GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!---CONGRATS! CEIL--You are our #1 EAGLE MOM--today & every day!!----MORNIN' CEIL--& SHIRLEY---- SHIRLEY--That letter says it all!----Do you know the writer?
Oops, missed the new thread. I was saying over there that osprey nest looks almost like our nest. Same view from above and everything. I think I like it.
Morning all:) Have a great day, it's a gorgeous one here. If only it would rain, things would be grand!
Kids computer power adapter part came yesterday, so maybe I can regain control of my computer.
Shirley, that is a great letter to the editor, and hubby showed me the one from yesterday's post, by Judith, also wonderful. Great work on everybody's part contacting reps. and papers and getting the word out.
Anyway, back outside, things need to be watered and staked and weeded and mulched and it's an all day, life consuming job...Calgon, take me away.....
Yep, Ceil, I did get lost! I tried to get onto the Osprey site that Sissy was telling us about and it froze my 'puter up. Had to re-boot. I'm afraid to try it again, but it sounds great, with sound! Has anyone else tried it?
Well I have some good news. The Baltimore Sun reported that the eagles that had their nest destroyed in February at Glen L. Martin airport did find their old nest. They had two chicks who are about to fledge. A little late but doing fine so far. Norma you didn't miss a project. As Sharon says more to be revealed later. Have things to do BBL

Thanks for all of your kind words. I enjoyed writing the piece for the Culpeper paper. Was beginning to think they might not use it because they might not think it was local enough. Still nothing in Fredericksburg paper.
Grandson is now shooting bad guys in a Star Wars computer game. He likes me to watch him and keep up with the game. I do my best.
Yesterday's project was to repair the back steps. Still need to replace one board, and want to get to it before the sun gets around to that side of the house.
Grandson helped with the measuring and drilling--and gave lots of advice. He was a good helper.

Chesapeake Bay Foundation told me they're going to use two of my photos in their calendar. The one of the lighthouse that won the contest and one of an osprey mother and chick in a water platform at Blackwater.
DANA---There is a PACE of DONKEYS this am----Beautiful DARK GREY one!!----(asking about you & ED-- ho!)---keeping you folks in my thoughts & prayers)---take care!
Bob, so good to hear from you, even when you don't have some fabulous photos to show us;) Let us know when and where we can purchase those calendars....hope they are for 2010!
Good morning, nice to see Bob on here today. How exciting to get his pictures in the calendar. Mary and I spent the last 45 minutes debating taking off the find some Grebes and their babies. The birds won, so I am off to see what we can find.
I'm anxious to get one of those calendars myself. No idea when they will be out.
Wanda - I haven't been out to BW for a couple of weeks but I do have a few photos I haven't posted yet of osprey mom feeding her three chicks at a water platform at BW from about a month ago. Lisa posted one of them a while back. Maybe I'll try to upload them tonight.
I entered two more photo contests too. The National Wildlife Refuge contest and the Audubon Magazine contest. I entered 10 photos in each. They don't annouce results until October.
Hidey didn't stay long at all this morning, not even 5 minutes and then poof.
Norma, it was my knee and ribs and I am alot of better. Didn't have to go to the doc, thank God! Tom is doing great. Needs a day off but other than that he is good. Worked all weekend.
Thanks Shirley. I'll probably be at the NCTC Open House in the fall. Are you planning on attending? Of course I'll need directions for dinner (long story).
I was wondering when things get started at the open house. I have hotel reservations for Sat. night. We will need to arrive from Fredericksburg that morning.
Long story short, the first year I went to the Open House I was planning on meeting everyone for dinner but couldn't remember where it was supposed to be. No one has ever let me forget it.
I will be at the Clarion Inn. Made reservations for Saturday night, the 17th. Figured we would leave here early Saturday morning.
I am planning to bring at least one daughter and grandson at present. May be joined by Suzi, my other daughter. She does not know what her schedule will be then.
Suzi's the one planning to go into the shark cage in Hawaii next month.
MEGAN!!---I need you to hear my bad luck---Things like this happen to you too!!---I need you to CUSS!!!-- 1--washer & dryer arrived-- 2--was told i need a certified electrician to hook up a box, etc--(store folks aren't allowed to do that)--DUH--no one mentioned that when i was paying-- 3--called electrician---(will cost big $$-- 4--he came--didn't have right tools--will come back-- 5--dryer outside on car port--me--I'm inside --- cussing!!--(i can't)---will all of you!---cuss for me? I can say---DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!
I just saw on the news that another body was found in our Harbor. We get at least one a week. It is the aide to DC Councilman Jack Evans. They said he was last seen on Sunday night on a boat drinking and no one reported him missing?
I think that 2 of the 4 owls on Wild Watch have made their first flights. I don't know if they return to the nest box or not. It is the 2 older owls. The 2 younger owls are still there. Late last night I could see the 2 younger ones in the corner & tail feathers as though there was an owl up on top of the nest box. Never really saw if it was a young one or an adult. So I think we made it down to the last 2. I think Elkins Bill had been enjoying watching them.
Well, we have a new surface and bright white parking lines out here now. And I got through the experience fairly well..only one parking ticket. Hahaha.
Parked my Dodge sport sedan in the parking lot of a mall across the street (away from most businesses), and nobody bothered it.
But the night before I parked along an adjacent street where many others were parking. When I went to get it to return it to the new-dried parking lot, I found a very unfriendly $60 parking ticket thereon...
I don't know if any of the others got a ticket; they weren't visible on the windshields when I got back to it.
Have a great day today. By the way did you see the new post for Mason?
Recent research says that cussing blocks pain. It was on TV, so it must be true.
Norma, be sure that you do not use one of those plastic exhaust hoses for the dryer. Get a metal one. Almost burned down my house learning that one.
Two o'clock in the morning. Son was drying clothes and dryer caught fire. Dryer was still running while fire was burning. Neighbor put out fire with garden hose. Fire dept. couldn't find house, so it was good that my neighbor went into action. Don't know why he didn't get electrocuted.
We had to do extensive work on the laundry room, but the rest of the house was okay. Fortunately I woke up and smelled smoke, got to the fire before the smoke alarms even went off, but, you know how they tell you you should put your hands on a door to see if it is hot, not just open it. That is a good idea.
Ceil, I got your message. I will be happy to participate.
Hello from the beach! We arrived about 5 PM yesterday. Had a swim and then hamburgers on Laurel's deck. Her cabin is really neat, one bedroom and a loft for the boys. Our trailer is just across the "street".
We spent the morning on the beach and now having lunch. The boys are having a ball. Jacob is doing great in the water this year. Joseph is a pro with his Boogie Board. Right now they are in their loft having a ball.
Gosh, I feel like it's been forever since I've talked with you all! Had to go to lab for routine blood tests in anticipation of my Dr. appt. this Friday. Spent most of the morning waiting my turn yesterday, and it put me behind in everything else I needed to get done. (I've NEVER seen the place so busy! Took almost 20 min. just to find a parking place!)
Had 2 classes last night, and found out that my Medical Terminology class will be an exercise in self- organization and time management. The teacher has set it up so that we (there's 2 of us) will have video tapes to watch, and weekly quizzes, with a mid-term exam and a final. We go and watch the videos, do the workbook exercises, take the tests, and we're done. Good idea, since we will have to have our act together if we want to be self-employed eventually. Can go watch videos any time the room is free, so leaves a lot of flexibility. My Keyboard class was last night, too.
Please say some prayers for my SIL--she caught some kind of nasty bug while in Hawaii, and has major chest congestion, headache, body aches, feels like road kill, etc. Hit her like a ton of bricks! (BIL needs some protection from above so he doesn't wind up with it, too!) Boy, haven't seen her so sick since can't remember when!
Wow, I've been trying to catch up on today's blog, and guess I need to get in on the act: %$#@&**~+%%$% @@+#$%&%$#@!!! There, is that helpful? Norma, I feel your pain! I'm going to have to call someone out to check my fairly new refrig., myself-- seems there's a recall, and some like it have spontaneously burst into flames! How reassuring. It's supposed to be the most reliable brand regarding repairs, too. AAAAaaaaargggghh!
Well, gotta get busy and hit the road running--must find 3 jobs to apply for, to keep the EDD happy, and have to make a trip to Wal-Mart, and so on, and so on... Will not have any classes tomorrow, Thursday, or Friday, though. Do have to study for a test in Human Diseases tonight, but will be nearly home free after that! Prayers for everyone, and hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday! If our Hidey or Belle or Lib show up, say 'Hi' for me, until tomorrow! I'll be back then. :o]
Hello again. Back....with post-lunch sleepies! Think I need a panda nap! Catching up on here...commenting as I go! Mits, would love to see Kibibi's expressions with new flavors---bet it is funny! Cool that big bro gets to interact with her! Congrats, Bob! We want to buy calendars!!! Is there any kind of voting that WE can help with in those new photo contests????? Shirley, we get together for dinner on Fri. evening, too, at The Rumsey Tavern inthe Clarion---it's what Bob will never, ever forget again!!!
Lolly, bet the beach is lovely! Sounds like you're having fun in the sun! Andrea, sounds like a neat way to study! Could your SIL have H1N1??? She better get to the doctor! deb, hope yoyu are enjoying your day off! Glad to hear that you enjoyed the shrimp. And Shirley, are you trying Paula's (via ex-BF Rick!!) recipe?? I stopped at the local produce market and got 'maters, so IF I get hungry this evening (feels doubtful at the moment!), plan on a BLT!!! First one of the season.
Shirley, fire sounds like it was scary! TG nothing more serious im damage but most important that you woke up and everyone was safe. Andrea, get your fridge tended to ASAP! Guess I better go throw a load into drier before I forget.
Got a nice cantaloupe, too--just finished slicing and took a taste---really good one! Anyone like vanilla ice cream with their cantaloupe? One of my favs!
Yes--the shrimp with barbeque sauce and bacon. I'm using skewers. I hope that will work.
Most wonderful shrimp we ever had came from Calabash, NC. We were at Myrtle Beach and drove up to Calabash to get shrimp directly off the shrimp boats there. Went back and steamed them with a little beer in the water and sprinkled them with Old Bay, as I recall.
Lynn, I can see why you thought you were talking to yourself -- schizophrenics do that, too. It's okay. We're here for you. Also, pictures now on C.D so can use for class when discussing autism.
Wish I could still walk the zoo. Thanks for the updates Mits.
With all the cussing out there today, everyone should be feeling really good. Lots of my students also feel really good - must be the language -- I thought it was drugs.
Hang in there Bookworm (Wanda?). Academic prayers and refrigerator prayers, also.
Had shrimp tonight. Tried coconut. Good. Fried so not very often.
Well I heard cussing clear over here in Illinois. My Norma what a shame!!!! I had that same situation when I moved into this home like 8 years ago. I hate it when things don't go smoothly and folks don't tell you what you need to know to get things into place so they will go smoothly. Hoping for a much better day tomorrow for you Norma.
I also came by to say 2 things. Tonight is my last shift on any schedule other than one I choose to make for myself. I will always be connected in some way to this shelter and its work and some of the folks who work there. I will always help out etc but I will not be a "regular scheduled employee". :-). and i figured out why Norma thought I was older than I am when she met me in person..because I did this once before LOL...for a short time. ok so MTBR but while I have Dex I will pretty much enjoy and care for him now
and hey Eagle Season is only a little over 4 months away where I live. My camera is ready!!!! and my calendar is open to go and see them any time I want to . How cool.
OK hugs to all. Glad to read Heidi checked in early today as well. Thats great.
Lynn, we probably used straight beer, too. Whe had a lot of cooks, and I've forgotten, but it was good.
Funny thing about the shrimp we cooked tonight. My son was grilling it, and some guy came by. First, he wanted to seal our driveway, then he wanted to buy the shrimp dinner!
I wrapped the shrimp in bacon and put it on skewers, then Will put everything in a grilling basket along with some slices of squash and zucchini. It was delicious.
never ever, let the kids dig in the sand, very dangerous...
Boy Rescued After Sand Cave-In In Ocean CityOCEAN CITY, Md. (WJZ) ―
An eleven-year-old boy from Pittsburgh was on the beach Tuesday afternoon in Ocean City. He was playing in the sand when it caved in, burying him for a short while.
Beach Patrol was called and they rescued him.
He had to be resuscitated after he was pulled out of the sand.
He was transported to an area hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
We never did make it to the pool today. I eventually told Hunter he had to end the game and when he tried to watch Sponge Bob Squarepants, the sound would not work.
I told him that he had worn out my TV. (Actually, you have to make some adjustments to get the sound back when you've used it for games.) Grandma had had enough shooting for the day. She was ready to shoot the TV.
Glo, I was the one who thought you were an older woman. I can't remember exactly why...it was something that was on your profile...don't see it now. I was floored to see a lovely, younger than older woman!;)
Well Wanda perhaps it was you too, but Norma was around the first time I said I was retiring and that is also why Sharon started kidding me when I said I was retiring again. But for like 9 months I did a job I absolutley hated while I waited for this new shelter to open. Finally gave up and walked away to wait it out..couldn't do it any longer. All along hoping a volunteer I trained 20 years ago who was now going to be Director of this new shelter would ring my phone. Bless her heart she did. She is not too happy I am leaving now but its been 2 1/2 years since we opened and she knows I have plans to help out in more than one area. I have been essentially doing this for more than 20 years. Time to put down a whole lot of the responsibility. I think I can sound old forgetful confused and occasionally wise...which no doubt led you to think I was old!!!! LOL
Heck for all I know maybe you all greeted me with how old I wasn't. I should come again to hear it LOL. Think I'd better let a couple of folks know ahead of time if i plan to do that.
All clean. It wasn't the best day to be out and about, the wind was too strong. We did find the Western Grebes, but the chicks grew too much to be riding on the back's of the adults.
Shirley, tell Hunter I love Sponge Bob Squarepants!
I think I put the pieces together between Glo (Gloria?) and Dexter. I admire your ability to work in a shelter. How can it not break your heart? Hope you will now have time to enjoy being with Dexter -- you will be his seeing-eye-person.
Mits, maybe in the Fall when the weather is cool I will ask my husband to wheel me around a few places in the zoo. Maybe I can find a day when you will be there and can say hello in person.
Well, tomorrow I must sacrifice and make a visit to the univ. to do a few things. I'll visit when I get home in the afternoon. If anyone sees Hidey, say hi.
Glo, know you're at work now, but if you check in tomorrow, the age thing was because your age on your profile was showing that you were VERY old!!!! It was a date rather than an age, if I remember correctly. LOL! BTW---check your mail! Judie, sorry you have trouble walking, too. What a pain! Paula, slow down, girl!
Good morning everyone! Watching the Loch of Lowes osprey this morning, four in the nest at one time. That was pretty cool. Parent brought dinner and left. I reckon there are 3 babies but I am not sure.
Well, I have just been blogging and working, thinking I was all alone!! I see I have lots of company this morning!! Good morning Tammy, Bill, and Lori! How the heck are ya?
I had to get a new computer and forgot to change my email settings to check for messages every minute. It was set to 30 minutes. In 30 minutes, I can miss all kinds of stuff!!
That is the loch of lowes link, have to click on the osprey pic for the live feed to come up. There are all kinds of cams on that site but I have only been to the osprey one. Obviously, as you can see, I can't do the link thingy so you will have to copy and paste.

Update From a Great Ape House Keeper—July 10
As we move quickly into July, Kibibi seems to be celebrating appropriately by embracing her independence. She is keeping Mandara busy by continuing to crawl and climb all over the place. Kibibi also continues to munch on solid food, her new favorite being cherry tomatoes. She seems to enjoy the taste of novel foods and her expression is quite funny as she explores new flavors.
The relationships among members of the gorilla group continue to evolve. The most exciting development of the last month has been the increasing role big brother Kojo has been taking in Kibibi’s life
BWO---One can see the OSPREY CHICK in the nest without enlarging the pic!!---COOL---Wonder if LISA has named her!
BWO update...
07/13/09:
The Chick-Naming Contest has ended, and we'll announce our winner soon. Thanks to all those who took the time to enter.
Our chick is beginning to exercise its wings more as it gets closer to fledging.
TWO BARN OWLS!!-----BURROWING OWL site is showing the burrow BUT NOT THE OWLS(ho)--Can certainly hear the HERONS--but can't see them---fuzzy!
That osprey at Loch of Lowes either is brand new to fledging or hasn't yet. Lots of flapping. Fish stuck on its talon. Now there, got it off.
Huh! Disappeared while I was posting that. Must be better at it that it looks.
SISSY---(just swat me!)---I forgot to ask about your ankle---did you need dr?----Pray that you didn't have to go & HOW IS HANDSOME HUSBAND??--med is still working---I hope!
Good morning! Just checking in. Haven't stopped by in a while

Chesapeake Bay Foundation told me they're going to use two of my photos in their calendar. The one of the lighthouse that won the contest and one of an osprey mother and chick in a water platform at Blackwater.
DANA---There is a PACE of DONKEYS this am----Beautiful DARK GREY one!!----(asking about you & ED--
ho!)---keeping you folks in my thoughts & prayers)---take care!
outstanding Bob:)!!!!!
Very nice letter, Shirley.
Lori - Sissy saw Hidey in the nest....no posts on how long he stayed. I have video on the EM blog of one of Hidey's 2 visits last Thursday...
morning Paula:)
Thanks for the update on the Eagles, Ceil and Mits.
Awesome, Bob!!
MORNIN' PAULA!!---Hope the weather in MD is as nice as it is in WV---LOVE this weather!!---
Bob, so good to hear from you, even when you don't have some fabulous photos to show us;)
Let us know when and where we can purchase those calendars....hope they are for 2010!
Sissy saw Belle and Hidey, very early and they only stayed for a few minutes:(
Thanks, Wanda.
Morning, all :):)
Good Morning All! Great article, Shirley. Hope it proves to be true about the change of road construction that Bill received.
Oldest daughter has arrived and a gd from Catonsville may be coming at lunch.
Congratulations Bob! For sure we all need to order the calendars - I still want you to sign mine!
Good morning, nice to see Bob on here today. How exciting to get his pictures in the calendar. Mary and I spent the last 45 minutes debating taking off the find some Grebes and their babies. The birds won, so I am off to see what we can find.
BBL
I'm anxious to get one of those calendars myself. No idea when they will be out.
Wanda - I haven't been out to BW for a couple of weeks but I do have a few photos I haven't posted yet of osprey mom feeding her three chicks at a water platform at BW from about a month ago. Lisa posted one of them a while back. Maybe I'll try to upload them tonight.
Hello Bob, I'm a newbie. Haven't met you, but have heard a lot about you and your pictures.
Congrats on getting pics in calendar. I want one, too.
Hi Bob!! So good to see you this morning!!
Bob--Yes. I am planning to be there. Looking forward to it.
Hi Bob. I want a calendar when it comes out.
I don't know anything about the dinner story.
Bob you know we will be glad to give you the directions to the rumplestillskin inn. LOL
I was wondering when things get started at the open house. I have hotel reservations for Sat. night. We will need to arrive from Fredericksburg that morning.
Shirley we were to meet for dinner at the Rumsey and Bob forgot the name. We had him so confused.
Bob, mark your calendar for Oct 17th!
Shirley - what am I to send you since I have your email address. I read comments but not sure what it is.....
Long story short, the first year I went to the Open House I was planning on meeting everyone for dinner but couldn't remember where it was supposed to be. No one has ever let me forget it.
Shirley Where are you staying? I think things start about 10. Lynn sent me your address will send later today.
Update for Mason link
Jo I needed Shirley's e-mail address and Lynn sent it to me. Thanks.
It has been almost a year since his accident.
Bob we love to tease you. You are such a good sport.
Bob Just let us all know here on the blog of the calendar ordering address.
I guess the new photo contest doesn't allow us to vote! We do good jobs at that! lol
Ok Ceil You and Shirley are good to go!
Checking my e-mail.
Hmmm... it's almost lunchtime, anyone headed to the rumrunner???
I Googled, and the Rumplestilskin Inn is in Ireland. Can't be that one.
Megan I'll be there
Shirley we are staying there. We will be there Friday and Saturday unless Mit's DIL has the baby.
I thought about making reservations for Friday, but we are really not that far away, and are usually exhausted on Friday evenings.
I had thought I might take that Friday off, but do not know that daughter could.
DIL-Daughter-in-Law?
Grocery store run.
BBL
Shirley, Ceil, MM and I go Friday, get to get a sneak peek if eagles are there, but that time of year, it is sometimes iffy....
I'm also playing it day by day, since baby Ben is due the 19th....
off to dentist and doc for routine blood work...ttyl:)

Well, work day is done. Gonna hit the shower and fold some laundry! See ya'll after while!

Well, what a #@*&^% $#&#@&* disaster, Norma, sorry to hear that. *#*$ %#$% @$*%$ !!!!!
back outside to water...
Oh My Norma! Why can't things be done without causing a commotion? I like smooth happenings!
#%^$)((*#!!@$#%%#^***
There that should help a little!
WHAT'S GOING ON HERE? I heard cussing all the way out in my garden;);)
I just saw on the news that another body was found in our Harbor. We get at least one a week. It is the aide to DC Councilman Jack Evans. They said he was last seen on Sunday night on a boat drinking and no one reported him missing?
LOL Wanda, I heard...
^^&#^&()(&&&&
And

&&&@#**$(%^)*#^^@^%$^^$%!!!!!
Norma that is such a shame. Megan,Jo and Paula did a good job.
i love you eagle buddies!!----now i feel better!!---ho!
Well at least you don't have to do any more laundry today! Ho! lol

C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
I should have said I have an older Jeep Cherokee, and that's the vehicle I parked along the street.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
Jim - $60 is steep!
Saw the new update on Mason & brought over the tinyURL for everyone. Great that he may be able to go home in about 2 weeks.
Enjoy your day!
@#$%&*! &%$#@!
That's for Norma.
Ha! With all the cussing going on I am ROFLMAO.
So sorry for all the inconvenience and expense, Norma.
Congratulations, Bob.
Judie
Hello from the beach! We arrived about 5 PM yesterday. Had a swim and then hamburgers on Laurel's deck. Her cabin is really neat, one bedroom and a loft for the boys. Our trailer is just across the "street".
We spent the morning on the beach and now having lunch. The boys are having a ball. Jacob is doing great in the water this year. Joseph is a pro with his Boogie Board. Right now they are in their loft having a ball.
Hi, Everyone!

Good afternoon eagle budlets!
Wow, I've been trying to catch up on today's blog, and guess I need to get in on the act: %$#@&**~+%%$%
@@+#$%&%$#@!!!
Daughter just left for home - going to put my feet up for a few .....

three letter words, and a few four letter words!!! (Those came from Laurel. Shall I was wash her mouth out with soap?!!!)
Does that help??
Heading to the store! Bye!
BBL
My family room floor is now littered with the dead bodies of bad space guys and mangled space ships.
Must get grandson off to the pool. He's not kidding when he says he could do this all day. I have to remind him to take bathroom breaks.
Bought shrimp for tonight. Will need to allow time to fix them.
BBL
Hello again. Back....with post-lunch sleepies! Think I need a panda nap! Catching up on here...commenting as I go!
Mits, would love to see Kibibi's expressions with new flavors---bet it is funny! Cool that big bro gets to interact with her!
Congrats, Bob! We want to buy calendars!!! Is there any kind of voting that WE can help with in those new photo contests?????
Shirley, we get together for dinner on Fri. evening, too, at The Rumsey Tavern inthe Clarion---it's what Bob will never, ever forget again!!!
Poor Norma....hope the electrician is good looking even tho' he doesn't sound too swift! But maybe he's rich!
I'm cussing for you, too!*#^%@)*&
Hope Mason makes it home soon.
Jim, so you have two vehicles that you had to move, huh? Was the ticket for parking too long, or what? Bummer.
Looks like I'm talking to myself, so think that panda snooze is a good idea now. Catch you later.
Tonight is spaghetti/meatball night in this house. You know who is on her way for dinner! (4 yr old Alexis)
Well they are walking in the door
BBL
That's the way I do steamed shrimp, too, Shirley, except I use only beer as the liquid!
Enjoy your s'ghetti and Alexis, Jo!!!
Hi all,
Lynn, I can see why you thought you were talking to yourself -- schizophrenics do that, too.
Off to watch some mindless t.v.
Judie
Thats great.
anytime, Judie:):)
No, he did not sell it to the driveway guy!
never ever, let the kids dig in the sand, very dangerous...
His condition is not known at this time.
sounds yummy....
Speaking of beer, have you tried beer mustard? It is very good.
beer mustard, think I have, can't remember what brand, good on corned beef
Glo, I was the one who thought you were an older woman. I can't remember exactly why...it was something that was on your profile...don't see it now. I was floored to see a lovely, younger than older woman!;)
You can also put it in a glass and add water and drink it;) Tee Hee
I am home and very dirty! BB after I clean up!
OK off to work for me
Cheers,
Judie
All caught up on blog. Sorry for your troubles, Norma.
Lolly, the beach sounds wonderful!
Glo, enjoy your freedom!
We have lots of good swearers on here. :)
sounds good Judie:)
I am off to read. Night everyone!
Aahhh, beer and shrimp...or is that beer shrimp? Yum. And coconut shrimp. Double yum.
Taking a quick break...mowed the back, fed the dogs, talked to son, vacuumed...still more to do, will try to check in later...
Done the chores for tonight!
Hope Margy is having a great time in MA w/ James.
Nice evening out there...
As Sissy would say, I am slam wore out!
Catch ya'll tomorrow...night all.
Hugs to all ♥
Hey Shirley, your letter to the editor showed up in my email alert for bald eagles! You go girl!
Ditto, Paula!!
Tomorrow........
PEace and prayers.
Night, again!
good night everyone:)

Good morning everyone! Watching the Loch of Lowes osprey this morning, four in the nest at one time. That was pretty cool. Parent brought dinner and left. I reckon there are 3 babies but I am not sure.
Nothing in our nest so far this morning.
I hear our Hidey this morning but haven't seen hide nor feather yet.
There she is!!!! Whining and whining. Reckon she is waiting on a parent to bring breakfast this morning!! What a beautiful sight!!
Good Morning Sissy!
I hope you are still here and got to see Hidey. She is in the nest and searching for goodies I think.
It sure is nice to see her. It's a good start to the day!
Guess we were typing at about the same time.
Pretty ain't she. :)
Hidey is perched right under the cam, sounds like she is sitting on my desk. She is a very vocal eaglet, to say the least.
That's an odd screech coming from Hidey this morning. Don't think I've ever heard her sound like that.
Good Eagle Morning Tammy and Sissy!
How fabulous to see Hidey this beautiful morning. :)
That baby puts a big smile on my face.
What a nice surprize!!!! Turned on computer and saw the big baby
Tammy,it does sound like she learned a new word
Good Morning Lori... Bill...
I know, I can't help but smile when I see her.
Sure wish I knew what she was saying *lol*
There she went, back to explore her world!!
I am thinking this one osprey at Loch of Lowes hasn't fledged yet but I am not sure. It is always there in the nest.
It's probably FEED ME FEED ME
No nestovers here, must be traveling on
Hidey didn't go very far. I can still hear her very well.
Still there pretty close
I'd offer to share my frosted flakes with her but I don't think she'd take me up on it.
I see some sailboats in the distance at the Finland on the water nest. That is such a beautiful picture!
Maybe if you added some fish oil,YUCK
Fish oil?!?!
*lol*
Well, if I put fish oil in it, I wouldn't have to share, I'd give it all to her. :)
I don't have the link Sissy. I wish I could see what you are looking at.
Well, I have just been blogging and working, thinking I was all alone!! I see I have lots of company this morning!! Good morning Tammy, Bill, and Lori! How the heck are ya?
Gotta head out,Y'all have a good wildlife watching day!!!!!
I had to get a new computer and forgot to change my email settings to check for messages every minute. It was set to 30 minutes. In 30 minutes, I can miss all kinds of stuff!!
http://www.thewebbroadcastingcorporation.com/swt/swt.php
That is the loch of lowes link, have to click on the osprey pic for the live feed to come up. There are all kinds of cams on that site but I have only been to the osprey one. Obviously, as you can see, I can't do the link thingy so you will have to copy and paste.
Thank you Bill, you too!
Doing fine here Sissy. Putting notes together for a meeting I have alittle later today and enjoying the company of you fine folk.
:)
Thanks Sissy, I got it.
Vocal one isn't it.
Does the camera move around? I don't see any water or boats.
