Thanks for the new thread Steve..It was certainly time. Hope tomorrow is better for you.
Thanks for the heads up Glo.Steve - I thought you got all frozen up!lol Thanks and please try to stay warm.
Have spent the last 10 min/ trying to post here as well as go back and gather the troops from the old thread...nothing but trouble w/ the blog site. Went back to your email Jo and got the link again, so will see what happens this time when I hit publish!
Okay...that worked...guess it just didn't want me to be the first poster!!!
Moose cam has cow & calf (I think) on the cam. It has closed down for the nightLive deer are in the PA Woods!Going to check out some TV - but tonight I don't think I have any favorites... BBL

looks like deer prints walked over the snow bank at snowman cam
Thanks for the new thread!Supper was good. Jo! Thanks for the comments on the NY pictures. It was fun sharing them. Now I am watching Grey's Anatomy.
Thanks Steve for the late night thread. Hope things calm down for you.
Whoo Hoo...the Mount whooped Long Island!!
I think I saw you, Paula:)
I'm watching a Hallmark movieBe back late tonight
Just got back form a meeting-baby it's cold outside....
Did hubby watch the game, Mits? Loved it at the very end when the kid off the bench, #50 I think, made that nice layup shot.
Hi, I successfully navigated the 405 up to LAX during rush hour. Wanda, I need an Eagle Talon! Busy day, we are off to eat dinner, tomorrow is the Harbor Cruise and barbacue, then Saturday is the wedding. Sunday morning is a brunch, then finally we can relax. It is still warm here, today we saw dolphins and seals and one OSPREY!! It was so pretty. Bye, wish I could stay and catch up!
Sounds like you are having a great time, Deb! Enjoy yourself:)
Hubby is still in Los Angeles, Paula, will be back tomorrow night.
hey Deb....good to hear from you.
Glad you are having fun, Deb.Aha, Mits, guess he didn't get to see it!!
We could see what was showing on TV from where we were sitting...they had a screen at the scorers table...so we got to see all the good replays! The only time I saw myself was at the very end when they were shaking hands...standing up clapping, I saw my lower half!
ER is a good one tonight...
Down to 10° here...brrrr
My brother had a rough morning but is much better tonight. Here's an email I got from SIL this evening. After a "bad" two or three hours this A.M. (nausea, shortness of breath, total exhaustion, etc.) Charles has had a pretty good day. He ate more than he has eaten in the last three days, has been up more and the pain seems to be better. He had a real good night...slept all night without waking up...(and so did I). I slept so sound that it scared me when I woke at 4:45 and had not heard him at all during the night. When I discovered he was still breathing, I let him sleep until he awoke on his own! The Home Health Nurse will be back out tomorrow so hopefully he will feel that Charles is improving, also. Thanks for all the prayers, calls, etc. That is what gets us through. Please keep the prayers going. Gay
NOw ER is getting weird...
yes, it is weird....
good news, Red:)
Red - Hope your brother continues to improve like that!
OK Mits - so no matter what she does, those 2 patients die...
it was hard to see on TV, Paula, but they kept running past the timers' table...hubby has seats around there, but he never gets to go, but maybe once or twice a season
it sure looks like that right now....Paula
geez loowez..just loked at snowman cam there is a guy in a helmet there.
Hmmm guess we'll see on that one, Mits!
Paula, looked in on the game a few times and thought maybe I saw you once, but the camera was so far back that it was hard to tell!Red, encouraging news on your bro.Deb, sounds like you are having a ball! More fun to be had. When do you head home? Me thinks you'd better just stay out there for a couple of weeks!!! You should meet up with Jim while you're there!
I hate lame duck shows....they just do filler stuff, cause they know their jobs are ending..
Well I think it's time for a soak in the tub, w/ a good book in hand. Hope everyone stays snug-as-a-bug tonight....it's a bitter one. Prayers for all, and Praise God for His miracle today in NYC.
glad to see the NZ pandas have calmed down and are getting rest:)...I am too, good night everyone
Movie was enjoyable.. Good to hear from DEB - sounds like the whirlwind of events is still going strong & really sounds like Fun!Red - That was good email with news from your sil. Will keep him & your family in prayers. I saw some lights off to the left in the snowman cam - may have been more snow mobiles.
Yea, groundhog day show...
Do you think that the Lake WA cam is frozen? Shouldn't it be getting dark by now?
Down to 8° now...time to head for the covers!Night all.Hugs to all!

Hey Hedgie- don't hold your breath...Many days our power goes out several times during the day for just a couple of seconds...all hail alleghenhy power...Hello Ceil, Helen, Norma
More Mason news:Mason's first words:Hi Mom.The way it happened: Sylvia was visiting her friend Nancy in the undisclosed location, Brian the nurse, more annoying to Mason than I am, called Sylvia, "Sylvia listen to this: " Say hi to your mom Mason" " Hi Mom" He also said " hello" . His voice is very slght since he is still learning to push air enough to vibrate his vocal cords and shape the words and use his tongue at the same time.I think about how many things that need to happen to speak, its amazing how hard he is working to speak. He has more to say and he will.We build a little at a time. Its all uphill from here. How amazing the people at Bryn Mawr are, I get worn out just by standing around watching them. All Superstars!Love and Peace from Newtown Square

Morning all from cold PA.Outside my window this morning the Pine Siskins are eating me out of house and home. Earlier this week my birding neighbor and I went to re-check the Sandhill Cranes that are roosting near here and we saw a large flock of Snow Buntings. Another birder says we missed a flock of Tree Sparrows, but there are 3 or 4 coming to my feeders this month. I miss the Red-breasted Nuthatches I had last winter.

UPDATE FROM MEMPHIS ZOO....Thursday, January 08, 2009Zoo gets Panda Estrus for Christmas!Greetings and Happy New Year! 2008 ended with some Panda excitement here at the zoo! The keepers started noticing some behavioral and physiological changes in Ya Ya at the beginning of December and our hopes were confirmed when her hormone levels started to rise. The classic song "It's Beginning to Look Alot Like Christmas" was soon replaced with "It's Beginning to Look Alot Like Estrus"! Since timing is key to impregnating Giant Pandas, we monitored Ya Ya very closely which included 24 hour watches beginning December 20th. Ya Ya and Le Le started showing signs they were ready to breed on the 24th and her hormones indicated the time was very near. After several attempts putting them together to encourage a natural breeding, the pandas wouldn't mate. The Zoo's Research and Vet staffs performed two artificial inseminations on Ya Ya, one on the 25th and another on the 26th. The long hours and canceled vacation and Christmas plans were definitely worth it! (After all, life does revolve around Ya Ya)! We are all very hopeful that the insemination was successful and a panda cub(s) are possibly in our future. We will keep our fingers crossed and keep you updated! Posted by email@example.com at 9:22:05 AM GOOD LUCK TO THEM....:)

Norfolk is up, you probably know that.
What I like about the Mason story, is that he said what he did, but prior to that, he followed a verbal command. Awesome! ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺
