Well, Hidey is no longer sitting up and shaking her head. It looks like she has fallen over, face down, passed out! LOL
Wonder if she will be here when I get up in the morning. Probably not!

Hidey is awake and at the edge of the nest around the 4 o'clock spot.
Cute little fish lying in the nest.
I was about to say I thought Hidey might have departed the nest, and indeed I couldn't see anything.
I even peered closely at the Spirit Eagles, but I couldn't see him.
However, I "might" have seen his beak or something stick out from behind that darn smudge at about 4 o'clock.

He is perching at about 4 o'clock and looking like one of the Spirits until he moves.

There's another good sized Nile Monitor at Pete's Pond. I can't tell if this one of the biggest ones yet or not. He's on land and sniffing for birds and nests near a large bush on the camera side.
Not sure the Otter is still there....

Some Jackals are going to drink on the far side of the pond...
They had a pack of Wild Dogs a couple of times lately. Africa used to have a lot of those, but a huge number died in a Rabies epidemic a few years ago. I think man might have decided to do what he could to bring them back.

Jim you would be happy to see that Hidey is back in the middle of the nest now, still fussing with the insects.
I heard a whip-poor-will tonight up in Morgan County, two in fact, calling back and forth to each other. Love is in the air ♥

Monkeys of some kind at Pete's Pond this morning. That is a great site to watch, all different kinds of animals every day!
Beautiful in Virginia too. Lots of birds. We have mockingbirds who try to take over our yard in the summer. I love their attitude. They think they own the place.
MORNING YA'LL hot and sunny in GA. 90 degrees today..kinda wishing for some of that rain back.

I hear some slight sounds on the cam like Hidey might be up in the tree.
Thanks Dana. He is a pretty sick man right now. He tried to work last night but had to come home. I have tried to explain to him this is not a cold and can have serious repercussions if he doesn't take care of himself. I think he realized it last night, so maybe he will now!!

Sissy, as I recall, the doctors told Dustin (my grandson), to rest and do nothing strenuous, no running, jumping and no sports for a long while. I noticed he tired very easily, too. It can be a serious illness.
