HI WANDA! I read where Suzanne was no longer able to blog. That was a bummer for her as wekk as all of us. I just loved her commentaries in the am. You did pretty good yourself telling all of us stay at homes all about the gathering. NIce job. It made me feel like I was there.
Yes, the children's last day was Friday and I have to work thru Wed. I don't know how many mornings I will be able to get on. It depends on whether my son stays overnight up the road at Amanda's house or not. Both our computers are in his bedroom now.....we never moved mine out. So........I had a good time yesterday talking to the few that were on here and we all loved hearing your horn tooting. Missed you all so much. Maybe Oct. Who knows?
I love 8 year olds. I have them all ages from 11 down to 3 months. Wanda, they can wear me down, but I sure do love them. Hubby is big help. He does everything a mom would do. I am keeping the same 6 again in two weeks. I have to have a little r and r. I also have a prayer request. My CJ did not get to go back to the American Embassy in Iraq when he went back. He said he was not in a "green area". He is out in the field and I am much burdened. You eagle momster dear ones are great prayer warriors and I covet your prayers for CJ. I know I can count on all of you, and I thank you from the caves and caverns of the soil of my soul. love donna
Oh Mauley (Donna), we will all surely keep him in our prayers for the duration of his stay in Iraq. My husband was in the Viet Nam war and it is terrible; the worry and not knowing. Sometimes the green zone wasn't as safe as it was supposed to be either. God will keep watch over your CJ and always be by his side, and we will offer up our prayers to bless him and bring him safely home.
How happy I was TO hear that Sandra and Tom came to your dinner at the Clarion last night. I have been wondering how she has been progressig. You must all have gotten her spirits up as well as yours. That was GREAT!
LADIES, LADIES LADIES :) We have his computer(much more powerful than mine) and mine both in his room. Maybe once I get out of school for the summer, we can figure how to move my computer to my bedroom or kitchen counter or something.
Well, my worn out butt is finally home. What a weekend this has been! I am still so amazed at the sights and sounds of the weekend. It was so great seeing friends again and meeting new ones - Ceil, Mary Margaret, Ellen, Hedgesviller, Lynn, Magpie (if I left you out, I am so sorry but am so tired). Our little view of the nest is just such a small pice of what is happening there and it was so wonderful to see!
I see it was one day if you were there this morning. Everyone has been trying to coax the little one to fledge, to no gain. He has been flapping and had visits from the family, but........ still is in the nest.
Well, we finally made it home. What a trip!! I can't begin to tell you all how thrilled I am to be a part of all of this. I can't remember a more fun time that at the nest and dinner last night.
Got home and SHARON had left my laptop in Thelma's car (all her fault, I am not responsible for my own problems, she is :)) That's what I get for not taking care to get my stuff together. Tom is going down that way in the morning to the doc (thank God!) so he will go the extra 45 minutes to Thelma's and get it for me. Got work stuff on it, gotta have it! Plus I have to have it in the living room in the evenings to watch the eagles. Might miss something!
But, other than the computer fiasco, it has been a flawless weekend. Again, thank you all so much. We got some great pics, will get them out there asap.

Oh, and Lisa.
Yes, Big Sis, we will keep your family in our prayers.
I was so praying this morning for Baby Littley to fledge while we were there but it just wasn't to be.
Glad to see you made it safely home Sharon. Did you go all the way in one day or take two?

There is a huge fish and a mammal in the nest. I think the mammal is too large to be a squirrel or mouse.
Belle kept ducking her head down, thought somebody was headed into the nest.
