Eagle at BWE. Glo, liked your pictures. I, also, went bird watching, but pictures aren't ready. The eagles were cruising down the river on ice. It was fun to see.
Good Morning, all. I had to check the weather. It is 12 and cloudy here today. We are supposed to get a warm up next week with some 30's. I am looking forward to that.
Both at BWE now.
Norma, I don't think a panda cam operator is there this a.m., might just be a keeper going thru the room and trying to catch them, but they don't have the time to sit and find them.
I am off again today. Headed into to Sioux City, IA, today to do some errands. Busy days. Hope they get the cam fixed and that you all don't get any ice!!
It is a balmy 40° here in Bluefield. Supposed to be 47 here today but tomorrow evening possible freezing rain.

Hi Deb and Norma Glad you had a chance to see the pictures. It is the Mississippi River Norma. I was about 6 miles from my home where I took those pictures as the Marina close by is frozen up so they are out there on the waterway. Countless and close. It was fun and the sounds were awesome too. Roads weren't too bad, but always a little differetn on the Iowa side as they do not have the river walled in...it is a natural shoreline. Insurance companies are not happy with Davenport come spring but the want it kep natural there and so far it is.
Lots of snow coming down on the Kent nest - really looks like ice pellets!
Glo just went through your eagle pics and they are awesome! Such a variety!
Moosewatch cam has come on - Mainly deer feeding with the one Moose Cow.
Watching TESORO EAGLE---Has that big-big limb always been there?---Certainly makes the nest look crowded----

I'm sure it was probably icy for Suzanne to come in. I walked outside to get paper. Most parts the sun hasn't hit yet and it is icy. It will melt but I'm sure the hour Suzanne leaves it would have been bad for driving.

SUZANNE is always watching the PA cam---But I seem to miss the turkeys, etc. She sees ---so I keep checking & today I saw that---I got so excited---I FELT LIKE A NEW MAMA!!!---I think JO is right------I might need another hobby!--ho!---NOT!!

Where is this fuel cell? Is it located up by the tree. Hmmmm well whatever. I hope the cam works and the fuel cell is full but I surely hope its not well.... I think you get my drift.

Thanks, Jo, for reminding me that the fuel cells are on the ground. Now Norma and I won't need the ladder. We are both getting too old to climb trees. LOL
OK so I guess I am also learning I think that the fuel cells are on the solar panels there by the tree. I wonder how often they will actually have to approach the tree to add water. Ok well mTBR I guess. Good nIght all have a nice weekend.
I just want to say for those who know what I do that our facility is absolutley overflowing with items to help the folks we work with celebrate the holiday and face the winter with warmth in their hearts and on their bodies. We have been open 1 year now and all of our families have had their children adopted for Christmas. The shelves are brimming with food and needed staples. Tomorrow I will meet an ambulance that will be packed to every inch with non perishables, we hardly even know where we are going to put everything. It is an awesome problem to have and there are many wonderful folks in this world I love this part of the Christmas Season.

It is 26° here in Martinsburg, and calling for a very nasty afternoon and evening. A Wintry mix of sleet and some snow. Not a lot of accumulation, but some slippery road conditions. Could last into Sunday morning, so be careful and end your Saturday Christmas shopping early.
No visitors to our nest yet. Hope they come soon, before the nasty weather gets here.

The Martinsburg Journal is calling for up to 5" of snow and wind gusts of 50mph....expect ice accumulation on power lines and trees and possibility of power outages. Get your necessities early, then curl up with a good book and a hot bowl of soup or take a looong Panda nap.
