Suz - the smell is so bad that you can smell it as you walk up to the car! It smelss 100x worse than a loaf of moldy bread.
What Karla didn't tell you is that the Mold in her car has caused her conjestion. Dr. said it is an allergic reaction. She is no longer driving that car. Said she would never drive it again. She loves that car (Red Mustang). Her hubby bought it for her 2 years ago.
Oh, GAG! Way too much information, Karla!!! That's terrible, but I still think that's a defect, not something you could make happen! I can't imagine smelling something so bad! I have a sensitive nose, and can't handle bad smells. Bad smells go straight to my tummy, which starts doing flip flops!
Karla, Daddy said to get in touch with the Ford Co.
Oh - I'll drive it again if we have to rip the carpet out!! Hopefully the Borax will work. If not we will have to replace it.
The smell went straight to Karla's tummy also. She threw up. Must really be bad!
I like mustangs too. That's a good idea, Gene, contact Ford and tell them about it. I sure hope they can get it totally repaired, and that smell out of there. But that's a hard smell to get rid of. Karla, did the doc give you some of that medicine for your allergies?

Yes - I'm going to check into this with Ford. Starting with exactly what was involved with the 30,000 mile msheduled maintenance. That was supposed to include a complete flush of EVERYTHING. I would think the AC was included. They did an Argus computer check then too. $800 for a "schedlued maintenance"
Just thought, try the nice approach and if that doesn't work, tell Ford you're gonna sue them for causing the allergies! Heck, nowadays everybody sues somebody for the least little thing, and that's not a little thing, so you may be successful. Tell them you want a brand new car.

The lighter it gets, the less glare from the infrared, and you can see her eyes better.

KARLA I'm glad to hear that they found the problem with your car, but don't fool around with mold. It can be very dangerous and you need to think about your health. Hope things go well for you.

Candy, I have a 2 hour drive each way. Total of 4 hrs in the car every day. Can't do it without audio books, I'll tell ya!
