Good morning, it is a cold day in Vermillion today at 10, with a high of 16 expected. BRRR! It is snowing lightly, with 5" yesterday. I am dreading going out to clear off the driveway. Some nice soul did the sidewalks for my neighborhood, so I don't have to rush outside. It is nice that the men of my street like to play with their snowblowers, so I rarely have to do the sidewalk!
PRECIOUS SQUIGGLES is sleeping alone in her "dark" den!!!---She was certainly active yesterday!!

Moosewatch - must be the youngest bull when comparing to Pook's comments & pictures. Younger then Bull#4 and I think he is the one that usually is down on his front knees when eating......

Late today....did a BIG boo boo....I ate a salad and loved it at Ruby Tuesday. Did I even pay for that last night....never again will I eat a salad. :(

Showers were a possibility for this morning, but instead we have a coooool NE to E wind. Humidity is not too low yet though.
I see the younger hummer hasn't fledged yet, but it's hovering a bit now. Probably later today.

Anybody know about the hole George dug at Kent?? It looks like it might have been covered or the camera moved ... can't see nearly as much of the nest as before.

Jo I can't eat salda's; oh my I do love them. But I try hard to stay away. Since I got the new medicine. I decided to try Ruby Tuesday's because I just love their salad bar. Nope can't do salads. That is all there is to it.
At the dinner at Rumsey I gave away alot of what was in the salad there. Still got sick. Although at that time I didn't have this new medicine. But I now know I can't eat salads again. darn I rather have a salad than a dessert lol Oh well at least I know for sure now.
Su Lin is doing some wind sprints during her excercise regimen today.

Jo, you have got to be kidding. I can barely post my photos on my blog and as you can see, I haven't mastered the wording yet. BUT, you have given me a new challenge. I will see what I can do. You realize that there is not much hope for someone who loses their vehicle in a parking lot! LOL

Hi Jim - Don't have your answer. I wish JOE would come in and tell us what his videos show. I am still working on the update of the hole in the Kent nest. I think the camera is tilted upward but cam 2 still shows that hole as far as I can see. I keep looking over on the kent forum for comments.........

Good morning, world. Extremely foggy out, be careful if you have to drive! But fairly warm, 35° at my house, 42° here. Well, maybe warm is a bit of a stretch, cause it's not gonna be "warm" till probably April, but it's not bad. Love the pic of Lib and Belle Steve posted! Love seeing them.
Have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to CINDI who had a birthday yesterday!!! Not connected at home, so I'm late, but I hope you had an absolutely WONDERFUL day! Happy Birthday, Cindi!!

Well, our little ZZ Bear started to walk out of the den and mom dragged her back and had her in a bear hug, Squigs couldn't get out. Then mom picked her up to nurse, ZZ wasn't hungry, but seems she's in the mood to play! She's all over mom, and mom's trying to get her to nurse. She's a wiggly little thing! Oh, maybe she decided she was hungry after all. Yeah, ok, one for mom.

Hope you had a good weekend. It is foggy here also. According to the weather report, it's foggy everywhere. 37° and headed for 50°. Going to be around 50° all week. That is a good thing for this time of the year, especially for those of us who haven't done our Christmas shopping.

Good morning, Wanda. Yeah, I still have some shopping to do too. I'm usually better prepared than this, but just can't seem to get into the spirit this year. Hopefully that will come soon! I'm glad it's warming up this week, and I really am glad it's raining! Poor birds water keeps freezing, this way it won't! Haven't been watching too closely, but haven't seen any visitors yet.

Haven't seen the eagles much lately but I kept the SD panda cam on all day Saturday. Dustin and I enjoyed watching Bai, Gao Gao and ZZ.

ZZ is such a little IMP, I could watch her all day!
We had awful ice up here last week and had to leave the truck at the top of the mountain. The next day we ventured down an road that isn't used much. Or should I say we slid down. After we stopped sliding and got straightened up - Dustin says "Oh I lost my breath"!
ZZ Bear is funny, isn't she? And she's discovered her hind feet, what fun to play with. She wanted to get out of the den this morning, and Bai pulled her back then hugged her. Tried for a whle to get her to nurse, and then she finally did. But she wanted to play! It's so dark now, I think Bai took her out and they're sleeping elsewhere, but I can't tell for sure.
I have new fog lights on the truck - so it really doesn't bother me too much.
It's a good thing his "breath"is all he lost! LOL
ZZ slept most of the afternoon on Saturday outside in the Garden room. All alone - she was so sweet.
Mother - so true! He is usually quite chatty - but he was real quiet for that ride home.
I wish ZZ had a twin to romp with. That would really be entertaining.

Suz - I think alot of people are having trouble getting into the Christmas spirit. It is so commercial anymore. It's not supposed to be about buying presents - but we all fall into it every year.

Yes Karla, we are so busy rushing around buying presents that we don't stop to enjoy the season for what it is. Maybe we need to change the rules.

Yes, Wanda, saw Violet and the deer in your back yard. That's cool! I see tracks sometimes in the snow, but have never seen a deer. The tracks go right past my car and to the bird feeders!
