Howdy, all. Finally caught up on the blog. Didn't watch the cams too much today...did see the snow in Maine and the hummers.
Also had a baby shower at work today for a lady there...little boy due early Jan. Hard to believe the second one for me will be here at the end of January!
Babysitting grandson Friday night so Mom can enjoy an evening with her girlfriend.
Off to watch Nip/Tuck!

Good morning, world. Knew it was too good to be true, had to sign in again this morning. It was nice while it lasted! Very cold out, 22 in PA, 29 here, but no wind. And no surprise snow this morning, that's a blessing!
Short thread, will have to go check yesterday's.

PA cam is up unfortunately. It's snowing like mad, little white flakes all over the cam. Didn't know what they were at first, but then kept getting heavier and heavier. Darn. The lines that were on it yesterday were just a bad pic, had no snow at home, roads were bare, sun was out, wind was blowing, and it was 27° when I got home. Brrr. But this is definately snow.
Today: Periods of snow. Cold. High 29F. Winds light and variable. Chance of snow 90%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.

Ugh, thanks for the ugly news, Wanda, but good morning to ya. It's been snowing on the PA cam since 4:24 this morning! Still coming down pretty good. Ground is getting whiter and whiter. Darn.

No visitors yet, and doesn't look like it's snowing in Shepherdstown, but deer still on the PA cam in the snow.
NO IT'S NOT SNOWING HERE YET. HOPE IT WAITS TIL LATER TODAY. Want to plant some more bulbs for my Mom; don't want to do that in the snow!
Deer just left, but the snow continues. Wish it was the other way around...

One of the panda parents is banging on the treat door. Pacing and wants treats! NOW! Tai sitting on the table now, so maybe he's waking up again. Parent scratching. No visitors yet. Parent pacing.
I see both BW and our nest are MT for now. Hope our eagles show up for all of you. I am going to leave the nest on the computer screen for awhile while I get to work getting the room set up for the day.

Stopped snowing in PA, I'm very glad to say. Just saw a squirrel head pop on and back off right at the cam! And we have snow on the ground here in VA. Not snowing now, but the ground is white.

Now that it's getting light, looks like we have more pine in our nest to freshen it up! All around the egg cup, too.

Their antics are such fun to watch. Puts a smile on my face that gets me going in the morning.

They are funny. They're not going up trees right now, just like rolling in the snow. Too cool. Our little prince is eating bamboo so nicely! Such a polite little panda!

Think mating started in January this year, Wanda. First instance of this year recorded I have is on 11 Jan, so won't be long.
Wanda, there is snow all over the place. Think the snow at the panda enclosure will be gone shortly, the pandas are rolling around cleaning it up!

Wanda, I have once on 8 Jan, once on 11 Jan, and 4 times on 12 Jan. Then I have Lady BW's egg laying dates, but not Belle's! What's up with that!! But Belle laid her third egg on 12 Feb, no clue when one and two were laid.
Jan. 8 is not far off. That must be so exciting to wait for eggs to appear in the nest...then count down the days for them to hatch. So glad I found this blog or it found me!
Maybe you need to leave work early Suz. Keep a look out.
