Hey Helen, is that your sweet little Maggie you haae on your blog space? What a doll and that smile could brighten anyone's day.
yes, Candy...it is Maggie, big day tomorrow, her Dad is plunging into the Chesapeake Bay for Special Olympics of Maryland
I wish someone would take a hammer to that microphone or give it a shot of adrenelin.
Brrrrr. I hope all goes well.
Lib popped in with another stick
Lib is back, with a stick.
both eagles at BWO now
I knew I shouldn't have said it was working so good today.
me too, Candy:)
BWE looks pretty comfortable!

I wonder if BWE will stay the night?

BWE keeps jumping around looking in the nest cup
Hi! Was in the study cleaning windwons, decided to sit and check the nest, two eagles! And one cozy one at BWE!
I wish that Belle would race Lady BWthis year......... lol
LOL windwons are windows!
Thanks for the email pic Mits or I would have missed this one..
`Oh oh, They are looking at each other very intently.
I wonder if she is tweaking the egg cup to get it just right. Too bad they can't have more bandwidth to get a faster refresh.
See what you mean about Lady BW looking in the egg cup.
this is just wishful thinking on my part, but hoping she is feeling eggy...
Hi Lolly, Candy Mits and Sharon! I am sure Lisa is watching her gal sitting in the egg well!!! It's really not too early for them!
Hit the F5, Deb! We are all going to go Awwwwwwwwwwif she flys out!
What's Lib & Belle trying to prove? It's like I'll move if you do!BWE is smack dab right in the middle ofthe egg well!!!!
Keep posting what you're seeingI am off to Olive Garden BBL
Look at the color on the back of Lady BW.
wish I were going to Olive Garden:(
F5 is a Windows thing, Jo. I right click, hit reload and then it only changes every once in a while.
Me, too. I haven't been there in a long time.
I sure wish I was going to the Olive Garden too. Jo, you have so many birthdays and family gatherings, you lucky person.
I'm thinking she is feeling "eggy" or close to it!
Lisa says it can happen anytime between now and end of the month
refreshing BWE doesn't help much, it still runs thru its 30 seconds for me
Looks to me like Lady BW has settled in for the long haul. Can we all hope?
AAARRGGHHH...WISH OUR SOUND WOULD STAY ON:(
geese are flying by
Same thing here, Helen. Sometimes I can get it to jump to the next picture earlier than the 30 sec., but then I have to wait longer for the next picture.
frustrating isn't it Deb???
Lib is back.
sounds like people talking right underneath the nest
It was a pretty fly out, too bad I wasn't taping it.
I am off to accomplish a few more tasks. BBL Drat! No Olive Garden for me.
sister calling BB
El Omega Mexican place for me tonight. Haven't been there in ages.
@#%$##$% blog is making me sign in every other post:(...GRRRRRRR!
close your ears, Red...maybe HP going on
HP is good.
poor Lib, looking for leftovers.
Big Rig Steve's truck must have had serious problems.
He sure has been having serious problems, Red
eagles at NBG
night light on at BWE
It is getting pretty dark at BWE, sure hope she doesn't take off on us.
I thought she was going to stay last night but she left around 6 PM
I know Deb, but she did take off yesterday, when it was dark
Both eagles at BWE
both are at BWO now...this is what happened last night both were there, then both left
Good evening...?????? Not feeling like it's very good...this whole day has been a bummer....when leaving to meet daughter I got out of truck at end of driveway to get mail and found scads of roofing nails in my driveway. Picked up at least 30....I called to file a police report, and they sent out a deputy...he picked up a bunch more that I had missed...Oh, young eyes are good!!
Olive Garden sounds good! And so does Red's Mexican place! BWE looks like she's settling in....?? No one home our nest!
BWE THINKS THEY HAVE AN EGG!!!!
We are hoping, Lynn, at BWE, just watching and waiting to see what she does.
BWE may have an egg---Lisa is saying to watch for a roll!
Wow, I just checked a few minutes ago to see if they had posted anything, because I suspected something had happened. I had to refresh to get the message and see the picture.
BWE correction-Lisa said they maybe saw an egg roll - has pic.Our nest MT--got on here too late.
Got a nice invitation from Kevin, Mits!!!! Glad to hear that the goal was reached...way to go team!
Nest Update01/23/09: Egg Alert! We believe we have an egg; we're just waiting for a clear shot of it.Here is a photo from earlier that appears to show her rolling the egg with her talon.
I saw that very shot when it was happening, but didn't think I saw an egg
he is very happy the team has done so well.....updates will be on WBALTV.com....the Super Plungers have already started today....they go in once an hour for 24 hours...there was a barge there today breaking up ice.
Weird....blogger cop reposted what I had put in 10 min, ago!
blogger cop has been giving me a fit lately
I would think the barge would stay on scene and keep breaking!!!! Otherwise, it's liable to refreeze by morning!
Is BW cam hung or is she just being still.
OK I saw head move.
I'm sure it will still be there tomorrow....Lynn
I remember watching this nest last year and thinking it was froze. It seems like she hardly moves, but we miss a lot in 30 sec.
I can't imagine jumping into water that cold. It would take me a year to thaw out
she is very still
Red, think there might be some medicine for the plungers, if you get my drift....hubby didn't plunge last year and he was taking alot of medicine:)
It is a very emotional day for all of us.
I can't imagine how cold the water is. The coldest I have done is the Missouri River in May, January gives me the chills just thinking about it!
I bet Lisa is very excited:)
Good grief, I was only gone for a little while...possible egg at BWE, sounds like a lot of excitment...Olive Garden- that really sounds good- hope Jo brings us a doggie bag...
With my circulation system I have trouble staying warm even on a warm day. lol
my brother-in-law did it last year, did not recognize him when he came out of the bay....had some strange color to him
I bet she is, too. I e-mailed her and told her we were all watching over here.
What kind of strange color, Mits? Blue???I'm with you, Red....I have poor circulation, too...Tea in my veins instead of blood, I think! Some warming medicine would taste good, and warm up the insides, but don't think it would help much on the outside!!
Megan....is your daughter going to Japan???
yes Lynn, blue, gray, purple...think he has learned his lesson...no medicine before the plunge
Jo will be excited to, when she comes home from dinner
There's a Mason update, it's long, so I won't post it- also a nice article on Mason in the Chronicle-www.shepherdstownchronicle.com
FROM LISA.....Thanks to all the Momsters! Hopefully we'll get a peek soon. She sure looks like she's incubating.
I would want a wet suit on! How long do they stay in the water? Do they jump in or walk in?
I hope so, Lynn- met with her Japanese teacher to discuss details of a trip to Japan this summer- have to figure out fundraising and other details.
What a wonderful opportunity for her!!
some people walk in and out, but you know guys, they try to out do each other and get on the cameras
that would be awesome, Megan....
Last I saw Ms. Hummer, the one egg had 2 holes in it. I don't see a date for a 2nd hatch & she's sitting on the nest! ?????
That would be so exciting, Megan. Will it be a school tour or will she stay with a Japanese family?
That is definetly an egg!
Yup. Just saw the egg and captured the phoot.
Two good views of the egg, loading them on Nest pictures soon.
Lisa has the picture posted, also. Mine are loaded on Nest Pictures.
yeppers, sure is:)
Hi guys!!Thanks for your support and photos!! Here's to a great season for all!
Got pic of BW egg, but can't find Lisa's em address---ARRGGHH
Click on "Submit Photos" on the cam page for the address.I'd post it here, but I don't want to get spam.
First egg of the season, cool!! Trip is not thru school, they won't do any oversea trips becuase of liability. Her teacher is from Japan, and adores her students, and they adore her- it's a small class, only 8 kids.
wow....Megan, that is even better, more personal
Yes, Lisa, Congratulations! It is so exciting to have the season underway!
That will be a wonderful experience for her, Megan.
Update from MOOSECAM.....January 23rd, 2009 Alfalfa left last Saturday night and the cow and calf left yesterday morning. So the web cam is now off for the season unless some one returns. Thanks for watching!
Wow just got back on to see if Lady Bw was in her nest and read that she has become a proud MaMa! How exciting for Lisa and the Blackwater gang. Saw your pic of it DEB. Nice shot. And the season begins. :)
I went to Japan for a week to help solve a computer problem in 1974. Really enjoyed it.
Put my EGG on blog--Yippee!Off for chicken noodle soup--how appetizing--LOL!
Good egg shots, gang!Loretta, the 2nd hummer egg isn't viable...boohoo.
My only ventures out of the country are Mexico and Canada and not far into either country. Mexico shouldn't even count, I only went to Tiajuana (?).
Nice call from Margy checking on my nails!!! She's home and will be on here soon!
I was so excited about the egg, I forgot about the Mason update. It is a good update, he is making so much progress!
You are lucky you didn't get one in your tires, Lynn. I have had 2 nails in the last couple of years, with none before that.
Good evening everyone; Well tomarrow is eagle days atDuke Energys power plant about 35miles north of here and i will bethere. The weather has been not tobad but it has turned a bit coldthis afternoon with some wind.Iwill have to dress warm.I just hopethat there are eagles around so ican get some photos.Another thingi have joined the Bio DiversityResearch Institute web site andit's cool. 25 min wait at Olive Garden - Went next door to Applebee's and had a great meal!I certainly am surprised with what all that has been going on in my absence! I wish our Paula could pop in for just a minute! Emailed Lisa to congratulate her as I do every year - Told I was very happy expecially since I know that means NCTC NEST IS NEXT!Refresh my memory - Did the Ft St Vrain have their egg before us? HO HO Lynn! I also got an invite to the watch those crazy PolarBearPlungers from Kevin..Going to go read about Mason..

I got one, too, but I won't be able to attend. ;)BWE eagle is up.
Megan, I hope you are okay!
I thought of Paula, too, Jo. We all had so much fun last year hoping the egg would come before the cam shut down for the night.Colorado eggs came the end of Feb.--26 or 27, sometime in the night or early morning.Eagle info for 2008She is working on the new one for this year, I looked today for it.
Howdy Folks !While reading through Blog I had the live feed up, know I heard Eagles chortling about ten mins ago... Just had to re-install Java to get OK eagles, looks like I can get Colorado, still had it saved in favorites..Now to ready 184 comments on new thread. Be back in a few...xo

OK - Oklahoma too - Their cam went down I think before anyone could be sure howof the hatchings - or they just didn't have a clear view of the nest. I remember there were 4 eggs!
