Ive ben watching the nest off and on for a while now and thought id post something here I was watching this nest a long time ago before most or any of you might have been.I have turned allot of people on to this sight ! HI SHARON!!!!!
I havent really seen as much activity here as I have at the Nest I am Personall watching In mY area and reporting on. ANyone got any Insight on whats been happening? Are they Fortifyiong the nest? Preparing for Eggs, are they dispalying any mating activities? Hope all is well

Hi Ozzie!
We are expecting eggs in about a month. Our nest doesn't need much repair since it didn't get trampled by eaglets last year. It looks pretty ready!

the keepers are usually close, but not much they can do if they really go at it
Boy, that Su Lin really has an active exercise and climbing program. She goes round and round and up and down her whole enclosure in no time flat.

The snow in Baghdad today was like a sign from GOD to STOP ALL THAT FIGHTING DOWN THERE PEOPLE! Everyone remained very peaceful and calm = at least until after it melted.

MITS, when the hummer leaves the nest, is that a white egg in there. If so what is that white jelly bean shaped thingy on the bottom outside of nest that looks like it is cracked open. Do you know what I mean>

OZZIE, I just clicked on your photo to see what it was and saw where you are from Zanesville. For many years, we traveled through there on our way to Chicago and never stopped. About 3 years ago, a very bad snow storm forced us to spend the night in Zanesville. We found the most wonderful Chinese Buffet there. ORIENTAL SUPER BUFFET on Underwood St. off exit 155. We now stop there every time we go to Chicago and on the way back. Try it if you haven't already.
