FINALLY Buta Buta appeared on the camera..Every time I have checked their cam, it was just the empty Hammock den. They must have just been left out of the other dens..They are
both in the day room now. Buta Buta just fell (pretty solid fall) when trying to get out of the hammock. She was following Mom - so both now are out of Camera range!
KENT cam 1 & 2 are back up. Cam 2 is streaked with lines.. Correct date is on them.
Burrowing owl burrow still has the large bush in front of their opening.
I am thinking it would block snow from going inside the burrow and also cut down on the wind.

DANA...the washer was on the porch and the dryer was in the yard from the house to the garage at the end of it.LOL I loved that house and especially my bedroom. Had many PJ parties there!
I am wondering if the Puget Sound cam will be turned on later this year. Just wondering if any eagles are around. I remember Eggbert so well!!

Squiggly ZZ is dead asleep up a tree. Pete's is loaded with bats, and I suppose bugs, again tonight. A box full of fresh snow at BW. {:~)]
Bai is also sleeping in a tree today.
You know, they had a big article about how often and how far to expect baby pandas to fall, but I don't think we've seen ZZ fall very far at all (knock on wood). Also, they said they had put out a hammock for ZZ, but I have yet to see it, and I don't believe she uses it ... on camera anyway.

Lib reminds me of our dog who would stand with our daughters while waiting on the school bus. When the bus picked them up and left, she would look down the road for a looong time waiting on the bus to come back. I would have to call her back or she would have stayed there til afternoon bus.

I remember about two years ago watching the Maine cam during a violent nor'easter, that did alot of damage but the cam stayed up and on , thunder lightning winds..and I have seen lightning and heard thunder at PH

LIGHTNIING AND THUNDER INQUIRY---We get maybe one or two a year hear at the coast, normally. If it is a big year of storm fronts, then maybe a few more. Inland is a different story though.
But I like it better when you give us the weather forecast!

The Bean Soup was made by Capt. Eagle. It is 15 different kind of beans made with a cooked-off ham bone, lots of ham, onions, carrots, celery, and tomatoes. It is wonderful. There was and excess of broth, so I cooked some mini penne pasta and put that in the soup this evening and that is called Pasta Fagioli. Very good.
I went to see if Norfolk put up any pictures today and the night cam is up, it isn't the greatest picture.
Sharon, I like it when Mits gives us the forecast too, it is up to the minute and alway accurate, right Helen?
