Well, my youngun is officially gone. Pretty emotional this morning but it helps to know that he is just 2 hours away. They have to come in Thursday for Town Band rehearsal and then Saturday for the concert.
SHARON---He isn't that far away--but I feel your PAIN!---look at it this way---would you want him lounging around at home with you!! ho!---It will take some time & soon you will be bragging on your 'college kid'---ho!---stay cool--love ya!

Good afternoon eagle buds! Been a really sad day here at the Riffe house. Andrew moved today and it is one of the hardest things I have ever done to watch him drive off of this hill! Learn more every day about what my parents went through!!
Loretta loved the pictures. Wow a lot of lavender. Funny squirrel. Sharon and Sissy it is hard when the move. Getting used to my son moving. Waiting for a call from Hong Kong where he is visiting for a few weeks.
Haven't seen the snake again, Norma, yet....luckily, have never had a mosue problem here! Moles and squirrels are the biggest nemesis. Sissy, know that Sharon and you are experiencing the first pangs of empty nest syndrome, human-wise...it is hard, but it's also cool to watch them mature and come into their own.

Looks like the Lake Washington cam has been frozen since 6/26 am hours and the osprey cam also not updating.
Little owls and blue birds are correct.

1ST: Look at NBG; one eaglet is in a tree near the camera and in close-up.
I don't know if my live feed is working. Not a leaf is moving.
Jim
Loretta - pics are great! Really enjoyed seeing them!
I was wondering about 'no movement' on my NCTC live feed either, Jim.
Now all three eaglets are in the NBG nest... at least a couple of them have a lot of white in their tails for immatures.
Jim
WOW, NBG has 3 babies & 1 adult!
One NBG eaglet flew away
BBL
They just moved the cam around to show the 3rd eaglet on branch
Finney's chicks all have their heads up and they're gawking at their new world.
Jim
Thanks JIM!---1 ADULT---3 'REBELS' at the NORFOLK site!!!---All is right in the 'REBEL' world!!----
Ah ha!! I just saw a small bird moving in our nest. I guess the live feed is working. Boy, it must be calm there this morning.

SHARON---Have you ever heard of FOSTERVILLE, WV?----CNN NEWS is reporting from there now!!!
Justin just took the camera out to try to get a pic of the flicker babies but they were all back in the tree.
Bye Hidey . . .
I am watching CNN too. Wondered where that town is.
Fosterville is a bit south of Charleston.
