really great out there for you in your searching.

Sister is tucked in for the night and more or less sleeping. Nurse very friendly, that is comforting.

deb said...

No, I haven't heard anything from her since she left. She is so busy, only hear when she has down time.

Mema Jo said...

Sound good Margy
You will sleep well also.......

deb said...

I am off to bed, night everyone!

floralgirl said...

Glad to hear your sister is sleeping, Margy. I'm sure they will take good care of her.
Hang in there, Deb, hopefully you'll find something else.
Gonna head to bed, tired and hubby is hogging the tv with college football...borng... nite all:)

magpie said...

Jo
I am sure you WERE something else!
You still are....

Gonna run out the door and get some milk, feel it is safe to be away from the phones for a few.

Maybe tomorrow I will get converter box hooked up so I can hoot and holler for the Twins

TTFN xo

I actually found a stupid stink bug INSIDE the chimney clean-out; don't think it could have gotten in from the outside---it must have come down the flue!!

Mema Jo said...

Little late but Night Deb & Megan

Just milk, Margy
No oatmeal pies.......

Mema Jo said...

I slept well last evening. Thought all the steroids would keep me awake but they didn't. Arms aren't sore where I got the shots.

Yeah and Andrew knows to not even try it with a 1-arm hug. He knows to get both of them up! It was a really good visit with him, just not near long enough!

It's been a good day around here. Dustin mowed my lawn again and raked leaves and debris from our 40mph winds we had that landed right ing front of the shop. Good customer traffic. Ad in the paper and sign is now on the highway. That helps a lot.

GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
SWEET DREAMS
PRAYERS FOR ALL

paula eagleholic said...

Glad you got to see him, Sharon.

Night to those already turned in and those turning in later.

Time for me to hit the hay!

Night all!

Good end-of-day reports from Wanda, Paula and Sharon.

Don't think we heard from Loretta after she starting cracking crabs.

Before I started blogging, but was watching all this crazy chatter, I remember Belle posting...would love to see her jump on here again.

Good Night to a few more already with the pillows, and in advance to any headed that way...Hope Hedgie doesn't fall asleep in the tubby. ☺

God Bless Us, Every One

Just passing through. Stopped to read what happened after I went to bed last night.

Think I will go back to bed for awhile.

magpie said...

Good Morning...☺
watching the Pix Pa cam, wondering if the feed toss at 6:45 will be on time...
Nice morning skies here...

saw ISS sail by from South to North, was not on the schdule, but it was a nice long transit..

I can't get Finland to open :(
was watching a White-Tailed Eagle on there before bedtime last night, and then the picture went blank :(

magpie said...

Right on schedule...there had been some big fat raccoons in the area but they were all gone before the feed tossed....

guess they will be back soon

magpie said...

Jo
Before I forget, Lake Washington Live cam back up for the Eagle Nest....discovered that last night. ☺

Chilly morning here, 37° around 6 am.
Well, ok, Margy, just trying to help a friend out. Just hate for you to miss the stink bug experience, don't want you to feel left out.

stronghunter said...

Good morning again.

Chilly here, too. Maybe not as low as 37.

stronghunter said...

Weather channel says 44 degrees here.

floralgirl said...

Morning:) It's 39° here now.

stronghunter said...

24 degrees in Ft. Collins. High there is to be 44 today. Brrrr. Bet my brother isn't riding the bike today.

You were going to share the stink bug experience with Margy? From what I have been hearing we all might get a chance to experience it in Shepherdstown.

stronghunter said...

Enjoying eggs and sausage this morning. Really wanted it yesterday, but was out, so I picked some up on my journey into the world yesterday evening. Sausage is a bit too spicy for me. Will go back to Bob Evans next time.

Good morning, everyone.

Sure was nice not to have that stupid light shining on my eyes all night. Did sleep well.

Going to get an extra sip or two of coffee and then tackle the last of the assignment responses. Will be so happy to have them finished. Need to spend some time preparing for next week as well.

Enjoy the day! Lovely cool and sunshiny here this a.m.
