If the SD zoo was anything like when they finally let people in to see Su Lin, it was crowded and there was a 2 hour wait!
I didn't know ZZBear made her debut till I just saw it on Sunday Morning.
Our nest looks really pretty with the fog behind it....sticks are really crisp and clear picture today

Wanda had mentioned about ZZ's public debut the other day. Her picture is in Sunday's paper... She really has grown but it was hard to tell that she was getting that big because of the dim den's lighting! Not until she got outside did I realize she had grown so much.........

WHOA!!---CNN just showed PRECIOUS SQUIGGLES----TOO ADORABLE FOR WORDS!!---They said she was presented to the public yesterday!!---Just looking at her in the bright light on a tree limb----Just makes one feel all fuzzy inside!!!!----

Christmas is closing in fast tomorrow is Christmas Eve...
I wanted to tell you that earlier on one of the a.m. shows---They interviewed 3 or 4 women--with dogs-- hiking in ALASKA on a snowy trail-----They were attacked by a pack of WOLVES!!!---They had pepper sprays----KEPT SCREAMING--SPRAYING & WALKED BACKWARDS until the WOLVES finally left!!!---One dog was bitten by the wolves---After dog was taken to vet.--a park ranger was there---He said that this pack will attack again!!---They are hungry!!!----They were frightened to death---women could hardly talk!!
HELLO DANA!!---DALLAS WON YESTERDAY!----But HELEN'S favorite player--T.O.--was injured!!! ho!

Just found this site. I'm at Chincoteague NWR and our eagles are busy on the nest. We have a cam but it's not on the web. I'll keep ya'll posted.

Did you see all the bats at Pete's Pond? The rain must have caused another insect hatch ... a lot of bright yellow flowers I noticed in the daylight earlier too.
What's that on our camera's lens?? Looks like a brown glob in the middle, but it's probably only condensation from the cold, wet weather.

I see we have a NEW BLOGGER, ROBERT. Would love to be able to see that cam! There is a lot going on at Chincoteague. Seeing the ponies roaming free along the breach is a real treat. Seeing eagles nesting would be wonderful!

I hope whatever it is, it washes away. We can't have that messing up our view after all the work that was done to get our new cam up and running.
Red, I think you are right. I just checked the cam again and we have lost the small spot and the larger one is getting smaller. I guess I am an alarmist.

Good night all...it is Christmas eve...
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE...IT IS CHRISTMAS EVE
I checked all the cams and the only thing stirring is my mouse.
It is 34° here in Martinsburg/Shepherdstown and going up to 46°. We have a 3/4 moon and it has our yard lit up like daylight. We are going to have a beautiful Christmas day...sunny and 47°.
WE HAVE TOUCH DOWN AT OUR NEST!!
I think it is Belle. She is perched on the side of the nest, so it hard for me to tell.

I'm wondering if we have moisture inside the camera lens. We have had a bit of rain and a lot of fog. It seems to be taking care of itself. Let's hope. Can't have a spot on the nest when those precious babies come!
