well, with out the dunes, you have no beach....they recently replenished the beach up in Bethany Delaware....all the yuppies were complaning they had no beach, well right now the dunes are fairly high, and now they are complaining they can't see the ocean when they sit on the boardwalk, after this weekend may change their attitude, during one of these storms you could go up to their boardwalk and watch the ocean going under it....
Well, I've been trying to get the cam to come up with no luck. Finally gave up, patience is not one of my virtues, and they're probably gone by now anyway. Also no eagles have been to BW yet. Darn!
Mai and Tain are eating bamboo very peacefully together. Tai is up a tree or something. No, he's, oh there he is, cam was on other side of the bush. Bai and Squiggles are sleeping.

MITS That is what I used to watch in Kitty Hawk. I don't know if they cleared out the dunes to build and see the ocean or what, but you could watch the tides come right up under a lot of the houses during a storm and high tide. Then one by one, the houses started to fall into the ocean.
Looks like Bai brought in some more bamboo, but now she's picked up Squiggles and is holding her. Not sure if Squiggles is nursing, but I would guess she was.
SUZANNE I am still here. Just been watching Pete's Pond and looking for divers. Also trying to get cam up.
Nope, changed the cam for a sec, we're playing roll the Squiggles game. Well, she was.
Ok, Candy, thought you said you had to leave a while back. Glad you're still here. I finally gave up on getting the cam up. The divers usually come somewhere between 10:15 and 11 or so.

Good morning everyone. Hopefully Steve will discover the problem soon. Links to most NCTC stuff are down so I think its the website and not our cam with the problem, which coul dbe the good news. bad news is we still can't see our feathered friends Just yet.

Not sure, cause BW is up, but haven't seen any eagles today. But... pic may not be updating. Hate to close it and lose that one too. Darn.

Oh, network time out error on just fws.gov, so maybe the entire fws network is down. Nothing Steve can do for that, darn!
hard to believe Squiggles will be 3 months tomorrow, and have not seen anything about naming the cub online yet, last thing I read about it was during the fires, and they said they were a tad busy.
Yeah, that's the last I saw too, Mits. They said they had a lot of names to go through, but were busy with the fires. Better make it quick, she'll be 100 days soon, then.

Bai just put Squiggles down, reached out and got a PAW FULL of bamboo! Now she's flipping it and covering Squiggles. She is so funny! Now she's rolling in it, this is hilarious!

Now that's cute, well, the kid just left! Oh no...he's sitting on the ground trying to get a shot of Tai's face. The kid sat on the shelf there and watched Tai for a while, now his foot is showing, he's sitting on the ground watching Tai.
the rock Tai is sitting on is a cooling rock in the summer time, but I have yet to see any of them reall use it as such.
Oh good grief! Bai had left, and Squiggles was digging herself out from under a ton of bamboo, and here comes Bai with another ton of the stuff! She moved Squiggles, now she's flipping that bamboo again! Uh oh, on her way out for more? No, standing up giving the cam a closeup. Poor Squiggles is getting pushed all over the place!
