38 days and counting for first egg.
SUSAN, 38 days yes, but Belle really spent a lot of time off of egg 1 on day 1. So I'm hoping we get 2 hatches close together. Kids are coming TTFN!
Right, at this point we could get two in one day. I think they both looked pipped but someone has said that's grass?
Well, I must get to work and I'll be watching the still cam and reading blog for updates. All eyes on the nest :-) HAGD

We (Tom, Livvy and I) keep peeping in.....where are the babies????? waiting like you all!
Its been a fabulous week. Feel like I've been on spring break!
I taught my classes this weekend, 4 hours Sat and 4 hours Sun so didn't even feel like I worked. Took Monday off, and just a couple of small massage things yesterday and today....but mostly, off. :) Its been in the 80's.....even though spring hasn't arrived here, it seems to be in full swing.
Still working with beano....he's not thrilled with the velcro ont he thundershirt and pouts when he has it on. hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Finally up and moving, but stays in the bowl, moving slowly around...ok we might have a pip...on the egg...yes I think we do! it's on the one closest to his head!

Thanks for the prayers - they work fast. No further tests for now. Blood markers did not indicate clot(s) or heart problems. Will be issued an inhaler, as doc leans toward 'adult onset allergic asthma'. So will see if that lightens the load where breathing is concerned.
Now on to some hatchings!!

Lynne2 - when you reported your loud noise in the kitchen last night, my heart sank. I was so afraid you were going to say your frig bite the dust or something along that line. I just cannot imagine how you cope.
As for Steve's sister, maybe now she can be convinced to come home w/Mom for awhile.
I think what was observed as face plants during the night was probably Shep listening to the peeps from the pipper!

Good morning, I hope it takes hours so I can get into the hospital and watch the hatching with Tori.
Tori heads off to Kernan Friday for her PT then home. Doctor came in and saw her yesterday and said she looks great and how not many gave her a chance of surviving prior to transplant. Boy did she prove them wrong!

If I read everything correctly, Shep has been on since 4:56PM yesterday.
I just spoke with Nila's sister. She is probably not going to make it through today. Please pray for that family! Heading that way in a minute.

I just have to say, I am feeling great! I have had some tests recently. (Yes, I am very private about some things!) Well, I just got a phone call and everything is good! Had an echo cardiogram last week. Going to celebrate!!!!!
I guess Belle knew better than we did that she would not be needed for night duty last night! I just wish she would have told all of us so we could have relaxed yesterday! Good for her for taking the night off while she could!
Now, I would love to see another big ol' fish dropped off sometime soon!
I said the same thing last night may be she knew something we didn't and wanted to rest knowing when she had in store Love it Just love it ♥♥

I have a great nephew that was kayaking on a river in Florida recently. They saw 4 manatees and he put on fb a picture of one. He said it had big blue eyes!
Yes that fish has had flies on it this makes 2nd day now. Need a fresh one later. Chick won't eat 1st day hatch. Belle will though.

The manatee are soooo cool we go over to Big Bend to see them its is a elec plant and the waters are always warm there are hundreds of them there all the time
