I see the pair of eagles on the BWO platform. I LOVE seeing that little sprig of green pine in their nest-I'm sure Lady BW must have placed it there.

Suz, I saw the owls there late last evening - thanks for letting me know when they left. I always thought they would be out & about in the night time... When daylight breaks at the burrowing owls site - the ground was snow covered yesterday.

He sure was, Mits. And Squiggles has discovered her hind feet again, what fun! She waalks a while, flops over and rolls, and plays some more.
Well, our little Precious just very nicely walked outta the den! And guess they changed the cams in NZ, Mom and Dad are on cam 2, baby is watching them on cam 1.
that was actually Tian that was watching Tai, Mei Xiang still wants nothing to do with him and Tian thinks it is another panda to play with, very curious

Norma, pandas by nature are solitary animals, but curious. Mei and Tian are only together all the time because that is what the curator Lisa Stevens has allowed, because they were together when they were in China.....other zoos only let the male and females together when it is mating time.
Wish ATLANTA would open their cam earlier----Would like to see BUTA BUTA playing!!---Every a.m.--same!

Well good morning everyone. Its NOT 68 here and I started my day without power. However by 7:30 am it came back on and seems to be staying on so I won't complain too much :).
Totally missed our Royal Family visit though. Will pull up nest cams very soon now.
I hope you know but if I haven't told you lately , I love this group of folks so very much I know I am busy sharing eagles around the web in a couple of different places but it does not at all take away my love of NCTC Lib and Belle and all the folks who also love this pair of birds. In fact several NCTC fans do invest time and energy in other places eagle and other critter related.
I had an awesome weekend last Sat and Sunday....way too long to post info on BLOG... If you are interested you can find the info on the forthelove of eagles forum site I hope you will stop by and read. I also invite you all once more to think about joining the forum. I know so many of you already read and enjoy other forums I think there are things there you would all like. We are early in the season and lots is about to happen in many of the nest sites.

Getting light in Kent. Think someone (squirrel type, maybe), moved the cam, it's view is just so much higher than it used to be on cam 2. Hole is still there, and we can still see it, George!

Oh Good Deb Thanks for taking the time to visit I know it was a little long...and I actually left so much unsaid. LOL Just went out to take some more pictures of the Ice. Sun has come up now and its like a crystal wonderland out there. So many still without power. I am glad to see it melting...should help to get it back on easier for many. News says they hope to restore most by 10 pm tonight. It is aobut 20 here now but the sun is doing a good job where it needs to.

Time for me to hit the road. I hear we are supposed to get an ice storm tonight, both in PA and down here in VA. If that happens, I will not be in tomorrow! Not driving in ice in the middle of the night. Fog this morning was bad enough.

Gene and I spent the afternoon and evening with my Mom. We had dinner at The Outback (first time for us).
Cocktails cost almost as much as some of the entrees. Didn't like the food very well.
Really, Wanda. Outback food is usually pretty good. Sorry it wasn't as good as you expected.
It could be what we ordered. We will try another time.
