Those dealing wth winter weather be safe and warm. Those out to shop enjoy the Spirit of giving your time in those crowds to find what you want for that special someone,,,,they are worth it. And the others ...well at least one of them is feeling pretty low, give them a smile and friendly hello.

GOOD SATURDAY MORNING TO ALL OF YOU; WANDA, JO, PAULA AND GLO,
I guess I am the sleepy head this morning. Good to see you all up and chatting.
I have our nest open, the BWO nest MT, the BWE nest MT, the Maine nest snowed under, and did see two eagles fly in to the Cape Coral nest. Pete's pond has Jim's yellow birds baking their wierd nests and animals making alot of noise there.
JO So glad to hear that your therapy is going along just fine. We need you at full speed on here.:)
Congrats GLO on being the number l on todays blog. Thanks Steve for the new thread. They did alot of talking yesterday and it mounted up.
I am so sorry about all your winter weather problems up there. My sister in NY is having same, and she is getting ready to move the end of the month. Get all your running around done early so you CAN sit down with a good book or blog. Please stay off the streets until they are plowed.
I hated having to plan around the snow, but I have to admit that it is beautiful coming down; white and clean. Then I want it to immediately dry up. :)
Well, I'm doing my washing and going to try to get Christmas stuff out of the way off and on today. Have some things to wrap and still get; behind this year. So I'll be checking in from time to time to see what you are all seeing and chatting about. BBL
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!---HELLO---GLO--PAULA & CANDY!!---Gloomy--grey cool a.m. her in WV--temp. 33°---Every one is waiting for the BIG ONE!---I hope this forecast is wrong--we have had a FEW wrong ones this season!!!---Things are happening at the NZOO!!---BEAUTIFUL CLOUDED LEOPARD is chewing on a huge bone---interesting to watch his LONG tail!!---The SLOTH BEARS & the FISHING CAT are roaming----FISHING CAT seems to do that until---his pool is restocked with some fish!!---ho!

The 'LITTLE PRINCE' was at the screen window peering in at his parents----He began to show off---"standing on his head--playing with his feet---rolling around, etc."-----His parent left the window---So he is 'STROLLING' around his estate!!---

Norma, I put the picture on my page, but it is so small and I don't know how to make it bigger. You can see the eagle looking right at the camera. It does look like there has been work done to the nest. I don't see a hole that was as big as it was before!

Hi Deb - Concerning your sighting of the eagle at Kent - I think it is Spirit. I can't record seeing both of them (Starr & Spirit) since late October. I have been meaning to email Loraine at Kent to see what is going on OR if you see both of them - be sure to get a pic!

I will, I was so surprised to see the eagle there, I check so many times and haven't seen anything in months. Kent is the site that got me going on Eagle cams last June!

Jim, I did see the hummer's video. It was so fascinating. Have never seen baby hummers before.

I've never seen anything like this Hummer nestcam, but there have been a few nests recorded on the INet in still shots ... one or two shots a day perhaps.
This is much better and the cam was in focus. Really got a more complete idea of little Hummingbirds in the nest.

Good evening eagle lovers, I have been looking at the cams but unfortunately I have not been lucky from eagles to moose to divers in Bonaire. I am so glad the season will be beginning again, I only hope I have the time to watch.
I hope this coming new year will be a productive nesting season, I know for me it will be minus the little nestlings, well one little nestling will be doted upon when she behaves like a human and not a 13 yr old soon to be 14 omg lol.
We will be leaving end of next week for South Carolina till after the new year, I will try and find time to pop in, most likely when Dan will be working and I believe he will keep his business open 2 maybe 3 days over the holiday week. I have almost 3 weeks off from school which is much needed.
I hope to take many pictures over the holidys and of the eastern bluebirds that nest in his yard, they are just one of my favorite birds.
This is goIng to be an important week as I and Tori will be meeting Dan's family, am I nervous, OH YEAH!
OH and scooby will be traveling once again with us to hang out with Bleu, Dan's shepherd.

It is starting to sprinkle here now, as we just went out to see some of the lights on the houses back here. Sure hope you all up north don't get too much snow.
Sat and wrapped presents this afternoon. and got that done. Still have a few more to get. Thank goodness we only get rain, but are under to a wind warning until 7pm Sunday night.

Very wet morning here. Says 30°, poured very hard around 2-3 am, then windy and ice was coming down, could hear it hitting the windows. Been outside, doesn't seem as icy as I thought it would be. Waiting for sunrise to see how bad it looks.
GOOD SUNDAY MORNING TO YOU MEGAN AND ALL EAGLE AND OTHER WATCHERS OUT THERE. Wind is still blowing very hard here, but it is in the 60's. Our cable went out just about 11:30pm last night; must have been from the wind. Am I ever glad that we are on the phone lines with the puter.
MEGAN So glad to read where you aren't as icy as you thought you'd be. I hope everyone else fared as well as you did.

It is 33° here and the trees are completely covered with ice. I don't think I will venture out this morning. Weather Service is calling for some light snow later but it is going to warm up tomorrow (in the 40s), so this mess should melt pretty quickly.
